First time eating at Panera. Ive always thought it was just a bakery. Very pleasantly surprised at how yummy the flatbread was. We had the Chipotle chicken and bacon and it was delicious! Definitely would come back again.

I like eating here when I am at the Camarillo Outlet mall. It is located at the end of a section of the mall and usually has plenty of parking. The menu is comfort food, sandwiches, soups, salads and they have good bread and pastries.When you order a meal it typically comes with a choice of bread, apple slices or chips.There is indoor and outdoor seating and servers bring your meal to your table.Very casual and comfortable atmosphere.

I love Panera, heck I even worked at one for a while and it has always been remarkably consistent for me. This is the first time I had been to the Cam one and I got it delivered. I realize that Panera is not responsible for delievery but I did not appreciate that the soup was so under filled and overly salty. I am pretty sure I just got the bottom of the barrel metaphorically as well as literally. My point is that 10 noodles and a carrot or two in over salted vegetable stock is not worth $9. The sandwich and the baguette were solid Panera quality, but the soup (the reason I went to Panera) was hardly worth eating.

Teriyaki bowl??? More like half-empty teriyaki saucer. Smallest portions I have ever seen. It looked like somebody ate half of it, then brought us the rest. We left hungry, and for $40, we wont come back here again. In addition, we received uninspired fast food level service. Two stars only because we were able to find a clean-ish booth to sit at.

Wrenched. We been to dozens of these restaurant locations, and it is a family favorite for lunch. This location was a mess. The staff seemed indifferent to customers, the order was wrong, cold, and slow (despite being one of only a few customers). Its shocking that such a seemingly well run company could let this location exist.

The worst experience ever! I came in and ordered a coffee and a margherita flatbread. After waiting - 15 minutes later I was told that they are out of the flatbread. I told the waitress that I’ll get up and check what else I can order as a replacement. After getting up right away, 1 minute later the waitress disappeared. So I told another waitress that I’m going to take the mac n cheese instead, and she asked me if i’m going to order. So I told her that someone told me that they are out of the flatbread and she said that she will let them know. I sat down waited another 30 minutes, until someone came and asked me if i got my food - And no I did not. Then they asked me what drink I ordered, and then asked me what size. Are you serious! I was able to cancel my order and they issued a refund. My expectations were high and I just wasted 45 minutes for nothing. Go to your nearest Starbucks the service is much better. Never going to Panera Bread again.

So I went to Panera this afternoon and to my displeasure I found mold and plastic in my Mac and cheese. I called them to inform them about the issue and they hung up on me. I would expect better from Panera. For your own sake do not come here unless you want moldy Mac and cheese.

We dont know if this is a new company policy, an overworked or lazy staff but we had almost no chicken on any of our dishes. Very little chicken on our Chipotle Chicken Avocado sandwiches, only a few tiny pieces of Chicken in our Asian Crunch Chicken Salad. Messed up our dessert as well, due to a missing item and having to go ask about our desert after waiting for 30 minutes for it.

Visiting from NV and used to Love Panera but this location is disgusting. Picked up a salad last week and it was messy and employees uncaring but I thought it was late in the day so maybe it had been a long busy day. Went this morning first thing and waited while the employees shared whatever on their phones. No fresh clean smell not even fresh baking smell. Didn’t have any of my favorites so got a chocolate croissant that later seemed the filling was sour 🥴 maybe spoiled? When I got my drink the trash was full (8:15 am) water running all over the counter from soda machine and employees standing around just visiting. My kids live in Camarillo but I will not be back when I visit next time 😞. Sad the owners must not be local or dont care. 👎

Went in 40 minutes before closing and the workers were very disrespectful when we wanted to eat inside. Brunette girl with braids had AirPods in and only gave the option to take our food to go saying “we close soon will you be done by then”. Blonde girl in pony tail was giving rude looks to us constantly. The two workers were making faces at each other insinuating that we were a bother. Overall will not be coming back because of the unfriendly and unprofessional staff.

So unfortunately I did not have a good experience this time around. I ordered online for a rapid pick up because I work in the mall and theyre usually super fast and its really convenient. BUT I had a customer service issue when I called when I got back to work to eat my lunch, mind you not even 2min driving distance from the restaurant. The kitchen manager on duty, female, who answered did not handle the situation very well. I ordered at 530, ready to pick up by 540. I get there at 532 (like I said super close) Im not expecting it to be ready (even though it has been in the past cuz theyre that fast!) Im standing there by the rapid pick up area and I see my order behind the counter (making me to believe not all items are ready, totally fine) BUT I proceed to stand there until 545 with no one saying anything to me and no one put anything more in my bag until the same employee that answered the phone (I know that because she admitted that she prepared my order) came up to me asking if I was waiting for a rapid pick up order and I said yes, its been behind the counter for over 10 min not touched. She had someone elses order ready. So of course I go back to work to eat it and my sandwich is hard & cold and my apple is rotten. But the best part is when I call to let them know and somewhat complain, all she offers is another apple. I was not expecting a free meal or anything but at least an apology for no acknowledgement of my presence and for the wait. The mac & cheese was delicious as always but my experience was absolutely ruined because of her attitude, excuses, not admitting her fault and not handling a customer service issue very well/professionally. Especially me being a fellow store manager in customer service. I know for a fact if I was sitting down at your restaurant you wouldve handled the situation differently but It was over the phone and not face to face which is still NO EXCUSE.

It was and empty Monday night. Only the cashier was professional. Our food was delivered to our table without a eating utensil. l had to go to the pick up counter and ask for a fork where nine was available in thr common area. We got the Pepperoni mozzarella melt that was unpleasant., I mean, it was like there was a shortage of tomatoes for the marinara sauce and then only 6 slices of pepperoni, but at least it was warm. Maybe post a picture of the food they are preparing in front of the preparer for better results. We shouldnt have to pay inflation prices for poorly prepared meals.

Hadnt had panera for a while. And maybe it was a good thing or we need to try a different location... ordered 3 of the new pepperoni sandwiches. They were horrible. All 3 were different sizes, they had maybe 5 or 6 pieces of pepperoni and a couple pieces of cheese on the whole sandwich.(it was laughable how plain they were, wish i wouldve take a picture) There was hardly any marinera so the sandwiches were so dry. They were basically 40 dollar baguettes. They were not edible. Paid 40 bucks for dinner and had to get food from somewhere else after. So ended up being an 80 dollar dinner. Lmao. Went there for early dinner on Wednesday, Sept 21, 2022, The chicken soup was thin, watery plus salty and only few chunks of processed chicken. The grilled chicken avocado sandwich was pretty good. My Caesar salad was ok. But, I’ll bet no one has cleaned the soda machine recently, because the water tasted moldy and foul.Worst of all, the place was dirty. The carpet was stained plus it needed vacuuming and the windows and sills were dirty, In the bathroom, my wife found the sink dirty and the floors were filthy. She said, the bathroom was just gross. Honestly. I got the impression they are in deep financial trouble or the management is nonexistent. That’s the only “reason” I can think of to let things slide like this. You’ve been warned. Don’t go to this Panera Bread. Read the reviews.The cookie cutter, meaningless reply by “management” was expected. I won’t be responding to the offer because the place will still be unsanitary. Customers have been complaining about this restaurant for a long time and nothing changes. First of all this restaurant is absolutely disgusting. The carpet looks like it is original to the building from the 90s and hasnt been touched since. The furniture is equally worn and dated. Secondly I ordered a turkey BLT sandwich with avocado and the turkey looked like it was once chewer and spat out on the sandwich. I have never seen turkey meat look so unappetizing. The tomatos in the sandwich were soggy and seemed old. I would not recommend anyone step foot in this Panera. The health department should inspect the place and their food. Also every drink from the soda machine has an awful taste that plagues all restaurants in Camarillo.

This place is not sanitary whatever crew was there 05/25/22 is very slow, provided bland food. The dinning area was filthy. The busser was standing by the trash cans trying to engage conversation with guests when there was clearly a bunch of tables with dishes and old food stains. The service was a little slower than I wouldve liked --i was on my lunch break and it took the whole thing. But, the salad I got was amazing! It was the Spicy Thai Chicken salad and the Napa Almond Chicken Salad sandwich was really good too. They messed up my salad but after I called to inform them, they refunded me the whole thing and gave me another free salad. Very good management, nice people, and good food. Visiting from out of town. After we ordered, after waitiing 10 mins to order (shouldve been a sign), we waited 10 mins in a water pick up line. Then we sat down and waited for 45 minutes for our order. In that time i watched they continuously took orders but no food was coming out. For every 7 to 8 orders maybe one order came out.We waited as the beverage maker guy offered online or app pick up people extra pastries and drinks for their wait but no one in the dining room waiting were offered anything.40 minutes went by, i went to check, our order hadnt even been made yet. I asked for a refund and that took 10 minutes still to do. The girl who was doing my refund offered no remorse or apology, nor eye contact. The manager continued on his merry way cutting bread.Mean while, the few people before me who ordered continued to wait and no apologies or acknowledgement of delays were even relayed to them.The sad part was, everytime someone went up to check, they just kept lying to them and said just another minute.

I’ve been going to this Panera in Camarillo near the outlet for awhile now and this just a bad experience in general. I ordered coffee and beagles for me and my mom and the wait time is just astonishingly long. We waited for our beagles for 15 mins without our coffee. We waited for at least five more minutes before I decided to let them know that where still waiting for our coffees twice and yes they delivered our coffees but after 30 minutes of waiting but they told us that there out of this coffee. It’s just disappointing that after that mishap, the employees didn’t even apologize for their mistake. They did try to offer us free pastries but we prefer an acknowledgement of mistake but no... During my experience employees seem to not care on what they do, the service is bad and there’s no ounce of hospitality in the store. The team manager Salvador is a delight to talk to. He offered to refund our order and took time to listen to our concerns. He is a model employee which the other staff neglect to even adapt or copy his actions. I do not recommend this to other customers but if your okay with waiting for 30 mins for coffee and get bad customer service, you are crazy.

My pregnant wife was craving some of the broccoli cheddar soup from Panera. She ordered the largest bowl of soup there was and I got a full salad. The soup was just about the actual size of 1 cup (the measurement) and the chicken salad was skimpy. The apple that came with was more wrinkly than any apple I have ever seen. And it was $22. Wont be going back.

I loved the cashiers, great customer service, but when I got my food my chicken melt was not hot at all the cheese was not even melted and the salad I got was missing half the ingredients when I asked for them to remake it the manager Salvador Loma gave me attitude then I asked for a free pastry like it says so in the receipt he asked me why do I deserve a free pastry I told him I was unsatisfied and he gave me attitude about it. I placed an order for two coffee totes on the app for ASAP pick up, and I got there almost a half hour later and it wasnt ready. So I let the girl at the counter who was super helpful know and then I ordered the pastries that I couldnt order online. The person who was making the coffee was told two totes of light roast but made hazelnut!! So the counter girl went and took the light roast from the restaurants made supply. And then I had to wait for the light roast to be done. And then I was asked if I needed cups (I ordered totes of coffee of course I need cups). I got everything I needed, just not thrilled with the lack of common sense for one of the people who was helping me.

At 10.89 per salad for the full, honestly insane. Placed an order online and when I went to pick it up it wasnt ready (as stated it would be) and they didnt have a third of the bagels we wanted. Panera as a company provides delicious food. This one in particular is extremely lackluster. My sandwiches have been consistently soggy and missing key ingredients (i.e. getting a roaster turkey and avocado BLT without avocado). They consistently wrap the pickles in with the sandwiches so it becomes sour and gross. They also do not provide an adequate bagel and cream cheese selection in the mornings. They also employ the most dead-eyed staff possible. Not one smile or a polite how are you? Just quick and dirty. Thats how they take their orders, make their sandwiches, and leave you fifteen bucks poorer.

The water is disgusting - in no way filtered, and worse than tap water.The ice machine was down, but you didnt find out until after paying for a drink. Instead, a typed sign was on the soda machine. I guess its been down a while if they bothered to type it up.After waiting a bit for food, my husband got our food from the kitchen area where the servers are supposed to pick it up.My sons PB&J was on the stalest, hardest white bread Ive ever touched. The crust was inedible. The middle was hard. I cant believe that a food preparer thought it was OK to send out food on that bread, instead of throwing away the rest of the loaf.

I like the soup the soup flavors they offer at this location are very tasty and have a variety of soups to choose from like chicken noodle soup which is my favorite and tomato soup with a grilled cheese and the broccoli cheddar which is good for a cold day 🥶 I love the bread bowls they are so bready and fluffy 🥖 I would always recommend the soup from this place any day i always have soup from Panera anytime I go 😌😆 it’s the best I’ve ever had 😁 and I’m glad that it stayed open during the pandemic 😷 and they are doing a good job 👍 handling the COVID situation this place is a 10/10 and I recommend 😌😁 👍
