Absolutely outstanding. Ericka was so helpful and courteous. We had a bit of a wait so they threw in a chocolate croissant! All food was delicious. Pizza flatbread was fully sliced which made it easy for kids to eat in the backseat. 20/10 would stop there again to and from Vegas.

An excellent stopping point along the I-15 for some up-scale fast food.Things I love: clean, peaceful dining. Good quality food, for the most part.Needs improvement: this place has sit-down with service prices. And everything is BIG CARBS. It’s mostly tasty, but sooo pricey with little protein involved.I’d prefer it over most fast food, but it costs too much for what you get - mostly bread, breading, crumbles and more bread with your small portions of protein.

I stop here on my way to and from Vegas every time.. I do not want to go to the McDonalds in Barstow where there are 2 million people trying to go the bathroom and sometimes sketchy people as well. Panera is hidden a bit but great that they are so clean, great food and clean bathroom with no wait. Breath of fresh air compared to the alternatives around there. Worth the prices (a little expensive). I always get the egg white with spinach, tomato, cheese and avocado sandwich on their Asiago bagel instead of the oat bagel. On the way back from Vegas its a you-pick-2 with the half Mediterranean sandwich and tomato soup... Yum! Please dont spread the word I dont want the busses pulling up and ruining the paradise in Barstow lol

Must have been a bad day. Usually quite good. Did come in an hour before closing. No bread (would not substitute baguette) for salads, out of tea drinks, order was for dine in but given to us to go containers. Salads were good and refreshing.

Great options for a healthy meal while on the road. The staff are very friendly, polite and professional. The restaurant is clean.The pick 2 option is great - it allows you to combine two items into a meal. The portion sizes are perfect and the food is delicious.They give you a tracker when you pay so they can find you and deliver food to your table.

Employee Sherie was rude because she had to take orders, she looked like she was on drugs, but made my experience horrible. On top of that the the lettuce in my salad was welted. Other paneras are so good and this one is horrible.

I order pepperoni pizza every week. They were not able to do a simple pepperoni pizza without cheese over pepperoni, ever.I always ask to make sure that no cheese over pepperoni and i always got my pizza with cheese over pepperoni.I never said anything i took it as it was, this time too, but i had to come up with this review because this time was outrageous!I ordered a pepperoni and specifically ask them to make sure they put cheese on the dough, pepperoni over cheese and thats it,no cheese over pepperoni.I dont know what note they put in computer but my pizza came out like this...Wow! Just wow! Some people must stay home on government aid for good, its better that way for everybody...

Food was great. Ordered a cup of black bean soup which was great and a Mediterranean veggie half sandwich that was was wonderful. When I received my food I didnt think it would be enough but it more than satisfied me. Prices a little high but the quality is worth it to me. Also tried the prickly pear hibiscus tea which was also great. Hard to find drinks that arent loaded with sugar and this one hit the mark!

The person working the counter vacated her post, to make coffee, as all 3 of the large coffee dispensers were empty, when I got here. There was nobody up front, for nearly 5 min., until another employee spotted me, standing at the counter, patiently waiting.She then rang up my order, & told me they were making coffee, & itd be ready in 5 minutes. The original person, then re-appeared, & asked the first of 3 people waiting for coffee, if that customer wanted dark roast coffee, since it had finished brewing. She grabbed this persons cup, & whirled toward the back.I wanted dark roast coffee, as well, so I stated this, trying to save her another trip.She turned back, then rudely yelled, In a minute! She then stalked to the back with 1 coffee cup.She couldve easily carried 2 cups to the back & filled them. It wasnt my fault that Panera Bread Barstow was out of all their coffee, at the same time.I didnt appreciate how extremely rude the Panera counter worker was to me, either.I got a Chocolate Croissant, along with my Dark Roast Coffee. The croissant was good, & my coffee tasted good, as well, after I finally got it.The customer isnt always right, but they certainly arent the enemy, either.

I ordered a turkey blt. I got a lettuce tomato and 2 slices of bacon no turkey sandwich. We waited in the drive thru 15 min at the window. It cost me 17 dollars and change for this a bag of chips and a small mango drink. The service at your drive through was horrible my order was wrong and it cost a small fortune. I will never go back and Im sure the line of cars behind me probably feel the same way. The worst drive through service I ever had! I am totally disappointed! I hope you check your barstow, Ca location and fix it. Worst service ever! Shame on you!

From my experience, this Panera is slightly sub-standard. The food and beverages were really good. However, the building was dirty, the order terminals were not operational, and the restroom was not clean, to my standards. Nevertheless, the food came out significantly quicker than other Panera’s I visited.

Panera is a great stop for fresh coffee and good food. Hardest part is trying to decide on what exactly to eat. They also have the new coffee subscription for only $8.99 plus tax!!! That is almost free coffee!!!

This was the first time I had been to a Panera Bakery. The place was clean and well organized and easy to order. In fact there were only a few other people in the restaurant, so there was no wait to use an order station. To be honest, there wasnt much on the menu that sparked my interest, but I ordered a warm bowl. I liked that I could easily remove things from the entré. The food came quickly. But $13 for a bowl of rice with some chicken, tomatoes and avocado seems on the pricy side. But ultimately, the food was bland and uninspired. Probably wont be a repeat customer.

I LOVE Panera, but unfortunately this place does not meet the criteria you expect from Panera. I was traveling & stopped of the freeway for a test. I went here & ordered the simple grilled cheese & tomato soup combo & 2 cinnamon buns at the kiosk.I went around the corner to wait at the pick up station. I was the second on the list for meal being prepared. I ran to the restroom & when I came out. I was next up. So I waited.. They called another name.. I waited. They called another name. I waited, another name below me (w 3 bowls & 3 sandwiches) gets called. Finally, my name was called. I grab my bag & head to my car. Open the bag & Nope. Cold cold cold.I was so disappointed.. The grilled cheese was stiff & cold.. How could that be, I just picked it up at the window?! I ended up tossing it to the birds & grabbed the soup. Unfortunately, that was tepid.Of all things. Their simple soup & sandwich combo, such a simple ask & they couldnt get that right... Horrible.

Perfect pit stop for lunch and restroom on the way to Vegas. Was no wait/line, received our food within 5 minutes after ordering, restrooms were clean, and staff was attentive. Food was fresh, standard Panera menu. Confusing 1 way parking lot that is sometimes hard to nab a spot, but was able to find one. Thank you for making this a great place to take a break.

Panera Bread needs to keep better track of who picks up the delivery orders. Apparently people are able to just walk in and pick up bags of food from the counter without any confirmation from the staff. This resulted in my order being taken by someone else, and forcing my doordash driver to wait extra time. No issue with the order, but this mix up couldve been avoided if the restaurant just asked for delivery confirmation before just letting any random person take bags.

Management and staff are super friendly. I caught this place during a crazy rush of 40 high schoolers or more and my rapid ready order was about 13 minutes late. But the manager was extremely friendly and made sure I was compensated for the long wait. I was also happy to know that she realized I was a regular customer. I do not understand Paneras concept of a menu. Whether you are in-person or viewing the online menu, there are no descriptions or pictures of the items. Therefore, you have to ask the cashier what is on something. She reads off the ingredients quickly, which is so unnecessary - just post it somewhere. They were out of avocado, so I didnt select the Turkey & Avocado BLT...ordered the Turkey Bacon Bravo instead - they were out of the deli turkey and needed to substitute the roasted turkey. So, not well stocked on Sunday nights.. Almost every person in the store had to be asked, Were out of avocado, is that okay? Mmm, not really but what are we supposed to do? Theres not much you can sub it for and theyre not offering $1 off or anything. 2 out of 4 of us changed our orders due to the avocado shortage, then in a bizarre twist...the two people who said no avocado was fine ended up having avocado on their sandwiches!The turkey bacon bravo ended up being pretty good and I did like the mac and cheese. The Chipotle chicken sandwich and tomato soup was nothing special, the Mediterranean warm bowl was okay, nothing too special, and the vegetable soup was great.

The people are very friendly here, however the quality and freshness of the food was severely lacking. We got up early and I ordered bagels; a very small selection, as they did not make any fresh bagels. The bagels we received were definitely not very fresh. I’m very disappointed in myself for continuing my order of a baker’s dozen anyway, but I’m more disappointed in the work ethic at this establishment that thinks stale bread is ok to sell to customers. It tasted several days old. I hope this is resolved by the next time we happen to be in Barstow again.

While looking for a place to get my drink, I was helped by an employee who pointed me in the right direction. Another employee brought us our food very quickly. Had a bad experience twice in 3 days.We were driving north when we decided to pick up breakfast at this location in Barstow. Unfortunately, we were half an hour away until we realized we werent given our drinks.Two days later, we picked up breakfast again on our way back. Almost didnt get our drinks again but this time we remembered to ask and got them. Our relief of getting our drinks was short lived because we were given a wrong sandwich this time. When I went back to complain, our order was replaced but the drive thru attendant was not apologetic at all. The sandwich had meat in it which my wife doesnt eat. We usually stop by Panera on our drive to/from Vegas to avoid the crowds that eat at the more popular places like In-N-Out.Service and the food has always been great until recently. The food quality was subpar. The salad that we ordered was messy with the dressing dripping on the side of the bowl. The taste was very bland. It seems that their quality has gone down recently.

The one star I gave was a mistake. I ordered a panini went to receive my take out order & was told that that my 1/2 sandwich was given to a previous customer. I didnt order a 1/2 sandwich. We no longer have bread for that sandwich. Maybe if the kitchen employees spent more time doing the job instead of talking to each other they could get an order right. At least tell a customer in a timely fashion that a order cannot be filled. Would this have happened if I were WHITE? I hope not because my ethnicity (African American ) aint going away. I did ask for & received my money back. So I guess they do deserve a star for that, & also the fact that the cashier was welcoming and helpful.

Parking is a bit wonky. There are limited spaces so try to have patience. The food is just as good as it always is. The menu may have changed since I last went to Panera. There are self serve kiosk if you dont want to wait in line. They will also bring the food to your table if youre dining in.

Only one star because four times now they have forgotten something we’ve ordered. I thought Panera double checks orders before handing them to the customer it’s inconvenient to drive back because they missed a brownie, onion soup twice & messed up on a food order. This has happened since January this year since we’ve been stationed out here.. I’ve done customer service when I was younger and Barstow is absolutely the worst I’ve never had issues with any other Panera before..

I like to go to this panera for coffee and the occasion of sandwich Yesterday I bought a fruit and yogurt parfait with granola in it and it was Pretty gross because it was out of date and the fruit had started to break down and the liquid in the parfait tasted like something going badd.
