Pho Banh Mi Che Cali in Fullerton

This place was super disappointing, and I hate to leave bad reviews, but the food is just terrible.I decided to get the Pad See Yew and was surprised when it arrived that the noodles were separate. The veggies, chicken, beef, and shrimp were in a soup container, and the container was about half full with liquid. The noodles alone had zero flavor, and the veggie/meat was also bland like it was boiled, but there was a weird flavor from the chicken. Overall just lacked any flavor. It really feels like everything was pre-made and just microwaved.I also got the combination appetizer. Eggrolls were very dry, spring rolls were bland but ok, shrimp rolls were actually good (but it is literally just shrimp fried in the wrapper, so...). The included sauces did not taste fresh, and I really did not enjoy them at all.Maybe their pho is better, but I dont think Id bother trying because this meal was awful.

Got ourselves bowls of pho with soup, and some without the soup. Pho was okay just wish they had rare brisket but the eggroll and fried shrimp were a big no-no. Eggroll had some fishy smell and the shrimps were over fried. Only went this place for it was close from home but I dont think Ill go there again. Not to mention their service is 👎

I had the vegie tofu banh mi. The baguette was stale and tough to chew. The service is subpar, and they seemed like they were still in covid lockdown mode.Lighting was dingy and dim. The atmosphere was straight out ofSome communist country cafeteria.I dont recommend any food or Eating at this location

Driving by with some friends and we noticed this spot and decided to stop by since were bánh mi aficionados. As were walking in a sign mentioned buy 2 banh mis and get one free, at that point consider us fully invested in this place. Walk in and they have so much more than just banh mis. They have grab and go lunch boxes staying warm under a heat lamp, vietnamese/thai pastries and snacks, coffee, tea, macaroons and so much more. They also offer a buy one get one free on their teas. In the end I purchased a sauteed beef banh mi 🥖 and an iced coffee ☕. The banh mi was worth every penny and the coffee was bold and flavorful. My only critique on the banh mi is that the bread was a bit crunchy so it scraped the roof of my mouth pretty good but Ill pay that price anytime 🫡. Definitely hitting this place up whenever Im in town again.

This place isnt what it used to be. Before covid i liked coming to eat Pho here because it was delicious and the staff was cool. Coming back 3 years later the pho is mediocre, the quality of the meats is low. And to top it all off, you have to pay for water?? 2 employees refused to give me a water cup, instead prompting me to buy a water bottle. I sadly wont be coming back here...

Ordered pad Thai from this joint... that was my first mistake. I ordered it with shrimp, medium spicy. My noodles were over cooked, dry and lacked flavor. I also only got 4 pieces of shrimp. I did however get about a handful of serranos, 4-5 pieces of green beans and a dash of crushed peanuts. This place is becoming worse and worse. I’d advise you to only come here for their cheap pho and buy one get one free drinks. Everything else is overpriced and mediocre. Oh and they skimp you on your food . Most places place pad that in flat containers, this one was similar to those at panda for two items.If you pay with card, better bring your own pen. Because they’ll make you use the pen that every other customer has used with out disinfecting it.

This is a very functional place for Pho. The ice coffee was decent, and the bun pretty good. Its not a place you go to for atmosphere, although its well kept. We certainly enjoyed our lunch.

Great food and prices great service and I try penny wort juice very good

Order and pay for your food before you sit down. Different because youre not seated first so it feels rushed and adds to the long line. This works for hot food to go items but not for pho. They didnt bring all utensils out and waiter had to keep going back and forth, they also do not serve water which is why I give it a 2.

10/2/2023 = 3 Star = Dine in for a pho soup, looks not enough meat, no wonder their dine-in are not busy anymore, before we always dine in here but the service change, you need to order in the counter and sometimes line are long coz a lot of costumer buying togo food .
