Panda Express in Bakersfield

The new Chili crisp shrimp slaps! Fairly decent size. So good and crispy. There is a 1.50 extra charge for it. I also got the apple pie rolls at $2 each which are so bad for you but so good. Filled with soft apple pie filling. This is one of my favorite Panda Express. It stays busy so the food is always fresh. Its the one off of Mount Vernon by the abandoned mall and Walmart.

Decided to switch up my usual order and got the honey sesame chicken. It was all good and filling. I wish they would get rid of the Black Pepper Angus Steak, I dont like it at all, I preferred the regular Angus Steak

It’s so repetitive that I unfortunately come to expect from every Panda Express I visit and I visit many locations because my work takes me all over Bakersfield that the employees come off callous, rushed and lack that “I want to make this a good experience” attitude.I like to compare fast food establishments to the OVER THE TOP customer service I get from In-N-Out and Chick-Fil-A. Not that anyone really wants to be at work but the attitude from the employees of the two listed establishments “act” like or are truly happy to be there and to be of service.P.S. The first 10 times donating to my local Children’s Hospital made me feel good but now knowing it’s a permanent, required part of the customer service experience makes it feel uncomfortable to continuously be solicited. Maybe let ME decide by putting signage at the register SUGGESTING a donation?

I walked up to the counter and some strange girl automatically gave me dirty looks for no reason. When I gotten home and checked the bag, I realized she gave me a blackened egg roll. Because she intentionally gave me bad food, I’m going to report it to the health department. I get she’s immature but she crossed a very thin line legally when you tamper with customers food. I can provide photos too. Karma is a hard one.

Horrible experience! Theyre out of over half of their food items, and the drive-thru attendant thought it was funny. Very unprofessional. What kind of restaurant are you running where you cant keep the food coming out? This the second time this is happening to me at this location, I will not be returning. What kind of restaurant does it have the next entree prepared is the other one is running low? It tells the patient have to wait 10 minutes through the drive-thru?

Service was through drive thru and friendly but food was bad, tasted old, stale and some parts were cold and some parts warm...have had orders done wrong here before but this was the last straw, definitely not going back there anymore!

Worst service ever! They make you wait forever to get your order & then they give you the wrong stuff. I ordered orange chicken bowl with rice and a kids meal with teriyaki chicken and chow mein. Only got the chicken on both orders with no side.. also they have you wait in the front from the drive thru and always forget the drinks. This place is just getting worse & worse. They need new workers. Ones who actually know what they’re doing. I tried to call and let them know and they wouldn’t answer the phone. Called 5 times.

Excellent customer service, the food fresh and good flavor! It has parking! Fast service!

Its amazing how one piece of chicken can change your perception of the place ordered a 2 item compo and ask for 1 measly piece of Orange chicken Im diabetic and Im trying to stay away from sweets but used to like their Orange chicken and ritk says no I cant do that at least he wasnt rude about it. But come on its one piece of chicken going to blow the budget I dont get it my line of work I always do complimentary things to keep the customer happy I can tell you from this experience I will not be coming back to any of your panda expresses to top it off my son with special needs ordered Orange chicken so he could share a piece with me and it was cold and stale Panda Express used to have better service and better tasting food I dont know whats happened

I frequently visit this Panda, it is clean, has friendly associates and always has the items I am looking for- I have never had to wait for them to make a fresh batch! Food is always consistent and always fast.
