Overall, the customer service is amazing. The self-check out was easy and customer friendly to navigate. There were buzzers available to register our number for our meal. The staff brought us our meal as we waited at the table areas. The hazelnut coffee was warm and fresh. The sandwiches also tasted fresh. The environment is chill, clean and well organized.

Really large Panera.Good food, coffee, baked goods.Lots of seating inside and outside.Both sunny and shady areas outside.Bathroom entry tight for mobility aid users.Busy parking lot.

This is based on my online ordering experience. I was visiting SF and stayed in Mountain View.To avoid any payment hassles, I chose their gift card option and ordered multiple times. About 8 times if I am not mistaken. My experience has been mixed.There has been times when the food arrived on time and was reasonably warm. However, my experience was that the food may not always be warm and the delivery person just about almost always just doesn’t keep it in a warmer. I might suggest this as an option if it takes more than 10 minutes to deliver.As for the leafy options, I feel they are not fresh and seems a bit off. The meat and eggs are well done and I certainly can recommend them.Overall, I am not sure of their delivery options or friendliness of their personals, somethings that may not be in their control.

Update (2 stars): They stopped serving light roast and decaf coffee after 2pm?!Original post (4 stars): This is one of the best Panera vibe wise. However, they said they don’t serve light roast and decaf after 2pm. I never heard that from a Panera before, very weird choice.

Service was awful! They screwed up four of our meals and were terrible about it. After a long delay, one meal came with the wrong side, the second meal, a bread bowl, was not full to the top, missing quite a lot of soup. The third meal only came to us after we waited an additional fifteen minutes and then had to track down someone to and ask THREE TIMES for them to prep the meal. The fourth meal was not clearly written what size it would be so we were charged more than expected.The guy at the register was one of the worst people I’ve encountered in a chain restaurant and was rude when answering our simple questions. The staff were all disrespectful and lacked any empathy towards everything that they screwed up. I’m done with this chain, we never have a good experience at any Panera. They are very overpriced, lack any good staff, and have a boring atmosphere.

A solid Panera experience, and I appreciate having self-serve drinks. The seating isnt great for productivity- the cushions are old and flat, and the tables are too high to comfortably type on. The location is convenient and theres plenty of seating.

Dear Panera,You will always be in my heart forever!This is my all time favorite cafes of all time. The tomato soup is extremely flavorful. The chicken chipotle pizza is a great item to share. The free apple or kettle chips is a bonus. Also, I love the smoothies and beverage choices. If you need a quick meal, stop by ANY Panera and you wont be upset!

Ordered for pickup. I love lady bugs but not in my food. I found a dead bug in my sandwich (top left of picture). Thats really gross and Im questioning their cleanliness... I cant recommend this location... Also the salad was full of dead oxidating leaves... Clearly old, nearly rotting ingredients... *sigh* Panera bread just isnt what it used to be 5-10years ago...

It’s nothing fancy, but it’s good when you want deli or bakery items. The mobile orders are completed quickly, however make sure to grab ALL your food because it’s normally in multiple bags on a shelf. They also forgot my muffin last time, but I think that was a one-time mistake and it’s never happened any other times.

Ok, I love Panera. It is such a classic comfort food. It’s fresh, the portions are generous, and I have never had anything bad there. One of the things I like most about Panera is its consistency. It has the predictability of McDonald’s with the freshness of a local bakery and the quality of a sit down cafe.It’s hard to find good bagels in California (compared to the Midwest or East Coast) but Panera’s are decent, with good cream cheese, and the cinnamon crunch ones are a fun twist.Their mac and cheese is so gooey and creamy and comforting, and their chipotle chicken avocado sandwich reminds me of a Mexican torta. The chicken on sandwiches and salads is always well cooked and tender in a way that I can never get it at home, and the You Pick Two + a side means there’s a ton of different variations to try based on mood. Have a cold? Get two different soups and tea. Got two kids to feed? Give one the half sandwich and the other mac and cheese, for less than the kids menu.Anyway, I digress - but I hope this location stays here for a long time. It’s a healthy and fresh option that reminds me of home and is a million times better than making a quick run to a fast food place, for only a few minutes longer. You can go for any meal of the day from early until late, and find a safe, quiet, calm place to eat or work where no one will rush you and there’s always something new to try.
