Noodle World Jr. in Montclair

I have had noodle world at one if it’s first locations in Alhambra area, and remember when they opened near Arrow, I was quite happy. I didn’t know they got a spot in the Montclair mall, but glad they are here now, as I believe it has some of the best food in the mall. Of course you do need to know what to order, and a from my experience you can never go wrong with some of its original dishes.FoodThe beef with rice, a classic is packed with flavor, and the pad see yew had “wok hey” and was just as tasty. The prices are just a bit more than I expected but giving it is in a mall, I imagine the rent would be quite high.When I visited it seemed like they were training a new cashier, but they were quite fast taking and making the order. I wonder if the spicy spaghetti is just as good as the other locations. Can’t wait to find out next time.

There were some very uncomfortable issues from my companys dish that I was not happy, yet she did not want to return her meal back to the counter. Bits of other material were in her food, and according to her older meat, it was added to her dish. She did show me what she was talking about, and I was not happy. My meal seemed okay but after seeing hers I no longer feel comfortable getting another meal there. I hope in the future they make sure that all pans are cleared before they start a new meal. Or I hope this is not a retaliation for not adding a tip that should not have been asked at the initial start of a service... 1 star....

Ordered the pad Thai and it was terrible. I’m not a picky eater and I also wasn’t expecting seated dine in restaurant level nice but it was truly abhorrent. It was extremely wet goop oil. The chicken was gray which meant it was either cooked and left out for a long time, or it’s going bad. There was parts of the meal really warm and a piece of chicken cold. The egg looked like wet threads, like the way it does in soup. Probably and old meal thrown into a pan or microwave for a few minutes. Don’t eat here, just get boba

Such a gem in a mall food court! The server was courteous, and our food came out quickly. She did mention that during the weekend it could take a little bit of time since they freshly make all the entrees, so be warned.My pad see ew was delicious! Definitely exceeded my expectation from a mall food court. Portion size is huge too!The boba drink comes in a cute plastic bottle with a lid. The boba was really soft though. I would have preferred a little more chewiness.Overall a solid place! Will try something else here next time I visit, but will probably skip the boba.

Spencer misunderstood garlic noodles by drunken noodles. My bad for not supervise the cashier work.I didnt like the drunken noodles so I throw them to the trash 😠.The milk tea was good.

Sooo yummy!!! I usually get the garlic noodles and add shrimp. Very good portions. Tried their drunken noodles, also added shrimp to it and they were delicious as well and spicy 😋

The drunken noodles are delicious. The staff is friendly but understaffed. So be patient when waiting for food. Also, they do not take apple pay or Samsung pay. Wish they would. Otherwise, get the drunken noodles.

Somehow we decided to eat at this place on saturday 3/27/23. It was really gross. Food was expensive, very bland and very very greasy. Not to mention that we found hair in our food and they refused to give us our money back. Dont go to this place....ever.

Ive eaten here twice in the last month. Each time, the food was great. I especially enjoyed the Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp.

I got the chicken noodle Bowl And I was disappointed because there was no Roasted garlic in it Because thats flavor to it and I got a boba milk tea It wasnt good at all like water down cheap. I would have gave 0 stars to it but I cant so I get one.
