My daughter likes Pav bhaji, so we were in the area and thought to give it a try (first time at this restaurant). We just ordered a single dish and took it home. Personally we didnt like the flavor and the pav bread was not the traditional one. Its like hot dog bread. I believe I cant decide on a single dish, probably visit next time.

We stopped by this place while driving from LA to north bay and this was only place offering popular Maharashtrian food items.The ambience was mediocre, however their food was quite flavorful. We mostly ordered Maharastrian food items like pithla, bhakri, chicken sukkha and chicken saoji. The highlight dish was chicken saoji which was quite flavorful and had balance of spices. Chicken sukkha had too much spices and was burning for the palate. Prices reasonable for all items. Overall was a good experience for indian food.

This place is near LA and serves amazing, delicious authentic Maharashtrian food. You will find options you wont get anywhere at the indian restaurants. I specially love the kolhapuri options of non veg food. If you love spicy Indian food you will love it. Whenever we are in LA we also pick up food from here or dine at the restaurant. Best authentic delicious food ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Highly recommend the place.

It was the first time we visited this restaurant. My family and I loved the food. We ordered Maharashtrian and south Indian food. All dishes were delicious! Especially the Kolhapuri Tambada Rassa!!! It was so authentic that it reminded us of Kolhapuri home food. Along with that, the restaurant owner gave us complimentary Zunka & Bhakri! So exquisite! She suggested us some chefs special dishes. Kanda Bhaji, Sole kadhi was unique. Highly recommended!!The person who took our order, Aashish was kind and gave us the best hospitality during our visit.People should definitely try this restaurant for authentic Maharashtrian dishes!

Was craving for some Misal on a Saturday morning . And ended up finding this hole in the wall place out of nowhere. Drove 1 hour to eat some authentic maharashtrian food. And this place didn’t disappoint at all. Misal and Sol kadhi took me back home to maharashtra. Ended up taking khichdi and tambda rassa to go. Very courteous owner and very homely place. Must visit if you are craving for marathi food in LA metro area. Going back for sure…

I waited a LONG time for food. I was a walk-in, and I wanted take out. There appeared to be only 1 server. He took my order, and also served the existing customers and new ones coming in.I came in over 90 minutes before closing, and it took so long to get my order.When I finally got my order it didnt have the drink I ordered, nor did I have silverware to eat my food when I got back to my hotel.Im very disappointed, and I wont return. The waiter kept apologizing for the slow service.I didnt leave a tip.Very poor service...POOR OVERALL

The food was very good. Not the best Indian food I’ve had but that place is across the pond in Cambridge. So while there may be better Indian food out there, I see no need to drive any farther than this place-less than a 10 minute drive-to go in search. It’s that good.

Amazing food with numerous Maharashtrian style Indian food options. It is a small mom and pop style setup. We had the fried pomfret, vada pav, misal pav and tambda chicken rassa (Chicken curry). The fried pomfret was marinated to perfection and was the star of the meal. Vada Pav and Misal Pav were authentic, similar to how they are made in India. Be aware of the spice level though as Medium spice is already pretty spicy!

A hidden Gem!I was traveling from Phoenix and we stubbled upon this place. The lady was treating us like we were her real guest at her home, batter for Dosa was not pre-made but she made it to order.We ordered Rawa Dosa, Masala Dosa, Sabudana Wada, and thali peeth. This is not a commercial restaurant. It’s Authentic indian home style food. Everything was made from scratch. The quality and taste of food is excellent. Family owned, the food was surprisingly amazing. I ordered the mild chicken tikka masala and the aroma was heavenly, the spices delicious, the chicken tender and yummy. It came with basmati rice that was also yummy. The service was very friendly and the place had the cozy feels. I would highly recommend trying their food.

They get one star because they have no pictures of the food. They must remember Americans like Indian food but dont know what everything is. I heard of a dish named Rogan Josh, and it sounds good but.... There are no pictures and Im not gonna go in blind not even knowing if it looks like something I would like. Why restaurants dont post pictures always confuses me. At these prices you should want to give me a reason to come there and basic pictures of a few random dishes and the sides with no names do not help. My suggestion display your food in way that makes us say wow instead of never mind. Ill revise the review!

We tried this restaurant going after review which doesn’t seem to be true. Food quality is very poor. I should have walked out with my first vibe but I still decided to try. I ordered chicken biryani, mutton biryani, butter chicken. No idea of controlling the spice in any dishes. Spice level was inedible. Mutton biryani had no mutton to be found. Biryani looked like rice mashed with gravy. Butter chicken had not enough chicken. Total waste of time and money. Thank you!

I dont usually write reviews for restaurants but this is the best Indian food I have ever had in my life. You can really taste the love poured into each dish. August 2022. I visited this restaurant for lunch after reading the raving reviews. There was no buffet. We ordered some appetizers which were medium grade. We ordered a popular mutton dish( Kolapuri Sukka masala) . The gravy looked very pasty and old. There was barely 2 small cubes of meats which was covered in fat and tendons. What a disappointment that it cost $16.95. There was hardly any meat in it.The yogurt lassi and the red chutney sauce with the Dosa had a very bad sour taste to it. To end all this mess we ordered a Falooda. Their Falooda claimed to have kulfi, glass noodles, rose flavored milk and basil seeds.What I received was a glass of rose flavored milk with barely any noodles basil seeds. That Glass of flavored milk was $6.95. Mind you a whole gallon of milk these days cost about five dollars. There was no Kulfi in it and the milk also seemed to have separated like small curd floating cottage cheese.I am sure at one point this restaurant may have been good in all its glory. But right now the service, quality, professionalism has all gone down to the drain.The young man that was our server was very new. Obviously he did not receive enough training so we felt really bad for him. For every question or inquiry we had he had to go in the kitchen and ask the kitchen lady to provide an answer. He did not even know how to use the cash register. How irresponsible of the manager/owner to put somebody like that in the front. He was trying hard and seemed to be a kind young man. Our meal was about $25 per person. Not at all worth that price.

Authentic and traditional Indian food from the west coast region of India (Maharashtra). The menu is incredibly full of variety and novelty, and the food itself is delicious, very unlike most of the Indian food you normally get in the US. They have an excellent range of starters, street food type snacks from Mumbai, very traditional main course dishes and an impressive authenticity to everything. Definitely worth a visit.

I am from Michigan, while on road trip all the way from Texas through Cali best food ever. It was just like home. I am originally from Maharashtra, if you wanna taste best Maharastrain food out of Maharashtra this is the place you wanna be. Even all Indian delicacies are very good. Tried this place for the first time compare to another Indian restaurant i normally go to, let me just say I eat out all the time so great food great price I respect but wow this place overcharged me with some butter chicken that tasted too sweet and the chicken Biriyani was okay but call it Biriyani if you don’t put enough chicken in it. Also don’t call it butter chicken if you don’t put any chicken in it. I also own a business and let me give you some advice, if you put enough meat in it then price it that way but don’t over price it if you don’t put enough meat in it. The food is mainly Mumbai street food. But you will also find other Indian cusine.One thing is guranteed here is delicious food. Everytime gives you the taste of authentic Indian homecooked food. I placed 13 individual orders and the entire process was great. The order was accurate and everything was labeled, such a time saver. Chose this restaurant at random and everyone enjoyed their meals, highly recommend. The owners were sweet and gracious, cannot recommend enough!
