The food was super delicious. I had the Teriyaki beef plate. I loved the flavor of the beef and it was a great texture. The Mac salad was great. Much better than L&L Hawaiian Barbecue! I recommend giving it a try. It’s a small gem in woodland.

Non local, quick stop for a bite to eat . Stopped here and Noodles can be made as spicy you like. Both orders were Thai Chicken, super tasty and spicy. Must ask for it to be made extra spicy . Traveling from out of town, limited choices in this neighborhood but we saw a couple of reviews so thought we would try it out. The online menu attracted us but the prices were 40-50% higher once we arrived at the restaurant. The food did not taste good to me, although the portions were generous. One order was specifically requested NO SPICE but the noodles were so spicy my husband couldn’t eat them. Waste of money for us, as we ate very little of the food. We also put our order in and two people who came in after us were out the door before we were, just not a good experience all around for us. Seek out another restaurant even if you have to drive a bit further.

Portions are okay, price has gone up exponentially like everywhere else. The food is mid but consistant, might give you a bellyache, hit or miss, but will definitely give you heartburn... Sometimes worth it... the honey sauce is 😙👌🔥 Only go 1-2 times a year so 🤷🏻‍♂️

THE FOOD IS GOOD, BUT the restaurant looks dirty, and the ceiling looks to be falling apart even though it may not be, but it looks like it. They need to remodel that place. Its super busy and expensive. They should have the funds to invest in that place. Service is good, nice people and again the food is great!

This place is always hit or miss, sometimes its so yummy but the other half of the time we regret getting it, usually with the meat being extremely chewy. Today was definitely one of those times I regretted it. I opened the container and saw the litte black charcoaled peice but its so small I didnt think anything of it, first few bites of my salmon were good than the whole thing tasted burnt, couldnt eat the rice either as the whole thing tasted burnt! Im not sure what happened the food looks fine visually but definitely didnt taste good.

Food is a 3 and customer service a 0. They use old oil to fry tempura, so I dont recommend it. We ordered 3 entrees and asked for no Mac salad and only tossed, and they gave us only Mac and no tossed. We called to ask if the food could be remade since it was their error and the manager acknowledged that they made a mistake, but said they could not remake the food since we took it out of the restaurant--it was a to-go order. Please consider trying L&L instead as this restaurant is not the same with the new ownership.

I ordered the dinner special of teriyaki chicken and Thai chicken. Service was fast for the time of day, about 15-20 minutes. The website said the price was 11.19 per plate. After ordering by phone and picking up In the restaurant I payed 30.69 because the prices are incorrect on the website. The rice was okay, potstickers were really tasty. Both the teriyaki and spicy chicken were very dry and overcooked. Mac salad was bland and dry. The side “salad” was just chopped up lettuce. For $15 just go to L&L Hawaiian or Osaka in town. Much better than this place.

Their tempura and their sesame chicken are excellent. Would recommend. However, their calamari needs work. Same with their macaroni salad and marinated veggie mix. The TV is too loud. Also, your mileage may vary as to whether it’s in a good location. Still, it’s okay overall.

I love the food here. My complaint is the phone. The evening shift often doesn’t answer the phone. It’s hard to place an order. I’ve had to drive there an place my order in person only to get an attitude back from the person at the register. Phone orders would be easier, but no! Still have to wait 30+ minutes for the food to be ready.

Honestly it isnt the same as before. I dont live nearby anymore but when a family member is, I ask them to bring me some. Sometimes the chicken is over cooked or burnt. The only reason I still order is because the girl that works there puts in a lot of effort to make things right. Her name is Gabby and she is super efficient and is the only one I want taking my order. I give her 10 stars but 4 for the place that is not so good anymore.

Well this places used to be really good but Ive went a good amount of times and wasnt satisfied. They raised prices but give less amount of food. The noodles dont have all the veggies its supposed to have. I called to complain that my noodles only had cabbage and sprouts. It only had 2 small pieces of zucchini. All she kept saying was sorry. The macaroni salad doesnt taste as good as before. I hope they go back to the taste they use to have.

We stopped there on our way to Sacramento international airport. It was very clean, and it was very sanitized. They use very good fresh ingredients it was extremely crowded when we were there. Masks were required it seemed to be the place to go when youre in woodland as people were coming in and out in and out all night long.There are only three to four tables in the tiny little building so you may want to get your food to go or ask them if they can put some tables outside because it gets a little confined in there while youre trying to eat..If you are staying in woodland overnight because you need to catch a plane out of SMF, this is a good place to stop and get some dinner or lunch....

My son and I ordered food on 5/11/2021 at 8:35 pm. He had sesame chicken and I ordered the veggie noodles which I specifically said MILD and what do they give me SPICY that I CANNOT eat because my stomach CANT have spicy food. Then I call to tell them and they are CLOSED. Do you all not comprehend ENGLISH? Why do you ask a customer what they want if your not going to write it down? Is it pure LAZINESS because your about to close and could careless about what a customer wants. You ask the customer if they want mild, medium or spicy and I told you MILD. This is why I stopped coming to this food establishment. I dont know why I expected ANYTHING to be different with the service. This place use to be good when it was actually owned by a Hawaiian who actually took pride is serving ONO food. Now its ran by Mexicans who dont know squat about cooking good AUTHENTIC Hawaiian food. The Spicy Chicken & Thai Chicken special for lunch was great (And you get a lot of chicken!) and they had some imported drinks like Kona coffee with milk. The food here is great! The Hawaiian style plates are the best and come with the entree like chicken or beef, mac salad, rice and other stuff. Reasonably priced, too! Ono is located in a really weird place though -- kind of tucked in with office-warehouse spaces in a less-popular part of Woodland. Ono is the only thing happening on that block. Also, generally the employees are friendly, but Ive been on the receiving end of a bad attitude a couple of times there.

Food is good. Just know that if you like it with only a tiny bit of spicey, do not get the spicy sauce when they ask you. They will ask you if you want the spicy sauce mild, med, hot or no spicy sauce. I like a small kick, so I asked for mild, but the mild was extremely hot. They were VERY nice when I asked if I could have it redone without the sauce. They redid my food without the spicey sauce (bc it was so hot I couldnt eat it), and, again, they were very nice about it.

They offer daily specials for lunch and dinner. Combinations are listed, but you can easily develop your own choices for combinations. Prices are very reasonable as are their hours of operation. I suggest that you check out their website and order ahead. Preparation of your order will take around 20-30 minutes. They serve bottled soft drinks, water and beer as well as fountain drinks. I wanted to get a little extra added onto my prepared lunch, leftover flank steak and quinoa. I decided to get teriyaki. The lunch plate with the BBQ short rib with 2 servings of macaroni and 1 rice was perfect. The teriyaki sauce I placed over my leftovers was enough to curb my cravings, but the surprise was taking the plate home. Wow. Just a little heating up and I was blown away by the flavors that came out. Definitely something I needed after the long day I had. Thank you for the service provided. Meh. Ive only been here once and only tried the sesame chicken. Its a Hawaiian-style BBQ/Japanese restaurant in a business park. The food I tried was nothing to rave about, but it wasnt bad either. It was not overly sweet, greasy, or salty, but it also wasnt very flavorful. The macaroni salad was the best part of the meal. Ive got to give them credit for the chicken actually seeming like real chicken (some of these teriyaki places serve that flattened, stringy stuff you wonder if its really chicken or not, but this chicken was obviously real chicken and moist). Since its close to my office and open fairly late, Ill probably eat here again, but I probably wouldnt drive out of my way to do so otherwise.
