Very tasty! All 3 items we ordered were very good. I would certainly come back. It wasn’t a great experience dining in though so I would just recommend ordering to go. The dining space is a little cramped and could be cleaner. The pancit dish was great!

This is the best Filipino place close to me in Danville. Folks are friendly and try to help w all my orders. A small place, but comfortable to eat in. The silogs are simple and filling plates.

Thank you for the delicious catering for my Dads church service - everyone loved your food and we cant thank you enough. Your pancit bihon, lumpia shanghai, pinakbet, and adobo were perfect choices for a successful event. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Papaya Grill to everyone!!!!

Ive eaten here literally 100s of times over the last 10+ years. I use them to cater my family parties. Very good food!! I highly recommend!!

There aren’t a bunch of Filipino eateries in the area so we decided to try this place out. The palabok was tasty and so was the bangus. Will be returning once we start craving our native food again!

Good tasty good. I ordered a lunch plate with 2 items and rice. Chose Beef-Potato curry and Pork in Coconut Milk as the 2 items. Both items were very tasty.The only problem I had was with the price. There is no menu board. When I asked the price, the lady said itll be $7.95. But when it came to billing, they charged me $10.77 (inc tax). When I asked why, they said its$7.95 for one item and extra for 2nd item. That was not their initial pricing when I enquired.I consider that as cheating, but there was no use trying to get them in line. Just for this reason, Id avoid the place and find another restaurant if I want Filipino food.

Papaya Grill catered my daughters wedding reception for 200 people. The food was delivered right on time, hot and ready to be served. Everything was prepared excellently and was very, very tasty. Even though most of the guests were not Filipino, everyone had very positive comments about the food. Those who are Filipino were pleased the food was so authentic. Selecting a caterer for a wedding can be very difficult because so many things can go wrong but our whole experience with Papaya Grill was very positive.

Everything was awesome!!! Service is so nice!!! Pork sisig is crispy & juicy. Pork skewer is full of flavor. VERY yummy!!! Its small inside but definitely worth the wait. U can order from 12 different combos or pick from the cafeteria style food already cooked. Recommended to anyone who loves pork or Philippino food. :)

This is a tough review because the food here, when you get what you wanted, is GREAT. The Sisig is mind blowing, and the garlic rice is to die for. However the service here is insane. At least half the time I come here my order has been wrong, I have been over charged, or on several occasions a straight up bait and switch. I once paid for the most expensive thing in the menu, only to be told 30 mins later they couldnt make it but they offered me something just as good I accepted the offer and went home to discover they had given me a small order of tosilog, one of the cheapest items of the menu. I havent been back since.

It was first time for me to try Filipino food. Not sure if it was this restaurant or just in general how Filipino food tastes but a bit too sour for me - with pork flavor a bit too strong. The beef steak was fitting my tastw. I will probably not try again thia place, but an okey mark, as probably I am biased and dont qualify to rate Filipino food at all.

Fraudulent prices.For many years, I used to buy take-out food here at least once a week.There were a few occasions in the past on which the woman owner overcharged me, usually by a dollar or so, but I had let it slide since I did not realize it until I was on the way home.One evening in August, when she again overcharged me, I called her out on it. At the cash register, she charged me about a dollar more for each item than the published prices on the printed menu, the TV billboard, and the posters on the window.The extra cost was insignificant to me, but I could not abide fraud in business establishments.She explained that they had raised prices and that the prices on the printed menu, the TV billboard, and the posters on the window were wrong.I pointed out to her that she cannot do that, that she had to honor her own published prices, otherwise it would constitute false advertising or fraud.She threw a fit and made a huge production of her being offended.She humiliated me by loudly declaring that I did not have to pay, as if I cared about the money.I vowed then to never return to this establishment.Six months later, in February, because Papaya Grill was the only Filipino restaurant in the area, I could not help myself and came back to buy take-out. I breathed a sigh of relief that the unpleasant woman owner was not there that day.As I paid for my order, however, I was shocked to find that they again charged me more than the published prices on the TV billboard and the posters on the window.More than half a year after I had first cautioned them against false advertising and overcharging customers, they were still doing it.They were still engaging in fraud.I once again vowed to never return. This time I meant it.
