Omma Tofu House in Arcadia

Have been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got to eat it for lunch today. I ordered the beef tofu soup (13.99). It was ready in about 15 minutes, which felt a bit long but the taste made up for it. I was so excited to eat that I didnt take enough photos.They were generous with the amount of tofu and the soup was very flavorful. It also comes with purple rice which is nice! The rice was the perfect texture and I almost finished the entire bowl. They also gave many side dishes. I really liked the tofu and bean sprouts side.Their prices are reasonable for the portion and taste. It seems like the tofu soup is cheaper here than at other places. I would come back again to try some other dishes!

The restaurant is in a recently remodeled food court (which has some interesting choices btw). I had tofu soup with dumplings. It was solid and the banchan it came with was tasty and fresh. For $13.99 it’s a good deal and I came away full and satisfied. For food court food, it’s a 5.

I’m Korean and my mom is an incredible cook. I’ve never had food at any other Korean restaurant that was even close to as good as my mothers. EXCEPT this place. It’s consistently delicious, all of it, the soup, the croaker, every single banchan dish is perfect every time. The only one thing I would change about this place is I wish they would offer flavored mineral water, or unsweetened iced tea. I like to have a beverage with my meals but I don’t drink sugary sodas. Other than tho, everything else is fantastic! They give you such high quality food at such a reasonable price. Great place!

Update on 9/13/22First time ordering my food to go and thought the transaction couldn’t have been smoother. Ordered via phone, given an ETA of 15 mins and food was ready when I arrived. Not only was the food delicious, but it was packed really well and made it home nice and warm. I liked the banchan packs too. Four delicious sides to go with my jajangmien, beef tofu and kalbi. All really good and perfectly satisfied my cravings. They even followed instructions perfectly as my GF doesn’t like green onions and they were left off of both the kalbi and tofu soup.————Probably closer to 4.5 stars, but will round up for the great service and free tea. Food was good, really good especially for a food court, but had sit down restaurant prices so expected a little more.Kalbi ribs had great flavors, but were a bit chewy in parts. Not bad, in fact very good, but just a fact - 4 starsTofu soup was some of the best we’ve tried - 5 StarsCold noodles!had a great, but strong beef broth flavor. Not what I am used to, but good. 4.5 starsBanchan - very tasty seaweed salad, potato salad, fish cake, bean sprouts and Kim chi. The location and casual seating allowed us to take our dog and explore a little while we waited.Pro tip - food is made to order so expect to wait at least 15-20 mins. Call ahead or explore the are while you wait. There are other restaurants, a watch repair shop, boba and other little shops in the court and in the shopping center to explore while you wait.

Quick and yummy Korean food. The banchan was good - I loved the seaweed salad. We got the cold noodles combo with galbi, beef short rib soup (broth was not clear, but instead creamy - still very good! Also comes with purple rice), and the dumpling tofu soup (comes with purple rice) combo with spicy grilled chicken. Water and hot water are self serve on the side. There are also extra bowls for those who wish to share or for kids!We enjoyed our dinner and the ladies were very nice!Hope they would add tangsuyuk one day as we would like to get a combo with the jjangmyeon!

The quality of the food here is top notch Korean food I’ve ever tasted in SGV areas, so is the services here. Food is so authentic, fulfilling, and satisfying—no msg and additives added. My family and I are regulars here. We must eat at least once a week. My top favs are galbi, bulgogi, and deep fried croakers fish combo with the seafood spicy tofu soup along with refillable side dishes if dine in.

Love coming to this place. Always great service and great food. My kids love it too. We usually get the Galbi or Grilled Yellow Croaker combo. The mild spiciness is a bit stronger that other places, we usually askfor tiny spicy.

Such, such delicious food that tastes even better with the friendly service. Very good selection of banchan to go with the tofu soup, which has a very flavorful broth. The setting is a humble food court, but the food is top-notch.

This is my new spot for Korean tofu soup. I’ve been going here every weekend since grand opening. The clam tofu soup hits the spot every time. Today, I decided to get an extra item, so I tried the seafood pancake. Oh my, this pancake is so huge and delicious. 🤩😋

If youre looking to grab something refreshing, order the Cold Buckweat Noodle (S11). They provide banchan, and also offer free hot tea and cold water. My hubby was craving something hot so he got the Mushroom Tofu Soup and Short Rib combo.Everything we ordered was delicious and tastes like a home cooked meal.Ill definitely find myself coming back here when Im craving Korean food.
