Delicious and family owned!Cash only- so be prepared because we almost didn’t have enough.My husband found this place on Yelp and it was a great find!Their beef spring rolls and pho were so delicious! My husband got their Bun Bo Hue and it was good (according to him, I tried it and am not a fan of that dish in general).Pricing is very good and reasonable as well! Service was great and they are friendly and helpful (packed our leftover for us).My husband already wants to come back here (and so do I)!

The food here is phenomenal! It’s a small restaurant with a very homey feel to it. There’s a wide variety of items on the menu, but I came here specifically for the bun bo hue and was not disappointed. The nem, which they are known for, was of course delicious as well. I’m not sure if patrons order drinks here very often, but I got a fresh lemonade soda and thought it was so refreshing! Definitely one of the top Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to.

Nice and consistent mom and pops Vietnamese restaurant. The owners are super sweet and the food is cheap and authentic. I asked them to raise the prices like every other restaurant is doing and they told me they’re thinking about it. They don’t know if they will retire or keep going. That put me in a good depression. I hope they continue on but I do support all folks doing what they want. If this place goes I won’t know where to get my Bun Bo Hue or Pho. The spring rolls aren’t the best but the vermicelli bowls are good. I’ve been coming here for many years and will keep coming back as long as they’re here.

Nem Nuong K. is family owned. They offer good authentic Vietnamese food and moderately fast service. They are located on a small plaza at Valley blvd and Marengo ave. I had dinner here and ordered Com Bo Xao (Stir fried beef w/ rice) and it was really good; meat is flavorful and rice is good too. They have a wide variety of 48 food on the menu to choose from broken rice bowls to noodles to vermicelli. Prices are relatively cheap. Service is moderately fast. Indoor seating is relatively small with a capacity of ~40 people. This restaurant is good for quick lunch or dinner that will satisfy your appetite. Parking lot is very small but street parking is available. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will comeback again.

Really good Vietnamese restaurant. I come here for Bun Thit Nuong and Broken Rice plates. It is a very homey restaurant and the workers treat you like family. If you are feeling adventurous I would highly recommend the Bun Nem Chua Nuong or grilled pickled pork on top of noodles and veggies. So good and like no other. Enjoy!

Very delicious and authentic Vietnamese food. Food are always served fresh and really hot. The soup is flavorful. Noodles has very good consistency. They are not stingy with sauces nor the vegetables like lettuces, mints, cilantros, cucumber. The people in the restaurant which looks like the family who owns it were very accommodating and friendly which made our experience there even more pleasant. Also, the price is way better than other Vietnamese Restaurant which doesnt even compare to the quality & flavour of food and excellent service that this restaurant offers.Will definutely go back.

VIETNAM 🇻🇳Eat the World LA review:This was the first Vietnamese restaurant I ever ate at in the Los Angeles area. It was on an October day in 2015 that was boiling close to 40 degrees celsius, and there was definitely no way a bowl of pho could be ordered. Luckily the special here is the grilled pork patties known as nem nuong, of which I ordered the appetizer portion (below) that comes with a plate load of vegetables to wrap and crunch with as well as multiple dipping sauces and rice paper wrappers.°Khánh Hòa is a province in Vietnam not quite south, but towards the south end of the central region. Lets call it South Central. Famous for its beautiful Nha Trang region and beaches, tourists are a common sight, but maybe the most interesting regional specialty are these nem nuong.°If you have ever been to the famous Brodard in Orange County, you immediately recognize that they do not give you this option to do the wrapping yourself. After four or five tries, when you start to get the textures combinations just right, you have second thoughts about why that is.

This is the spot for super cheap nem nuong and banh beo. I think each is like $8.95, but you can also do half orders (which are pretty filling still). The shop owners speak both Vietnamese and Cantonese. The nem nuong comes as separate ingredients you have to put together. Vegetables arent super fresh and the banh beo could use more toppings, but still this place does the trick.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a few months because the food had been good. But tonight, I tried going there 10 minutes before closing and when I went in a big round face man just said “NO”. He didn’t bother to explain the time which would have been understandable, instead, he just rudely said NO as if they are there to do us a favor. The owner lady was a bit more apologetic but rude as well given the fact I am a frequent customer who tips 20-25%. My family had small restaurants too and I understand long hours can be frustrating but there is just no excuse to be nasty, rude, and un appreciative of your paying customers. We will never set foot at this place and will advice against it.

Love this mom and pop shop. The broken rice plates are pretty good. The vermicelli with coconut sauce is pretty good as well. The spring rolls are good, but not as good as summer rolls in rosemead but still solid. The egg rolls are delicious. The che ba Mau is also good. Not too sweet. Love it.

I love their service here,and their food quality is very good too. Especially,Rice Cake Topped with Crushed Dried Shrimp in Small Bowls is my favorite here, and overall price for the food is worth to pay and fair. Also, Spring Rolls here is larger than other Vietnamese Restaurant so I would recommend to have one if people come by here.

Ive been having pho here for some time now and I love it! Their broth is delicious, it taste like the real thing (I am not Vietnamese and have nothing to compare flavors with, however, this is the pho place I always go to). Yes this this cash only. The owners are so sweet and very attentive always with a smile on their face. A true mom and pop shop.. The pho and bun bo hue always make my heart melt. The love is definitely there. They never increased their prices after covid so I dont really know how theyre making money. Their nem nuong is so delicious too. People who come in here with a scowl on their face end up smiling and laughing after eating. This place definitely has a big place in my heart.

The soup noodle I ordered has very strong chemical (like detergent), meat was freezer burnt had no taste, 2 small shrimps were small and shrunk - They left in freezer too long. warm tea served after meal. We asked for more lemon then they gave us 3 tiny pieces size of a nickle. Pricier than other place I eat. Parking is limited. Toilet is in the back of the kitchen. The woman taking order was arrogant, she did not want to answer to the customer asked such as how the soup was prepared either they have used chemical additive to enhance the soup or cooked from animals bone. If they serve you a soup noodles, you should smell it 1st before you eat or else they will not refund if it smell chemical!

Toppings tasted good but need more of it. No Myung bean. No green onion or chives. The restaurant is basically a hole-the-wall, mom-and-pop shop. The way to the restroom through the kitchen confirms it, and I can tell you on a Sunday that there was no Hispanic cooks. Just 3 Asian women working hard to prepare some delicious Vietnamese food from rice cakes to noodle soupsI had the Bun Bo Hue. The soup was more subtle than places like Nha Trang in Monterey Park, but the broth still had savory body. The noodles were also rounded, standard rice noodles. The signature pork foot was more meaty than compared to competitors. The Banh Beo (steamed rice cake with shrimp) had powdered shrimp topped with a fried wonton. I would have preferred just a consolidated shrimp rice cracker, but the dish was tasty non the less. Another person at the table had the pho, and she did not state it was remarkable. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal in a seemingly local restaurant.

This is literally a snack, suitable for friends to sip and gossip, I like to eat at houses with red chairs (inner houses are better than houses with green chairs, they always drag guests in and cut and slash jubilantly). In addition to grilled spring rolls and yellow fish, there are also beans or mangoes to eat, drinks, famous lemon tea right next to it, very close to the porridge.
