Service is crazy fast, I mean two minutes after placing our order everything was already out. I dont know what sort of witchcraft theyre doing back there but I appreciate it.Their drinks are also really good (especially the Thai tea) but the best item they have is the pandan waffle! Made to order and so warm and soft and fluffy. Theres bits of coconut mixed in which makes it even more delicious 😋 seriously order it if youve never tried it

This is our favorite local Pho place. We always get the rare steak pho and spring rolls. Also they have a boba machine and have really good Thai ice tea. Service is super fast for pho.

I have been to this restaurant many times. The food is great and tasty overall, from the rice dish to noodle soup. My favorite is the Pho Special with meatballs and the Rice Special Combinations. For drinks I like the durian shake.The service is very friendly and fast. You get your food in 5 minutes.The price of the food is very decent and great portions on all dishes.As for Vietnamese food goes in the city of Fremont, Pho 99 is your best bet on taste, service and price.

For lunch I went to Pho 99 with my co-worker, the first thought I had when I walked in was how beautiful and clean everything was. It was very hot today and I didnt want pho so I had the grilled pork chop, fried chicken wings and egg roll over rice. It was delicious, I absolutely loved the egg rolls. Ill be coming back to try other dishes. Overall I had a great experience. Pho 99 has a beautiful ambiance, friendly staff and fast service. Highly recommend.

Great Pho place, its busy but the food is legit. The service is very minimal but hay, were here for food right?Theyre known for the combination Pho so if you are looking for one dish to try, give this one a go. My rating for this dish would be a 5/5.The portions are big so even a small should be able to fill your stomach pretty well. Their menu prices are very competitive, but do keep in mind that theres a 10 or 15% hike in price due to inflation so dont be surprised if your tab turns out a little different then expected.Lastly, the drinks here are surprisingly expensive so give that a pass and stick with water until your meal ends and grab the drink elsewhere would be my recommendation.Overall, Im fairly satisfied with the food they offer and I will most likely be coming back in the future!

My experience at Pho 99 for pho was a complete nightmare. The place was disgustingly dirty, with a nauseating stench lingering in the air. The food and drinks were absolutely abysmal—undercooked noodles, bland broth, and ingredients that seemed far from fresh. I couldnt even stomach a single bite. I wouldnt wish this appalling experience on anyone, not even my worst enemies. Instead, I highly recommend heading over to Pho Saigon Pasteur Noodle House on Grimmer Boulevard in Fremont, California, USA. This place offers exceptional cleanliness and serves mouthwatering pho that will truly satisfy your cravings. You and your friends deserve a much better dining experience, so steer clear of Pho 99 and make your way to Pho Saigon Pasteur Noodle House instead. You wont be disappointed.

Noticed it was very clean upon arrival. Nice inside decorations. We tried the shredded pork fresh rolls, pad thai, and beef pho. All delicious with lots of flavor and generous portions. The service is very friendly. Have been here once before and was good as well. Will come back frequently.

Bowls are filled with noodles and protein of your choice in a flavorful broth, though there are others out there with more seasonings to completely the beef broth. Sprouts, basil, jalapeños, and limes add to the experience. Tendon is one huge piece of tender but chewy goodness, and the steak is served rare so you can watch it cook in the broth.Service is outstanding; everyone is friendly and attentive, and they actually check on you after you have been served to make sure everything is right, a service not often experienced in other pho shops Ive visited.The restaurant is clean, though the floors border on slippery. Parking is generally available but is shared with other shops, including a 99 Ranch, so you may have to search a bit. Easy access off 880.

Love this place. Been going here consistently for 5 years. Fremont has many Pho restaurants but this is my go to. The service is very pleasant and super quick. The food here is made to perfection and the their Vietnamese waffle is one of their best dishes.

The chicken pho was a little bland even after putting lots of hoisin sauce and siracha. I ordered the wings and didn’t realize they would be whole chicken wings. I tired to cancel that part of my order after it came out but they said I could only take it to go if I didn’t want it but I still had to paid for it even if I didn’t want it.Not the best service but the music was good.

Looks like there was a change of ownership for this restaurant recently. Family that owns it now is doing okay, but you will notice some changes. Tables and chairs all changed. Menu prices a little higher. Taste is still on par or same.Pros: Free parking; large menu choices; easy to find in the plaza and from the street; food is decent and portions are still very good; food comes very fast; takes cards and cash; noodles are consistent in flavor every time.Cons: Service could be improved; parking hard during weekends and evenings; floor is very slippery; bathrooms need a renovation; vietnamese spoken often and loud (normal tone with Asians); owners have had many technical difficulties with their card machine.We come here once every 2 to 3 months. It used to be more often. There is room for improvement. Will keep you updated if there are changes.

Dinner at 7pm then feel bloaty at 9pm, convulsively vomit and diarrhea from 10 to midnight. Gosh. I still dont know whats wrong with the pho I had, is it about the overloaded MSG or the staff not happy cooking for us in the middle of super bowl? And, I used MSG in my everyday cooking so I dont mind, but boy this is way too much!! You can even smell it!

My husband and I ordered take out (first time customers) because I was craving spring rolls. We discovered when we got home that one of our orders was wrong and they gave us something completely different. I also found 3 bugs on the lettuce in the salad as well as dirt. There were two dead bugs and one that was green and alive just looking at me. Needless to say, I was disgusted.The people at this restaurant do not wash the produce. I am almost afraid to even think about what might have been wrapped up in the spring rolls that I ate. What a horrible experience. We will not be eating here again. Disgusting. Too bad because I love Vietnamese food 😕.

Warm and inviting atmosphere. Visited on a day where it was particularly cold with rain. New management and owners have seriously brought the level of service and quality down. I used to come here every week with co-workers and we have entirely given up on the place. Its slower, they keep forgetting to give you things you order, they have repeatedly mixed up our bills with other tables, and they will no longer split a tab. Very disappointing change from pho 99 to pho Saigon 2.

It is one of the better spots in Fremont, but if you can make it to San Jose, that is where the better pho places are. Typical service where you can expect one cup of water and to not be checked on again until time of payment. They do accept credit card though, which is rare for a Vietnamese pho joint.
