A great hole in the wall joint that belies its consistently good Vietnamese Food. Love their vegan options that remain true to its native flavors. The regular non vegan pho has always been good and filling. Been coming for years and will continue to do so. The staff is warm and always willing to advise the non initiated.

We came, we ate, and we would definitely come back! They’ve got a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan items, of course the traditional pho 🍜 and chicken soups, as well as lots of other dishes to choose from. Service was quick and delightful. You can tell they take pride in serving excellent quality food. Really wonderful.

Been going to this place for at least 5 years and have watched it evolve. It has maintained its hole-in-the-wall location but they made the interior really hip and friendly. We moved away last year, so this weekend we went back for the first time in over a year. The pho is just as good as ever and I think the appetizers may have even gotten better!Parking-wise, there is street parking in front or on the side street and spots in the back. Its never been a problem.

Great local spot for body warming noodle pho noodle soup. For some reason the broth seems lighter here than other places, not sure if thats authentic or not. They do have great pricing and give you lots of meat in their pho noodle soups. Skip the bun bo hue noodle soup

I have been coming here since I was like 6 years old with my family. It is a staple here in Canoga park. Such a friendly and kind family!! This is honestly the best Pho I have had. I’ve been to a couple others in the valley and their broth doesn’t even compare. They give out huge portion sizes for the price and they have never let me down. I come here way too often hahah.

We got there 30 minutes before closing and was turned away. I mean pho takes 2 minutes to be ready and you can eat it in 10 minutes not sure why we were refused service when they were more than dozens of people sitting inside and 30 minutes is left to be closed

By far the Best Pho I can find in the valley, nice cut of meat, fresh basil, sprouts, green onions, and the super clear & tasty broth is exquisite! Paired with fast and friendly service, you cant beat it! Small place but lots of good food. Parking at the back of the store and you can never tell a great pho place from the exterior!In addition, plenty of selections for vegans, my hubby is vegetarian and he loves the vege stir fried over rice, vegan egg rolls also satisfy the cravings.

Excellent Vietnamese cuisine! The noodles and veggies were very fresh. Their broth is clear and flavorful, which shows real care by the chef. I had the Bún Chả Hà Nội and enjoyed every last bite! My cà phê sữa đá was also very tasty. Prices were slightly higher than some other places (meals are about $11-12 each), but Id say the quality justifies it. The staff were friendly and very responsive. The restaurant also has a fun ambience, with art and photos on the wall that celebrate their business. There is limited free parking in the back, so keep an eye out if you want to avoid the paid parking. We will definitely come here again. Thank you Phở 21!

Pretty awesome little pho place near Calabasas and woodlands, food was great as was the service, menu was pretty cool as well I thought and has like a hundred options and then some.Only buyer beware is the 15$ minimum to use credit card as payment. Otherwise totally great place and not worth taking a star off if you ask me.I had an entire regular size 1# bowl with a soda and out the door price was like $9.50 something.Definitely worth checking out, also close parking is metered but theres some parking around the corner but you have to walk a bit.

The best Pho Ive ever had. Its an android camera so it doesnt do wonders but the food was delicious. I highly recommend some wings as an appetizer. Literally both sets of wings are absolutely addicting to eat.Staff was nice and friendly. Great service overall.

Been going here 8+ years. Can never go wrong with the №1 pho and shrimp and bbq pork spring roll. Pho always slaps, especially with the fat chucks of tendon. Always serving within 5 mins of ordering. The spring rolls are 🔥 and when you dip it in the peanut sauce... taste buds are in the state of orgasm. 🫠🫠

Decent amount of street parking (meters present) available. Tiny restaurant without much ambience, but with plenty of character. Has a nice local feel to it due to the decor and the wall of polaroids featuring regular customers (big fan of stuff like that). Enjoyed some hot black tea and pho, both of which were great. The prices are reasonable and service was swift and personal all while the food is great in an enjoyable setting. 5 stars.

Im from San Gabriel/El Monte. This place has good broth, lots of noodles, reasonable amount of meat. The noodles are a little thin but fresh. I would come back again. They have a beautiful mural on their wall. Free parking in back. There is curbside parking but you need to feed the meter.

I came here today because my family wanted pho. I’m not a fan of soup in hot weather, but luckily I asked about “banh mi” that I coworker recently talked to me about. The owner is extremely cheap and rude. My family has come here many times before and my toddler daughter has always been given a plastic cup with a straw so the water wouldnt spill on her--like any restaurant we frequent. Today, the owner decides to be extremely cheap when I asked for water in a cup that doesnt spill. He says the styrofoam cup is free, if I want a plastic cup with the lid I will be charged. Seriously?? Ive never been informed of such a policy previously nor has any other restaurants Ive been ever had issues with my request--for water in a to-go cup.The food isnt even good for Vietnamese food compared to those in Westminster, PHO SAIGON in Chatsworth, PHO VIET CA, or the pho places in Reseda and Simi Valley. The pho was bland; the Banh hoi (woven rice vermicelli) was extremely dry; and their bun bo hue is mainly broth and little noodles.Most of the clientele are non-Vietnamese--Hispanic and Caucasian. So, this is not the place for authentic Vietnamese food. We were just in the area, but next time well head a couple blocks away to another Vietnamese place.Im just disappointment by how the owner handled this situation and, in general, their water policy and lack of accommodations for families with young kids. This place is definitely not kid-friendly, especially for families with toddlers--and Im expecting another kid so we wont be back.

This is my favorite local Vietnamese spot for pho and a few other dishes - none other compares in this area!!! The broth is flavorful and not oily (pho ga w/fish balls is my go to since I dont eat beef or pork). The little chicken eggrolls are a must, ask for more fresh herbs and cilantro - trust me. The vermicelli bowls and rice porridge (ask for fried garlic, cilantro, and chili oil!) are winners as well. The all shrimp and cucumber salad is worthy of mention; though, ask them to add chopped cilantro for more depth!The staff is always friendly and accommodating, believe its family-owned and run - always a plus for me!Its a small place, but homey and comforting. The service is very lacking. I was there on Sunday with my family. They were busy, and I had to flag them down for everything. I waited 20 minutes for someone to take my order and another 20 minutes for just the drink. Then when my food finally came, they forgot to bring any utensils. But once I asked for it. The owner screamed OMG to me. I couldn’t believe how rude the service was.I barely ate anything because he made me lose my appetite.I know you’re busy but get it together. You should apologize when you make a mistake. People come to enjoy not just good food but good service as well. I regret that I chose to spend my family time at your place.

I am an avid Pho fan! Im known in my rather large family as a Pho fanatic, when I visit from out of town they always take me to their favorite Vietnamese restaurants and wait for my review with baited breath. I have been to Vietnamese restaurants in many cities but in all my Pho adventures none comes close to Pho 21! Not only is the pho clear and flavorful the spring rolls are fresh and delicious and to top it all off the staff is warm and inviting! Wing has my regular order memorized, knows not to even bring a menu and calls me Sis . Hill is just as awesome she always has time for a kind word and a smile. Tom the owners son is super on top of making sure the place is spotless and things are running smoothly! The food is served quickly and is so comforting. Love this place and if you love Vietnamese food you will love this gem!

I regularly travel 10 miles to get my broth fix, and Pho 21 is the one. It’s a mom & pop shop—venue is a bit small (50 pax) but fills up fast at lunchtime and evenings. Their food is fast, well priced and so so good. Plenty of vegan options (the fake ham spring roll is yum) but their broths are where they shine. Do not pass go. Go directly to Pho 21, you will not regret it. And if you do, I’m sorry you cannot handle authentic Vietnamese food but more for me! FYI, there is parking behind the restaurant.

So, went here today with my boyfriend, and when we placed my order, I had also asked if they could add sautéed onions, as it was on the other dishes, but not on mines. They told me no they can’t.. I said I’ll pay extra.. still said no, and said they could give me peanuts.So whatever, I’m annoyed but we finally get our food and ate it, not feeling like it was really good because we left our food didn’t want to finish. Went to pay, I specifically wrote a $10 tip, and I just checked my bank, and the lady actually made her own tip! Finally a pho restaurant with really tasty vegan pho! We tried the vegan beef pho as well as the vegan chicken pho and both broths/imitation meat were impressive. Ive only been to this pho place in LA (since Im not from there) and it blows all the pho restaurants Ive been to in my hometown. The vegetarian/vegan options are plentiful. Very good Vietnamese place. The menu is very extensive to the point of overwhelming. There are all the greatest hits for Vietnamese cuisine with some Japanese food thrown in for good measure. Due to pandemic, dine-in is actually dine-out. You should change that on your label. You will not enjoy your food outside. They might as well take your money, throw your food on the ground outside and eat it. So uncomfortable eating outside, a lot of people walking that you dont even know if they have the virus, and cars passing by, you cant seem to wonder if they are looking at you while waiting for the light to turn green.Poor customer service. I am meticulous with my Pho. I guess everyone has its own preference. I specifically said 3 limes. When it came to me. It only has 2..I wish I can get up and leave my food but I cant risk of someone passing by spitting or putting something on it. When I paid my due. I told the guy about the issue and he just brushed me off. He said he told them 3 limes. And I said, did you even bother to check if its really three (3)? Then silence. That paper that you use to take orders? yeah that one. Put any special request of the customer ON IT. Then most important thing to do is...check if the request is there before you even serve the food.Not coming back again. So disappointed.

Just finished an open house close by and this place was recommended by one of the home buyers who came in who used to live in Vietnam. I got the special bun vermacelli with pork balls and shrimp wrapped around sugar cane. I also tried the fried noodle pancake with shrimp crab and veggies on top. It was soooo good! LOVE my chicken pho here!!! The options are great. If you dont like soup. They have rice dishes, vermicelli and boba teas. I really like their green tea smoothie with boba. Its a quick, fast pace environment with a great taste and cant beat the prices. Went to Vietnam once when I was younger. This is the only place I have been to that serves authentic Vietnamese food. Huge menu, amazingly cheap and the service is so fast it will blow your socks off! The staff is really friendly and sometimes one of the chefs will even serve your food! Pho 21 is my new favourite local spot for Vietnamese cuisine! They offer a huge variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes, but you have to check before you order if you are vegan or have food allergies. They are happy to answer your question though. The vegetarian noodle pho with fried tofu was super delicious! The bowl was very generous and came accompanied by the standard stuff: bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeno slices, lime wedge. All the usual sauces are on the table for seasoning to your taste and tolerance for spicy heat. The coffee is too expensive, but the soup was such a good value that I can easily overlook that fact. I highly recommend this spot!

My first time experience was what ever-ish, not so bad and not so good.This place is not at the plaza, it’s in the street that hard to find and had to pay money to park.The Pho that I got wasn’t good. flavor of the broth was water down and very salty. I ordered large and still the meat was little and wasn’t satisfied. The price was over $10 and it wasn’t worth it.The service was ok, just the food was horrible.I couldn’t finish the pho.I would not come back here again.

A hidden gem of Canoga Park! The service is always great here. Before I even tried the pho here I would come in and grab a boba to-go. Of course I had to eat here eventually. I got the meatball pho which also had some flank and brisket. SO good. The combination fried rice was also really good. They have a really diverse menu of Vietnamese dishes here so theres something for everyone. Really casual place. Definitely my go-to pho place from now on.

I wanted to pay with my gear but the guy behind counter acted snobbish and told that hes tried it many times before and never worked because their machine is old. Told him Samsung pay works on most terminal even old ones especially with the S3 gear and he gave it a try reluctantly. Samsung pay on my phone worked but not on my gear, my guess is I probably didnt hold it up long enough.Anyway rant aside, all 3 items ordered were delicious, wished there were more noodles on all items though especially the egg noodles - seemed much less than the rice noodles. Will definitely come back for the pho which I think is the best deal

A taste of Vietnam in your backyard. Weve decided that this is one of the top Vietnamese places in the valley after extensive trial. The food is delicious (try the Spring rolls and fried nem)! It was awesome getting a durian smoothie that had real fresh durian in it. My days traveling through South East Asia flashed in my memory from the authentic flavors. Good value for the money and super friendly and warm service. Feels really familial. Definitely will return.

This is my favorite vegan pho place in the Valley. Try the vegan chicken pho, I actually prefer it to the vegan beef pho. This place has a pretty good variety of vegetarian/vegan options. Including various soups and vermicelli with different vegan proteins, as well as egg rolls and spring rolls.

Honestly the best Vietnamese food in the valley!! The food is just off the hook delicious and the prices are just right for the amount of food you get. Try the Ban Xeo “Ban Say Yo” which is a Vietnamese coconut crepe with veggies and meats. You break apart the banxeo, wrap it in the leaves with the fixins and dip it in the sauce that it comes with.
