MrsBean Jianbing in Santa Ana

Ive always wanted to try this place, just never got the chance to because I usually had already stuffed my face before coming to this mall. But today I saved a little bit of my appetite to give this place a chance. The menu is small, but thats OK for a food joint in the mall. Nothing wrong keeping things plain and simple. Today I decided to try their Braised Beef Noodles. I wish there were some sauces to toss in the soup. The broth and meat were delicious. I just wished there was something to add in so the noodles would have a bit more flavor. My wife got their chow main and orange chicken. Orange chicken was good, the chow main was good (to me). I like the hint of sesame oil I was getting.

This restaurant never failed me. They have the tastiest food ever and its always fresh I love this place. They have the coolest employees and the owner is welcoming and friendly. On top of that they have a good customer service. I give this place 10 out if 10. I recomend this place. Try them out 🤍❤

My husband and I have been here from the past. We have had this place in the past and absolutely LOVED it. However, when ordering for pick up (we live 5 min away including parking and walking), our food was cold and our soup dumplings had no soup. Unfortunately, the owner was not very understanding and left a very RUDE comment. We really would like to go back to this establishment, but with customer service being so poor, we wont be. Take care.

Picked up my food for takeout. Saw the food get put into packaging. I thought soup dumplings were supposed to have at least some liquid in them? Chicken dumblings were cold. Im truly saddened because I did really enjoy this spot. Probably wont go back now.Had to change my review to one star.

The owner was very kind and knowledgeable about the food in his restaurant. Said to us that if you want broccoli beef and chowmein, then you go anywhere, but here we are known for our dumpling soup. He was not kidding!! The dumplings were cooked to perfection. The broth was just right a d the amount of dumplings as well. I was not very impressed for the oder food items but the dumplings.

7/2021 3/5 starsKung Pao chicken with fried rice.Kung pao was far too salty even though I like salty foods like salty preserved plum. The taste of the chicken was mostly salt instead of being balanced. Impossible to finish.Fried rice wasnt evenly cooked. Some patches of salt and pepper that wasnt mixed well into the rest of the rice. Some of the rice was hard, definitely not edible.3/2021 5/5 starsFor a shopping mall fast food restaurant, Mrs Bean has delicious noodles and steamed dumplings!The Dan Dan Noodle beef have an authentic Chinese flavor (not the Americanized Chinese fast food flavor) with well-made noodles and broth you want to keep slurping. Bok choy and Chinese-flavored, boiled egg makes it a very healthy meal.The Pork Miso Ramen has a less complex broth than the best Japanese ramen restaurants, the ones that go all out with days long cooking to make just the broth, so dont expect it to beat those. But, on its own as a mall restaurant noodle, its decent with tasty enough pork slices, egg, and a variety of vegetables to fill you up.The steamed dumplings are authentic tasting and delicious with the vinegar and soy sauce dips. Hot and juicy!

I had the Kung Pao Chicken with white rice with a coke. I thought $17 was a little pricey for Mall food but this place isnt just any mall food fast food restaurant. It was so delicious and the portion was big enough for me to have left overs so it made up for the price. It was so good Im thinking of making a trip back to Santa Ana just for their food. Worth the drive and definitely going back with an empty stomach.

Food is delicious here and the owner is very friendly and patient. Definitely a good place for a meal!

It was the first time I have ever gone to this restaurant and the food was very delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone would enjoy a good bowl of ramen.

Mrs Bean Jianbing is one of my favorite restaurants. The menu includes items that are not at most casual Chinese restaurants, and everything I tried tastes upscale. The owner is a wonderful person and his staff are really nice. I highly recommend.
