We are super annoyed with this location. This shop never seems to have a manager in. We called 3 days ago regarding an issue and we’re supposed to get a call back. 2 calls later still no response and they are never in the store when we call. They made our order so greasy and oily that the cheese slid off the top and burned into our oven. There was so much of it that it went into the grates of the gas burners making our oven unsafe to use and smoking us out of the house. We had to open the windows when it’s freezing outside and we have a toddler and newborn. Additionally my husband has a medical condition and the smoke caused by this is very dangerous. We are very upset and still waiting on a response from them. Meanwhile we now have to take our oven apart to fix the problem caused by them putting a ridiculous amount of oil. We were not even able to eat.

We havent had Papa Murphys in awhile it had always been good in the past. I walked into the Notre Dame location today and immediately sensed something had changed. I believe its under new ownership but not posted anywhere. The store was clean but the crew didnt look happy, none wearing masks not sure if wearing gloves and no aprons. There were handwritten Now Hiring signs by register and door.Ordered 2 pizzas 1 family size 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 cheese(not even extra) and med. cowboy that came up to $33! I know cost have gone up everywhere but thats borderline Round Table or Mtn Mike prices and those are cooked for you. I almost canceled order but didnt. The large turned into 1 giant bubble. Caused the cheese to drop in my oven to burn and smoke. My husband tried to salvage it. He poked holes into the cowboy pizza so it didnt get bubbles. The cowboy turned out better. I believe the sauce has changed. I didnt care for it at all and wished Id cancelled. Im out 33$ for a medium pizza. We wont be back.

Found a used BAND-AID cooked into our pizza. 🤮🤮🤮 Will never go back!! If your employee has a cut and is wearing a band-aid they should absolutely be wearing gloves. So disgusting!

Pros:- 25% off promo code via text- Respectful, friendly employees- Great tasting food- Easy parkingCons:- Extremely high prices for food that I have to cook at home- Poorly trained employees- Long wait time after placing order via website (30+ minutes)- No salad dressing included with an $8 saladThis was my first time ordering from this Papa Murphys location in Chico. True to form for all of the Papa Murphys in Chico the interior of this pizzeria was 10 degrees hotter than outside, and dirty.I arrived to pick-up the four items that I had ordered and was handed just a pizza. The employee then stared at me after handing me my pizza so I had to ask for my Scratch-made 5-Cheese bread (and then again for the marinara dipping cup), my Smores Bars dessert, and my garden salad. It was like the employee had no concept of fulfilling an online order. There was no salad available so I had to wait while one was made. Prices are extreme for take-n-bake items, especially considering the price of natural gas to cook my items at home. Charging for a small packet of salad dressing(s) for a salad that costs $8 is insulting.My advice is to sign-up for their text messages where you will routinely get 20%, 25%, and 30%-off promo codes which is the only time that Papa Murphys is remotely worth the price.The Chico location on Eaton Road is the best, followed by the Mangrove location, and this location being the worst.

I generally like Papa Murphys and their food, but on our last occasion we ordered several items and one of them was a mini Murph for our daughter. One of the cheese containers was moldy, not just a little moldy but mostly mold. We called to let them know and they took down our information and told us that a manager would get in touch. They never did, so we called back a few days later and the person that answered would lie to us. We would stay with pleasantries and then ask to speak with a manager and suddenly our phone was breaking up and they would hang up. We tried on both our phones and called a couple times and this person kept lying saying that they couldnt hear us. Even though they could hear us just give when we asked about the specials. Id avoid this one at all costs.

Im honestly shocked they passed their food safety inspection!!! The was dust everywhere, old food under the prep table caked in dust, I can’t explain the smell I walked into. Either the staff were air heads or they were on something, every time the gal from the back came to the front they had to stop making the pizza to talk to her. Out dated security cameras. The cooler was leaking. I hope I don’t get sick from this place.

Health hazard, stay away!This place used to be great. Easy take-n-bake for a last minute dinner. But they got new staff, and now its a disgrace. Ive watched staff drop a lot of food on the floor and put it back up for later use. Like, several times. Theyll also forget your order, so youre going to wait over an hour anyways. Youre better off going anywhere else and not getting food poisoning. Take it from somebody who used to eat here all the time, and never will again.

Surprisingly fresh and very flavorful take and bake that doesn’t skimp on portions but also takes the time to create the pie you want. Complete surprise of a place and look forward to revisiting.

If you want a quick meal that satisfies the entire family, look no further than Papa Murphys! They have delicious pizza made with fresh ingredients. They also have holiday-shaped pizza(heart, pumpkin, etc) that makes the kiddos smile! Its cheap, and also avaliable to those who have EBT, which is very cool.
