The staff were super friendly, the food was so delicious that we had to come back a second time, they had tonnes of veggie options and even changed the meal for our dietary requirements. They gave us a meal + delicious coconut ice cream on the house and, as an added bonus, the food came very quickly. Highly recommend to anyone with a good sense of taste.

It has become my favorite Thai place I discovered it on Door Dash. We decided to go see it since it’s close by. I thought it was rather economical. I even ordered food to go and it was less than $100. We also ordered dessert. The Pat see ew chicken was great. I ordered the kung pao chicken with steam rice, the Tom yum fish. Everything was very delicious we loved it. Place is cute and clean.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Modern Thai and I must say, the experience was absolutely delightful. From start to finish, the food was incredibly flavorful and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend trying their famous Mango Sticky Rice - it was the perfect blend of sweet and savory, and the rice was cooked to perfection. This is a great restaurant with good vegetarian options to choose from. We had multiple servers on the floor and out food was brought out super quickly! All of the food was so good, especially the Chow Mein and yellow curry! I also had the Strawberry Lemonade which tasted great! I would definitely come back and recommend it!

Highly recommended Modern Thai Restaurant. After two weeks in USA, my family and I wanted to try a cuisine that was not Italian or Mexican. Very pleased we found this place. The friendly staff were happy to accommodate 100% vegetarian dishes (inc. no eggs). My personal favourites were the young coconut water and veg spicy rice 😋 👌

Food was good which we expected, wait time on a preorder was half an hour longer than they said it would be ready for pickup. We wouldnt have shown up when we did if we wouldve known it wasnt ready and to have to wait a whole half hour with my mother who I was telling about and giving high praise to the place and there we were sitting wondering when it was going to be ready... It didnt make them look good and it was a bit pricey to top it off.

I came to this Thai place that I have been coming for many years, and today, the waitress misunderstood our drink orders and had an attitude. All that needed to be done was to change it, and not give her customers a hard time. To avoid any confrontation with her, I did not acknowledge her when she brought our food out. She got upset I didnt say thank you after she brought our food to the table. So she said it to herself, very sarcastically. I asked her what was her problem, she replied that I did not order the Thai tea. I told her I want to speak with the owner and she said she was the owner. I dont understand, how this lady messed up a drink order from a long time customer, who always gets the same Thai Tea drink every time shes there. But there is a guy in Yelp who posted the same problem he had with her, that very same day. If she is the owner I feel sorry for the customers. She finally kicked me out of the place, all because of a misunderstanding over a drink order, which was her fault. Thru the years, I have brought a lot of people to this place. I cant believe something as simple as a drink mix up, which was her mistake, would cause bad customer service. She lacks good customer service skills and understanding.

Ordered takeout, Pad Se Ew with chicken and pad Thai with shrimp. It was about a 20min wait on a Wednesday evening. It was not busy at that time.. staff was nice and helpful. We enjoyed the food. Will come back again! Parking is a little crowded in this shopping center so expect drive around a little.

The salad was a family recipe how I wish I could replicate the formula! And the service was...A+. There was only 1 lady on the floor but that did not stop her from providing great service! Amazing restaurant. Thai food is very competitive in the LA area so finding this place is as a gem. I’m a big fan of Kai Yang (thai bbq chicken) and the chicken here is AMAZING! They seriously have so much flavor and it’s as better than the ones I’ve had at the “best LA thai spots” you can find. Really good quality ingredients here with perfect flavor. Totally recommend!

I ordered the pad see ew. They used regular broccoli. A little disappointed. And their carrots taste like frozen ones that youd buy in bulk. I hadnt eaten here in awhile but Im pretty sure when I came here years ago, they used the other greens (dont know the name of it). Because this is the first time Ive ordered pad see ew and got regular broccoli in it.

I walked in and placed an order of Combination fried rice, the combination fried rice, had shrimp, beef, chicken and pork for meats. The chicken was hard, the shrimp was not fresh because it smelled up the rice, the beef was more fat then beef and it was dry. I omitted the pork and Im glad I did, based on the rest of the meats. I will never order this again and it was expensive. Maybe when you eat there inside its better? I dont know.

Only eaten here once but it was amazing! The portion was almost big enough to eat off it 2x, and very low price for what I got. However it was so good I ate it all at once. This is the worst place to ever order from. They dont check who they are giving your food to. My order was given to another delivery driver and tried to give my driver the wrong order to deliver. When I call they have an attitude and told it would be 15 minutes to remake, 30 minutes I call and get told your driver is getting it now and get hung up. I would never recommend anyone to order from here, they have the worst service and they dont care about customers.

She made face of extreme displeasure when I requested more hot tea, sugar, and a spoon. Very bad customer service. When we asked for napkins and asked how many napkins did we want, with a face as if we where pulling her teeth out. Bad girl. I will go back to eat but I will request a different server next time.

This restaurant has taken a step to enforce vaccine passports.Im always in awe that I can walk in as a delivery driver, sit and wait for food and see patrons be questioned of their HIPPA status just to eat.Its amazing that the virus discriminates people by choosing to target those who are just trying to sit and eat, yet I walk in unvaccinated, healthy af, picking up someones order and see people get turned away even though they are just as healthy

I placed a two item order to pick up from Modern Thai. Showed up right on time and asked for my food. Woman behind the counter said I must have placed the order with another restaurant. Now, it was my first time, but I knew I had placed my order there. There was no one in the entire restaurant being served, only another person waiting for a to-go order. She could have checked with the kitchen, but chose to let me walk. As soon as I was driving home, I got a phone call to return to Modern Thai to pick up my order. Needless to say, I did not return and will never return. If you want good Thai in the area with people in the restaurant and good service . . . . go somewhere else

Thai food in a real Thai restaurant Ive been back two times. Theyre all delicious. I like the three-flavored fish menu.
