I LOVE this place. My favorite Vietnamese place in the area. The food is incredibly delicious. I would recommend the BBQ 5 spice chicken (#15) and the chow mein (#9). I drench my food in the chili oil. It’s sooo good!! Paid $35~ for two people. Limited sitting so I would advise for takeout.

Every time I come here the food is absolutely amazing. The vegetarian pho is wonderful and has great tasting broth. The eggplant special is very good. Hearty servings. You wont leave hungry! The Boba drinks are really good and have almond milk options for dairy free.

Being three hours from home and in the cold, it was time for some phó. I was a bit skeptical at first but decided to try Noodle bar based on higjrst reviews for heartiness for broth for phó.Obviously, I tried the phó, traditional version as they have a couple to pick from. It was really good. The broth was flavorful and hints from ingredients really stood out on taste buds.I also tried the egg rolls. A bit oily, but still good and crunchy.The pork chop dish was delicious. I saw another costumer order this and was amazed by the glaze it had. I ordered To-Go but had it at table to taste! Try it!Vietnamese iced coffee was more like a watered down milk coffee or Boba coffee.All in all, it was a good experience. I would definitely try this restaurant again if I were in the neighborhood.

One of the best spots in town!!! Food & customer service are always amazing. If you haven’t tried it yet, definitely check them out! BBQ chicken with fried rice, chow mein, spring rolls, wonton soup are some of my personal favorites but everything on the menu is really good! Their boba smoothies are also delicious if that’s something you like.

Overall, great experience. The food was good and the servers were attentive and accommodating. I ordered the chicken wings and the traditional pho. I recommend this place for those traveling through. Finished the pho before I remembered to take photos!

I ordered a regular size Traditional Pho which is like a meat combination, comes with rare slices beef/slices of briskets/beef tendons, beef tribes and meatballs!!! Alotta of meats cuts! BomB.com. Should have ordered a large. Also order chicken chow mei and spicy chicken wings to go. That was a no go for me. Sauce from the chicken wing was sweet not spicy and wasnt my taste but thats just me. Overall the Pho was BomB, just wish the chilli oil was spicier. I put 6 full scoops but then again thats just me lol.

I’m have always LOVED Noodle Bar and with moving to Utah I have never found a place that could beat how incredible there food taste!!! On my visit back home it was a must to stop at. Even with the pandemic going on they go beyond to serve you the best quality food.I believe I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. One of my favorites!!!Also, their boba drinks(not pictured) are definitely full of flavor and love that you can combine different flavors together.

The food was good, we had pho, springs rolls & bbq pork dry noodles. At this time they only have 6 tables for dine in. Which means they normally have longer wait times for dining in. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The food came out fairly quick.

Amazing place to eat, they say Noodle Bar but even their rice meals are great too!However currently with this pandemic, you can only have take-out. Nothing wrong with that but if youre planing to eat in your car or not at home... good luck with that. You will need (must) a bowl if you get the delicious soup noodles because the plastic container that holds the soup is completely full. You could use the other container that holds the noodles but its completely full and very flimsy.Overall, its food is top notch still, if you plan on having a quick bite without any extra dishes youre better of going to somewhere else that has bowls for your noodles. And dont forget, if youre eating at home than current take-out services is great.

Pho(pha) was very good, but not the best youve ever had. My girlfriend thought it was weird we didnt get our iced coffee/ boba with our food, but it was near closing and the kitchen got our food out quick but not the drinks. I didnt mind as I consider boba as a dessert. Location is in a nook, lots of college kids eating late at night here.

Being a huge vietnamese cuisine fan, I am sadly disappointed... This was my first time here and the restaurant is highly reviewed so I took a chance and ordered the bbq chicken with fried rice, but ended up with overwhelmingly bitter and unpleasant burnt meat and the rice wasnt fried like its supposed to be. Really not the type of person to waste food but this sadly went to the trash.

Come here for the awesome food. Staff will gladly help you if you arent sure what to get. I cannot recommend this place enough. The way they cook their meats make them just melt in your mouth. Unfortunately, this last visit to Noodle bar in Marina was the one did it for me. The last few months have been a let down. Disappointment every time i ordered from here. From being my go to place to now not returning anyomore. I dont know what it is but the quality has gone way down with the food. Either being burned, over cooked, old and just plain sad. Always giving another chance when not deserved. Along with the lack of tasting like good food they raised the prices on everything!! Really wish it would go back to good food standards. Fyi there manger out owner comes of creepy as hell.

Waited for several minutes at the counter to place an order. (The place is slow and not very busy). When someone finally came up very slowly they were incapable of finding Fried Chicken on the menu. They must be new. Five minutes another lady came to help her with the order I had to state order all over again. This lady was rude and condescending and she turns out to be Manager. They didnt apologize for their rude behavior or try to be courteous, even upon a call back later, trying to make it my fault for asking for chicken, wow. This is the third time I tried this to order from this place will very similar results. So sad, I mean how hard is it to be kind and courteous? I will not waste money on pricey food with rude condescending people. I recommend a new manager and staff, its really not that hard to be kind.

I have ordered multiple dishes here on various visits and everything so far has been hot and fresh.The biggest drawback to this place is the limited seating inside and the high demand/visitation. If you arent ordering out, you might be waiting for a while to be seated. Also, why order out at certain places? Food is an experience. It always tastes better in person and you dont end up generating 50 pounds of plastic waste (especially when getting Pho to go, it always comes in several plastic containers and baggies for just one meal)

Compared to other vietnamese cuisine nearby. This one supplies you with the most quantity and great flavor. Their boxes outweigh by far. Can share a regular box of sweet and sour chicken between 2 and be satisfied. Friendly staff, and knowledgable. Ask them for recommendations and they comply. Got the best info for my kids ages between 3 and 15. They found their best dishes here. Only downside is they are closed on Tuesday but come here bi weekly to weekly. Great prices compared to competitors. Good portions as mentioned earlier.

The prices are decent only because the food is reheated and the managers really friendly but something needs to happen about employees that take phone orders and ring people up! Employees have zero hospitality with fake smiles just to steal your money .Im never coming back to this location!.

Ive been coming here forever and the food is amazing, anytime I order something new it’s delicious but the staff is what keeps me coming back!!Always super friendly, welcoming and talkative but today especially I was baffled at the level of service!My 1 year old daughter was sleeping in the car and just planned to park outside the building then call in my order and quickly rush inside to pay and pick up.So i parked next to the large window of their building so I could see the car, called in my order and let them know I was just outside ready to come in and pay when the order was ready, hoping my daughter would stay asleep that whole time.Just as I was going to come inside to pay, a server came out with my order! She took my money and came back with the change, I didn’t have to leave my car or risk waking up my sleeping baby.I have never experienced such a pure moment of human kindness. Embarrassing to even mention this place to your friends/ family when they coming to visit Marina. I’m Coming from a Vietnamese/ American family, my 18 years old niece’s cooking way more better than this restaurant. I gave this restaurant a second chance to visit again last week since I saw some ok reviews. My 6 years old nephew said their Pho tasted like soy sauce with hot water. A go to for my wife and I, we usually end up at Noodle Bar at least once a week. We love the food and service, but on our most recent visit, we were told we could not be seated and could only order take out. I was surprised because it was 7:45pm and they close at 8. I understand not allowing patrons after you close, but not while your open sign is flashing. I will be back, of course, but I guess they need to adjust their hours if they want to stop serving at 7:45pm.

What can I say but this is a great pho restaurants with great prices and quick service. The five of us ate for under $57 which is unheard of and I still had food to take home. Everything is made fresh to order and the flavors are incredible. The thai ice tea is great the only complaint I had is they had no green tea. But I did have the Jasmine tea and it was good. My favorite is the spring rolls with the grilled shrimp and I love the peanut sauce which I add a whole bunch of hot pepper sauce to it and I could eat that all day.

Excellent service, food is not traditional Vietnamese food. But it is an amazing twist to the normal. You simply wont find a place like this at any heavily Vietnamese populated area. Noodle Bar is pretty great. This place is really popular, so expect a wait. If you havent gone before, try the lemongrass and chili chicken for your first meal if you like a kick. I started coming here when I was in college. This spot always has people, but they have very fast service. Their sweet and sour chicken is one of the many delicious plates Ive enjoyed. They have great spring rolls and also BOBA teas and smoothies. The prices are right on the dot for the food you get. Now even 4 years after I graduated I sneak away and come to have lunch or dinner at this hidden gem. Its a must if you are anywhere near the area, beyond worth the stop.

If I couldve put 4.5 stars I would have, but they deserve 5 more than 4... This place is popular, delicious, fair-priced, and the staff are mostly friendly. The downfall is the food is so good that theres almost always a wait, but at least you can order to go I suppose.. Also they arent open on Wednesdays, but have no fear: they have another branch in seaside (about 5 minutes away) which is not as great, but an awesome backup. The last thing is that I could do without the puddles of grease under my food, but Im really not complaining about that because, so far, the lemongrass chicken with fried rice is some of the best food Ive ever had! Very delicious and affordable Vietnamese noodle house. Location a bit hidden near a grocery outlet. Had to wait 15 minutes but service was great and food came quickly once we were seated. I love this place. The good is great and very affordable. They also keep a decent eclectic collection of microbrews on hand too. In my opinion this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in the Peninsula between Salinas Carmel and Monterey. Not only that but it’s one of the least expensive places to eat and the portions are very large.The marina restaurant takes credit cards but there is a smaller sister restaurant on Fremont Street over in Seaside which has the exact same quality of food and prices but cash only.I have had most of their menu and have yet to find something I didn’t like.

Delicious Vietnamese / Chinese food that is full of awesome flavor. I ordered the chicken pho and the combination egg rolls. Both were excellent and the crispiness was on point with the egg rolls! I could keep going for a while on how good the food was but bottom line is its good enough for me to remember it and recommended to anyone in the area. Delicious! Best Pho place in Marina. Been here several times and they never disappoint in meals or service. Family favorites are their pho soup, combo eggrolls, pork vermicelli bowl, and boba drinks. We always come back. Pending on when you come, its a small place so the line can seem long but they move customers pretty fast. Worth the wait.

The pho that we encountered is as good as any in the Bay Area, as well as the fried and fresh spring rolls. They also serve up some awesome fried chicken for an appetizer! Each time we pass through Marina, we try to stop for either lunch or dinner. Theres usually a wait, but normally no longer than 10 minutes as turn-over is fast.

Honestly never leave bad reviews but I ordered take out food, 40 min later I went to go pick up my food and it was not ready which I was like ok it happens. When my coworker went to go pick up the food the manager joe was rude to him and we were willing to let it go But then they gave us the wrong order and when I called to tell them if we could exchange it or something the manager was very rude to me. he was telling me that it was my fault because I ordered it wrong but ive ordered other times and never had an issue. I had told him why I wanted to return in and he kept asking me a bunch of questions and when I told him my food had rice which it did and i didnt order he wanted me to point it out to him. They need to hire a better manager with more professional training or skills. Made me 100% uncomfortable.

They recently got a lot of new staff and my last four tofu veggie pho have all come as some form of chicken or chicken and tofu pho.Update: October 12,2019 foods greatly improved drinks taste amazing but boba texture is rapidly going down hill. Wait staff was very mobile and aware of customers needs. Appetizers came out in mere minutes, the rest of the food came out shortly afterwards and was delicious. A very quaint shop with amazing food. My only suggestion for the Noodle Bar would be more frequent sweeping because the floor was dirty. I would want to try their Boba smoothies next time, so much variety!

First I need to explain my four stars. I always get Pho. I usually get traditional with raw sliced steak, flank steak, tripe and tendon. The owners are Vietnamese and I believe their Pho is the best in Marina. I tried another Vietnamese restaurant and bit my tongue trying to eat tendon that wasnt cooked enough. It can take hours and hours to make a good Pho broth and theirs is very good. That being said other dishes rate only three stars and the fried egg rolls I would rate a one star they are not hot enough way too small and I dont believe they were fresh .Most other customers have told me their food was a three. Their Pho is very good but the other dishes I cant speak for. The Pho has a nice broth, portions are large and you dont have to search for the meat .the green tea bobba and smoothie w/or without bobba is also very good .I know the owners I know if there is or was a problem they care and want to fix it so tell them .they cant fix what they dont know about .if your a fan of Pho then difinitly go .I have been told other dishes get three stars from other customers. One other plus its inexpensive and all portions are large

We visited this lovely, funky little Vietnamese restaurant because we had fond memories from when we lived in the Monterey Bay area before. It did not disappoint! It is exactly as we remembered it. The pho is delicious and the boba tea is fun to drink. I judge any Vietnamese restaurant by its pho broth, and this one compares favorably with my gold standard - Pho Hung Phat in San Antonio.Heres a tip that we learned when we lived here before - the people who cook and serve in the fancy restaurants in Carmel, Pacific Grove and Monterey tend to have small Mom and Pop restaurants in Marina. The food is just as excellent and much less expensive. Its worth the trip!

Marinas Noodle Bar is the kind of brilliant little out-of-the-way place that every foodie dreams of finding. Tucked away in the corner of a down-at-heel shopping center, the Noodle Bars main attractions are their pho and dry noodle dishes, but other Asian offerings like wonton soup are first-class also. I went to the Noodle Bar based on the Yelp reviews. They are a cash-only restaurant (at least when I was there). There is an ATM on site, but save yourself the surcharge, and bring your cash before you get there. The pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) was OK. The flavors and depth of the pho here was not as good (in my opinion) as the pho at Taste of Vietnam (just down the road).
