Pho Banh Mi Restaurant
696 Fremont Ave, Los Altos, CA 94024, United States
I had this soup at this Vietnamese restaurant and it was un-pho-getable. The bowls that serve pho are generous portion with bo vien (meatball) and thit tai (flank steak). The broth was very flavorful. And you will love the glass rice noodles that come with it as well. If you have not tried pho before, then you are missing out on a lot..Dont forget to try their Vermicilli Bowl. An entire meal in one bowl is fun delish assemble system. You have chicken, rice vermicelli, fresh herbs, and raw vegetables, its topped with a tangy fish sauce dressing and served cold.

Just. Eat. Here! Please! There is a reason these folks have been around for 30 years. Picture this: 2 lunch meals with soup (hot and made fresh for you), entrees made to order. Rice topped with crispy wonton. And hot tea and ice water for 2. Total bill: $15.88..... So. Basically, with the tip its $20 for lunch for two. Not just any old lunch. Infused flavor and layered texture. The best thing Ive ever put in my mouth is their kung pao chicken. You like extra heat? Ask for the secret sauce. Vegetarian? They can make anything on their menu vegetarian friendly. Enjoy custom heat levels? I like extra spicy and they nail it. Flavor and heat... unbeatable. You just cant go wrong with this place. Its Pho-king Amazing.... did I forget to mention their Pho? This is chinese food meets Vietnamese food... with an extra kick. And the best part? You wont be hungry an hour later. This is our little gem... give the servers a break if you can. Youre getting the best deal in town. Like my fortune cookie said: with patience comes good foodNow.Go eat some Kung Pao!!!Pho king Now!
Pho Saigon Pasteur Noodle House

I have to say I am pretty disappointed with my last visit. There was an accident on the freeway and all the lanes were closed so I decided to come here and have dinner while the freeway clears up. I have been here before in the past and my experience was pretty mediocre. This time it was less pleasant than the last. Before I enter the establishment, their door was open, which tells me either they were being cheap about the air condition or their air condition was broken. Keep in mind, the temperature was close to 100°F. I was hoping to sit and enjoy the air condition restaurant but instead, I was eating hot food in a hot room. I ordered their roast chicken and it was pretty mediocre. With their restaurant door open to the hot weather it made my dining very uncomfortable. I generally don’t drink water provided by restaurant, but in this case I drank about three glasses, not because I was thirsty, but it was to cool myself off. Not surprising, the only employee that was working, was an old man sitting at the back table, watching videos on his phone. Though I do have to give him a little bit of credit for the customer service. I did have to fly them down to get a refill of water instead of him checking up on my table. For the price of the items on the menu, it was higher than I would pay at other Vietnamese restaurants. I would definitely have to think twice if this happens again about eating at this location.Price: $$Quality: BService: B

For a burst of aromatic flavors, try the Basil dish at Chopstix Vietnamese Restaurant. Whether you choose chicken or beef, this dish is a delightful blend of tender meat and fragrant basil. The combination of flavors is simply mouthwatering, and its a great option for those who enjoy the classic taste of basil in their Vietnamese cuisine.
Noodle Bar
1944 Fremont Blvd, Seaside, CA 93955, United States
We found this place on Google reviews and gave it a try. My wife had the seafood soup and I had the special, pork chop. We were very pleased with the food quality, quantity (the fried rice could be better- I ordered it with the pork chop. The dish comes with a bowl of consomme which was comfortingly delicious) and the price was reasonable. We had to wait as the dinning area is very small, but the tasty food made the wait worthwhile. We live in Monterey and the only Vietnamese restaurant close to us is Chop Sticks which it is not as good as this one when it comes to ingredient content, i.e. more pork, shrimp, etc. All in all, great value for your money. I guess well be driving to Seaside more often. I forgot, I also had the mango boba and it was delicious. They take cash only. I had to drive to Wells Fargo as their ATM did not work. Still, worth the wait and drive.
Pho Lan Noodles House

This place is a new Vietnamese restaurant in Fremont. It used to be a Thai restaurant that I liked to dine-in in the past few months, Bann Thai. The food was tasty, the place was clean, and the owner was friendly. The food came fast even though there were only owners who served, got orders, and checked. If you are a pho lover, please go and try it!
Pho Ha Noi - Fremont
43316 Christy St, Fremont, CA 94538, United States
As a fan of their other locations, we we are so excited that there is one now closer to us! We went during the lunch hour on opening weekend and it was busy as expected, but the wait wasnt as long as it looked to be because they were turning tables over quickly.Theyve taken over the PF Changs and they are the perfect new tenants for the location. Its spacious. Theres a main dining room as well as bar seating in the back if you can score seats there to avoid a longer wait. Decor and ambience is always one of the things that separates Pho Ha Noi from other Vietnamese or pho restaurants.Pricing is above average in an area where Vietnamese restaurants are a plenty but the quality is usually better. I say usually because we ordered the short rib pho and the meat was really tough and hard to chew. Weve had it previously at their PA location and it was perfect. So maybe its because theyre working out kinks still, but for this visit Id give the short rib pho a 3/5. The Sizzling Steak Plate is $28.95 and includes tender steak, a slice of a buttery patè, fries and a small baguette. There is a 15 min wait prep time but they got it out super fast. It definitely was not sizzling when it came out, but it was tasty and the sauce was really good.Service was fairly good with our server checking on us frequently, though she often forgot to bring items out that we requested. We had to ask a few more times. Water wasnt refilled and had to ask for that as well. Though one lady working the bar saw me looking around and asked if I needed anything.Overall it was a good meal and Im sure kinks will work out as they get their bearings.
