2023-09-25 11:25:13The moment you enter, you know youre in for a good time. The walls are lined with TV screens surrounding you. The bar is nicely stocked and the robots that deliver your food are pretty cool. The staff members were all kind and attentive. Our food order was placed and, presto, the robot arrived with our orders. In my opinion, Oz Korean BBQ is a great choice. The food, drinks, service, and cleanliness are all tens. Its about an hours drive from where we live. Nonetheless, I will gladly make that trip again and again.

2023-10-07 21:01:01This place is a solid kbbq place. There was nothing we did not like, the cuts of meat were good, and the robot was fast at bringing our stuff. I will say the appetizers were my favorites, the chicken wings were so addicting and saucy!

2023-07-28 20:47:54Loved it. Food was good. The atmosphere was lively. Our waitress was kind and attentive, buuuut maybe a bit forgetful when it came to the kimchi and bean sprouts we asked for. 😅Other than that, it was a good experience. 😁😁

2023-07-01 22:10:54This place has a pub/lounge vibe. It’s a bit dim, nice place to eat with quite a few options for ACYE.Severs are tentative, coming around checking if you need anything else and changing the grill.

2023-10-21 19:36:27Food is good, just like many Korean BBQ, nothing special. Atmosphere is smoky & louder than others Ive been to. Their RSVP system is unreasonable. They will not RSVP of 7 or less ppl. They wont even put you down on wait list.Once you are on the wait list they only hold it for 10min. So if you plan to have lunch at 12:00, dont bother coming in 11:30 or 11:45. You have to RSVP by 11:50. Theyll hold it for 10min only then youll be removed. Altogether your 12 noon lunch, can very well go to 12:30 pm with their system and wait.🤦♀️

2023-09-20 03:01:35I’d ordered takeout from here multiple times and was fairly impressed with the food, though the prices are steep. Took a family friend their for a sit-down dinner and the wait wasn’t terrible. The service left a lot to be desired. When our waitress finally came to the table (took five minutes), she greeted us with “Everyone been here before?” Not the warmest greeting, but, whatever. When we informed her this was our first time, she made no attempt to explain the menu or process, just asked what we wanted. After fumbling through our order, she cranked our grill up so high that it immediately started smoking and left. First round of food was fine - though I did have to flag her down for refills after noticing she was checking on most other tables except ours. The climax of the meal was our grill going down in the middle of our second round of proteins. The waitress had just dropped off our refills (finally) and hadn’t noticed our grill was down. We flagged down a bus boy who offered to get a lighter. Our waitress finally came back, attempted to light the grill multiple times before finally realizing that it wasn’t going to work. This is all fine. What is not okay is that we were informed that this table had broken down for the folks before us, yet we were still sat there. And it’s really not okay that we had to wait ten minutes for a new table, while our half-cooked food sat on a cool grill, flies swarming. We asked to speak to the manager. He never showed up. I’ve got plenty of assumptions about why our service was so poor (we were the darkest folks there), but ultimately this was just a terrible dining experience. Regardless of my assumptions. Shan’t be dining here again - in-person or delivery.

2023-08-24 22:05:02I used to love coming here every birthday and recommending this place to all my friends and family. I came to Oz with my family on Aug 21st and reserved a party of 8, which they charge an automatic 18% gratuity.Reservation rules are:1) If any person is absent, its a $10 charge for anyone missing2) If you cancel, its a $10 charge for a person for the party you reserved for. So had I canceled with my party, that wouldve been an $80 charge! This is pretty crazy since Oz is known for always having a big waitlist, and people lined up for them. The service was terrible when my family and I came. Ashley was our server, and she seemed very unorganized and forgetful. She rarely came to our table. We had 2 orders of food come out to our tables before any drinks got served to us. We had to remind Ashley multiple times on things we were missing on the table and things we requested. When it came to the check, we waited 45 minutes for Ashley to come to our table and tell us the manager was bringing us the check. When we brought up our concerns with the manager (didnt get his name but he was wearing a blue shirt with glasses), he did not seem to care. Military discount was no longer offered to the table, just the ones who had a military I.D now.Overall the food was still good, service was terrible. And I do not agree that the 18% gratuity was deserved for the service we got.

2023-10-31 20:49:28Love oz!!! Its shrinkflation now and prices were raised but It’s a must try for anyone looking for Korean bbq. I’ve been coming here for years but I prefer the Bradshaw location. Elk Grove just seems unorganized and they don’t respect wait times and the portions are smaller than the Bradshaw location. I went there this past Friday and you only get 3 wings at a time now, and 3 shrimps at a time. Only 2 sesame balls at a time. The wings were whatever I could have ordered more if I wanted but the 3 tiny shrimps was crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also I heard them not give someone a birthday spin because she didn’t have her ID. She wasn’t drinking or anything she was with her family so I was a little confused because she looked maybe 18 or 19. They should have let her spin. It was rude. The desserts are terrible anyways so she didn’t miss anything. She might have not even had an ID yet. Honestly I’d rather not go to oz than go to the Elk Grove location but I’ll still give them 4 stars due to the server Jun. He was very very sweet and organized. If these stars were just for him I would give 5.

2023-03-01 14:45:24OZ is a great place to eat. If you never have eaten at OZ be ready to eat. Its an all you can eat restaurant where you cook your food at your table. There are a bunch of meat, poultry, and seafood to pick from. Vegetables, sauces, soups, and wraps are also included. Good place for a date, the family or we have even had birthday dinners here. The wait at times is very long. Plan ahead and use Yelp to get on the wait list. Just make sure your whole party is there or they wont seat you.Its been one of our family favorites.

2022-03-24 17:32:33Oz was an excellent experience for us when we went past week!We went during dinner for the all you can eat menu- each of the meats were flavored really well. The appetizers we got were the pot stickers, sweet chili wings, and the garlic fries- overall flavored well and good rating. We got mostly all pork and beef items, all of them tasted good and went well with the various sauces and sides they had (as pictured)! The only reason for the 4/5 stars was because of our server who took over 10 mins to take our drink order and was just delayed with any request we had. However, we will definitely be back for the food!
