Nice location with limited parkingFound the portion sizes relatively small. Falafel plate which was more than $12 had 4 falafels and hummus without much veggiesVeggie bowl was more expensiveSalads looked appetizing but sort of pricey in my view. Can pick up lunch if youre in the area for Mediterranean food. But there are other options in bay area which tastes much better for similar priceTheir baklava was a bit too sweet to my taste

Awesome Food! I had the lamb kabob, it was tender, and very flavorful, the rice and salad were a nice addition to the plate. We also had a few other things, the baklava was delicious, and probably the best Ive had since I visited New York. Certainly a nice intimate place, friendly staff, and the seating outside is perfect. Cant wait to stop by and have another piece of their baklava again!

Mr. Falafel a family affair. Falafel Delux Wrap, both my parents and I loved every single flavor in these wraps. Strong on the garlic, but we love garlic so they were perfect. The falafels themselves are the perfect texture, and my mom loved the charred wrap. Just amazing, also very friendly staff. My mom wanted to make sure I give you all 5 stars even though she never checks ratings.

Every year i go to Morgan Hill for the Art and Wine festival, and think about getting lunch here. This year I stopped in and got the beef and lamb kabob wrap about $9. These are made to order. The wrap is a grilled 8 flour tortilla. The meat filling runs the length of the wrap. It has a unique flavor and was a bit dry VS the juicy meat Im used to finding in a burrito, but it was good tasting as were the various chopped vegetables. There was a pinkish sauce that contributed to the overall taste, some of it dripped out thru the bottom of the aluminum foil it came wrapped in. That got a little messy cause I didnt notice it dripping right away. Theres only 2 tables inside and maybe another 6 outside. Keep this place in mind when youre downtown MH.

Best schwarma Ive ever had. Its not the cheapest, but youd be hard-pressed to find shwarma anywhere else to match this one. Everything from the seasoning of the meat to the vegetables and sauces come together with an almost scientific precision. As soon as I bit into it, I knew I was tasting a recipe that went through a lot of trial and error perfecting.

Terrible food. Is this place under new management!? I just threw $45 worth of food directly in the dumpster outside my house after taking 1 bite. SMMFH I dont know if the actual cook called out yesterday but wow I cant believe it was this bad. Havent been there in a few months was anticipating greatness as usual but was met with disappointment disgust and a feeling I was being taken advantage of.... what happened to yall!??

When in on 3/23/2019 first time ever and the owner of the company was a great great dude. The food was great and Ive never had this kind of food. Fantastically made and the hummus was phenomenal. Made me feel like I was at home. Even though he is a die hard Niners fan and of course Im a Raiders fan, it was great. We will see you soon.

Great place! Little and quaint, food tastes great. We were greeted by Art who is a work of art himself. He had a sassy personality and told us what we wanted, with our best interest. I asked if he had anything gluten free and he told me everything that I could and shouldnt eat, then ordered for me. His adorable son checked in us and refilled our waters. Highly recommend

Just tried Mr.Falafel for the first time today when they came to my neighborhood. First of all, the food smelled amazing right of the bat. The food was flavorful, authentic and delicious. Their customer service was fantastic as well and I would definitely have them again in the future so I could try more items off their menu.

This place was nasty....From the food, the service and the tiny space inside. Only had 45 minutes for lunch, and was already here. So, I just ordered a falafel and got something more like a burrito. It was dry and had no flavor. I took a few bites of it, then threw it in the garbage.I will not be coming back .The Falafel Drive Inn in San Jose is way better than this place......It’s fresh, sauces are better and the people that work there are really nice.

Always an awesome experience. Art and Betsy are such great people. I really cant say enough about how much I enjoy coming here. I highly recommend the vegetarian plate. Huge portion of food for not that much. Also try the root beer and the sweet potato fries. Getting hungry thinking about it. The tahini and hot sauce is so good too!

Heading South on 101 and my buddy found this place for lunch. I had shawarma which was delicious and my buddy had falafel, which was excellent as well. The falafel might have been the best Ive had. It was crispy on the outside, yet light and tender inside. It wasnt hard as a rock like some Ive had previously. And the flavor was really nice. Finally, the service was extremely friendly. I had a flashback to my childhood and how my grandma treated me when I visited. Thanks for the great food and warm and friendly service. Will be back when Im in NorCal again.

I ordered the falafel deluxe wrap, it was very great!!! I really appreciate the excellent customer service from the cashier and cooks. As someone who dresses alternative I felt no prejudice from them. My mouth waters thinking about the food we ordered yesterday! I got the chicken Sharma plate, the chicken has a great grilled flavor and good pieces of chicken, I loved the salad it comes with and the tahini sauce. My husband and brother inlaw ordered the wraps and they loved them! Ok but if you love fries!!!!! This place is legit the best place to get seasoned fries!! We were mesmerized by the crispy, flavorful crunch of this. We all spent minutes holding the fry and looking at all the spices trying to figure out what the secret is. Is it the oil? Is there sugar? Omg its just the best. We loved all of it!! Gotta say its one place I wish we had closer to where we lived but we will return.

The wife and I tried to eat at Bettos last Saturday night and every table was full and the 2 waiters that were working looked DEEP in the weeds. So we decided to walk to Mr. Falafel and give it a shot. Boy did that turn out to be a good thing. Im not a big falafel guy but I do like Mediterranean food. Theyve got a pretty varied menu but I was looking for something with chicken breast and maybe some lamb. So I ended up getting a combo plate that comes with 2 skewers and asked for one chicken and one lamb. While we were waiting the owner Art asked if we wanted to try their Hummus. Im not really a Hummus guy, (Art said this is because Ive only eaten crappy store-bought Hummus), but the wife is so she tried it and said that it was indeed very good. Al suggested trying their spicy sauce on the chicken so I took a couple of containers of that home.Everything was delicious, even the dressing on the green salad that came with the combo plate. The spicy sauce was quite spicy but very good as well. About the only complaint I had was that the chicken was a bit overcooked. But everything was spiced very well. We will definitely come back to Mr. Falafel.Apparently the family that owns this restaurant also owns Betsys, Ajays and Noahs. Must be nice.

The person at the register didnt acknowledge me so eventually I went up to let him know I had a pone order I was picking up. I asked if the order was ready and the heavy set balled guy sitting down behind the register spoke over me to someone behind me. I then asked if it was ready again after he stopped talking and he said No why in a rude sarcastic way. I replied I asked if it is ready because I ordered it over the phone and expected it to be ready. The person who took my order said it would be ready in 15 minutes. The guy talked over me again and said Dont expect that, it still has to be cooked. That made no sense to me 20-30 min after taking my phone order. I asked to speak with the owner and he said he was it. He is so rude that I decided to head over to Pita Pita, I cant imagine what this disgusting guy staring into my face, looking to argue with a female would feed the customers, just cant trust it. While walking out I also asked him his name. He said his name is Art, I figure this must be his parents business. This guy is too ignorant to be an owner of anything, but unfortunately hes running down the family business by working there with such a rude attitude.

The website is severely out of date and the man I spoke to on the phone was rude like I was supposed to know that what was on their page was incorrect. If youre going to look on their page, keep in mind:There is no Free DeliveryThey use DoorDash (delivery fee and app download)The prices are $2 higher per item on DoorDash than on the websiteDoorDash said they were closed at least an hour before Googles listingSo no order from me today, (closed, apparently) therefore I cannot comment on food quality. Great Mediterranean option in downtown Morgan Hill. You cant miss the A shaped building. Seating is almost nonexistent inside but theres several outdoor tables, plus the food is all pretty easy to eat while strolling the shops downtown. This is not Greek Mediterranean though, its further east so its a little different spice-wise. Its delicious stuff!

Had the deluxe falafel. It was good though the eggplant was a bit extra slimy. Seasoned fries were good, cooked well and heavily seasoned. One grievance, I never appreciate a place that doesnt have free water. Sometimes I just want water with a meal, and having to buy a bottle is ridiculous, especially for dine-in guests.

It was my first time in Morgan Hill with my buddy, who had never tried Mediterranean food before. While in the downtown area, we happened to find Mr. Falafel. We had the good chance to meet the owner, who was very kind and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious and I cant wait to go back again. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys classic dishes such as falafel, shawerma, tabouleh, hummus, dolma, and baba ghanoush.

I love this place!They have the freshest, crunchiest salad sides which complement their humus, babaganouch, dolmas, falafels or meats . You have to try the beet salad!Their traditional recipes were handed down from the owners grandmother. What a great inspiration. I really liked their wrap-style falafel better than pita bread - the lavosh bread was grilled a bit crispy and also made the whole thing easier to eat than a pita bread falafel, which typically falls apart after the first bite. I tried it with the feta cheese, but next time Id do it without the cheese, which seemed to overpower the flavor of the falafels. Overall yummy and authentic.

Hubby & I had 2 schwarma wraps (caramelized onion with cubed cucumbers and tomatoes, and a duo of sauces, keep the many slices of lamb and beef company in a soft shell of warmth with crispy roasted edges) and added a dozen falafel on the side, we dipped them in 2 types of sauces-creamy tahini and one that will spice up your life! The lady at this cute establishment surrounded by Christmas lighted trees saved us the biggest slice of her Homemade baklava to share (our fav) and the recipe tasted better than mine! Mr. Falafel is always delicious. My family and I have been frequenting this Mediterranean food hut for years. My husband switches his normal order between the chicken and regular (lamb & beef) shawarma on a lavash wrap, and spicy. Since I tend to opt for vegetarian options, my go-to is the falafel on a lavash wrap, easy on the veggies (which is a refreshing mix of diced onion, cucumber, and tomato), medium spicy sauce, and added chunks of feta cheese. The house-made hummus, dolmas, baba ganoush, and baklava are keen choices to try as well. Enjoy!
