This chinese restaurant used to be good many years ago, but lately they are trying to save money on ingredients and customer service. it can be many times better if they care about health of the clients.

I like to come to get my food here after work whenever I have no time to prepare; unfortunately, every time I come here, there is this skinny Hispanic man, probably 5'3” to 5'4”, wears a rectangle black-framed eyeglasses and he acts like he is the boss ( he is also sometimes the cook) is EXTREMELY STINGY in serving food. I once heard him instructing the other lady, telling her in Spanish not to put much into the meal she was preparing, so she returned some of the servings. But I noticed he would put a lot of servings to his ethnicity or “his people.” When it comes to other customers, he never smiles, never greets, and always acts irritated. I do not know if it is the franchise policy of this place to be stingy in their food serving because when I go to other Panda, they are generous with their serving, especially when closing time is near.To that Hispanic man, if you have personal issues or are not happy with your job, it is about time to reconsider your other options. To the franchise owner of this Panda Express Chatsworth, Granada Hills, please reeducate and re-evaluate your staff of customer service and serving. This Panda Express is EXTREMELY STINGY IN FOOD PORTION.Hong Kong Express is way better than your serving policy.

August 2022. I visited this restaurant for lunch after reading the raving reviews. There was no buffet. We ordered some appetizers which were medium grade. We ordered a popular mutton dish( Kolapuri Sukka masala) . The gravy looked very pasty and old. There was barely 2 small cubes of meats which was covered in fat and tendons. What a disappointment that it cost $16.95. There was hardly any meat in it.The yogurt lassi and the red chutney sauce with the Dosa had a very bad sour taste to it. To end all this mess we ordered a Falooda. Their Falooda claimed to have kulfi, glass noodles, rose flavored milk and basil seeds. What I received was a glass of rose flavored milk with barely any noodles basil seeds. That Glass of flavored milk was $6.95. Mind you a whole gallon of milk these days cost about five dollars. There was no Kulfi in it and the milk also seemed to have separated like small curd floating cottage cheese.I am sure at one point this restaurant may have been good in all its glory. But right now the service, quality, professionalism has all gone down to the drain. The young man that was our server was very new. Obviously he did not receive enough training so we felt really bad for him. For every question or inquiry we had he had to go in the kitchen and ask the kitchen lady to provide an answer. He did not even know how to use the cash register. How irresponsible of the manager/owner to put somebody like that in the front. He was trying hard and seemed to be a kind young man. Our meal was about $25 per person. Not at all worth that price.

Worst fricken chinese restaurant Ive ever ate at. My family and myself went there and they were short on staff only focused on online orders and not the actual customers that are sat down at their tables. We literally waited for a good 1 hour for just 3 meals! Unbelievable. And then I see all these uber eats drivers coming in to pick up orders and i honestly think that the people in the valley have no idea whats GOOD AUTHENTIC FOOD because I sure wont rate this even a zero from my experience with chinese food! Was so upset at the owner she had the audacity to yell at us when we didnt even complain or anything, we simply asked, is our food coming and she raises her voice like were her employees. We wanted to leave, but we just thought that theyre busy so the food must be worth waiting for. Well, I was very wrong because when the food came out, it was literally drenched watered down all the food taste the same and most likely microwaved frozen premade. Failure of a restuarant and possibly the worst in the valley next to grandma Kims korean restuarant. Go somewhere else if you want good Chinese food.

Used to go here all the time, love the Thai Basil Shrimp, but after some employee turnover, they suddenly are competing for the we are tirelessly trying to make sure you never step foot in our restaurant again awards. The Thai Basil shrimp or chicken used to be pretty consistent, but then started this pattern of sometimes its good, sometimes its pretty awful, guess it depends on who does the cooking. The third to the last time I came here my friend and I waited for like 15 minutes after we ordered and no food, mind you it takes all of 45 seconds to stir fry this dish. I walked to the counter and said, did you all forget me? The blond haired manager was very nice and apologetic and gave me 2 coupon cards for 2 free meals, but when we got the food, lack of noodles and very oily. The second to last time I came here with one of the coupon cards, and again, like 15 minutes to get the food, lack of noodles and really oily. Today I said to myself, going back with the last coupon, Ill just order something else. So I get in line behind 1, I repeat, one customer who is ordering. I am standing behind this guy for 5 minutes, then I say, excuse me, but could I please order? They have 3 cashiers. The girl at the cash register says, excuse me, Im the cashier today. But the rest of the employees, including the manager are well aware your like waiting forever, but dont seem to care. And you know why they dont care? Because their entire focus at that store is on the post mates and uber eats customers. In all 3 cases theres hardly anybody in the dining room, but they are working away filling orders and putting them in to go plastic bags. So thats their deal: screw the in store customer, if they dont like it they can go somewhere else. So if you go to this store you can count on a guaranteed long wait for not so good food. The entire crew at this store should go to Habit Burger and just watch the show, those people get it when it comes to great customer service experience.

This restaurant is overrated. The food isn't bad, but it isn't authentic, fresh, or high quality. My girlfriend is Thai and I've been to Thailand, so I know what to expect. The pad see ew had a heavy coating of pepper flakes and had regular broccoli. The pepper flakes were the super mild ones you get from a typical grocery store and not spicy Thai peppers and the quantity on there was obscene. One piece of broccoli was actually cold, suggesting it was previously frozen. This should be made with Chinese broccoli to be authentic and not standard broccoli. The tom yum soup tasted like it was from a mix. The spices were dull and not aromatic. The roti dessert was not crispy and did not have the delicate flakes and layers we expect.

LAOS ??Eat the World LA review:While Los Angeles can claim a lot of bests and mosts, it unfortunately ranks a stunning fifth (or fourth depending on the method of counting) in the state of California in the amount of residents that are Lao. This is easy to see in practice as well since there are so few places to find the cuisine, and those there are almost always pair it with the availability of Thai food. But even though this Mission Hills restaurant does make those Thai concessions, their exterior is unapologetically Lao. In addition to Lao Restaurant, the name is one of the first you learn when studying Lao: Thank you very much. One delicious difference worth investigating is the tam mak hoong ($9), a Lao-style papaya salad that relies on fish sauce and salty crab to do most of the work. Even when requested at middle of the road spice levels, this dish comes out ready to make your eyes water, and Lao eaters would have it no other way. The pungency of the main ingredients plays very well against the chillies, limes and garlic, making for complex bites that go many ways besides heat.
Country Deli

Yes, an extensive menu; yes, a great array of pricey choices. Family owned deli with south facing, sunny patio dining and nice bakery items to go. Usually we experience cheerful, happy, prompt service...but last weekend our server Lisa was ditsy and rude, leaving abruptly during taking our order... without apology or explanation. As she delivered our order, she placed my side dish directly in front of me with entree further to my side.Plates and portions are large so moving them isnt the easiest for someone with pain, limited mobility and range of motion, but not all servers understand the entree should be placed center, with sides... to the side. The entree is the star, the main event, the actual meal. We both had the impression she just didnt care about us as customers that morning. Her disappearance at the beginning of her taking our order made that clear. It wasnt her fault the biscuits were dry, hard, tough and chewy, in different places, tasted stale and the fried potatoes were burnt to black crisp in some parts, tasting off, oil was rancid or just too old. Fried fish taste doesnt go well with biscuits and gravy. The gravy wasnt southern style as I expected, hubby tasted and accurately descibed it as dried chipped beef on toast sort of taste. Nasty! Husbands pancakes were ok, nothing terrible nor rave worthy. The place was busy but we didnt get down home flavor or good service as expected here. This marks my last visit to this place, both for off, old tasting food, and yes Ive experienced that here before... the deli, bathrooms and outer areas look clean. But the first time we ate here tiny bugs were on the table... the waitress cleared them away immediately and agreed they were odd, never seen any like them, before or since. Still we gave it more a few tries... but truly... the sketchy, snarky waitress clinched any thought of return visits. Nobody needs to pay such high prices for stale food and a waitress who doesnt care enough to offer anything but rude, inattentive, scattered service...and overly dramatic shock when we didnt rave about our food when she asked how it was. Maybe shes an actress but the high drama raised eyebrow, wide eyed, open mouth shock was just silly. But she warranted this review. Maybe shed just had too much coffee but somehow I doubt that... All that and tight parking, too. Not any bargain.

Ph Saigon 1

Its a great restaurant. Once an Italian restaurant now transformed into a Vietnamese Restaurant. As you enter the restaurant, you get that vibe of what a Vietnamese Restaurant feels like. The decor is very traditional Vietnamese and the music reminds me of all the Vietnamese restaurants that I have dined at. However what strikes me most is the decor, the furniture, the lighting, and the space of this restaurant. Most Vietnamese restaurants are quite dull looking and looks very boring. However, when you are at pho saigon 1, it does feel vibrant here. Now, on to the food.. the pho is definitely the best here. Most people love and order half a chicken. For us who love pho, the pho with filet mignon is a popular amongst frequent customers like my mom. I usually order pho with beef ball, tendon, tripe, and beef. I also enjoy the rice vermicelli noodles with vegetables beef and shrimp. Surprisingly also Vietnamese rice porridge is better than Chinese rice porridge. When you are here at Pho Saigon 1, its best to first get the pho, then work your way though out the menu and try different things. This is my place to go for pho!
