Ph Huynh Sang in San Francisco

Needing a quick tasty meal my friend and I decided on Pho Huynh Sang. The Fresh Shrimp Spring roll was indeed fresh. The beef pho we got was fine for my palate, but my daughter wanted it spicier and was able to add the heat. The atmosphere is bright and diner-like, but does not add to the dining experience.

I love this Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered grilled pork and shrimp spring rolls, a large beef pho, and bun cha Ha Noi. Not only were proportions huge, but everything was made really well and delicious! Definitely recommend trying this place.

I love the fact that this place have veggie broth and it’s serve in any size. As soon I walked into this place they were smiles and a strong welcome. The menu in the tables is a prefect idea because you can start looking for you meal immediately. They brought waters first thing and I like that. The food quality is great with flavor and hot, I ate Tofu Pho with veggie broth. It tasted very good and I wish I can have this where I live. The spices is perfect especially with the green tea. They have a large selection for food and you can’t lose with any option. The inside is fairly big for large groups so it wouldn’t be an issue eating inside. The place is clean all over, including the bathrooms which is the most important part of a restaurant. Parking is fairly easy with meter charge, the maximum is 2 hours like most places in the world so don’t be surprised. As a result, I will return in the near future to enjoy it over and over again this is a place to be for good PHO. Give it a chance because you won’t regret it.

Great location for college students. Also the tea and juice choices are perfect for staying healthy on a budget. The place has home vibes. Sadly not the Instagram-able however you will feel as if needed to take a photo of the plate before.

Highly recommend the pho ga. Banh mi, imperial rolls, and coffee are all delicious as well. Amazing on a cold and foggy evening - my favorite broth and noodles in the city.

Excelent food and service the lady and the old man where both vey helpful and nicer people . Recommendation where just right, soups are great and prices are very fare 54 dollars 3 people

I really wanted to like this place more. I ordered pho—with grilled chicken and I asked if it could be five spice. The chicken was dry and it did not taste like five spice. It didn’t have a nice grilled brown crispy grilled skin that I’m used to, nor was it hot off the grill or pan. The flavor of the broth was not rich—it had an unfamiliar flavor. Perhaps other dishes are better but I’ll likely not come back here again.

Sucks that this place isnt closer. I would have definitely loved to come here more often!Ate here with a friend after walking around in this neighborhood. Glad the food here is authentic and made the imperial rolls perfectly. Not expensive and service was great. I will come here again!

Updated review 12/15/2021:The price on the in-person menu is different than what they charge. My bill came out a dollar more than the menu price. No biggie. The Vietnamese crispy seafood noodles $14 were still good. There isnt a lot of other Vietnamese restaurants in the city that serves this dish. I prefer the way this place makes it because it is extra crispy without a lot of gravy to make it mushy.Updated review 7/24/2021:We came here on Sat 7/24 for lunch. As expected, the food was terrific. I got my usual crispy seafood noodles. O that first bite. It was crispy and then I dipped the noodles into that gravy to soften it up a bit. My friends got the beef pho special and the chicken pho. They all loved it. Great job everyone at Pho Huynh Sang!Original review:Indoor dining tonight 3/7/2021. Pho Huynh Sang only recently re-opened indoor dining on 3/5/2021. In terms of COVID protocols, they had barriers set-up for the take out counter and the back cashier booth. I ordered my usual #62 - Crispy Vietnamese noodles with seafood. It has been over a year since I ate this dish. This is the type of dish that arent good for delivery or take out as the gravy will soak the crispy noodles. When my dish arrived, it smelled so good! It was like seeing an old friend that you havent seen in a while. You can totally smell the black pepper and the fresh garlic bits. It came with plenty of vegetables and it was awesome. The gravy was a little plain but it did its job. It was a shame to see there were hardly any other customers inside because Pho Huynh Sang serves a good plate of noodles.

Lovely experience here, enjoyed the vermicelli noodles, many vegetarian options and I love their tender coconut water, it’s super chilled and tasty, lady was sweet to offer crack open the coconut for me.
