Great bread and all the butter you want.Had the broccoli and cheese soup. Real tasty. Could have been warmer! They have a wide selection of soup and sandwiches. Wide! Pastry and breads. warma cold drinks of all sorts. Great place for lunch!4 Dec 18: update; had the broccoli cheese soup again, still not very warm. Soup good and with lots of great bread. Also had tuna sandwich. The tuna mix was very tasty but very soft. Served inside falocca bread which is sturdy! When you take a bite the tuna filling squrts out sides!! All over hands and lap! Finally ate it as an open face sandwich! Why cant these trendy restaurants learn to make a sandwich?? They are ment to be something you can pick up and eat without wearing it!!Also I dont think the soup was being kept at 140°f !! Manager should read the Health Department rules !! Please!!

Sourdough & Co. - Auburn

Something is wrong with the people that work their. I dont want to sound like an ahole, but dont know if they have a disability or what. I came in and waited for a couple to order in front of me. I ordered a simple toasted sandwich with everything on it. I said do I have time to run to the store next store? He said ya sure. There was a dude with pink hair and a chick with a nose ring. Last time I was here it took almost an hour to make my sandwich and there was 3 working. I came back from the store and the couple that had ordered before me were still waiting. Its been almost an hour and they got theirs and its all messed up. Im STILL WAITING for mine. The dude keeps telling people that come to pick up food that they were so packed, sorry. New employee, sorry. First of, they werent packed. Its the same people waiting. Second, its the same employees as months ago. He just told me they are going to start working on it soon. Like dude what!?!? Im hoping that the sandwich is ok for it taking this long. Both employees move slow af. Like slow motion slow. Like I said, I dont know if anything is wrong with them or they just dont like their job. Dude was polite, but if you want to waste your day, get your sandwich here. They are adding 30 and 40 minutes to door dash orders. I dont understand why it is taking them SO LONG to make food. At the max, 15 minutes per sammy? Jeeze.

Ordered for our second time and couldnt be happier. It is awesome to get a delicious healthier pizza where you can recycle the entire pizza box because theres no grease. I could eat the Marguerita pizza with extra sauce every day. So glad to have this restaurant in Citrus Heights.Fisrt order...Could hardly wait for this place to open, but after giving a week for them to work out the kinks that every new restaurant has, I called tonight to place an order and got voicemail. Disappointed, we resigned ourselves to eating leftover homemade minestrone soup, but then, to my surprise, a nice young man called me back! We placed an order for the rosemary garlic bread and pepperoni pizza and were given a spectacularly short 10 minute wait which was met with time to spare.I am very pleased to say that this is arguably the best pizza in Citrus Heights and even as non-believers, we believe we will happily be regular patrons of this little oasis in our food desert.

Osorio Kitchen

Last year was my twentieth wedding anniversary. To celebrate, I surprised my wife with a dinner at the place where we were married, Rainbow Lodge in Soda Springs. A web search of nearby caters in the Grass Valley/Nevada City area struck gold.Megan was so responsive and engaging upon our first contact, I knew that I had found exactly what I was looking for - a passionate host with great attention to ones individual needs and desires. She worked with me to plan a lavish charcuterie board appetizer, a choice of soup or salad, followed by sumptuous Mediterranean infused chicken or salmon, and topped off with homemade tiramisu from a recipe acquired while visiting Italy. Sadly, the only food photos taken were of the charcuterie board - but that alone should seal the deal.Simple words cannot do the meal justice. They cannot express how pleased and satisfied everyone was who attended. If it had not been for a stroke of good luck, we would have totally missed out on the once-in-a-lifetime culinary experience we were fortunate enough to stumble across.Do yourself a favor: take the time to work with Megan and Noah. They will reward you, as they did me, my wife, and all our family and friends, with a dining experience you will never forget.

North Fork Deli

SHORT VERSION:Oh, my, this was good. Need a sandwich? Try this place!LONG VERSION:My intent coming in had been to order a Club sandwich, but before I could, the young man behind the counter suggested the tri-tip French Dip they had on special. And just then two of them came out for an earlier customer and I was sold.I got the sweet French roll and passed on the garlic aioli. As Miss Vickie and I have had an intense relationship going for years, I was happy to meet her on their chip rack and share the sandwich experience with her. Sodas are in the can, which is not my favorite way to drink it, but pricing is reasonable and the selection is wide (my Diet Dr Pepper is a mundane choice - they have many varieties and flavors of sodas, juices, and the like). The sandwich was just about perfect. The tri tip was sliced to a proper thickness and cooked tender with absolutely none of the stringiness that tends to happen in these sandwiches. The au jus wasnt the watery restaurant variety, but a creamy, almost soup-like sauce which dipped well, coated the sandwich bites well, and was savory enough I considered using a spoon to slurp up what was left after Id finished. The staff was friendly - not just with me but with every customer who came in or called. And it was busy while I was here! They were outgoing, talkative, and seemed to be enjoying their work. Great job!In a day when a convenience store sandwich will cost you seven bucks or more, $16 for a neat perfect trip tip French dip of decent size is a good deal.My only complaint was atmospheric - the fluorescent bulb above the counter seating I chose was flickering like a strobe light, which was far more annoying than I thought it would be. Odds are itll be fixed before I come back though.I loved it! Eat here!

Flaming Burrito Grill
2530 Bell Rd, Auburn, CA 95603, United States
Flaming Burrito Grill is definitely the most delicious Mexican restaurant in Auburn. The chef is on point. The plates are full of meat, rather than being stacked with rice and beans at other places, and the presentation of the meals is also well done. So, if you are coming here, expect good food. The service gets 3 stars for two reasons. First, there is no chip bar, and you will pretty much only get one small thing of chips during your stay here. Second, the cost of the menu, although not outrageous, is still slightly more than a typical competitor Mexican restaurant. (Say compared to El Portal also here in Auburn.) For example, we took our two small children to the restaurant and ordered a side of chicken. It was $12.00 for this small amount of food. Now, Id love to give a higher service rating due to the chef, who has come out to our table on one of my other visits and checked on our table. He is friendly and definitely good at his craft.Overall, this is not a terribly busy restaurant with definitely delicious meals!

Tavern at The White House
130 Maple St, Auburn, CA 95603, United States
The whole experience was probably 4-star, and could have easily been a 1-star or less, but the team at Tavern At The White House alone (specifically Jenn & Kassidy) is deserving of all the stars. They - quite literally - saved the day.We (American Bride, British Groom) live & are getting married in London in late 2024, but decided to have a summer Engagement party in California as that is where my (bride) family is based. We booked Tap & Vine for their incredible outdoor Courtyard space a year in advance and thought we'd hit the jackpot. Roughly a month or two prior to the event, we started to get concerned when communication got thin and unclear, but were assured that everything was still going ahead as usual. Then we found out (yes, found out - not told, which is an important distinction) that the venue was under new management & renovations were underway. Again, communication wasn't great, but we were assured (again) that everything was fine. Until it wasn't…About 3 weeks ahead of the event, we lost communication with Tap & Vine entirely. Reminder, we're in London, so everything was done via email and not hearing from the venue had us hitting maximum stress levels, so I asked my family to go to the venue in person to figure out what happened. Enter new owners, new-name Tavern At The White House, and Super Jenn. Jenn greeted my family with open arms, understanding, clear communication, and all the problem solving skills. She was calm, graceful, proactive, and above all else, professional. She explained that when ownership of the venue changed, it was chaos & complications galore. Tap & Vine had left the whole venue in pieces, events & bookings were a mess, and they were working hard to clean up & ensure all guests were taken care of. I'm sure she said this to everyone, but hearing her tell us over and over that we were a top priority was so comforting during what could have been a disastrous day.Jenn & Kassidy (and the wider Tavern ATWH team) truly made the day incredible. They set us up in the covered patio due to comically ill-timed bad weather. The tables were beautifully decorated, the food & drinks were delicious and came out at the perfect times, and the service was quick & efficient & amazing. They even helped with the filming of speeches & clearing of plates & glasses throughout the night. It was incredible. We truly believe that if our event had been handled by Tap & Vine, it would have been a nightmare. But thankfully, Tavern ATWH did an amazing job at saving our event and every one of our guests have memories to last a lifetime.Thank you Jenn, Kassidy, and team for literally saving our event & allowing us to have the night of our dreams. We could not have done it without you.

This is a local classic restaurant that has been here for decades! They offer a build-your-own style meal where you arrange your own ingredients to be cooked in front of you on their Mongolian open wok. Good comfort food for a cold day. Table service includes rice, crispy wontons, and egg drop soup. Finish up your meal with complimentary vanilla soft serve.

Nancys Caf
356 Elm Ave, Auburn, CA 95603, United States
I like the location, it's small and quaint and there's a fun feel to the place. And some of our food was really good. I got Chicken & Waffles, and while I only got one small piece of chicken for two waffles, it was tasty and the hot sauce was great. But the biscuits tasted like they came out of a bag, which was disappointing, but the gravy was good, if a little under seasoned. Overall, we were pleased with the food. However, our service was atrocious. Our waiter barely spoke to us and didn't attempt any kind of greeting or pleasantry. What's more? He seemed visibly annoyed when we didn't know what we wanted about 90 seconds after we sat down. He never brought us refills and he only checked on us one time in passing, though he was constantly walking past us to check on his other tables outside and to bring them refills. By the time we were finished, we had to wait 10-15 minutes before we even saw him again, and then WE had to flag him down just to get the check. I'd have been happy to go there again to give the food another shot, but our service was so poor that I'd much rather take my money somewhere that will provide us with good food AND quality service. Very disappointing.
