Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
2610 N Sepulveda Blvd, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, United States
Overall good experience. Havent been in awhile and new to this branch out in Manhatten Beach. Service was slow in the beginning but picked up after ordering. Of course the free bread is always yummy. Ordered 2 entrées which comes with soup or salad, appetizer and one kids menu item. Food was good, not great, but good. Of course being a mega chain restaurant, the service and food is consistent, or it should be, so thats always a plus.

CPK is a nice restaurant to visit for both lunch and dinner. It has delicious Italian food, including pizzas and pastas, but also serves salads, soups, and meat. The atmosphere is welcoming and the design is very stylish. There are waiting lines sometimes during the busy times (weekend evenings), but mostly you can come without making reservations.

Johnny, Im in Manhattan Beach today where should I go? LOOK NO FURTHER. I DIRECT EVERYONE WITH 2 EARS TO THIS PLACE.It reminds me of what I daydream of when I picture a perfect cafe on the Amalfi coast, a beautiful tasteful interior without being ostentatious. A cafe where everything has a purpose and functionality, and this functionally brings about an effortless simplicity. At one table there is a gentlemen draped in all linen with a white fedora, drinking his coffee reading his newspaper, and at another there is a beautiful couple in their late 20s splitting a croissant, laughing vivaciously just enjoying being in the presence of one another. Ahhhh, young love.Locking back in here, my b.Let me put you on this Honey Lavender Latte, or as Manhattan Beach locals call it, The Elixir of Life. Tbh I dont even like lattes and neither does my brother, but we always get one when we come here. After the latte, the vet move is to order the smoked chipotle tomato bisque soup. This is like the Wayne Gretzky of tomato bisque soups.I went with the Simple Breakfast as I love just that, a simple breakfast. lol. The eggs: perfect, the fruit: fresh, the bacon: delicious, and the bread: pre-buttered. Pre-buttered bread is so mf underrated.I need to shoutout the entire staff for being so welcoming and engaging, they really make you feel right at home. I specifically need to highlight Alexa, who is actually the GOAT. Every restaurant and cafe owner can learn something from her. She has literally everyone in Manhattan Beach thinking she is their best friend, and I mean this in the best way possible. A lot of restaurant owners or managers make the rounds throughout their restaurant, stopping by the table with a forced smile that anyone with a decent EQ can see right through, but not Alexa. It really does feel authentic from her. When I told her I was moving out to Alphabet City in nyc, she had like a 10 minute conversation with me about it and how she loves Alphabet City and she is so excited/jealous. You cant teach this skillset. She loves this cafe and the city and this passion oozes out of her. I for one cant help but be inspired by this level of passion.MANHATTAN BEACH, STAND UP!!!!!

If you are in South Bay/ Manhattan Beach / Los Angeles and love Sushi, sashimi, rice bowls or Ramen, then you MUST visit this small authentic Japanese establishment. Pros: fresh seafood, reasonable prices, friendly service. Cons: husband and wife team so make sure you order in advance for take-out, or come early or during off-peak period; very limited seating. I had tried crunchy Spicy tuna roll, spicy scallops roll, chirashi special mix bowl, spicy miso ramen. I'm very discerning where food is concerned, and I give them 10/10 !
El Amigo

Ive driven by this place so many times. Finally stopped in after seeing reviews and photos. The food lives up to the hype. It was delicious! The chips were fresh and crunchy. The salsa was fresh as well.I had a combo with 2 al pastor tacos & a chicken enchilada. Al pastor flavorful and just the right amount of spicy. The enchilada was good but wasnt as good as the tacos. Dont get me wrong it was good but I liked the other items more. The rice & beans were tasty. The rice was cooked perfectly, not hard or overcooked and flavored just right not salty. The refried beans were tasty and didnt feel heavy. Cant wait to go back and try more items.UPDATE - 2/4/2020I have been here a few more times. One time I switched it up and tried the al pastor Super Burrito with beans rice guacamole & sour cream. It was good especially because of the guacamole but there is something about that taco enchilada combo that draws me back to it. Just know if you go here everything is good you just might find your favorite.
The Arthur J

Okay... this is a interesting one. First off, some of our food came out on the colder side of room temperature, for example the corn soup and the oysters rockefeller. Second, it is a pricey place, though certainly not the most expensive steakhouse in L.A. That said, regardless of the temperature, the food was quite excellent. That corn soup when served hot was delicious! And heres where they earned the 5 stars: the restaurant did everything they could to make things right after the cold food disasters. High praise for Arthur Js patience and professionalism! I would definitely support this place.
Fishing With Dynamite

Just exquisite! I was fortunate to stumble my way to this amazing restaurant. I happened to be in the area to pick up a friend at LAX. Lucky Manhattan Beach. I wish this restaurant was located in Orange County.Let’s talk about the service...one word...Exceptional!! The staff were beyond lovely. The food was beyond delicious. Thank you Chef Alice Mai! You are a genius. I haven’t been this happy in years. From the oysters to the hands down my favorite authentic clam chowder soup to the 1/2 lobster to the fresh salad ...Fishing With Dynamite has to be my Favorite. Thanks for an amazing experience. My palate couldn’t have been happier. As you can tell, I highly recommend Fishing With Dynamite.
FanSea sushi

I dont know if it was getting a tax refund by a CPA across the street that put me in a great mood or if the fact that I walked away thinking, Go to this place for their amazing green beans! But, I felt this place delivered for the 5:00PM to 7:00PM happy hour!Sushi was fresh although I suspect the salmon was ocean trout (darker in color than farm raised Salmon) but the octopus was almost crisp - not at all chewy.Pro tip - make sure to check in! Get a hand roll free!Hand roll seaweed was fresh - crispy and not at all hard to bite through.Drink menu is basic (Asahi fans welcome, Sapporo fans stay at home) but they do have a better selection of wine and saki.Ok, so what really shined here was the details. The ambience makes you feel like youre in an effin Japanese fishing village, the sides got the salivatory glands pumping, and the Happy Hour specials are really worth traveling to one of the nicest places on Earth - just off the south end of El Porto.
Urban Plates
2650 N Sepulveda Blvd, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, United States
This is my first time trying out Urban Plates. I looked up the menu before my visit. I was really drawn to all the ultra healthy menu selections, especially the plethora of gluten-free options, as I am highly allergic. I went in expecting a very transactional experience like you would have at any other fast food restaurant. I couldnt have been more wrong. First impressions, this place is stunning. You can expect to be greeted by a beautiful dining area with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Not to mention a charming fireplace in the outdoor seating area. I picked an open table inside and placed a mobile order. Ten minutes later, the lovely Zaire (the hero of this story) brought me my food, drink, and silverware with the most pleasant attitude. Not only did she check on me to ensure I was enjoying my meal, but she caught me looking around for help at one point and promptly made her way over to assist. There were a couple of people making their rounds, offering water and clearing dishes. All with such kindness! The service here is above and beyond. The food is seriously amazing too. So much so that I devoured it before I could snap a picture ?

PUBLIC BE AWARE - HEALTH HAZARD! I have never eaten here and now my curiousity is gone as well! I watched through Windows from outside handicap spot by99 cent store 2 police officers even went inside ordered food unsuspecting just now left. This may gross you out but from my parking spot I can see direct line of view to the restroom hallway. A male employee came out of restroom and across hall into food area. He was still sending his belt into the clasp. Idk about you but when I am done with THAT PARTICULAR business I do pants belt tick etc etc before I go to wash station. Who washed hands when pants are barely pulled up and buckled? Why they would fall down before you grab soap! Its clear what did not happen at this place but please be warned that food handlers are not watched enough to make sure that hand washing occurs and my stomach is turning as I just barely got over this stomach flu. (Spouse inside 99 getting crackers and ginger ale for unknown stomach upset!)
