Mr You Express

It is a great Chinese restaurant, that is located in Claremont Promenade Center. I have been here several times, when I was renting an apartment in Claremont, and going to Cal Poly Pomona. The meals were delicious and fairly priced, at the same time. Of course, sometimes the lines were big. Still, the wait, those times, was worth it.
The Upper House

I love this place and eat here weekly for lunch. I always get the Kung Pao Shrimp, very tasty....and they give you more than enough shrimp. I remember I used to count how many shrimp came in my entrée whenever I ordered a shrimp dish, because some places are super cheap and give you 5-6 shrimps like you ordered an appetizer lol. You dont have to do that at The Upper House. As a matter of fact, youll lose count by the time your on the 10th shrimp LOL! Anyway, the Wonton Soup is delicious, the orange/dynasty chicken and combo or shrimp fried rice is really good too. Everything is ALWAYS FRESH, HOT and made to order. Great service and great food! You must try....

This is my neighborhood fast food Chinese restaurant that I now try to avoid. Service is nasty and food is just ok. Whenever I do have to go into this restaurant if you ask for more than one little teriyaki sauce they are mean or asking for an extra paper plate. The people who own this restaurant obviously do not care about repeat neighborhood business because if they did they would nicer to the people who pay their bills. It also never looks clean inside.
Mongolian Barbeque

Ive been coming to this place for at least thirty-five years. Whenever Im in town visiting family I try to come to this place. On July 14, 2023 I was there with my father, who loves this place as much as I do and has been coming here for at least as long as I have. The food was and is always great—I have never been disappointed with it—and I have never been here without an excellent server taking our order, bringing our drinks, and bringing rice, egg roll, and other goodies that come with the meal. This last visit was just a bit different from the others in that they were out of a couple of the frozen meats. But once notified they quickly brought out more from the freezer. We were there rather late in the evening so I think they can be forgiven for this oversight. The restaurant is quite old and looks somewhat decrepit but thats part of its charm. I think this restaurant has been around for at least fifty years and it evidently has a successful formula that works well for the owners and its patrons. Why change it? Its looked exactly the same for as long as Ive been coming here. So what it lacks in modern decor it more than makes up for in the quality of its offerings and its service. Also, the fact that this place quite often is packed with diners on Fridays and Saturdays says something about the reputation of this place.

A cousin of my husbands told us about this place about a month ago so we decided to try it. Im so glad he did. They have the best broccoli and beef I have ever had in my life. The broccoli was cooked to perfection. They add plenty of meat. And the rice was made perfectly. Full of flavor to. The fried rice is also delicious. I love broccoli and beef and have always ordered that whenever I go to Chinese food restaurants and I have never had it taste as good as this place makes it. I will continue to return here. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
LA Kung Fu Noodle

We were excited to find a new Chinese restaurant opening in this area! We ordered a bunch of dishes to share, below are my personal opinions:- beef noodle soup: the most disappointing dish, considering theyre a noodle restaurant. The beef was ok, but the soup base is not very flavorful or has any body- shrimp fried rice: not bad, very generous portion for its price too- popcorn chicken: my favorite out of the bunch, the chicken is fried well so it stays juicy and not tough. Its also not super salty like some other places- pan fried dumplings: not very special, doesnt have much flavor- spicy wontons: the skins on these are so thick that theyre really more dumplings than wontons. The spicy sauce also doesnt taste very specialWe chose to skip the xiaolongbao because we took it to go and it wouldve probably died before we got to eat them.Overall a disappointing meal. I know theyre still quite new so hopefully they find their footing soon. I would eat the popcorn chicken again but would skip the rest.
Claremont Packing House

The Claremont Packing House is a historic building located in Claremont, California, USA. This is where I fell in love with my wife, the food, the music, the people and the shops are out of this world! The building was originally constructed in 1917 as a citrus packing house, and was used for many years to pack and ship oranges and other citrus fruits grown in the area. The building was a major hub of activity for the local citrus industry and was a major employer for the city.In the early 2000s, the Claremont Packing House was renovated and converted into a multi-use complex that includes a variety of shops, restaurants, and businesses. The complex features a mix of retail and dining options, as well as offices and a community center. It is also used as an event space. One of the main features of the Claremont Packing House is the historic architecture of the building. The building features a mix of Spanish Colonial Revival and Art Deco styles, and many original architectural elements have been preserved. The building also features a courtyard area with outdoor seating and a fountain. The Claremont Packing House is located in the citys downtown area and is a popular destination for both locals and visitors. It is easily accessible by public transportation and offers free parking. It is considered an iconic landmark of the city and a great place to visit, specially during the weekend, where you can find farmers markets and live music events.
50-Fifty Asian Fusion
201 N Indian Hill Blvd, Claremont, CA 91711, United States
I had a 50-fifty salad which sounded very good. However, when it arrived, I was quite disappointed. I couldve easily made the salad myself with a handful of cashews, cranberries, a lot of wonton strips that I couldve bought from the Chinese supermarket, and some everyday greens. The sauce was not very special either and the meal just seemed over priced and not at a restaurant quality. Maybe I just ordered wrong, but that salad was quite disappointing.
Sanamluang Cuisine

The food is amazing! The reason I gave 4 stars instead if 5 is that they dont give steamed rice with their entrees. Yesterday we ordered over $75.00 worth of food and no rice is given. Every Thai and Chinese restaurant I have been too offer steamed rice with an entree. Other than that, the restaurant is a nice place.
