July 2023: Fountain drinks not working. I asked if I could get a cup of water for my meal and was told the fountain wasnt working but I could get tea or lemonade. Chicken on sandwich was minimalist, as was the dressing for the salad. Add the fact that we had to clean a table because they were all dirty and the impression is strong that this place has issues with how it is being run.May 2023: No tomato for sandwiches and no lettuce for salads when last visited. Add a somewhat unkept dining area and its just okay.

Absolutely never coming back here. Got a steak and white cheddar whole sandwich and ended up with almost nothing in the sandwich. Seriously, got like 1 small shred of steak in each half and bare minimum of the other ingredients as well. The most pathetic sandwich Ive ever had. Complete waste of money and will definitely not go back.

I give four out five stars because there’s always room for improvement. April 13 2022, I had the you pick 2 special, Spicy chicken sandwich with turkey chili for $20.05 both were good and would buy again… I was highly surprised / disappointed that they didn’t offer military discounts here especially with the high military presence / residents that live in this community… I’ve done a lot of travels across this country and this is the first location that I’ve experienced not offering the military discount…

I ordered the Mediterranean bowl with a side of baguette. I wish the bread was a little less salty and that there was more Greek yogurt, but other than that, it was pretty good.Good atmosphere thats great for getting some work done. I asked, and they apparently had free WiFi. My computer was unable to find the network so I unfortunately ended up using my hotspot.

Every single time we have ordered delivery or even pick up, they get the order wrong. Literally every time. Dont bother customizing and paying for extras because youre not getting them anyways, and youll most likely still be missing items regardless.

I had came here a couple days ago with my 8 year old daughter for lunch. I had the displeasure of an encounter with an associate (aprox. 511 man with a blonde buzzcut and alot of tattoos.) I had a question about my order and he had responded incoherently to which I asked again and he said Sorry I am a bit faded in front of my daughter. This scared my daughter and we had to leave shortly after. Very disappointed in this kind of service and unprofessionalism, and as a Mother I am very angry.

Typical Panera style food. Had the bowl of french onion soup and the blood orange lemonade drink. I thought the serving size was a bit small for a bowl but the flavor was very good. Fast service. They even have several self serve screens to order if you dont want to stand in line. The butter was very hard. They should consider not having it so cold so it spreads on the bread better. Lunch time was very busy but noted several people taking up seats doing work and not eating. Staff did table clean up quickly. Worth the visit.

Ordered a lot of food which I drove to pick up. One of the 5 items was a full sized steak sandwich. The ciabatta bread was not available so replaced with sourdough. The white cheddar wasn’t available so replace with fresh mozzarella. Received no steak. Tried to call to speak to a person. Called 5 times over 20 minutes. No answer and it hangs up after ringing approximately 10times. Poor customer service. In order to get what I paid for, is to drive back to ask in person. I get it, everywhere is short staffed. But the order was clear. Paid a lot of money for cold food and not what I paid for.

Stopped by to pick up a pastry. Service was very slow for a breakfast rush. Only had 1 cashier who was taking her sweet time. There were more than 4 people in line. The drive thru line was even worse. You know people are in a rush that early in the morning to get to work. I know I would not come back here to pick up anything in the morning on my way to work. As for the pastry, I have had better ones at other Paneras.

Ordered the new Pepperoni and Mozzarella sub. First off, don’t waste your money on this sub. The sub had burnt mozzarella that stuck to the bread so it basically tasted like it didn’t have any cheese at all. They put probably 5 small pepperonis on the sandwich. I added ingredients from my own kitchen to make this $13 sub taste good. Very disappointed.

Im divided on this location. I have been there twice in 5 days. First visit was delicious. The broccoli and cheese soup with the hunk of bread absolutely delicious. Tuesdays visit exact opposite. I ordered a tuna sandwich. Big mistake!! I believe the bread (whole wheat) was stale with hard crusts (untoasted), barely any tuna salad, overabundance of leafy lettuce, 2 tomato slices, and a 3 piece of red onion. The little bit of tuna was lost in the total overabundance of leafy lettuce and tomatoe slices. I, myself, put onion in my tuna salad not a 3 slice on the sandwich. Totally a disappointment! I guess Ill stick to the broccoli and cheese soup!

Only the third time at a Panera and the first at this location. I wanted to take the family out for lunch somewhere different. What a mistake! When ordering, she couldn’t explain to Take Two deal to me. When our order came up, they had forgotten part of it. Portion sizes were extremely small for the high price you pay. When it arrived, the food looked pathetic looking. And when I asked for a box to go, they couldn’t find a box big enough for the sandwich they just made for me. I got a refund and will never, ever go back. Why is this chain still in business?

Ordered dinner with a pick 2 choice. Only to get home and find my 1/2 sandwich was missing. Called and the young lady took my name and phone number and said she would add it to a Panera Bread Account. I did not previously have one. Went back in 4 nights later, gave my phone number, they couldn’t find it and couldn’t figure out how to ‘take care of the problem.’ It was late, I’m diabetic, my BG was crashing and I had my daughter with me so I asked that they just take a new order to move it along. While talking to my daughter I called them a ‘disaster’ and the young lady told me to leave as I was being ‘aggressive‘. First, they are a disaster, second I wasn’t aggressive or even disrespectful, and thirdly, their manager then gave me a card with her number at the store on it, instead of the number for the district manager that I had asked for. Their customer service is horrible, and this is our 3rd experience there, with all of them being disappointing. Save your frustration and drive to the next Panera.

This one particular location...Always out of everything...doesnt matter what time you come in. I am a sip club member, the coffees are always empty...hot water is never hot. Tonight, 7:30pm, they close at 9:30pm,...looks like they are ready to close now, no bagels, no pastries, no cookies, no coffee, no breads. No teriyaki sauce, no ketchup...out of every other item. They did have cinnamon rolls, so we opted for one...stale.I go to the Temecula location often, occasionally they run out of some items, but never like this one.

Ann was amazing, she saw we had kids and she did an awesome job at trying to keep them quiet with bringing treats and their hot chocolates out way earlier then the food. She also went out above and beyond and brought our meals right to our table due to us being occupied with the kids. Her customer service was absolutely exceptional. I really do believe she has what it takes to be a manager, she approaches you with absolute kindness and she seems to love her job.

Honestly, I feel this location struggles. Maybe you all need to call the Lake Elsinore location, because they dont skip a beat. Today, my Mediterranean sandwich was lacking ingredients. Everytime I order the onion soup they never give croutons with it. I ordered the other day a Baja bowl with chicken it did not have chicken, but I was charged for it. Step it up! Murrieta is better then this.. Im hoping with some distance on this location it gets better. From now on Lake Elsinore will have my work business and when Im craving at home Ill go to Barons for a salad. Try back again in six months..

I usually order from my local Panera, but they ran out of the bagels I wanted, so I ordered from the Murrieta location.I ordered a dozen bagels on line, paid for it and order was confirmed for pick up. I sent my daughter to pick them up, keep in mind that gas is over $6.00 a gallon....she was told the bagels were sold and they cancelled the order, but NEVER contacted us. A refund was offered, but the inconvenience was worth so much more than the product ordered. If the product was paid for and confirmed ready, then how did they get sold? It was more than just not getting what I ordered, but a waste of TIME and gas! Sorry is just not acceptable. There is a flaw in the online system or this specific location.

Although it had a nice piece of grilled chicken, the sandwich was really blah especially compared to other chicken sandwiches from other venders. It was also priced at $12. This panera is close on my way to work and lately I have been doing the online orders lately to avoid the unexpected drive thru lines. It does not matter if it is drive thru, order in store, or online. Every time I ask for two bagels: one sliced and toasted the other just sliced. They both get sliced and toasted or not at all. To avoid this, I ask for them to only be sliced. I get sliced and toasted...it is on my receipt and it makes me feel that the morning staff does not care because they rather chill and talk. I have ordered breakfast sandwiches before too, only to have a missing item from it, such as cheese. I have had milk missing from my coffee before and I am writing this review in hopes that someone will see this feedback. I dont like to waste food and I hate writing reviews like this because I order simple orders.

I think the place is great and deserves a 5 star rate. The only problem we have been having are the servers delivering our food to the table. On 01/20/2019, my daughter and I went for lunch and the server (Ally) practically tossed our food on the table. With no personality or apology. Not even a Im so sorry. We ordered this through door dash and the driver waited over 30-40 minutes for our order. Panera informed him that they only handle customers that are in the store first before they do online orders. If you can’t handle online and in store orders then you shouldn’t do both. We ordered our food an hour ago and this was unacceptable! The food is usually good, but this location is a joke. They have forgot items in my order multiple times.First few times it happened I didn’t do anything about it. I know we’re all human and mistakes happen. But it continued to happen on multiple occasions and I was finally fed up with paying money for food I don’t receive. I went back the same week to order more food gave them my receipt from my previous visit and asked them if they could add on the sandwich that was forgotten from that order. The lady did so without a problem, but I got home only to realize they forgot my son’s order this time. I immediately called them but no one answered. Called over and over again with no answer. So fed up by this point I just drove back and asked to speak to a manger. The girl at the front register went to go get her for me and came back to tell me she was in the middle of something right now but would come up shortly. Waited about 10 minutes mins and the girl noticed I was still waiting so went a second time to get the manager for me. Came back to tell me she’s still busy but would be up soon… again. Waited another 5 minutes— still no manager. I finally just walked out. I had all the intention of calling HR on the situation, but then I decided I didn’t want to give this any more of my time. Money talks louder and I will not be giving this company any more of mine.Unfortunate because I like the food and so do my kids (only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1) so we eat here often. Guess we have to find a new place now.

We order bread and rolls from this location all the time. Have never had an issue. I ordered the fourth pack of brioche rolls and got there about 40 minutes later than the timeslot I picked. They had forgot to set the rolls aside and there was only two left when I got there. I love going to Panera for salads. I am a widow and I don’t enjoy cooking for one. Today, I went to try another turkey sandwich and I cannot say enough good about how delicious it was. I bought one last week and it didn’t compare to the one today. My only complaint is each cook who makes them has not been taught the same way. Very dissatisfied, I ordered on line for delivery, it was delivered in a timely manner with door dash. When I checked my order I was missing a sandwich so I called to let them know and they had me on hold for awhile and had to keep putting me on hold, then told me I would have to come in they would not deliver it or have it delivered. I went in and they refused to refund me the delivery charge said I would have to go thru door dash even though it wasnt their fault. As I waited for my sandwich they messed up another customers order, the guy behind the counter just laughed and said my bad. When my sandwich was up it was the wrong sandwich and had to make again. No apologys . I will not be back.

Over priced. Manager would not honor a discount that was from a previous visit where order was completely messed up. Was told wed have a discount waiting for us on our next visit. Manager could not find any info regarding transaction so therefore would not even apologize or offer any other discount. Poor customer service. It is difficult to write a negative review because I believe Panera Bread overall has quality food that is healthy and you get what you pay for. However, I have gone to this Murrieta branch several times and every single time I have gone, they have messed up my order. One time I went through the drive thru and they gave me the entire order wrong, which ended up being for the car in front of me. They have apologized and even provided me coupons on certain visits to help remedy the solution, but the same issues continue to occur over and over again. I went this evening to see if anything has changed with this location and the drive thru was closed and the in-dining was closed as well at 7pm. Unbelievable! I guess I will have to drive a farther distance to go to the Menifee location, which is a night and day experience from the Murrieta branch.

Like the fact I can go there and get work done or reviewed on my laptop and even have choices of soups, salads, dessert pastries or muffins, bagels, and sandwiches (breakfast, lunch, or dinner style, if preferred), iced cold or hot drinks throughout the time Im there. The food is pretty good at times I would say close to great! The staff, at least I can say for this one are friendly and courteous as I chat with a few of them from time to time! Horrible service, this morning I ordered an “order pick up” on my phone for “15 bagels”. In the description it says toasted and slices. they took for ever to give it to me even though I got there 20 minutes after I ordered it. On top of that, they didn’t toast it nor slices it. Store was supposed to be open at 6am.. I was there at 6:20 and the doors were locked. Employees were inside but they werent open. Frustrating and a waste of my time...grrrt
