The best Panera Bread weve been to. The premises is clean, service top notch, everyone who works there is polite and on it.The gentleman who was cleaning the tables at 12pm on 10/7/2023 was as meticulous as the staff in a Japanese department store - in other words, he sets the bar for excellence.

I ordered a cup. They will be ready in 10mins at the deferent location. I went there to pick up a cup but no parking space there. One space open was for pick up OK, I just do pick up so took the spot. Went to inside the store, there were no cup.. thought they maybe busy...thought that cup will be ready at 12;50pm i thought it was 1pm, waited .. then realized i waited for 1 hour, nothing ..the table had a sigh. they want to keep big table for big family or something... so then please get ready a cup in 10mins or so. Then you wont loose big table for one person for one hour for missing cup..

I decided to take my Mom out to lunch today. She suggested Panera Bread being that it is close to her house. She and I have eaten there a few times and it has always been good. Panera was not busy at about 2:00pm on Saturday when we got there. I ordered the Mac & cheese and a cup of French onion soup. My mother ordered a cup of chicken noodle soup and a bagel. My soup was very good with lots of onion and bread with cheese. The Mac & cheese is one of my favorites. Paneras is extremely good. My Mom and had a wonderful lunch sitting enjoying a warm afternoon. Highly recommend

Pretty large location. I usually order online to beat the line. Parking can get crowded during busy times.And people drive way too fast by the entrance and patio.They periodically run low on bananas since the smoothies are quite popular. I try to get the strawberry banana one, but sometimes I have to settle for just strawberry. Oh, the humanity!

Got chicken Asian said. So bland, the chicken is boiled, tasteless thin slices. The lettuce was crispy and fresh. The wonton strips were stale, tasteless and hard as rocks. Dressing is thin and sweet

The service here is very hit and miss. Sometimes theyre nice or neutral, other times they dont even give you the option to dine in despite there being a good amount of staff and an empty restaurant. Food is consistently good but the mobile order is always late, no matter the day or the time.

Most customers appears to be students with laptops maybe thats why the wifi is extremely slow, not sure if its just today or everyday is like this since UCI is nearby. Restrooms not maintained/cleaned (mens bathroom, not sure about womens). Coffee not hot, butter in the bucket not iced. Did not cut my sandwich in half as requested. Order ready not delivered (mobile app order) to my table, I had to walk up there and pick it up myself. Definitely do not recommend this Panera location.

This review is strictly for Lucy at the sandwich making counter. She is extremely rude with a bad attitude. It appears as if she hates her job as well as customers. I saw her be extremely rude to an older man when he was looking for a to go bag for his food, then when I asked her for something she immediately told me she could not do it. I told her I would be willing to pay if needed but she refused and gave me attitude. I will be calling corporate to give feedback on Lucy. If she does not enjoy her job and treat customers with respect as they give her- she should not be working with customers. Extremely rude. Never met someone so rude before, usually everyone is friendly, not Lucy!

After over a year of not frequenting this Panera bread, we decided to try it again today. They’re doing much better since we were here last year and ended up walking out because of their irrational enforcement of mask and rules. As long as they continue to be rational I have no problem shopping here. The food was good and the service was fast.My previous (one star) review from about March 2021):I came in to place a take-out order (since they are not permitting indoor dining at this time), and was wearing a face mask. According to the cashier the way I was wearing it didn’t meet her satisfaction even though it was fully covering my mouth. In addition there was 6 feet of physical separation as well as a plastic guard between us. I requested that the cashier provide the basis of what she was mandating in the form of some written guidelines. Rather than providing that she went to get the manager and he was not able to provide any guidelines either other than a picture on the front of the store. As a result of this arbitrary decisions of how they want to enforce their mask mandate (which I was in compliance with), I decided to leave and take my business elsewhere. If, in these trying times, businesses are not wanting to accommodate their customers, there are other businesses who will. I ended up going to a different Panera bread that was much more customer friendly and I made my order there.

Great food and really nice employees. They’re the only Panera bread that always gets my order right. They do get really busy during their peak hours though, so if you are in a rush I recommend picking up your order inside instead of doing curbside pickup.

Wow what a great experience! Thomas aka Tommy was a super helpful cashier! It was my first time back a Panera Bread in 5 years and he was welcoming, polite, and attentive. As I ate I continued to notice how kind and helpful he was to every person that came inside. Great hire management! You just won me back as a customer and you can thank Tommy!I ordered a warm chocolate chip cookie and a toasted Tuscan Chicken Sandwich both were amazing! Highly recommend!

It surprised me to see so many negative comment here. Indeed, they do have issue such as misplacing your order or giving you the wrong meal. I mean, this is a nationwide problem for all Panera. However, sometimes they really treated their customer right! I was given free meal today since they have a system issue processing gift cards. I did not bring my purse and the gift card is my only payment method. When I heard the news, I was about to leave. First, the cashier is super nice and chill. He tried to help me out and took the initiative to ask his manager(he said his manager was chill and would make the meal happen. And he is right). Then the manager took the case and finally decided to give me the meal for free! Actually, this is not the first time I was treated like that. I remember one time, at another location, the staff there upgraded my meal from half portion to full, of course, for free.

Located @ Bison/MacArthur this Panera bread is quieter than most. Speedy food and the same service youd expect from Panera. Id recommend for a quiet afternoon lunch. Or in the morning parking is easy and service is quick for breakfast if youre traveling N on MacArthur. His/Hers restrooms in the back past the kitchen. **UPDATE** Same excellent service for lunch. Plenty of diverse a nice staff to help. Popular lunch place about 80% full with handling gig togo orders too. Still highly recommended. A local bargain @ 15-20$ plate

My parents and I stopped in here for a late lunch and we were served by Charlie! Charlie is an awesome manager, employee, whatever he is in this place he makes the place happen!Our sandwiches were fantastic, my Dad loved the corn soup, and I love my cappuccino!We enjoyed our food outside and the son and my mom said in the shade under the table umbrellas. It was a beautiful afternoon to be at Panera Bread!

Food was great but attention to the customer left something to be desired. We were called up to the register then the cashier took off to speak with another employee. When he came back, another person just crossed in front of us to pay. He looked like he could have been a friend of the cashier. Very confusing trying to get orders correct. Please note that this was my experience on this day with the current staff. Panera as a place to eat in general is fine. We wont be coming back to this particular restaurant in the future.

Spoke with Hugo (manager) who was rude, didnt believe us, and didnt do anything. Disputing payment and filing a complaint with Panera corporate. In search for the perfect cinnamon bagel with hope running out, until my wife introduced me to the Cinnamon Crunch at Panera Bread a week ago. I was on a secret mission to indulge on this heaven sent creation, so I stopped by at this location. Its truly sad to see my excitement fade away when the cashier looks so miserable/ with a frown as she was taking my order. I really like the choices at Panera- there is something for everyone. You can get healthy food, comfort food, salads, soups, sandwiches. My biggest complaint is that they keep on screwing up custom orders. My stomach cant tolerate peppers and onions, and they keep putting peppers and onions on the salad, even tho I ask for these items not to be included. 🙄

We are on holiday in the US after having left a decade ago. We went to Panera out of sheer nostalgia and my husband ordered his college favourite of a cinnamon crunch bagel with honey walnut cream cheese. Everyone knows Panera isnt the healthiest breakfast in town but even so, I was surprised to hear the two staff persons discussing our menu choice. One asked the other if they had ever had the honey walnut cream cheese and the other replied no its too sweet. The first person then stated a cinnamon crunch bagel and honey walnut cream cheese. Thats a heart attack on a plate. All this was discussed when we were still in earshot!! Firstly - dont criticise the customers choices. Secondly - dont criticise your employers in front of the customer!!

Great lunch spot if you work in the area.I always go for the You-Pick-2 combo which comes with a soup and sandwich. just enough to fill you but not enough to make you full. They are a bakery, so all their bread is typically pretty fresh. They also have baked goods such as muffins, cookies, streusals, and other things.THey also recently started offering online-ordering which allows you to order ahead and pick up at whatever time you deem. I used it just recently and didnt have any issues. Just a note, if you order a drink, you will need to go to the counter and ask since they dont really fill those for you.

My friend N.P. was craving Paneras flatbreads, so we headed here for lunch along with her mum when I went to go see them. Located in a large plaza, theres plenty of parking, but not necessarily near the entrance if youre going during a busy time. In case youve never been to a Panera Bread before, you order at the counter and they give you a table number. You display that number at your table and when your food is ready a server will bring it to your table along with utensils. The staff here was quite nice and friendly, so that was good.I utilised their YOU PICK TWO combo, where you get to select two of the following: Half Pasta, Cup of Soup, Half Sandwich, Half Salad, One Flatbread. I opted for one flatbread and half salad. What they dont mention in the menu is that this combo comes with either a bag of potato chips or a portion of a baguette. I went with the baguette since I miss bread (so good!).BBQ CHICKEN FLATBREAD SANDWICH: Antibiotic-free, smoked, pulled chicken, frizzled onions, mozzarella, smoked gouda, fresh baby spinach and cilantro with BBQ sauce on freshly baked flatbread.-- Sounded so good, but the execution was lacking. There was just one dollop of BBQ sauce in the flatbread, and that was in the very middle bottom of it, so all but two of my bites were BBQ-sauce-less. As if the dry chicken wasnt enough... so this flatbread ended up being super dry for me.STRAWBERRY POPPYSEED & CHICKEN SALAD: All-natural, antibiotic-free chicken, romaine lettuce, fresh strawberries, blueberries, pineapple and mandarin oranges and pecans with fat-free poppyseed dressing. (I got mine without pecans)-- The chicken here was also dry. They just dont cook the chicken well here it seems. But the rest of the salad was good. I appreciated all the fruit in the salad and I really liked the poppyseed dressing.BAGUETTE-- What can I say? Bread is delicious. This baguette was great.
