Was mislead by their name and thought this was a noodle house, but was surprised to find out they serve great Hunan dishes! All the dishes were yummy. Also learned they grow their own peppers! Service was super fast. Like their decor too.

A solid Chinese rice noodle / mifen house. Ordered the spicy beef mifen / rice noodle soup and it didn’t disappoint! The beef came in good portion - dry but flavorful and tasted like jerky.The only downside was the soup was extremely oily so it was a bit too much at the end for me to drink the soup.

Love the energy of this place. First of all, love the variety of food. Second, phenomenal tasting Chinese food. One of the best in the Valley! Lastly, love their service. We went with 20 people and could not be happier!!! Can’t wait to keep returning.

Delicious Chinese food and pretty authentic flavors. The kongfu boiled fish fillet with hot chili was pretty standard and flavored. Steamed scallop had very good garlic flavor. Highly recommend The boiled vegetables with preserved egg, which was very special and tasty. It was made from broth but not oily. The hams and eggs inside also added unique tastes. We also had beef hot pot before, which is one of their signature dishes and it was very tasty. Overall the prices are not the best among Chinese restaurants but you get really good portions.

I used to like this place a lot but I think their food quality has declined.The spicy beef noodle had little flavor or seasoning in the broth. The beef was spicy and it was so hard like a jerky.Spicy beef dish was ok but lack flavor.

Would try and stretch this place to put four stars for the variety of good food selection, restaurant set up and service.Everything ordered was delicious and had its own distinct taste. Please check the spice level of each dish before ordering and ask for the ones you will be able to tolerate.Would highly recommend chicken wings, calamities and beef as appetizers to share.Very good quality furniture has a nice set up to keep the distance during pandemic. Staff is staying busy and sometimes are missed however do give you enough attention to satisfy the needs.Will absolutely come back with occasion.

Rice noodles are delicious. All the meat is freshly cooked, then put on the rice noodles. A little disappointed is braise beef brisket is a little hard, may need more time to stew.

Delicious noodles! Spicy and flavorful. Really loved eating here. The only caveat Id mention about this place is that when we visited, for some inexplicable reason they had the AC blasting and it was freezing cold inside! ☃️ Really wished I wouldve brought my sweatshirt. Nonetheless, the noodle bowls we got were fantastic. Totally recommend this place! You will be satisfied!

Excellent authentic Chinese Hunan food, in a decent ambiance. Try the spicy lotus root, pickled long beans and fish with green pepper. There are several mushroom dishes which are great, if you love mushrooms. The restaurant is bright and airy. The staff are attentive and friendly. Come here because you love spicy food.

The most authentic Hunan restaurant in the bay area. Most dishes on the menu are tasty. The following is a few of my favorites: Beef and Wild Green Pepper Stir Fry 野山椒牛肉， Hunan Style Sauteed Beef 家乡炒牛肉， Lamp Spine with Radish Hot Pot 麻辣羊蝎子火锅，Dry Cooked Organic Cauliflower with Smoked Pork 有机花菜炒腊肉. The food here reminds of the restaurant in Hunan. You cannot go wrong with these dishes on the menu even for the take out. But dinning in is even better.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in South Bay area. The owner just remodeled the entire space, it looks so beautiful and clean . The spicy beef stir fry, the chicken with peanut are very tasty . Deep fried Beef filet is very yummy . I would come back very often .

I love Noodle Talk. One of the best Chinese restaurants I have been to since moving to CA. Nice ambience and absolutely delicious food. The sauteed fern with organic green pepper is the best I have ever had. I highly recommend this Chinese restaurant to you. They serve the dishes very quickly and the service is excellent. The dishes here taste so good, if you love spicy food. You must try it out! One thing I just knew about them, is they sell take to home to cook Szechuan style Chinese bacon and Chinese sausage. The smoky flavor of the Chinese bacon is so aromatic, the sausage is spicy and flavorful, loved them!

I was sorely disappointed by the entrees served at this place. I liked my experience at the original Noodle Talk in Sunnyvale, and expected this place to serve authentic dishes that taste juicy, spicy, and flavorful with a salty punch just like my hometowns food.However, the three dishes I ordered were all disappointing. They tried to recreate the Changsha flavor palette with too much or too little of one ingredient. The Green Pepper with Fried Pork had too many peppers and too little pork. The peppers werent meaty enough to soak up oil. The soy sauce also wasnt the right amount.The fried intestines were soggy and greasy and had none of the fatty texture Hunan style intestines should have.Prices were a bit on the expensive side, especially considering their quality.Overall:Pros:- environment is nice- serves fastCons:- subpar food- pricy

Great restaurant for authentic Sichuan-style Chinese food! Its best to go with a group of friends to try different dishes such as fish filet with hot chili, pork ribs, pig kidney, pork intestine and pig blood etc. Make sure to specify the spicy level when ordering your dishes as they may come out VERY spicy!

Sorry guys (from a fellow restaurant owner), I really was hoping to enjoy this… but if I ask for no bean sprouts, my dish shouldn’t come out as 30% bean sprouts.I ended up eating it by picking out the noodles… Kitchen closed already and I didn’t have time to go back.I’m allergic to soy, and bean sprouts make my throat itch and feel tight for hours.Flavor was good. Chicken juicy and noodles were the thin chewy/melty kind. Like 上海面 from the refrigerated noodles sections at Chinese supermarkets.Unfortunately overall not great experience. The two downsides for Noodle Talk are: 1) It took about 12 minutes for the waiter to take my order and that is too long; 2) Noodle Talk chose to play rock music, which is unpleasant to my ears and hardly appropriate for a Chinese restaurant; at least they kept the volume relatively low.With assistance from the waiter, I chose Hunan Style Sauteed Beef, which was quite enjoyable. The beef was good quality, the flavor was tasty, and it was medium spicy, which is perfect for my palate.I am hardly an expert, but the menu seems to be more authentic from China and less Americanized. Whether that is good or bad depends entirely on the customer, of course.The décor is attractive.The is plenty of street-level parking in front of the restaurant or in front of the other nearby businesses.The address is listed as 4546 El Camino, Los Altos. But Noodle Talk does not face El Camino; rather it faces San Antonio.

They are quiet busy during lunch, but serving still good. They do have rice platters and noodle soup, good for people who in the rush during lunch time. Otherwise, they have plenty choice of dishes. Its the best restaurant I have ever been to! Their food options are fantastic - its very authentic Hunan taste. In addition, the waiters are very kind-hearted and welcoming. I have organized a few events over there and they always managed to accommodate all of us. We had group sizes ranging from 10 persons to 30 persons and they managed to do it all. They have a private room for about 15 persons to be able to talk and hear the conversations, and also they have this upstairs place which is good for a party at a size of 30. Sometimes I have special requests for events and Tony is the guy to talk to to get help. Just try the food and youll love it!

Find this restaurant near my friend work place. The food here is pretty tasty. They serve spicy Hunan cuisine, if you like spicy food, then this is a definitely a good choice for you. Me and my friend ordered honey lotus root, smoked sausage (home made), Stir-Fry cabbage and Hunan style sauteed beef. We like all of these dishes, specially the smoked sausage, I really love it.They have some noodle soup here as well. Will come back to taste it next time.

We ordered the braised pork and the numbing spice fish fillet. Both dish were supposed to be flavorful but they tasted quite the opposite. The fish soup came in big portion but the size of braised pork was very disappointing. We placed the to-go order before they close and that just was not a good idea. With the same price (~ $60 for two dishes and no rice) I’d rather go to Chef Chu or Taste or Shanghai Bistro.

Chinese fast food that’s oily and tasty. Typical for hunan region. After ordering, food materialized in 3 minutes! They got the order wrong and charged us for 4 items. We ordered 3 only. Service is bad,.. don’t think they listened to what we ordered.Noodles in the soup was not hand made but machine made. Nonetheless it was ok.Favored by Chinese as most everyone here spoke mandarin. To be honest, this is the most popular Hunan Cuisine Noodle restaurant in Bay Area. The manager is super nice to us and we did had great time there. Noodle Talk is my favorite place for noodles; I love all their noodle dishes without soup. Their fish and lamb etc are also good. IMO noodles here are way more tasty than the ones advertised heavily on social media (e.g. Yum Noodle, Xiaoxiang, Changan Noodle, or Mifen 101...). The only problem is they do not have doordash/ricepo delivery anymore and I am too lazy to dine in/pick up... :(((

The menu is generic these days. I hardly can spot one dish that isnt offered in other trending restaurant. The flavor is so-so. The worst part is the service. My family ordered the noodles (round). The person handling order is extremely impatient. His body language says so because he couldnt help but glance around every few seconds. The order was taken wrong, of course. The rude waiter just dump the wrong order into the bin making loud noise right next to us. Then he came back tell us the noodles are sold out, unapologetically. When l left, I noticed the small rock fountain decorations is out of order. Im not sure what kind of management disaster is happening here. I dont think I will ever come back again and surely I will tell my friends to not come here.

This was our first and last time in this restaurant, it was my birthday and my family took me there because we love chinese food but we were so disappointed with everything there. Zero customer service, no details in menu, we asked for mofu tofu which is our favorite food and their mofu tofu was the worst one we have ever ate, when we asked the server, he came like he was ready to argue LOL. He told us this is the traditional mofu tofu but nothing was written in menu like TRADITIONAL, we didnot eat at all🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 Overall all the dishes were terrible. All the employees are very loud and unprofessional, no greetings no nothing, they just stand there and make a very annoying noise and didnt even enjoy to sit over there and spend time with family. I really like the food! i almost go there 3-4 times a week! and i invited my friends to go and try! they all like the food!this restaurant is mainly cooking dish and some nood soup! They have beef, lamb, pork, chicken, frogs, and seafood! each meat has several different type of ways to cook! Most of them are spicy, some dish you can ask for nonspicy! Suitable for everyones taste!Their frog diah is very unique, and it is the one i order every time! they also have green bean drink on summer which is popular!

This place is serious Hunan Chinese food. They serve it in metal warmers or heavy bowls, and its prepared with proper spices-- you wont find Generals Chicken here.We ordered a veggie dish that had lotus bulbs and a fish soup dish with cilantro and Sichuan peppercorn. Both were great except for the intense amount of oil used. Next time, well see if we can get food with less oil. Last, you have to buy rice separately, and they serve a lot in a little bowl. I would have expected extra dishes than a plate as it is a lot easier to eat rice with veggies, soup and meat that way.Great place thats popular, so get there early. Enjoy the food and be careful of oil.

If I could rate this place a 0, I would because not only did two of my coworkers see bugs in their tea, but as we were packing up our food, a coworker noticed a nail hidden among the honey crispy chicken. It looked a bit rusty to me too, but I’m not sure if it’s the sauce. I wish I had gotten a photo for evidence, but our immediate reaction was to call the waitress, who whisked the tainted chicken away. She didn’t even offer to revise our bill after these incidents, which didn’t surprise me because the service from the get-go was subpar.tl;dr go to another restaurant.
