Panera is a great option to study or get some work done. I feel like it has a subtler atmosphere than SB. I also love that theres a lot of food option to fill you up when youre studying/working.I love their carrot cupcake, its one of the best I have tried. Also recommend their tomoto soup, its perfect with the bread. The sandwiches are hit or miss depending on the freshness of the bread. I personally do not like sourdough for my sandwich. It goes well with soup.This location in Vista is quiet even when it gets busy. I can easily find a small nook and plug in my laptop and work away without being bothered by noise. The staff here always makes sure the place is clean and well kept.

I ordered the Asian salad half order and it was alright … little chicken. My friend ordered the soup and sandwich. She wanted to try the chicken cordon Bleu…. It was basically a ham sandwich. Lots of ham and bread a tiny piece of chicken. Not worth the price.

Got Pick-Up catering for my job and they knocked it out of the park! I usually have issues with missing item or wrongs items but not here, this location is clean and friendly. The catering was for 20 people and the employee (wished I got his name) was super friendly even helped me take it to my car over all 10/10 THANK YOU!!

This is the best Panera in San Diego County and I have been to most of them. Obvious its new and has a drive thru but it is the quality of its employees and their management that makes this place shine. As far as I know they are the last Panera that works on a trust system for sip cups, which is a testament to their commitment to their customers.Food is great, drinks are made well and availability is always there even if the app says its not.Their staff is extremely attentive remembering peoples orders and special instructions. Walking around checking on everyone and always making sure everyone feels appreciated. I remember one individuals order being wrong, they forgot to remove onions and the staff handled it quickly, with a replacement, a free drink and a dessert after all that.Facilities here are great with multiple outlets, USB A and USB C and 30W charging which is decent in 2023.They also have free EV chargers throughout the commercial area which are amazing, and please note the tenants do pay for this in their NNN costs so everyone please support all of these businesses here as this will create further incentives for these projects at the city and business level.

Joe was not very helpful when I was trying to order I asked for another small cream cheese and they tried to charge me $3 for it (like .75 okay maybe but $3) plus the $9 I already spend on a dry bacon egg and cheese I paid more for it to be on a bagel. Similar to hotel breakfast but hotel breakfast is at least free.

Worst experience Ive ever had at a Panera so disappointing. I rarely write reviews but this one takes the cake. I ordered online for pickup and when I get home the whole is wrong. So instead of spending a nice family dinner with my family im driving another 20 minutes with a hubgry family waiting. After I call the store not only that they ask if I want it remade or just not come back, so I have it remade and when i return to tbe location the staff is complete6 unhelpful and instead of taking care of customers they are taking selfies in the food window. Very unprofessional will probably never come back to this location.

Paid $10 +tip for a “Half” Asian Sesame Salad, thinking it would still be substantial… this is what I got, TWO bites.The service at this location was fast and the servers were so friendly and very personable. That is why I’m giving them 2 stars.As for the corporate office who oversees the portions… WTH Panera?!?!Update: For comparison, see the new updated photo a few days later. It shows a Half Summer Salad from Privateer in Oceanside, it’s sooo much bigger and it even has fruit!… The Summer Salad from Privateer also managed to feed two people.

Was bummed at the quality of food. Ordered the pick 2 that included a ham sandwich and a salad. The salad bowl was dirty and the sandwich was sad. The coffee was lukewarm and there wasnt much variety.This place is known to be a great place to hang out to study or meet up with people. I was really hoping the food was great.

I could go here every day of the week, the menu is great, decently healthy, and had a lot of offerings. Staff are friendly and helpful and the tables are spread apart. Great for getting work done or meeting a friend for lunch.

Panera has some nice sandwiches and excellent soups but theyre a little on the higher end of average. This isnt our Panera (this is reviewing LaMesa) and Im glad. This one is showing its age. There are a couple ceiling tiles out of place, the floor was dirty, there are areas of torn or missing carpet under tables. We were there between the lunch and dinner rush; the unkept dining area was more than just being busy.As per the food, I got 1/2 a sandwich and cup of soup. My vegetable soup was excellent and the serving was adequate.I was less than impressed with the sandwich. In my opinion, about a 1/5 - 1/4 cup of tuna fish is negligible for a sandwich that is served on a hearty roll. The ratio of protein to carb is way off and there wasnt enough to balance out the density of the roll. I wont purchase the tuna sandwich again.Hubby got the chipotle chicken sandwich. He said there was no chipotle flavor. When he inquired about the lack of flavor, he was told that its only a chipotle mayo and next time ask for extra paprika. Not the kind of answer I expected.Over All - 👎

Has always seemed a little pricey, but as everything else has climbed, Im inclined to think its not so bad now, given the mandate for quality ingredients, vs. overpriced fast food that doesnt taste nearly as good. Their system for ordering and calling you when food is ready needs to be better, but otherwise, its worth the occasional splurge for lunch food.

Do not order delivery or pick-up delivery from this store. Items were missing and only option was credit or come in tonight for items missing. Defeats the purpose of pick-up delivery. Order Checked By on delivery receipt not signed by anyone suggesting zero quality control confirming order accuracy. All I was looking for was a refund back to method of payment for item missing like every other restaurant is capable of doing when item(s) missed. The shift supervisor Ami, initially told me she was the store manager when i asked to speak with the manager. When I inquired further, she admitted she was only shift supervisor, and the store manager Tina was on break and could not discuss the decrepancy with my order. Poorly managed store.

I have to ask a bag with a handle for this kinda big order . The reason why I ask the a bag with a handle is because I saw the girls before me had one and it seemed to be light meaning it wasn’t a big order . I was given just a big bag WITH NO Handle, and one of the orders was soup . Please improve this kind of service who picks certain people to give special service .

When did Panera become self service? We went there for dinner and instead of an employee bringing us our food, we had to go up to the counter to get it! And to add insult to injury, the cashier asked us to bus our own tables??!! We ordered 2 Pick Two sandwich/soup or salad combos, a side cup of soup and two large drinks. I am older with some difficulty walking (cane) and I had to go back and forth 3 times to get our food, plus another handful of times to refill drinks, etc. And the total was $43.00! Then they ask (suggest) for a tip before you complete your card transaction. For what? No server, no busboy, nothing! The food was okay. Yes, I understand that restaurants are having a hard time finding workers, but if you are going to expect self service from your patrons, you should reduce your pricing accordingly. $3.50 for a large soft drink! $43 for what we ordered is way too much for what you have to go through at this place. I am not returning unless something changes!

Well to start off the macaroni was so cold not even lukewarm. The carrots tasted frozen and it was heavily salted. The Asian style salad was so heavily sauced that it made my tongue raw 1/10 will not be coming back. Broken urinal causing the mens restroom to be covered in urine for days. Eventually they covered the urinal with a black bag but never bothered to repair it. You would think that a place that charges $8.99+tax for half a grilled cheese and a cup of tomato soup would be able to repair a urinal quickly. Disgusting.

DONT GO TO THE VISTA, CA LOCATION! Their AC has been out for over a month with NO plans to fix, maybe due to a move. Only saw ONE cheap box fan to cool entire place! Bathroom had one DIM light -Stalls were literally dark, unlit. Gave 2stars because staff were so nice despite having to work in these horrible conditions. When this happened at my office, I got portable AC units for $300 ea. I think Panera could afford that. SHAME ON PANERA.

I used to love this place but not now September 6th.2021 When I first came here everything was great. Ive spent hundreds of dollars here.They gave you a generous amount of tuna on the sandwich, included a pickle and had a great balsamic glaze offered in the condiments. The last 2 times there wasnt even a single scoop of tuna on the dry bread, they tried to fill in with lettuce tomatoes and onion. NEVER ORDER DOORDASH FROM HERE!!!! I keep giving them chances to be better and they keep failing. Because it’s doordash, they can get away with messing everything up and not getting reprimanded for it. It’s been about 6 or 7 times that they’ve forgotten ingredients or used different bread without telling anyone. This last time, I ordered the Roasted Turkey Avocado BLT. It had the right bread, but there was no mayo at all, there was only one small slice of bacon on each half, AND THEY USED CHICKEN INSTEAD!!! Salad chicken. I’ve been a customer for 6 years and never have I gotten chicken instead of turkey. One time, they used sliced turkey instead of their normal turkey and didn’t say anything. Disappointing location. I got the urge to go here for the first time in a long time, and was craving specific items on the menu. Ordered everything no problem, everything on the receipt was right, but whoever was in the kitchen making/packing my order got it all wrong. (Wasnt even a lot of items either.) I got all the way home, so excited to eat what I thought I ordered, I got the wrong soup, they didnt give me my pastry I ordered, my salad had chicken in it when I requested no chicken (twice), and they didnt give me a baguette that was supposed to be included with one of the meals. Do better, people!! I get it, I work in food service too and things/mix ups happen, but this was all kinds of wrong, and it really irritated me because I didnt have time to go all the way back and resolve it so I just let it go. The reason why I am taking the time to rate this location is because customer service goes a long way. It’s poor here. I drove far just to be told when I got here that you had no bread bowls. Let your customers know when you are out of orders so they don’t travel long distances just to not receive their orders via curbside pickup. I do not recommend curbside pick up at this location.

First time in Panera was just there to get some coffee cake. Spoke to a man at the register and asked if they have any and he says yes but none are ready. So me wanting coffee cake I asked how long will it take and he says “they are in the freezer come back tomorrow”. But you see I can smellllllllll lazy (I got tons of lazy coworkers) so I decided to order online. Order was ready in about 5 minutes. This is a great place to sit and work on your laptop computer or have a small meeting. The quality of food is good. The portion sizes seem to be shrinking. Even a large drink is a lot smaller than it used to be. The selection of pastries has been reduced. We came in at 2 PM and they were out of breadbowls.

Maybe the staff had an off day? We had to wait almost 10 minutes before getting our order taken, while there was only about 5 other tables sat. They were basically empty. There were dirty tables and we could hear the kitchen yelling out which soups they were out of so that the manager (?) had to ask the couple who ordered behind me-at this point they had paid and were sitting waiting for their food- if they could pick something else. The food however was good. I probably wouldnt come back to this location though.

Ive been to several Panera Bread locations but this had to be one of the worst Ive been to. The decor inside is equal to other locations but the staff and the food were definitely not up to par! Perhaps they were having a poor evening, but since this was my first visit to their location, not only did the food leave a bad taste in my mouth but so did the service at this location. I would not recommend this to family and friends!

I ordered online a Madagascar Vanilla Almond Cold Brew in a large 20oz for online pick up. When the lady handled me my drink it was a small 16oz. This location has messed up on my pick up order before but today I needed to received what I paid for. So I went inside and the only employee that was available was MIsel. I requested Misel if he can remake my drink in the correct size and with a harsh attitude he took my drink and and came back and gave me a large cup of almond milk and syrup. No cold brew was in the cup. It did appear to me like he doesnt enjoy his job. So I went to my car and was about to leave but I wasnt satisfied with the cold brew (it was just almond milk) and the way the employe handled the situation. I believe it was an easy fix. I paid for a large and I received a small. I went back to store and requested a refund. The manager understood and agreed it was an easy fix and apologized for the employees behavior..

I ordered the Creamy Tomato soup (with an Apple on the side), a strawberry smoothie, and a candy cookie (basically a huge M&Ms cookie). All of them tasted fantastic. The soup was thick and full of flavor, the Apple was nice and fresh, the smoothie was not only just smooth but nice and sweet, and the cookie was as soft and tasty as homemade cookies.Although Im a meat eater, I find the soup to be great for vegetarians as well!

This place is too expensive. Their pick 2 rings up at $13 bucks! So half a sandwich and some lettuce with a few toppings is $15 after tax? I love the apple fuji salad but they barely put any dressing on it I always have to ask for more. And they dont cut the tomatoes small enough so they are like huge chunking things. This is by far the worst Panera I have ever been to. First I ordered door dash and even though my driver took 20 mins to arrive he waited at the restaurant for 15 mins, I thought it was a fluke and he was getting his own food or something. Then I ordered a bagel for rapid pickup at 10am on a Tuesday...I sat there with my toddler screaming eat for 10 minutes as I watched 4 employees standing around chatting. Finally a manager walked in, looked at me, grabbed the bagel and I left in about 30 seconds. Today my husband waited 15 minutes past pickup time for our rapid pickup order, when he finally asked someone it was just sitting behind the counter ready to go. I’m in shock at how incompetent they’ve been every time and I won’t be back.

Im usually a regular at Panera Bread but I will not return to this location. As I ordered with my family, the host did not know how to use the POS machine and made many errors. Then as we ordered, they didnt have anything left on their menu. So we were forced to order a very basic meal. As it came out, we found out we were charged for the items we originally wanted that were not available.The food was subpar and the whole place was dirty. I have been to several Panera bread in my life and was very disappointed in my recent visit to this location. As soon as we walked in, the floor was sticky everywhere. Many tables were covered in dirty plates. I know Panera encourages people to stick around and use their Wi-Fi but some of those people were setting up shop in a way that made it hard for others to enjoy their food.

So I walked in and was greeted by this wonderful smilling lady named Cheyenne. I hope I spelled that correctly great service I got a pick 2 with the green goddess salad and the avocado melt. I had no idea it was going to happen like this. This sandwich was delectable. The salad tastes so fresh and new and wonderfully flavored. Paired with the green ice tea and the pumpkin muffie I was floored!!! My taste buds are singing. I DO NOT WRITE REVIEWS GUYS. IM NOT GETTING PAID FOR THIS. Dont bother using the rapid pick-up. Everytime I do, I watch people walk in, get in line order, and get their food before I do. All while Im sitting on a bench. I chose the location on Vista Village in Vista, CA,now, the service was seemingly up to par.I ordered a very simple order, just a strawberry smoothie and it was actually very good,quite different from Robeks or Jamba Juice but the only problem I had with the difference from those two other smoothie serving franchises was the size.I payed five dollars,$4.99 to be exact and it was quite small where as with Robeks or Jamba Juice the size for even five bucks would have been bigger.Great service,great tasting product in the smoothie I bought but I gave a 3 star rating simply because the size was not up to my expectations for the price I paid for it!
