This is a really great Olive garden location. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you out, the food was delicious and prepared well, and the dining area is well kept and clean. One of the staff members mentioned that this is the largest olive garden in California. I tried the eggplant parmesan and it was delicious, the eggplant is prepared with care and almost melts in your mouth. As always the breadsticks are delicious and the salad was great too! I would recommend the chocolate cheesecake dessert.

Fast casual chain located in the Manhattan Beach Mall area. Came here with a group of 9 and we had a semi-private room. We had put our name down on a Saturday evening and it took about an hour to get a table. There is plenty of parking available. Indoor dining only. Credit cards accepted.They have the ongoing supply of breadsticks and salad/minestrone soup. They do have other soup options (including a cream based option - a Tuscan soup or other). Our waiter was nice and the staff was helpful in checking in for water refills. I had a hearty portion for my chicken and shrimp pasta - there was plenty for two servings of leftovers the following day. We tried the brownie lasagna, strawberry shortcake, and tiramisu since three people in our group were celebrating birthdays, and they were kind enough to put little candles and sing “Happy Birthday” alongside us. Truly a spot to feel like family alongside the multiple groups of people looking to indulge in the breadsticks and pasta carb fest.

We had no wait on this past Tuesday evening, were promptly greeted and seated. Our order was taken within minutes of sitting. We ordered the calamari and spinach-artichoke dip for appetizers. That came first along with bread sticks, my salad that came with my entree, and my daughters chicken & gnocchi soup that came with her entree. Then we had the spaghetti and lasagna for entrees. I also ordered the Bellini peach raspberry iced tea. The food was nice and hot when received, it was delicious and flavorful. The young lady that served us was great, very friendly and helpful. And even the manager made rounds and stopped at our table twice during our visit to make sure everything was okay. Definitely will return and recommend.

I was there for my birthday and we always have a great time here - Tour of Italy, calamari, spinach dip. Great service - we had about 9 people on a Saturday night after Thanksgiving. I like it because its something for everyone - very young to very old and anywhere in-between. Vegetarians and even lactose intolerant 😄 great for families.

Olive Garden seems to be a consistent okay experience if youre looking for a decent pasta. Their calamari appetizer had the right flavor but the pieces came out soft instead of crunchy, feeling warmed up rather than just freshly cooked. The pasta I ate had a good flavor but it also suffered that just warmed feeling and that couldnt escape my mind. The Italian Margarita for $9 is alright but really becomes good when you add the $2 patron add on. Nothing memorable, nothing disappointing. Its just Olive Garden: the Italian restaurant you go to when you dont know any other Italian restaurants in the area.

Overall good experience. Havent been in awhile and new to this branch out in Manhatten Beach. Service was slow in the beginning but picked up after ordering. Of course the free bread is always yummy. Ordered 2 entrées which comes with soup or salad, appetizer and one kids menu item. Food was good, not great, but good. Of course being a mega chain restaurant, the service and food is consistent, or it should be, so thats always a plus.

When it comes to Olive Gardens, this one lives up to the hype. I attended a group get together where the breadsticks were perfectly toasted and served as the perfect starter for all of us to break bread.Comradery filled the air not only from all the guests but also the wait staff. Atmosphere was great and the lighting was phenomenal, not to bright but not to dim.Applebees, eat your heart out. This Olive Garden is bringing an Italian infusion to your neighborhood bar and grille.

For my 1st time at Olive Garden, thanks to Joan (the manager), it was an amazing experience, the service was fast and efficient while also caring. She really made my partner and Is day with the energy she brung, made us feel special for our birthdays and the attentiveness to us and others that were dining there. Compliments to the chef and the other staff was well and everyone was friendly and the food was great, had to take some back. When I do go back to LA I will be going to this branch for Olive Garden again!

Hadnt been here for 6yrs. Just moved back in town and decided to go. There was a bit of delay being seated though it was not busy. The table was small for four people, especially because we ordered a lot of dishes. Ziti Fritta tasted like a dish from the frozen section at the store, but it was okay. Shrimp fritto is pretty good. Toscana soup was mediocre, minestrone was very good, and chicken and gnocchi soup was okay, very light. The plates are not unique, everything looks kind of the same, but it’s a franchise, so it’s fine. The main dishes were okay, but we wouldn’t characterize them as super delicious. The place doesn’t feel very welcoming in a way because it cannot really compete with more unique restaurants. The waiter was fairly attentive, but not very friendly. Everything is brought fairly quickly, even though there were a lot of customers. Overall, this restaurant is mediocre, but our experience was okay.

I havent been to this restaurant ever before but I havent been to Olive Garden in years, this restaurant was a phenomenal place to go for a long dinner with large groups. I had an excellent time. Drinks were served back to back, salads and plates, and all service was extremely helpful. The meals themselves were delicious, and I had the Tour of Italy and Seafood Misto as an appetizer, also spinach dip. Delicious and I would recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting to try it out. Any parties larger than 20 are great here, and the staff and servers were exceptional.

I decided to take a break on Asian food for a week and tried Italian food, N O R E G R E T S! 😎Upon arrival, I had one party ahead of me and was seated after 15 minutes (the place was pretty packed). Waiter was nice and patient in explaining the menu as this was my first time coming to any Olive Garden branch (I didnt know they are a multichain restaurant prior to my visit here).Anyhow, when I started ordering, the first thing I noticed about this place is that all of their soup dishes 🍲 and salads 🥗 are free refills! I immediately thought, Wow! I mean I have heard of free water/tea refills but soup dishes and salad? Impressive! 👏🏼We ordered:- Shrimp Scampi -> First time hearing Angel hair, so wanted to see if the name is only half the story and I was impressed with the texture. The Shrimp were fresh, tender and most of all seafood smell was not present. The sauce on this dish was a tad bit sour/ salty (maybe thats how scampis are? Weird combination, but I thoroughly enjoyed it nonetheless)!- 6oz Sirloin -> The dish I was most looking forward to! I got my steak cooked to medium-well. The meat seasoning felt just right. Texture was tender and juicy. The pasta that came along with it was creamy but it was alright (probably because the steak was too good).I would recommend this place if you want to try an Italian/American fine-dining experience! 🤤

I really wish I could wholeheartedly give this place a five star rating, because the food was super delicious and absolutely worth five stars. However, our experience with the waiter we had was not that great.In my opinion, the waiter we had wasn’t service-minded and didn’t actually put the customers service needs or wants first, which they usually do. At first, before we had ordered anything, he came to check in on us multiple times and asked if we had decided what we wanted to order. Time after time, we said we hadn’t and asked if we could have five minutes since one of us came later than everyone else - and therefore hadn’t had the chance to look at the menu or chat with us. He said “of course” and walked off, but came back almost immediately. This made us, of course, stressed since he never let us properly and calmly read the menu. We hadn’t even been there for too long either. We sat at our table for maybe six minutes, counted from the time we sat at the table to when we ordered, and under those minutes he asked if we “had decided yet” 4-5 times.After we had order our food and drinks, we waited for a few short minutes. I would say the food came pretty quickly, maybe 20-25 minutes from the moment we ordered and since we had a few appetizers those minutes passed by pretty quickly. Something that wasn’t really good though, was the fact that we got our drinks after our appetizers so we had to eat it “dry”. Even though it’s not something extremely important, it wasn’t really that great to eat without drinking anything.An important note for the following situation is that I don’t drink, but it happened to my group and therefore affected me/my experience. Three of my friends ordered a glass of wine each to their meal. When our waiter came back and poured them a glass of wine, he asked us to buy an entire wine bottle instead because it would be “better economically for the company”. My friends said that they didn’t want to buy a bottle, because they intended on only having one glass. Suddenly he (the waiter) appeared a little upset and wasn’t as friendly, didn’t smile anymore etc. I just think it’s weird and sort of unprofessional that he even said that we should buy a bottle, only because it would be better for them - the company, Olive Garden. On top of that, I think it’s weird that his smile dropped when they didn’t want the entire bottle and that he didn’t give us a smile after that. It could have been a coincidence, but I think it was a weird timing.The food, however, was super good. My group shared the breadsticks and Meatballs Parmigiana for our appetizer. I chose the Chicken Alfredo as my entrée and it really delicious. I wish the kitchen gets the recognition they deserve!To summarize… I would definitely give the food a 5/5 star rating. The service, however, is what’s pulling the overall rating down. Our waiter would have gotten 2/5 stars, but the other waiters/waitresses I was in contact with (they delivered some of our orders, greeted us, showed us our table etc..) was super nice and thereby elevated the service experience. So, the overall rating for this restaurant is a 3/5 stars.

We love to come here for the soup and bread sticks!! Not to mention the PASTA!! Always the same quality consistency!!! Sometimes the service is not consistently good though...... One the they use to help speed up the check out process though, is their little kiosks on each table..... They are good for the kids to play games on(for a nominal fee) and you can pay by credit card /debit card.... It even tells you the different % of tipping amounts based on your check amount to make it super easy! Plus you can leave any comments or suggestions you have for them.We have been here many times and we always keep coming back! A quick shout out to our FAVORITE server.... Ricardo Garcia!! He is a cut above the rest and has you feeling like you just stepped into a fine dining restaurant!! With him taking care of you, you wont have to flag anyone down, or wait for anything ! He provides top level service and is a big part of why we keep coming back!!! Hire more servers like him!

This Olive Garden in particular was very lively, the food was delicious, but the best part was the service. ELMER was our server (but not originally).....we were waiting for a while and Elmer came by, to ask if we have already been helped. When we said no, he decided to step in and take our order. The only good thing manager fast to resolve problems, but I don’t know if service or food but our food was cold and pasta dry and the thing the plate it was very hot “funny” and took time to be served, I mean I understand it’s busy, plus after when we got the food I know kitchen may get mad to have dishes to be returned (this was meat sauce) I ask my server and some else for something never got to the table. First time here but will not come back again. The waiter has an attitude and shows no professionalism. Our salad was not fresh. Part of the lettuce was black. (Ewwww) The soup was normal. But the bread stick is good. Moving on to entrees - the trio was a good try but not excellent. The steak pasta was overpriced and tasted weird. Give it a miss, especially this outlet. There are better places around for Italian food.

My wife and I still love Olive Garden even though some might call it the El Torito of Italian food but I dont care. Service is usually very good at this location. If youre looking for the Dennys of Italian food, Olive Garden is it. They always seem to please the Italian fix with a clean and pleasant environment. The endless breadsticks and salad are a crowd favorite. The pasta itself is ok. If anybody has ever actually been to Italy and had real pasta, then you know what I mean. However with that being said, it still pleases with a combination of ambience, service, and familiarity that we have all grown to enjoy. Be prepared to wait long times during peak hours during the weekend

So first of all the waitress we had she was very good. She was attentive. She brought her food to us. It was exactly what we ordered now to the fun stuff. So when we arrived first of all the table was dirty and I asked the front table if they could have someone come and clean it. Then I went and asked the second time if someone can come and clean it then I went the third time and since I had to ask a third time I asked for a simple rag that was soaked. So I can go ahead and wipe off my own table since they couldnt get someone to come clean it the fourth time I went up and talked to them. The manager was up there and they asked has somebody clean my table and I said apparently not because I was up here to get a washcloth to clean my own table and they said theyll send somebody and I said no. Just give me a washcloth. Itll get done much faster and better. So I finally got to washcloth. I cleaned the table. No one apologized. No one said nothing. Everybody. All seven people sitting at the front table just sat there talking and didnt do it. Darn thing including the manager.

I have visited several Olive Gardens the food is usually very tasty and the service is typically great. Unfortunately at this location that was not the case. The service started out fine but then the food arrived the soup was not chopped like it typically is and the taste was weird the chicken Gnocchi soup was over cooked the dumplings were of a weird texture but the salad was fine. Then the entrees arrived and they were extremely salty which made me super thirsty but our server kinda just disappeared and never came back to check on our table or if the food was okay. Eventually we waved a different server down so we could get some water and the dessert we had ordered to go. This is the first time I am very disappointed at any Olive garden in the area. We used the tablet to pay and even our receipt printed blank.

Olive Garden is always a good idea if you enjoy Americanized Italian food. Their salads are great to share and are endless. The pasta & Co dishes are generous in amount. I would recommend not to stuff yourself and ask for a doggie bag, because their Tiramisu is delicious and worth trying.

I visited on December 12, I had returned to get a plate of food after I was not satisfied with the quality of the last. I met the manager, a very kind lady who told me she was filling in at this location. Her name was Jodi. She was kind enough to fix my order, apologize for the inconvenience, and even brought it out by herself. I have never been treated like this before. It really touched me. It’s a nice Italian restaurant to visit from time to time. Coming from Europe, I find that their recipes are more adjusted to the American culture. I’m just disappointed! I went there with my family to have a nice dinner and we order four meal plates. We usually go there for a nice dinner but this time was very disappointing because our food was not the best. When the waiter brought the salad I had a whole piece of lettuce it was uncut and not mixed in well, it was just a whole piece of lettuce (I have a picture of it), so we asked the waiter to bring us another salad. Didnt put cheese nor ask if we wanted some on the salad, he didnt bring straws, didnt offer basic nessecities. He even forgot to bring the receipt even after we tipped him!!!! I probably would have overlooked the terrible service if he treated his whole section the same. It was clearly evident that he was more comfortable with his people.

Horrible service. Sat there for about 15 min and no one came to take our order, or even our drinks. Servers kept passing by and nothing. Very unprofessional to sit you down and have others served around you while you wait. They had the nerves to say thank you as we were walking out.

We enjoyed our meal even in this new normal of social distancing. Open tables were spaced appropriately, staff wore proper PPE and they wiped everything down before hand.Although Olive Garden does not have an option for reservations, we knew to call ahead. We are glad we did. It was slow and our wait was 10 minutes. Its a popular restaurant so waiting is normally done in your car so park looking away from the sun incase you have a longer wait.The food was hot and delicious. The service, given the limited seating was great. I recommend the experience so long as you call ahead.

Ive been here three times.The first time it took over 90 minutes to conclude lunch due to slow service. The food was not great.The second time still took over an hour to conclude lunch due to slow service. The food was terrible.The third time we visited here, we sat down, received menus, and watched other groups get sat after us and start receiving appetizers before anyone even bothered to come take our drink order. Thats how terrible the service was. We walked out while the staff said thank you! to us because they were so inattentive they didnt realize theyd just left an entire group without service. Im honestly not sure what they were thinking, it was only 11:30 and with their slow service theres no way a group had finished eating by then.I will not go back.

I got seated within 15 minutes which I thought was pretty good for a very busy restaurant. Parking, unfortunately, is at a premium because of more construction so be prepared to walk a bit. It felt as if either the restaurant was short staffed or just had a bunch of new servers. However, with that said the servers really hustled & service was good. Had the chicken parm & it was ok. The chicken gnocchi soup was delicious, as always. All in all, it was a pretty good meal.

Ive been to this Olive Garden a few times. I gotta say, Im just not that impressed. The Sopa Toscana was bland as can be, service was way off, no salt and pepper on any of the tables on. However, the food did come out hot and the staff was very friendly.

I have been to this location twice and both times our entrees took an inordinately long amount of time to come. In fact, by the time our entrees arrived, half of our party said, Ill just take it to go. And they messed up our check so getting that fixed took another 10 minutes. I ordered the Chicken Margherita. Went it finally arrived, it was tasty.

My most recent visit here was fairly pleasant. I got the unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks. The food is good. But I noticed a strange, musty odor when first entering the restaurant. After a while I didnt notice the odor anymore but it is not good thing for a restaurant. On the plus side, I tried the Italian Margarita and it was pretty decent.

Four years ago we had a not so great dinning experience. Friday afternoon we found ourself craving pasta. We decided to give Olive Garden a try. Im so glad we did. The whole experience was 5 star. The food tasted a thousand times better from the last time. I cant wait to go back again. From the mozzarella sticks, salad, bread, shrimp Alfredo and lasagna, everything was perfect.

This Olive Garden was really awesome, especially for being super busy on Mothers Day. We put our name on the list via the web. When we got their the hostess said it would be about 40 mins but it only took about 20 mins, which gave the rest of our party time to arrive. They were going to seat us in the overflow room but because of my legs and feet I couldnt sit in the folding chairs, so they were nice and accommodating enough to get a couple of waiters to move two tables together and give us regular chairs. On top of that all the food was fresh hot and delicious. Our waitress was extremely attentive, took great care with the kids and even brought us fresh fixings to go with our take homes. On a Saturday night you expect a wait for a popular restaurant, so when we were told it would be a 30 minute wait for a table for 4 we were pretty happy. The food was good, very good actually but when we first got there they sat us in a booth and I scooted over to sit closer to my husband and got stabbed with a fork sticking up from the seat. Whoever clean the table before us, didnt do a great job. Told the manager so they can be more careful. She said sorry and walked away.

SAM ALERT: They decided to tip themselves more than what I had on my receipt! Had a horrible experience at this place. It all began when my grandmother ordered a drink but forgot to ask for no ice. We asked before the drink came and she said “it’s already being prepared”. My grandma was sick and they couldn’t just take out the ice. Also she ordered a lasagna and got Alfredo pasta instead. The way they “fix” this is by charging me for a pasta. I gave them a $2 tip and just saw my bank bill an it came with a $5 tip. I usually tip 15% but I don’t think they deserve this. Horrible experience.

I went for dinner with my husband before heading to the airport. I was very excited to go to olive garden since I havent been in a while. 1-We got there around 4p.m. so my husband ordered the early dinner. Somehow the server assumed we were getting the normal portion. He was visibly annoyed when we told him there was an error. 2-Our server didnt seem very knowledgeable about the menu items. We informed him that my husband couldnt have dairy and he assured us that the breeding on the eggplant did not contain any. I asked him again then he went to ask someone in the kitchen who informed him that there was indeed dairy in the breading. 3- the server never came to check on us to see if we needed anything or how our meal was going. I didnt even finish my food, we walked up and paid for our food then left. Even the hosts in the front didnt seem to notice or care about our issue, they were too busy counting money. Nonetheless, Im glad we are just visiting and this is not our local olive garden. I would not recommend that you eat here at all.

My second negative post. Carry out is so slow and disorganized its really hard to believe. Last nights dinner was cold, and had barely any spaghetti sauce on it. I ate half, and called ahead tonight to get more sauce. The person that answered phone said No need to call ahead. Just ask at the desk for sauce. After 10 minutes, girl at front desk pushes a waitress forward from the back room. 20 more minutes and $10 later I finally got more sauce. Do NOT expect prompt carry out. It will not happen.
