Noodle or Rice in Vacaville

Everyone who works there is extremely kind and attentive. My husband and I already valued that before even knowing anything about the food. The menu was vast and I was impressed with how many delicious-looking choices we had available to us. When our order arrived, I couldn’t believe how good it all was! Each bite absolutely shone throughout everything we tried and I didn’t even need to ask for salt because it was already bursting with flavor. I ordered the mapo tofu soup noodles and my husband ordered the Szechuan chicken. I kept sneaking bites of his food because I couldn’t get enough (I’m a sucker for crunchy veggies, and boy, were they crunchy!). My husband doesn’t even care much for soup but absolutely demolished it with me. We will be returning :)

Delicious lemon chicken and Szechuan beef with rice for lunch. Great flavors and service! Exceeded our expectations. Yum. ~ $10 per person. Oct. 2023. Wish we lived closer.

Very quiet restaurant but very good family spot! I would say because the small size its on the quieter side but food was pretty good for North Cal

This was our second time getting food from here.We ordered hunan chicken, steamed rice, bbq pork noodles and pot stickers.I wish the hunan chicken was a lot more spicier. It was still good but lacked the spice. My husband loved the pot stickers and absolutely hated the bbq pork noodles.Maybe it was just a bad day 🤷🏾‍♀️. Im all for trying this place one more time before we completely cut it out.

The food was prepared fresh and was delicious. Dine-in isnt available yet so the food was taken to-go and I was allowed to wait inside. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. I ordered 5 different items and waited about 15-20min. The pan-fried chicken buns were my favorite. Crunchy at the bottom, bread was soft and the chicken meatball inside was juicy. Ill need to try the pan-fried veggie buns next time I go. The dumplings are juicy and the dumpling sauce is very garlicky and delicious.My dad really loved the teriyaki chicken and even poured the sauce over his rice.

Hmmmmmm,Positives: Honey Walnut Shrimp, Fried wontons, fried rice, Lemon Chicken, service/staff, quickly made foodDownside: hot n sour soup, friend rice, lemon chicken.I know I listed a few things in both categories allow me to explain. First thing first the restaurant appears clean, staff was quick to greet us and seat us. The staff was friendly and provided great service. The food was delivered to the table a very reasonable time after placing our order, the hot and sour soup or sweet and sour soup as they kept referring to it had a different flavor and consistency then Im used to but it was still good, the fried wontons are nothing like you maybe used to at other restaurants but again were very good. We ordered the seafood fried rice which had good portions of seafood however the rice itself seemed to be lacking flavor luckily they have a very good hot sauce on the table and that was enough good flavor to add. There are many options on fried rice so may have to try a different one next time. The lemon chicken had great flavor was lightly breaded and the chicken was cubed which made my wife happy. The downside to the chicken was it seemed dry and over cooked, another review said the chicken was over cooked as well. Maybe they should turn the work down a little when cooking chicken.Unfortunately for the owner while we were there some kids kept prank calling the business and he was responding to them in ear shot of us and other patrons and he was going along with them and saying yes he served dog, cat and birds. I knew what was going on but maybe he would do better handling those in the back out of ear shot of the customers. I dont ding him any stars in this review for this.It is a place we will revisit, not the best in town in our opinion and not the worst. We look forward to trying other dishes.

Dont let the location fool you! The food here is very good. Its small and tucked away, but everything we have eaten here has been perfectly prepared and delicious. The price is reasonable as well😊

BEST CHINESE IN THE US. Awesome service. Was staying in town for a few nights and for dinner, half of our meals were eaten here. Ingredients so fresh they probably grew the plants and raised the animals in the time we ordered to the time we sat down. Definitely a hidden gem. Come to Colorado!! (Not to mention amazing prices)

I stopped in to get some dinner and try this place out. Got the #101 the pot roast noodles. It was alright but I think the corona pandemic has ruined it by requiring them to have to pack it up for carry out. I will be back to try something else soon.

We tried 4 dishes all excellentReal good authentic experience. Will definitely dine again the menu is expansive. Im sure you will find something you love.
