Just ordered my first Warm Bowl - Mediterranean with chicken. It looks nothing like the picture. I had about 6 pieces of arugula. It was drowned in sauce so it looked like a big pile of gravy. It doesnt taste bad but is about a 1/4 of what is shown online.

I ordered the Fuji apple salad without chicken. Apparently every salad at Panera bread is made with chicken and if you order one without chicken, they just pick out the chicken. Well, there was a few pieces of gross boiled chicken in the bottom of my salad. And the dressing was like Some kind of an oily goo. The greens weren’t very fresh tasting either. And way too many red onions. Maybe to cover up for the missing chicken? I know I went in kind of late as it was probably around 8 PM but, I usually expect better quality from Panera bread . it would be nice if the salads were all offered a salads and you could get chicken on them. Not everybody wants chicken on their salad.

I popped into Panera the other day and picked up a buffalo chicken sandwich and a few pastries. The sandwich was slightly underwhelming with only three apparent ingredients for the filling; buffalo sauce (somewhat bland), sparse amounts of cheese and chunked chicken. However, the three pastries (bear claw, pecan bar, and a chocolate filled something) were delectable! I was surprised how fresh and tasty they were. The gentleman who helped me was very polite. I selected the $10-20 dollar price range in the Google rating although I spent $25 with a gift card and got the large sandwich and three pastries. I would have spent $10-20 without the gift card.

Panera is so right on; and this location is particularly nice and friendly. I like the seasonal variety, new menu items and cleanliness of the restaurant.The Panera Loyalty program, MyPanera, is a breeze. Always enjoy a reward cookie or other baked treat now and then.

Panera is Spanish for bread bowl. It so happens that Panera Bread is famous for their bread bowls and freshly made salads. Ive had both of those items, but this time I was craving a sandwich. The turkey breast sandwich was satisfying and didnt make me feel weighted down. They make eating healthy in a fast-casual atmosphere possible. They also led the healthy eating revolution by being the first to list calorie counts on the menu. This could be a good lunch date spot. Grab some healthy grub and get to know each other on the patio. Employees who were working that day were rude and speaking badly of management so that everyone in the waiting area and dining area could hear them . They were in the kitchen and back room. I learned more about their personal lives and dislike of working at Panera than I cared, too.

Ive been going to this location for the last 2 year. Over the last few months the business has gone down hill. Many of my orders have been messed up or just wrong. Management would offer a refund but the issues werent getting fixed. Today I ordered my usual breakfast sandwich and got one for my wife as well. As my wife bit in to her sandwich she hit something hard. It was the tip of a finger nail. It was the kind you get glued on and it was blue. After being discussed, I took the box and nail back to this location. The woman in the front acted like I was wrong and said we cant wear nails like that. The manager was nice and again offered a refund but still didnt act like they were going to fix the issues. I mean its pretty simple, its a blue nail with a star on it. Go find the staff member who has matching nails or a piece missing. I think this will be my last time visiting this location.

Items missing on a to go order. Very rude young lady when asked about the missing item. She proceeds to hand me an unwrapped piece of bread for an order that could have been anyones. I then asks for a bag for it and she shoves it in the bag and tosses it on the counter and walks away. Very unprofessional.

Always consistently good food!I ordered my lunch a couple of hours ahead of time. However, it wasnt ready and had to wait 10-15 minutes past the time requested for pick up. Several other people were waiting for orders also. I felt that you must have been training new staff members. All of us were patient. ☺ I will be back!

UNREAL portion decrease! My steak sandwich had HALF the steak it usually does. I’m eating a massive piece of bread and this tiny little thin scrap of steak that has soiled into the bread before you’re halfway done. I guarantee ZERO of the employees working there would eat this. Ordered Mediterranean sandwich and it was mostly bread. Way too thick for the amount of filling (sparse) between the slices. Good flavor though. At least 5 dirty tables, not wiped down. It was not busy at this time, so no excuse. Also $4.95 for 1 cookie is a bit ridiculous. I wont be back.

I just spent ~$13 + tax on a cob salad and it was disgusting. Lettuce was wilted and starting to brown. There were only three pieces of chicken. No avocado. No egg. The salad dressing was bitter. This Auburn location must be under new management or something. I have taken out from here a few times in the last four years and was alway happy with what I got although I always felt the portions were rather small for the cost. But this last visit was just plan bad.

I work near by and the last time I came in I ordered a chicken sandwich in the drive thru at a non busy time. I ended up wasting 25 of my 30 minute lunch break just waiting for the sandwich then by the time I finally got my sandwich and to go back to work I didnt have time to eat it. Fine things happen. This time I went in and decided to order ahead to not have the same issue. I went through the drive thru at the time the app said it would be ready by and was told it was not ready and would not be by the time I got to the window and was sent to wait in curbside for the order. I had to wait over 20 minutes in curbside for an order I put in 15 minutes before arriving. Will not be coming back to this terrible place

Holy cow, this Panera location lets me down time and time again. I work nearby and so sometimes go for lunch and sometimes I swing by before work. Every time I have gone I have had to wait much longer than the time it has said for my order ahead, which is a problem when you have a timed lunch break. Furthermore they have no idea how to run a drive-through! When they have a large order in the drive-through that will take a while to complete, instead of having them go park in curbside and allowing the people behind them to go they just make us all sit and wait for the large order! Furthermore I have had to go in several times because they have given me the wrong order! I am not sure what their criteria is for hiring, but they need to rethink it. I have not given up on Panera however I am giving up on this location because they are terrible!

I came through the drive through just a little bit ago and ordered my usual Chipotle chicken avocado melt. Usually its been good, but today my sandwich was really dry with no Chipotle sauce and no avocado! Minus 2 stars, one for the missing sauce, and one for the missing avocado. This is the only Panera location that makes dashers beg for the customers order. I will never be a customer myself because of this reason and encourage others to avoid this location. They accuse dashers other stealing orders when its likely any of the 20 random homeless folk loitering about iin and outside its store.

Service was great, they were busy, but efficient. Enjoyed my half sandwich and salad. There was an inset gas fireplace that added extra warmth on a cold day. Food came out in a timely fashion. Convenient location, plenty of parking in a mall with a good variety of shops. They could have cleaned the tables better, but the self bus stations were kept uncluttered.

Did a drive through order and they added an extra unwanted dressing to my daughters Mediterranean Warm Grain Bowl. Wife went in to have them fix it and they made the same mistake a second time. Fortunately she checked before leaving and they did get it right the 3rd time.They should just call them grain bowls and drop the warm from the name. Ordered a Chipotle chicken melt, added bacon and avocado. Bacon was chopped in little pieces so it wasnt worth paying extra for, since I could barely taste it. Also manager was eating at the drive thru window not wearing any gloves, and scratched her hair multiple times, then touch my napkins and put them in the bag. When she handed me my food I asked for manager, since I wasnt sure if she was or wasnt, she got an attitude once I informed her of her hygiene habits and was like do you want me to make it over? This was my second time using Panera Rapid Pick Up online ordering here.My order wasnt ready so I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for the order to be ready a total for almost 30 mins for the online rapid order.The mocha cost $5 and it was so gross I had to pour out. Unfortunately I didnt try it until I was heading home. Will probably drive to the Rocklin one for better service.Tip: make sure you try your drinks before you leave this place.

Went there the other week and got charged for someone elses order. When I asked if they would be voiding out that order so I could pay for mine, she said I hadnt paid yet, even though not even 2 minutes before she handed me back my card. First off. The woman who helped us was extremely friendly and the food was excellent. This posting is based solely on the fact that they do not accept certain US currency that they choose. When my order is 59.86$ I should be able to pay with a 50 dollar bill and a 10 dollar bill. Instead they refused to take my 50$ stating that a 20 was the largest bill they could accept due to a large amount of counterfeit money coming in. I simply dont like to be forced to use plastic and pay interest just because this business cant buy a simple pen to check if bills are real. As if people cant counterfeit 20 dollar bills. This is just poor business. It is however a private business and I believe they should have the right to do whatever they choose. On this basis im torn. When working I always enjoyed going to Panera for French onion soup so was looking forward to that today. My friend ordered a cup and I ordered a bowl. First my bowl was barely more than her cup. Secondly, it was lukewarm at best. Third, my bowl was served in a regular bowl not a French onion bowl which I used to get. Fourth, there was less than a teaspoon of shredded parmesan cheese bits which was not melted at all and no croutons. I remember it used to have lots of melted stringy cheese that was browned on top. So if you want luke warm soup, no melted cheese, no croutons, and few onions go to Paneras. Campbells French onion soup would have been better. Oh and their ice teas were so watery as to be tasteless.

My husband and I went to see what Panera was all about one evening. We ordered sandwiches and soup after a long wait we picked up at the window. My order was wrong and both soups were cold. I tried to order a sourdough loaf of bread but they did no have any. So the next morning I called Auburn, Ca and ordered a loaf of bread and 12.00 fsoup for 4 to be picked up at 2:00 PM in the drive through. We waited 10 min just to get to the window and when we got there, they did not know what I was talking about. So they proceeded to put my order together and said they had the bread. They brought the order out and it was totally wrong. They had charged me for it so a man came out and said they had refunded the charge to my Visa. Next they brought out another wrong order and I didnt know it but they charged me for it. Next they brought out a third order with just some soup and was charging me 18.00 for 12.00 soup. And they charged me for this one, and would not give me the 12.00 soup I had ordered. DOES THIS GET ANY BETTER. NO, I was going to try and get my 6.00 back but my husband said We have to get out of here because we had cars behind us for 15 min and they were getting mad! Lets get out of here and dont ever come back!! Folks their food is not that good and you better watch your orders because they do not know what they are doing and always out of something!

I usually dont like to give bad reviews but this is the second time in a row I did rapid pick up and my order was late 10+ minutes. My name was on the board for being prepped and then disappeared. I made eye contact with several employees, one Im pretty sure was a manager, and no one asked a thing even though I was sitting there for 16 minutes. I finally went up to the counter for ready food and asked if the bag that had been sitting there was mine. Sure enough it was. It wasnt in the cubby it should have been in and my name was never called nor was it on the bag. Im done going here.

Best Panera Bread around! Customer service is stellar and customer centric in their philosophies. Everything in your order will be correct or they fix it and give you a free treat. They sell awesome dishes for people with allergies, especially gluten and dairy free. The gluten free cookies are literally the best cookies, gluten free or not, you will ever taste!!!! Try to get there early because they do sell out fast. Rapid online ordering is what my family uses, but they also offer cashiers and table delivery. Hands down, a family favorite!!!

Ive been here a few times and have been mostly satisfied. The last time I went last Thursday evening for dinner, I was unhappy with the quality of the food. My hot chocolate was supposed to have chocolate chip marshmallows, but it did not. My chipotle chicken panini was poorly made, it looked like it was thrown together too quickly with too little ingredients and too much chipotle sauce. My fiancés Caesar salad was way over-dressed. Ive been to many Panera Bread stores and I truly enjoy their baked goods and coffee. I was very happy to hear one was opening a couple of blocks from my office and looked forward to frequenting the establishment. However, today I went to the drive thru to grab some lunch and was shocked by the behavior of the drive thru attendant. When I ordered my sandwich she mumbled something unintelligible. I asked her to repeat herself several times, each time getting the same mumble. I am hard of hearing so I asked her to speak louder and slower. She responded loudly and slowly with YOU DONT HAVE TO BE RUDE ABOUT IT, I WAS ASKING YOU IF YOU WANT HORESRADISH. I complained to the very nice manager Julie about the attendants behavior. As I was driving away (without my lunch) the attendant I complained about made a strange face at me and waved sarcastically.Panera needs to instruct it employees on good customer service, appropriate employee behavior and the treatment of customers. I dont like to write bad reviews, I actually tried to give this Panera Bread a chance a few times but my goodness its awful. Everything from the food to the lousy service is awful. The preparation of the food is by far the worse, maybe I can attribute it to them being new and needing more training but the employees at Panera Bread in Auburn should be ashamed of what they are serving to customers, I ordered the caramelized kale and turkey panini, the kale was missing and there were a few slices of turkey covered in a melted cheese mess. I also ordered the turkey bacon avocado sandwich which was a complete mess as well. If this location wants to survive in a small town, the employees NEED to be trained properly and KNOW their menu.

Didn’t bother to mention they were out of avocado when I order a specific sandwich because it has avocado. Call the store and the manager says oh we are having a supplier problem but they did not mention that at time of order. The other sandwich I told the no cheese TWICE abd still they put cheese. Multiple times now it’s either they screw up the order or forgot all together to put appropriate items in the bag. For being such an expensive restaurant you would think they could get a handle on how they train the employees.

Have always loved Panera but this location is weak. The past month all they do is ball up the ingredients like theyre ripping organs out of a carcass and shoving them between bread and give it to me in a box. I specifically asked them today (I hate doing it because Im shy) to try to neatly make the sandwich and put all the ingredients that belong on it and to no avail. Not going back for a while.

I like Panera Bread. I used to frequent one is Roseville, CA by Walmart thats wonderful. The Auburn location is atrocious and badly managed. Ive visited multiple times and tried their catering, every time was a disappointment in quality and service. While in the seating area you can hear and see the cooking staff. I watched as they insulted and degraded the manager, which he did nothing about, and continued making the most vulgar and unprofessional conversation and insults. And I was in the Navy, I know about vulgar. But this is ear shot of children and the public. If I were to run my business this way I wouldve been shut down years ago.Theres a wonderful Chipotle, Panda Express, Starbucks, Dickies BBQ, Chik-Fil-A, and Costa Vida right there beside it. Go to them. Seriously.

Also had tuna sandwich. The tuna mix was very tasty but very soft. Served inside falocca bread which is sturdy! When you take a bite the tuna filling squrts out sides!! All over hands and lap! Finally ate it as an open face sandwich! Why cant these trendy restaurants learn to make a sandwich?? Total of 5 orders and todate NOT 1 order did they get right. Last nite was my last time.I ordered turkey BLT w/ a few xtras for items plus 2 CChip cookies.I arrive and was told we are out of CChips but we replaced w/ Candy cookies. I told them TU yet I didnt want those and IF I did I would of ordered such so please refund me my $. I was instructed that I had no choice. Thus they got tossed into the garbage.Next I get home and find the sandwhich was a total disaster. Condiments oozed all over .. bread beyond soggy .. actually to gross to eat.If a organization cannit build a basic Client/User website then remove oneself from the web. Its basic code in the least.Next to be dictated what I am to eat thus pay for geez.
