Best Jajangmyeon in Bar Area. Noodle is chwey and sause is authentic Korean style. Fried dumplings and sweet&sour pork are really delicious. Always long line here, but service is quick.
I visited here with two other guys for the first time. The restaurant was almost empty. The food was okay but the service from the Asian waiter was very bad - First, he gave us only one menu to look at among three of us. Secondly, while we were deciding on food, he came over three times and asked us what we were going to order. Annoying. We were rushed til the end as he gave our bill when we were still working on our food. Again, the place was empty. I wont come to this joint again.
Bokkeummyeon is simply weird (only in US) but I guess it is localised for americans (feels like super sweet soggy stir fried noodles with mini shrimps and pork strips). jjamppong is also below par, way too much pepper until you can smell them. vege is abundance in both dishes. service is good but just food is too lopsided for locals here, probably unacceptable for international asians.
Paik jongwon should visit this place asap. They are doing everything what Mr. Paik tells the business owners not to do.1. Overcooked noodle seved with probably a day old jajang sauce with a bit of sour after taste and it was barely warm and almost cold!2. Refried dumpling with dried filling.3. This is the only one location where food is served by the owner, not self served so he can ask for tips.4. I will be surprised if this place is still in business after a year or two.Ive been to at least 10 branches in LA, OC, Chicago and Dallas so dont you tell me you are serving the qualify foods like other locations!Will never come back!
Absolutely delicious and can’t wait to return.We came on a Tuesday right before the lunch rush and received wonderful food and service the entire time.Ordered jajangmyeon based on everyone’s reviews here. Very rich in flavor. Perfect portion size. Pickled radishes and a pitcher of water were also brought to our table.A small detail I loved: every customer dined in during my visit instead of getting take out, and it felt special to be there as the room slowly filled.
The restaurant was clean, the menu simple, and the food was great. I ordered Jajangmyeon and Tangsuyuk. The pork was really well seasoned, the sauce not unbearably sweet and it came with a nice variety of veggies. The noodles had a pleasant chew and, even though there weren’t many pork pieces, the sauce had a really good flavor. The food was served with a side of radish pickles as well. I love any Korean pickle, so I enjoyed them. The service was super fast and the staff was friendly. I will definitely be back and I’m excited to try their other dishes.

The jajangmyeon was so delicious! And we had superb service as well. We were the only people dining in at the time, and the patron asked us if we had a preference on what music we wanted to listen to. It was a small gesture and a brief conversation, but this attentiveness made this dining experience a great one. I will definitely come back to try other dishes!

Great service and the spicy seafood noodle is the best! Lots of veggies and seafood. Best value I’ve seen so far when traveling to States. Most of the time, food in the States are overpriced and small potion and taste awful but this place satisfies all your Asian food craving. Service was fast and the place is clean, staff are friendly! All the classic Korean/Chinese dishes like tsangsuyu and jajangmyon, taste super good!!! The chicken dish is pretty good as well. Clean place, good service. Pricing is pretty good, free parking.
Ran into this restaurant while visiting Six Flags and was surprised to see this Korean celebrity cook owned restaurant in the middle of Santa Clarity which is not usual. Being Korean and knowing how these food are supposed to taste like, it wasnt the best I tried. I would say the food flavor was geared more towards non-Koreans as I thought the taste were very blend in general. There was no kick to jjampong and soy paste noodle. Dumpling were also a bit on the disappointing side as well. But otherwise, nice and clean with attentive servers.
Like the way, the owner treats the customers. I visited there with my two kids. After we finish our lunch, she gave me Korean snacks for my kids.
First time having Korean noodles so this review is based off my first experience with this type of food.At first I was concerned because the menu was mostly in Korean and only had a few items.the waitress explained that of the 5 items on the menu they only had 4 available due to soft opening. As a fat American who is used to a menu that resembles a kids picture book it made it easy to decide and in only 4 trips I can try everything in the menu.I picked the spicy noodles with pork and squid (jjamppong ) . It took a while to arrive at our table and Im glad it did because it was piping hot and fresh just the way I like anything with cooked seafood in it. It wasnt salty and the heat was a solid medium ( most likely a mild for anyone who doesnt get sunburned by indoor lighting). The serving size was pretty big and I left full.My girlfriend got the stir fried noodles with seafood pork and vegetables (bokkeummyeon).She said it was very good. I had a small bite of it and I enjoyed the tiny chopstick full she was willing to give up.the staff was super friendly and helpful. Their English wasnt the best but for me just added to the experience.Facility was very clean.I will definitly be making another trip here in the near future and I hope more places like this make their way over.

Paik’s noodles in Santa Clara, CA. Jajangmyeon noodles with pork! Korean style Jajangmyeon that you can enjoy noodles with stir fried vegetables and black soy bean sauce. I love how fresh the noodles were and the soy bean paste sauce was fire. The pickles daikon was the perfect pairing for this dish. I can’t wait to come back to try the different dishes of noodles that they offer.
Great food and a great restaurant, been going here since before the pandemic. Try the Gochu Jjamppong Bap (spicy soup/seafood/rice), Bokkeumyeon (stir fried noodles with seafood/pork), or Jajangmyeon (black bean stir fried noodles.) Those are my favorites
First off. Every time I have come in here the place is spotless. I love a clear restaurant which seems to be harder and harder to come by these days. Next the staff (I think they are a husband and wife team) are always pleasant.Now thats out of the way, lets talk about the food. The menu is limited to only 5 items one of which I dont think they have just yet. Ive tried 4 of the five items and I didnt care for the jjamppong (seafood noodle soup), and the jajangmyeon was okay, but the bokkeummyeon and tangsuyuk is out of this world. The bokkeummyeon is a noodle dish with mixed meats and veggies. While I dont know how to describe the taste I have never been disappointed when I ordered it. Its so freaking good. The tangsuyuk is a fried pork with this sweet sauce and veggies. I will admit the sauce is a little on the sweet side, but if you order the dish with sauce on the side (which is how it was recommended to me) and make a little soy sauce/vinegar dipping sauce (which they husband or wife will gladly do for you) its also a winner. Now when ever I come here I get those two a coke and just sit back and relax.The prices are not bad at all, especially for the portion size. There is no Wi-Fi.

OMG! Horrible jajangmen taste!!!It taste like black noodle inside the water..Yes! Lots of water!!! Im NOT joking!So I complained to waitress, she brought me new dishes, but one of them was OK but the 2nd bowl was same problems like black noodle inside the water! W A T E R!!!Under 2 dollars Instant noodle taste much better then this!!!
This place plain out sucks. The food is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo salty and after complaining they still were not able to make it right. Afterwards, restaurant hosts were not very apologetic and have zero clue. If you want to throw money in the trash and ruin your taste buds at the same time, then be my guest. Even Denny’s is a 5 Star restaurant compared to here.
The food was great, super delicious but I kept being snubbed by the waitress cuz I dont look chinese. She would only address my friend that was with me. I felt it was pretty rude, but well it is to do in my culture. So foods good, service was meh.
Its a nice little place with some great food. I recommend you go check it out. I got spicy ramen and my cousins got the chicken. Everything was damn good. Workers there were also top notch.

Getting korean chinese food is a once in a year dish that my family enjoys and it wasnt up to par. Seafood jappong with no seafood. Had to go cook my own seafood to add in the seafood soup. the bean paste noodle is sweeter and again with almost little to no meat. This place is very generic and plain tasting. I rather goto a place with meat and pay more.
Always wanted to try the Korean black bean noodles. Finally found a place who has it and it as delicious as I thought. Customer service and atmosphere is outstanding. Will be a regular!

The Gochu Jom Pong is amazing. Love the family who owns it. Been a regular for a couple years now at least 2 or 3 times a month. Reasonable price too!

An oasis-like restaurant I found during a long drive! The sweet and sour pork was better than the one I had in Korea (it was fried perfectly), and the jjajang and jjamppong were also very delicious. The service was good and the store was clean, so it was a pleasant meal. Recommended!
I had sweet and sour pork and it was delicious. The fries are crispy and you can choose between dipping or frying. The meat doesnt taste fishy and is juicy. The service is good and the space is spacious, which is nice. It seems to be a relatively quiet place so you can have a leisurely meal. On the other hand, it is good that the menu has expanded like the Hong Kong restaurant recently in Korea. Premonition to be a regular! Its just a shame that tangjjamyeon and jjamjjamyeon are not available in Hong Kong restaurants in the US. Rice can be ordered additionally for about $2.--------------04/2021Dining is possible inside the restaurant or on the patio. The food is consistently delicious, and the sweet and sweet fried pork is especially delicious. For reference, when ordering sweet and sour pork, I highly recommend asking for additional soy sauce on the side. It tastes better if you sprinkle red pepper powder on it. It is said that packaging containers are not completely sealed to prevent food from getting soggy. In keeping with the current situation, food is mainly provided in disposable containers.Dining-in is now available either in the restaurant or at their patio.

My family is a regular at the Hong Kong spot in Valley, and I was so happy to know that there was a Hong Kong spot in Valencia by chance while visiting my in-laws. However, as soon as I entered, I was not greeted and not told where to sit. All the guests who came behind me seemed to be hanging around for a while. It was a bit like that because all the plates brought after a long time were for anecdotes. Still, since its a restaurant with the same menu and the same recipe, I thought it wouldnt be a problem, but the sweet and sour pork that took more than 20 minutes was not seasoned at all, so it was very tasteless, and the sauce was really tasteless, like water. I was so hungry that I ate it, but the stir-fried jjajang was really good. Pork was not good and shrimp was nowhere to be found. Jjajangmyeon, which was tasteless, was surrounded by stir-fried vegetables and fetched a high price, but among them, Jjamppong was the better one. Looking at the cooks, I couldnt see any movement using the wok. Of course it doesnt taste bad.If you see the owner, please visit the Hong Kong restaurant in Valley or Koreatown. There cant be such a difference. Even if you say you cut corners because of inflation, I dont think this is a bit wrong. Every time I went to my in-laws house, I was glad that I had a place to eat by stopping by, but Im completely disappointed. If you really want to be in business for a long time, you have to study more and try harder...
This house doesnt deserve even a single star.Its surprising that its a Baek Jong-won franchise store.The noodles are chewy and slippery when chewed.Sweet and sour pork is made by boiling the meat in advance and then frying it.I almost vomited because of the fishy smell of meat.This is a house I never want to go to again.
Jjajangmyeon is always 👍. But because my youngest son cant eat black bean noodles, I always order fried rice...its originally black bean rice, but I heard theyll give me fried rice if I want it...so I always order fried rice. But today... I couldnt even eat half of it. In the end, the youngest child also ate white rice with seaweed powder sprinkled on it. The fried rice had bean sprouts in it, but it was too fishy. When I make fried rice at home, I also add bean sprouts... I think its old? I wonder if they added bean sprouts... because as the bean sprouts age, they produce a lot of water and become fishy... Anyway, I was satisfied almost every time I ate it, but today I was very disappointed, so I am leaving a review. Next time, I was so impressed that I decided to leave a review ㅠㅠ
I understand that the price went up because its Kobi, but the portion was so small that I ate it alone and it was a bit disappointing. It feels so mean.

2022-10-09 22:45:14When we first entered the restaurant, it took awhile for us to get seated because there was only 1 person who did everything (taking orders, seating people, cleaning up tables, collecting money, etc). In terms of the food, the noodles were nice and chewy. Overall flavor was just OK. The fried chicken was super salty. My friend took one bite and couldnt finish it. The black bean noodles usually have diced pork in it, but it was so non-existent that I thought I was eating a vegetarian version of the dish. The only reasons why I gave 2 stars was because 1. the one waitress wasnt super rude and 2. the restaurant was clean. Unfortunately, I would not come back again.

2022-02-07 20:11:31Quite a small and simple menu but everything we ordered was delicious. Between two people, we ordered bokkeummyeon, fried chicken, and 1/2 order dumplings and we still had enough to take home so the servings are generous. The service is very friendly as well and the food comes out quickly. Theres only one person working the floor though so at times, you may have to wait to ask for things or get your bill. Well be back!

We were served very oily potstickers and gray noodles with a minimum of vegetables and 4 small shrimp.We tried to eat it but it was too gross. As I was paying for the food I declined the take out box and informed the waitress that we did not eat it because it was not good.That turned into a whole thing where the waitress wanted to argue that the potstickers were fine...the noodle dish was right (see the green onion?)It was comical the way she kept insisting that the food was fine (it was not) I told her 3 times... I just want to pay and goShe was very insistent that the food was exactly as it is in the menu.Behold my pictures and see for yourselfThe food here is not good and the service isnt either. 2021-01-06 20:58:19We ordered takeout for lunch today. The customer service was very good. They got our order right and were timely with the order. The location is easy to find in northern Valencia. Furthermore, the portion sizes were very large and reasonably priced. The beef, the noodles, the shrimp, and the seafood were all cooked perfectly. Nothing was rubbery and it was not overly seasoned. We spent a few years in Korea and it was actually nostalgic for us, too. This is one of the only places in Santa Clarita with authentic Korean food, and I would highly recommend it to you.

2022-02-07 03:50:45Service is always top notch. Had their Jajang Bap, Jaengban Jajang, and Kkanpunggi. The Jajang Bap came with a bowl of spicy seafood soup that definitely hit the spot. Their serving sizes are large so we had enough to take home for dinner.

They serve a complementary sweet crunchy vegetable of some sort that was super yummy. I cant wait to come back for the wings, they are calling out to me!

I love Jajagmyun with radish puckles. So good!! restaurant was clean and the service was so fast. I ordered to pick up. It took just 10mins. I will be definitely back whenever I am craving for Korean Chinese foods.
