This is my first time going to this place, I’m in high school so I’m always looking for places to eat in my area. The food was great really, I read previous reviews saying it was flavorless and not good but for me it was quite flavorful and not over powering. The guy at the front taking orders is super nice and was really patient with me and my friend while we were paying. He also was very polite and just overall a really nice guy. However, one thing I find a bit strange is how they use disposable silverware and bowls, I ordered vegetable fried rice and it was served on a plastic plate and he gave us dixie bowls and plastic spoons. Everything you get is to be thrown away after you are finished and our table was a bit sticky too, it wasn’t a problem though. The atmosphere of the place felt very welcoming and it was very calming really. We left full and happy with ourselves, the guy at the front also said goodbye. Overall, this place is pretty good for what they give you, if your just looking for something simple I would recommend this place!

Not a place you eat inside. The place you order to go and eat in sweatpants while watching your favorite TV show. It’s so yummy! And the meat is good quality, which is the hardest thing i think to find in a quick Chinese food restaurant. They are so friendly and so efficient and so good. Can’t recommend them enough.

Mings garden is our go to Chinese place. The salt and pepper shrimp and honey walnut shrimp are amazing! We also love the sesame chicken. Thank you for the delicious food!

I ordered from here through uber eats. Each item comes separately as a full order starting at $15 per item. I got chicken chow mein, chicken fried rice, honey walnut shrimp, and sweet and sour chicken. Fried rice lacked flavor but everything else was great! Best Chinese food Ive ever had!

Best pot stickers!!! I have tried so many resturants with lots of reviews and this small restaurant is the best. They are perfectly proportioned. Not thick and clunky or too thin. Just so happened to stop by, out of convenience, because my son was hungry after school. Plus, the Hot and Sour soup was absolutely delicious. Will be going back soon.

Came here once before and had a great experience. Don’t know what changed. Must be going bankrupt. Straight up- their prices are terrible especially considering the tiny portions they’re dishing out and the owners literally stare at you in the most awkward and off-putting ways while you eat making for a truly unpleasant dining in experience, to say the least (Maybe I should have just got it to go? Or maybe I should have opted out completely if I have to ask myself these sort of questions to post dining?). Wor wonton soup was appallingly small yet delicious, which is the only reason for not the 2 stars and not 1. There are far too many options in the city with great wor wonton soup with much more generous portions and staff that don’t deliberately go out of their way to make you feel uncomfortable to ever eat here again.

Stopped by to get my family’s dinner for takeout. The food was yummy and staff was super friendly. We had combination platters which include fried rice and an egg roll. What a great deal! Szechuan beef and Kung Pao tofu was delicious... a bit spicy as noted so next time will ask for it mild. We also had Chow Mein with pork and chicken.. very yummy.. sautéed string beans were also a nice side. Nice restaurant to have in my neighborhood. Will use it for all our Chinese food takeout orders from now on.

Mings has become my favorite Chinese restaurant in the South Bay. The dining room is small and nothing to get excited about - but its comfortable. We usually get our food to go and were always delighted with the quality, the portions and the price. I dont know how these wonderful folks can be profitable with such reasonable prices. When we order by phone, the food is prepared fresh and very promptly. Thank you Mings!

Been going here for a few years even dined inside came here to support them even though we drive from the Cambrian Park Plaza area and pass by numerous Chinese restaurants.We purchased about $70 worth of food to go they gave us one small container of sweet and sour at which time we requested additional container for dipping since the meal was going to be split between 3 people he then informed us that its a dollar extra charge per container, seriously! you want to charge $1 for each extra container of dipping sauce after we just purchase $70 worth of food I dont think this is very good business practice and will never come back here again.Obviously the dollar meant more to him then the repeat of our repeat business not counting the referrals.

Ordered through Doordash, very hit and miss. Potstickers and the sauce with fresh ginger was delicious. Hunan beef had delicious sauce and vegetables, meat not tender but it was good. Chow mein was good but the Sweet Sour was a disaster. No pineapple, onion or bell pepper....it looked like popcorn chicken and then they give you not enough sweet and sour you are supposed to pour yourself. It tasted like fryer oil and should be taken off menu until they improve it. Dont order the Sweet and Sour and you should be OK.

My one and only experience with this place: I placed an order for delivery well before their closing time. They accepted it, and then never made the order or let me know they couldnt do it. Super unprofessional and Id never try this place again.

Hello left a car k Lins Garden is a small Restaurant in Little Plaza just off of Hillsdale Avenue in San Jose California. The food is pretty good A bit pricey but all way tasty and I personally can eat Chinese food at least twice a week if not more. I like Mushu pork with Square pancakes, diced chicken with hot pepper sauce is pretty good, their orange chicken its pretty good but thats something nobody can run good anyway you get it are BBQ pork fried rice I give to Stars it could have been better and it could have had more barbecue pork in it so Mings if youre listening add Morepork and more flavoring.

When you decide days ahead of time where youre going to have dinner, thats usually an indicator that the restaurant is pretty good.We started eating here after the change in ownership and were quite surprised at the quality and freshness of the dishes. The service could have used a more friendly touch at the time, but it didnt completely put us off. Fast forward a few years and we no longer live in SJ, but will happily detour from our commute for dinner now and again. The service is so much nicer. Restaurant is always clean, and the food is just top notch, save maybe the sweet and sour pork. American Chinese *requires* a good sweet and sour pork. Mings is acceptable although somewhat plain. Overall, Ive never been disappointed with any of the dishes served here. Of course, no MSG and they dont go crazy with the salt to compensate like a lot of places do. You can taste everything thats in a particular dish. Also, leftovers reheat quite nicely...another indication of freshness. Because if youve ever reheated day-old Chinese, most of the time youll wish you hadnt.Some of my favs would be the Beef Curry and Onion, Pork Fried Rice, Pork Chow Mein, General Tsos Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken and the Pork Egg Foo Young. Only thing I dont recall seeing on their menu is cha siu bao. Most places offer them, although likely the frozen variety.

Best Chinese food in the area. Not only is the food great but the service is second to none and the portion sizes are very generous. My wife and I love the pptstickers (half steamed half fried), all the soups and orange chicken is amazing. Highly recommended

Tasty asian food in a small cozy restaurant. Friendly staff, great service, typical prices. There are a few items here outside of the normal Asian fare but for the most part its what you would expect from a typical Asian place. Too small for groups. Plenty free parking.

Best Chinese food Ive had in years. Moved here from the east coast in 2013 and this tastes so much like food from home! Ordered today through UberEats and was so pleasantly surprised. Amazing and will definitely keep ordering!

I worked for cruise ships and have been in many countries around the world, ate chinese rice in many different places and even chinese rise cooked by mexicans, but this is the worst experience ever, the rice didnt have soy sauce in it, it was white rice with few peaces of meat, a large side of fries was a small bag like from McDonalds. Sorry but this was teally bad

Best Chinese food restaurant in San Jose. The closer to south side you get, the worse the Chinese restaurants are. With Mings, you no longer have to go all the way to Cupertino or San Francisco. Flavor, price, and speed: they hit all three points.

As an experience, the food was mediocre - pricing was decent. From a customer service perspective, well there was none. This rating is specifically calling on their customer service.Was barely greeted as the person behind the counter felt a text on the phone was more important. Got our order wrong ... twice. And it was greasy and cold.Not sure what happened to this place but in a year things have changed, and unfortunately, not for the better.

Got off on the wrong foot. Intel Corporation hackers turned off my cellphone speaker so I hung up on Mings twice while trying to order for takeout. One of the dishes featured two weeks worth of five spice. It was ghastly. Oh well.
