2023-10-21 01:35:49I love the chicken karaage at Mazesoba Hero. It’s juicy inside with a lovely crispy texture, which usually leads me to get the Crown Mazesoba. I got the Ocean this time around to try something different. It was still great, but my favorite is the Crown.Ask for the rice at the end to mix with some of the remaining toppings and sauce if you want to experience food coma.

2023-11-03 04:30:22Taste :4.7/5Environment: 4.5/5Service:4.3/5Mazesoba, which literally means “mixed noodles”, is a dish that originated in Nagoya, Japan, and features thick and chewy noodles tossed with a savory sauce and various toppings. The sauce is made with soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, chili oil, and lard, creating a rich and flavorful base that coats every strand of noodle. The toppings include minced pork, green onion, seaweed, garlic chips, and a raw egg yolk that adds a creamy texture when mixed with the noodles.I enjoy the chew noodles and fried chickenEverything is amazing and tastySo I even so full whole day ..

2023-07-22 04:10:41The portion is huge, it is supposed to come with a bowl of rice upon request. We try the Champion, Ocean and Crown. In addition, we also ordered the Karaage as well. The fried chicken has this crunchy batter on the outside and the chicken is juicy on the inside. Sort of reminds me of Taiwanese popcorn chicken. The noodles are chewy, the soft boiled egg is awesome. Upon seated we were given a paper menu and ice water quickly. Since it was our 1st time here, we ended up scanning the QR code on the table to view the menu on the phone which has pictures to better illustrate the items in the menu. Which makes ordering a lot easier especially for 1st timer. Parking can be very limited and tough during peak hours.

2023-10-26 18:52:15I think I would have enjoyed it more if the food was hotter. The temperature of the food when it arrived at the table was warm but not hot. It was like they waited until it cooled down before serving it. The portion was a little bit on the smaller size, but was perfect because they provide you with a small bowl of rice (3 or 4 bite worth) to mix it with the sauce. If I go there again, I probably opt for the spicy version. It was a little bland for my taste.

2023-05-25 18:11:37This place is good! I have previously only tried this style of noodle from Menya in Arcadia, and not sure if this is just a new style to enjoy ramen noodles. If you are a eggs Benedict lover, or someone that loves runny eggs, having this addition to a noodle bursting with flavor is delicious. I have visited twice, and have had a great experience with the friendly staff. The place is right across from Mt. Sac, it isn’t the biggest place so if you are looking for 8+ this wouldn’t be the spot. The place looks modern and clean.FoodThe two times that I came, I gave the Champion Mazesoba a try. It is so good with the runny egg plus additional two soft boiled eggs and the cha-Siu. I’m glad I gave spicy a try as the first time I got it with no spicy. The first time I also tried the Crown Mazesoba. It was also quite good if you like Karage, that is fried and sweet.I will definitely plan another trip sometime in the near future again. The good thing is that you also do not have to drive far into Orange County, or 626 area to get this, as it is right in Walnut. Until next time!

2022-09-01 00:26:56This is a good place to taste the soba noodles. The favor is delicious, and the price is affordable. I hope it has a little bigger portion for the noodles. Currently, it is enough for a girl, but as a man it is a little less than I need. They can provide a small bowl of rice for free after the noodles is finished. With that, it is enough for me. Unfortunately, they don’t provide the small bowl of rice for take out orders. I guess giving one small rice is a good idea if customers ask for it. Also, the servers are very friendly and responsive. That’s plus point.

2022-08-02 04:48:18Japanese noodle spot located across Mt. Sac. Came here for takeout on a Friday evening with my sister and ordered there. There’s indoor dining available (no outdoor options) and takeout available. They include instructions on how to microwave your noodles if you opt for takeout (very helpful) and also put the spices separately so you can mix them in yourself. The employees were very nice and friendly.I opted for the original mazesoba while my sister opted for the curry. The portion sizes were generous and I liked the soft, chewy texture of the noodles, which are fatter than typical ramen noodles. Note that there is an over-easy egg that you do mix into the noodles. I found the flavor of my noodles to be good, but my sister found the curry to be a tad too salty.

2023-08-25 20:36:40I like their mazesoba. It was a really authentic maze sauce that I once had in Japan. I think the combination of basic mazesoba and karaage is the best 👍👍When you have the noodle, it would be great together with their special vinegar!

2022-06-30 13:47:28Brothless noodles but saucy. You have an option to make the classic noodles in to rice bowl. I got the curry spicy, and it was pretty hot. The noodles had a good thick texture and were quite heavy. You get complimentary rice to finish off your sauce, and they also recommend adding vinegar halfway through to change the flavor. Its far from my home, so I dont see myself coming out often, but if I am in the area, it will be one of my top choices. Food does take a bit, though.

2023-01-21 21:22:51I think Im in love! I absolutely adore Q texture which mazesoba offers with their fat curly noodles and thick meat sauce. You must add vinegar though otherwise its hard to power to the bottom of the bowl. We werent prepared for this carb overload so didnt ask for the extra complimentary rice that you can get to soak up the rest of the meat sauce but Ill be better prepared next time! We ordered the supreme and champion bowls and I think I might slightly prefer the champion bc of the meat cut and extra egg. Service was also so sweet and attentive.
