I asked to try out / sample the lady said they don’t give tryouts.. is the first panda that they don’t let try new plate.. I felt not welcome by the lady that was helping us. Kinda off rude. Orange chiken was terrible my daughters did not like it at all.. we threw it away 🤢. Paid close to 60 dlls for nothing. Please Panda remember customers come back with good food and customer service and we don’t care if is pricey as long is very good food and service.

The orange chicken was out and when I asked if it would be done soon enough to wait to order I was not given a time estimate. Customer service was terrible I was rushed to order even while looking to decide before even coming up to the counter. Was not given a fortune cookie either.

To be honest I wont be going back to this location for quite awhile. they really need someone to come in and fix the place. the quality of the food is terrible. my mushroom chicken was all vegetables and even the vegetables werent good because whoever cut the veggies cut them so big that they didnt cook properly. also my rangoons were both undercooked and stale to the point I just threw them away.

One of the better Panda Expresses I’ve seen. It’s really big and really clean. They have a separate food-serving area for drive through, which cuts down the general wait time a lot. The staff are pleasant and welcoming. The food is standard PE, so nothing out of the ordinary here. A nice new spot for quick, hot, decent food in Tehachapi. No complaints.

Horrible, I went to the Tehachapi Panda Express recently and I got rice and orange chicken. They gave me 6 super small peices of chicken and a lot of rice. Costumer service was also bad the person at the register had a bad attitude which created a bad vibe.

Horrible service tonight. Not only would they not make the food I ordered, but they got my order - choosing from food that happened to be available - wrong, then the food server cussed at me for asking them to fix her mistake and refused to make the correction. Once the team leader was finally called over, I got more attitude and stale food. These two need a different job, keep them away from customer interactions.

HORRIBLE customer service, rude on the phone, got an order completely wrong and acted like it was my fault, asked for a receipt on the phone but didnt even look up the order number, acted like it was my fault, so I demanded a refund and went to get it and the manager berates me for clicking on her on the phone! after being rude to me! Wanted a formality after being rude to me! HAH no, then I said I would report her to corporate, and she said she would report me! HAHAH report me to who you fool! Ive tried this Panda Express four times now. The service is consistently slow as molasses in January, and the employees, to the last one, appear confused and rattled. The food is exactly what youd expect from the American version of Chinese fast food: unauthentic but consistent, and nothing to get excited about. The best thing on the menu is the king pao chicken (for a side, the fried rice is better than the chow mein). As tempting as the wok-seared steak and shrimp sounds, I found it a complete disappointment; the steak pieces were shriveled little bits of nearly burnt meat, and the shrimp were scarce (and small). Sure, Ill be back -- but Ill bring a book to read while waiting in the drive-thru line. On edit: Photo is of honey walnut chicken burying a side of fried rice, taken the moment I opened the takeout container and untouched (and unretouched). Tasted like it looks: Meh.

90% of the time that we order Teriyaki Chicken bowls, they do not give you the Teriyaki sauce or the packets. I received sweet and sour packets today even after asking for Teriyaki sauce packets. 🤦🏻‍♀️ This is my last visit at this location.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!I went to the Panda Express in Tehachapi, California on 11/7/2022. When I started eating my bowl of chow mein, rice and Kung Pao chicken my mouth started to burn. I felt like I was going to die. My chest started burning. My mind starting spinning. Dizziness everywhere. I felt like I was going to die. Apparently, the workers there FAILED TO MIX THE SAUCE PROPERLY in the Kung Pow chicken. It took FORTY MINUTES for the burning to finally subside and even after all that, my lips still burned and tingled hours afterwards.I truly believe the shock of swallowing all that hot stuff, like happened to me, could have possibly killed an older or younger person.I tried contacting Panda Express. However, they never got back to me. No apology. Nothing.They also are very cheap here. Meaning, they will give you just a little bit of lo mein, or meat and rice. Ive never seen a Panda Express be so ungenerous with their servings. But this place is.Please avoid this place like the plague.

Started out good, then they went downhill. But the food seems to be getting better again as of last time i visited. But up during the downhill side, for example if you got your order with the chow mien, you would get less than 50% noodles and big chunks of cabbage core pieces that were not very appetizing, and barely edible. And the entrées were warm and soft, not hot and fresh/crispy. Ill be hoping they keep getting better so I can bump them up to a 5 star.

I love Panda Express and their Panda Inn restaurant. Very consistent and fresh ingredients. But this location is a hot mess. 5 different visits and a mistake every time. This time one of our entrées was the Peppered Chicken. Received Beef with bell peppers. I keep telling the family no more but we keep returning in hope others have complained and the situation would resolved.

I have to update my review to one star because this is just a terrible Panda Express location. Lobby can almost always be trusted to be closed, so you’d better hope they don’t forget anything or else you’ll have to get back in that line that’s wrapped around the building. No other Panda Express location is like this still. Also the quality of the food is worse than pretty much every other location I’ve been to as well

This place used to have 5 stars from me but our last visit on Saturday September 18 was the worse experience ever. The workers were rude and had overfill my sons soda when reminded they had forgotten it. My husband also got food poisoning from their orange chicken. It had gone bad and it seems they tried to hide it with all the sauce cause when he threw up the chicken was green. Avoid and go elsewhere..

1st bad experience. Ordered online. Got there and the doors were locked. Employee motioned me to go through drive thru. After waiting in line, employee at the window said they ran out of rice and it would be another 10min so park out front. In the meantime they let two other patrons in to pick up their orders, although they had to wait as well. 20min later they brought my order out but at least with an apology and smile.When I got home, found a pile of rice under my teriyaki chicken, so less meat. Probably the least-liked of the Panda Expresss that I eat at between Atascadero and Palmdale. Food taste is the same as others.....I dont fault them there. Heres where I knock off two stars; 1st the Portions are slightly under what other Pandas give. 2nd..they close the grill roughly at 7pm or before. By 730pm they start running out of choices. This slows down service to not only walk-ins but the drive-thru. This is bad. We eat there two to three times a month...if we go there after 7pm, I notice each car in drive-thru stays at the speaker 5 to 10 minutes and theres usually 3-5 cars there at that time of night. You will wait in line 30-plus minutes.Also theres never any fresh vegetables...regardless of what time of day we go, we always have to wait on vegetables.

Horrible customer service from I believe “Anna”? As I walked in with my 3 small children I wasn’t even greeted, I was quickly asked “does she have a mask” (pointing at my 3 year old daughter) I told her that she’s only 3 and she has a medical condition restricting her air flow (asthma). The worker says “no she needs a mask, can you leave them outside.” Mind you I’m the only adult with children 7&6 and 3 years old. The rest of us have masks on but she refused to serve us because my toddler didn’t have a mask on due to a medical condition and still refused after telling her she medically couldn’t wear one and she didn’t need to by law anyways because she’s a toddler. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Tehachapi store. {Im a mojave resident} Very small portions again. The egg rolls were over cooked & hard again. We got 2 bigger plate meals. Tehachapi have a Panda Express and they do have gluten free options which is good for us gluten intolerant people. The broccoli/cabbage veggies, teriyaki chicken,and beans with chicken breast are a good option along with rice. Im sure the orange and walnuts chicken are great options for you folks who can eat sweet breaded fried foods.
