Panda Garden in San Marcos

Its hard to find good Chinese food in San Diego. We were up in San Marcos and saw the 5 star reviews and had to stop in. This is a family business and they treat you well! Our food was delicious and we will be back. The Sweet & Sour pork was tangy and cooked perfectly. The Kung Pao Chicken was also very tasty. You have to love that their fried egg rolls are crispy & hot! See you again soon!

A great place to get Chinese food in North County. The cuisine hits a good medium between westernized and authentic Chinese food without being too exciting or too expensive. The wait staff is incredibly friendly, and my wife and I love to chat with them when we go eat there. The ambiance is very cozy, with nice lighting and a mix of Chinese instrumental music, and covers of western songs on piano or guzheng.The egg drop soup and the imperial soup are both delicious4 stars for the food because while it is absolutely delicious, I do wish more of the dishes included meat and veggies together, instead of one or the other. I often get the honey walnut shrimp because it comes with broccoli and the other dish that I would love to get, the crispy pungent beef, doesnt come with any veggies. I also recommend the shrimp in lobster sauce, though it might be a little too rich flavored for some.

First time here and certainly not the last. Good food and service, along with a clean and peaceful interior. The fried rice was tasty; sweet and sour chicken was a bit overcooked but still fine; and the egg roll and egg drop soup were delicious as well. The only bad thing was I forgot to take a picture before digging in! Looking forward to going back and trying their other dishes.

Found this place on accident. There were a few uber eats order for this place. I smelled the food, and thought let me give it a try. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the food, the service and the atmosphere. I have gone back three times and probably go back tonight. The food is hot, flavorful, not greasy, fresh and the staff, have been excellent every time Ive gone. I try to have discipling and not go to often but mmm mmm good.

We absolutely love this place! We are long-time customers and visit often. I havent ordered anything I havent liked. The staff is very kind and attentive. They definitely have things on the menu that are more americanized, but they also have traditional food as well. Something to make everyone happy. They are consistently busy at lunch and dinner, which tells me other people enjoy them too. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual.

I have been a customer since 1994. My last experience was on Sunday August 6 and it was horrible. My wife and I got there at 8:35 PM and they close 9:30. The waitress said, we are cleaning, hurry up and put your order in. My wife replied we would like 2 hot teas and to give us a minute. We rushed and gave our order. Two other couples showed up after and they were preferred as we were ignored and they were attended very nice and cordial. We are normally very generous with big tips. This treatment will not be tolerated. We will find another Chinese restaurant.

I always come here for American Chinese food. The food is great because they are not oily. They taste excellent. I drive 1 hour here every weekend just to have dinner. Great food. Excellent service. Must try.

They made me beef chow fun with black bean sauce dry style. Not on the menu. It was fantastic. Everything was excellent as well. Absolutely best in San marcos!

Very delicious Chinese food. Panda garden provides Chinese food that not greasy and oily, all dishes are yummy and the meat are fresh. For me, Panda Garden is the best Chinese food in SD.

Easy parking in a strip mall. Friendly staff. Great food and large portion sizes for a reasonable price. Here on work and this was a great place to eat!
