Don’t let the line waiting for their order or food deceive you. They put a lot of bread and crumbs over orange chicken and most of their food doesn’t taste good at all and is not real either. Plus you get free attitude. It looks good but its not even close. They miss being accurate over orders as they take multiple orders in rush hour and make it while you wait so a lot of times they put wrong items. The people in line, especially the returning customers are there just because its 1 dollar cheaper than other Chinese restaurants.
This is my go to place threw postmates the portions are huge so its very worth it for price because who doesnt like the comfort of having left overs especially if the food is amazing! Rock on mr you!
Portions are large! Food usually tastes great! Customer service is okay. Only problem is Im using the restroom within an hour after completing my meal. I think its time for a small break.

Theres a line out the door and theyre on the phone or talking off to the side. You walk up and let them know what you want, then wait at least 15 minutes before they make 1 to-go plate for you. I highly recommend Mr. You Express in Claremont, CA. This place never fails to satisfy. For a fast food place, the food is always fresh. The crowds line up for a great value of fresh food and you served plenty of good Chinese food. I have been going to Mr. You for three years now and am always satisfied.
So, I called ahead of time to special order Kung pao shrimp and I repeated myself like 3 times and the girl asked me, Kung pao chicken? Told her no, shrimp. Then she pauses and says ok (brushes me off). Get there, they put chicken. As I corrected them, they made me wait almost 25 mins for shrimp... I got frustrated, they werent prioritizing the order. Then it looked like they got angry so, I asked for a refund because Im not feeding food with spit in it especially with covid-19 (gave me that vibe) to my family. As soon as I asked for the refund, my food was magically ready. Joke on them I still got my refund and now they are stuck with food that was special ordered. Have not gone back. Only way you can teach a business a lesson is by hurting their revenue and the reason I give 2 stars is because their food is ok for the proportion or else it would be 1. I definitely recommend this place who doesnt like Chinese food 😂. Unfortunately no indoor dining. Bathrooms are closed which I dont really understand but whatever. They have Chinese food, some bubble tea or boba depends on whatever you want to call them and a good selection of cook to order selection. The staff are nice. The place is ok a bit messy when I went there. Lastly expect a long wait time for certain time of the day . Enjoy!!!!
Customer Service is terrible with the lady with piercings in her chicks . I was telling the lady what I wanted to order & while I was ordering she was talking to her coworker. It was very RUDE! She made me repeat myself . She gave me attitide for no reason it disgusted me. However, the food is really good but custom service was terrible next time I will ask for different assistance.
The absolute best in the area. Staff is fantastic. I love all the ladies that work there. They custom make my favorite soup, Deluxe Wonton soup with shrimp, wontons, cabbage and green onions. Tada! Classic selection, great flavor! I suggest the BBQ Chicken over the Teriyaki Chicken. They pile the food high, and its at a low cost so you can easily feed a family of 4 with 13 bucks. Definitely the new favorite spot for Chinese! And its hard to find a good Chinese place these days.

A great Chinese food restaurant, located in the Claremont Promenade, near Downtown area. I have been here several times, and each visit was not a disappointment. The food itself was delicious, and cooked good. The staff was polite, and helpful. The prices were quite fair. So, if you are in Claremont Promenade area, I would definitely recommend a visit to this place!
I will never go there again. Yesterday I ordered a side of spicy chicken and it was alright. I got a large Coke and I drank maybe half of it until I realized that my cup was filled with ants. I told the lady I wanted a refund she tells me oh just get a new cup. No lady I said I want my refund back and she tells me oh only for the soda. I said no for everything I got and she didnt say sorry about that. How nasty it was. DONT EVER GO THERE.
The food itself is good, but the customer service is HORRIBLE, i was mocked by a lady covered in tattoos and piercings for asking for 3 forks with a small amount of food. The food was for children, none of them ate too much. I love the food itself but i no longer come here due to the terrible customer service.
The food here is really good, how ever the girls who work there have the worst customer service ever. Especially these 2 ladies one with glasses and highlights in her hair and a girl with a loud annoying voice with a black hat on. I came in to eat with my parents and I guess it was rush hour so they started to get busy, they charged us before our order was even ready and after that they kept calling our number and wanted to charge us 3 other times, on the third time i was pretty upset and told them in a really loud voice we already paid! The ladies there were aiready got even more upset and mad dogged us. When I was eating I herd one of them saying to another customer Have a good day, dont come again! At this point I lost my appetite and left.
Normally I go there for the fried chicken wings. And my only complaint was the long wait and the disorganized way that they serve you. But today was different. While eating my husband noticed a very hard peice of chicken attached to a very soft and bitter peice of chicken. After further investigation, it became obvious that it was a chicken head. Eyes and beak attached.Returned to the restaurant for a refund and to let them know what I found in their food. But the only concern was where was the rest of the food. And she said that its no way they served that.I was given a refund but not an apology. Never will I cross their threshold again. Bad customer service and fried chicken head. YUCK
It was okay. They give you large portions which I like. They have a aqua fresca fountain drink machine that is cool and my favorite, Thai tea with boba. My only complaint is that there isnt a large selection of non-meat items.
Generous servings and everything is always seasoned wonderfully. Their shrimp fried rice is the best Ive ever had even when compared to high end restaurants.
Sooo good. My new Chinese food spot. The boba is really good. The orange chicken, broccoli and beef, and chow mein are delicious. I tried some of my boyfriends bbq chicken and that was bomb too. Sometimes there is a line but check it out. The prices are good and they stack the food so 1 box can feed like 2 people.
My first time in....I ordered the Orange Chicken...They just brought out a New batch. I was glad to see that because the old one I thought looked a little dry, but when I took my first bite while driving home on the 15 parking lot... it was RAW! I spit it out and threw the whole box away when I arrived home, because it was all from the same batch and I was not going to try another bite!I guess I would of been better off with the old dried out Orange Chicken. 🤔The line was out the door so I thought Id give it a try..😏I did, and Ill Never I go back.. It is a great Chinese restaurant, that is located in Claremont Promenade Center. I have been here several times, when I was renting an apartment in Claremont, and going to Cal Poly Pomona. The meals were delicious and fairly priced, at the same time. Of course, sometimes the lines were big. Still, the wait, those times, was worth it.
I ordered a drink, the cashier put his fingers all inside the cup after coughing and handling cash. He got mad that I asked for another cup and tossed it to me. Mind you he put the nasty cup back up there for be new use. They was so rude and not sanitary I will not be going back smh.

Worst customer service ever! the cashier was very ghetto. Cussing In front of customers, sighed and rolled her eyes when more customers kept walking in. I ordered a combo b. when I got to the register I asked for a side of chicken curry sauce they said they don’t give side of the sauce, I replied even if I pay and she still said no she said if I make it a combo C. I was not going to pay for another side if I only wanted a little side of the sauce and not the chicken. To top it off the cashier was talking to her co worker saying “it was only an option” and her co worker replied “right” all while I was standing right in front of them. Very rude! Ive know this place since, 2009 I use to work at grocery store next door . Mr You Express was and is where I came to take my lunch all the time, they are fast, same good taste . I do recommend to be ready what you want because when is pack is a rush ..

This place has good food and big portions, however that doesnt excuse the complete lack of professionalism and disregard for their customers. The many times Ive been here, I have experienced bad customer service, but it has just been annoying more than anything. Tonight I had a completely horrible experience, and I regret to say this was the last time I will eat here.They had a herd of people behind the counter and a line of about 5-7 people (myself included) yet only two people were helping customers. The others were gossiping with two girls that were sitting at the side of the counter as if it was a mini bar. The things they were talking about were rude and vulgar, completely unprofessional. Once the line grew a little longer, the two girls that were gossiping with the other ones decided to help some of the customers.One girl was helping the guy in front of me and when he requested steamed rice, she decided that would be a great opportunity for her to walk back to where the steamed rice is, and start gossiping with the girls sitting at the counter/mini bar. He just stood there, as confused as I was probably that she would think it a good time to go talk to her friend. The girls sitting there were not on the clock btw, Im not even sure they were employees. After she was done talking, she finally finished serving the guys food, and now it was my turn.I stood there for a couple minutes waiting for one of them to take my order as this herd of people were walking around, back and forth doing god knows what, looking at me, then each other.. My patience was really running thin at this point. Finally one lady takes my order, as she is taking my order she says something to one of the girls that was gossiping, who was serving somebody in back of me. I didnt understand what the lady said to her because it was in Chinese or whatever they speak, but I did understand what the younger girl replied.. She said something to the effect of I dont care, I dont care who voted or whatever. Right when she said that I knew she was referring to me as today is ELECTION DAY, and I was still wearing my I voted sticker. Regardless of her completely unprofessional, unpatriotic ignorant comment, I held my tongue and stretched whatever last bit of patience I had til the end of my transaction.I am deeply disappointed that this person would make such a comment. It is every American Citizens duty to go out and vote, thats why it is called a Democracy, thats how this country works. And being that it is a Democracy is the reason they get to have their restaurant and speak their language and celebrate their heritage. There is absolutely no excuse for they way they treat people, and no need to make such inflammatory comments.I know this is a long review but I just want to encompass my experience and explain why, although I do enjoy the food/portions, I will not be returning here. I really hope they start treating their customers more respectfully because without customers any business will suffer. This place was never as bad when it comes to customer service, the younger girls I saw working there tonight had really bad attitudes, as if the feel they are above everyone else.

Huge portions, super cheap. They give you fried rice, Lo mein noodle and you pick whatever you want. I got one entree ( teriyaki chicken) for around $6 and feed me all day. Lol Nothing fancy or healthy but tasty!

Food is very delicious and fresh, I gave four star cause parking sucks on busy days and Mr you has good food so expect a line on busy hours and no where to sit but always worth the wait. I have never waited more than 10 minutes btw so not to long of lines.

The problem is that the rice is from the trays already there and therefore already cooked, it goes to the back and comes out darker, overcooked, oily and salty. It has no nuts and the picture shows tomatoes. Which i did not get. Actually it leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

They give you literal pounds of food for 7$ Yeah sometimes the orange chicken is slightly dry and so on. But these people crank out about 5,000 plates a day and I’ve never had anything I didn’t like. If you want a ton of great Chinese food for a tiny price. Deff try this place

I visited the Montclair spot next to Stater Brothers and let me tell you that this place was spelled clean you could eat off the floor. Not only that but the AC was ON!!!! The majority of Chinese food places never have the AC on even when it’s 100 degrees outside. Oh and their food prices are MORE THAN FAIR, considering the top quality of food they prepare.

Food tasted like the usual but shortly after both of were extremely sick. My husband has to miss work and was up all night sick. I was worried I’d have to take him to the hospital because of how bad he got. We normally don’t ever get sick anywhere, we’ve eaten at pretty sketchy places and been okay but this is the worst experience we’ve ever had. Avoid this place!
