4 star only because the prices keep going up! Otherwise I LOVE this place! Their Special Combination of Udon soup and chicken or beef bowl is the best deal. I prefer the chicken over the beef. Also, their Unagi Don (freshwater eel) is my all time favorite, but again, its getting more expensive each time. So, we may not visit as often due to the price, but we still love when we do go.

Miso soup flavor was good but it had nothing but 2 VERY tiny pieces of white tofu. Wish it had atleast a bit more in it. I got the bento box style spicy pork. It was very good, as was everything else on the platter. Quick easy place to have lunch and service is very fast. Recommend

This place is good; tasty. It is expensive though. The menu prices went up, so I didnt expect my order to be almost $50. After I ate, I was still hungry. So if your super hungry and dont want to spend a lot of money, then go somewhere else. Here is an updated menu with correct prices.

Not a place I would return to. Sushi isnt very good.Gyoza deep fried( never had them that way) they were fried to the point of burnt. Spicy pork is just pork with jalapeños in it. Very pain.Its Oxnard. So I didnt expect much and wasnt given much.

Great little Japanese restaurant. Friendly staff. I ordered their special which includes an udon bowl and a small rice bowl with your choice of chicken or beef. The udon was good. It had a very homy and tastiness to it. I got the beef bowl and thought it was a little dry. Couldve used a little more sauce. Overall great experience.

Great drop in lunch location if youre in the area. Fast and courteous service coupled with great food in a convienent location.We had the BBQ Beef Donburi and the Spicy Pork Donburi. Delicious and well priced.

This restaurant has rather good food. It reminds me a lot of the food found in Japan. The staff is very friendly and the food is quite affordable. If you havent been here before, I would highly suggest it if youre in the Oxnard area. It is very good and I will be returning again.

I asked for 5 soy sauce and 5 hot sauce for my pick up order and I was only given 3 of each. I asked for 2 more of each and I was denied. I even suggested paying extra for it, and the woman denied me once again. I am regular customer and never have I been denied for hot sauce and soy sauce. She said that it was too much for what I ordered. This woman clearly does not know the way I like to eat my food. I honestly wanted a refund because that is the only amount of condiments I enjoy eating the food I pay for. This was offensive to me, but I was kind enough not to make a scene. This new employee gave me bad service.

Ordered takeout. Tempura soba and California roll. Everything was excellent. Tempura was perfectly crunchy, with high quality shrimp. Broth was super tasty and packaged separately from the noodles. California rolls were creamy and fresh. Highly recommend.

First time here, placed order thru postmates, order was ready sooner than anticipated - got unagi roll and chicken bowl, both were tasty, husband really loved the chicken and thought chicken could need more sauce. There may have been some tiny pieces of bones in the roll as I munched on something crunchy. Miso soup was a nice plus. Food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. We love coming back over and over again. All your favorites with combos and specials. Restaurant is smsll, but very cozy. Choice of booth or table seating...the booths are half booth half chairs. Cable TV is usually turned on to news or sports. Take out or dine in... its all good food with great friendly service! Thank you my friends for another wonderful meal!

Excellent relatively authentic Japanese food (with some fusion dishes like sushi rolls thrown in to please the local palette). Ive visited a few times before in person, and had casual conversations in Japanese with the owners and management, so this place is legit. If you want some good Japanese food like udon or any kind of donburi, this is a great spot. They may seem a tad expensive, but often, the premium is there for a reason. This is one of the few places here where I can get a solid oyakodon, or a tasty tanuki udon.

I freaking love ozeki noodles. This is my favorite restaurant of all time. They honestly have authentic Japanese food. And their Crunch roll is my favorite food. It’s just fried California but they fry it a way I haven’t found anywhere else. I live in Arkansas but every time I come to California to visit my family I always make room to come here.

Good Food & Great Service. I eat here about once a month or so. I have for more than 5 years now. Never have I had a bad experience. Its very clean inside with nice people serving me. I believe its the nicest place in the area. I like the menu with so many things to choose from. My family likes this place and so do I. I would recommend this to anyone that likes fresh good food and great service.

Nice place to eat, friendly manager and waitress, also good for take-out.I came by for noodles and a California Roll. The Udon was good, but I think the next time I come in, Ill skip the curry broth. The roll was quite good though.Probably better to call-ahead if you want take-out. The place is small and theres no waiting area, other than regular dining tables. Still, the wait wasnt too long and they included everything in the bag (I didnt have to remember to ask for soy/ginger/wasabi, etc.

The service was great and fast. Very little to improve restaurant was clean and nice looking. But the food sucked.It was bland and underseasoned and the tempura was really heavy and dense and also oily the broth that I had had no seasoning whatsoever and The noodles were overcooked and had a crappy texture.Whoever gives this restaurant five stars or four does not know what they are talking about.

The food here at Ozeki is very fresh everything is nice and warm and ready to eat. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to eat some delicious sushi. I have been to all and I mean all sushi places in oxnard,ventura and camarillo and this place is right in my top 5 places. Thank you for staying open and for the food. Again definitely worth it

One of my favorite places to eat. Bento box lunches, donburi (protein on rice), and noodle dishes are the most commonly ordered items. Their fried chicken (kara age) is delicious but be careful, its always hot from the fryer. To start, my wife and I like to get kinpira which is burdock root and carrots marinated in something that tastes like teriyaki with sesame oil.

This is a Japanese restaurant that has been operating in Oxnard for a long time. For sushi, you can also enjoy sushi rolls unique to America, including California rolls. In addition, udon, soba, rice bowls, desserts, alcohol, etc. were also offered.The cutlet bowl was delicious!
