Really great service! The bun rieu soup was tasty. Most Vietnamese restaurants dont serve this soup so I had to try this one here and I was not disappointed. Thought the egg rolls were a bit cold when they arrived, like they were pre fried. I would say prices are quite expensive, $70 USD for 2 adults and 1 child.

Good pho, 3.5/5.Really enjoyed the broth flavor, pretty good fresh noodles, but the meat was a bit sub par in terms of texture and fat around edges. Consistent quality, an impressive menu, and a casual, laid back atmosphere.The menu features many well-known dishes from traditional Vietnamese cuisine. The food is well prepared and packed with flavor. Prices are reasonable. Serving sizes are huge. You can never go wrong with the Pho. Ive tried it several times, and each time it definitely hits the spot. The rice dishes are delicious. It is served with Steamed Rice, and BBQ Pork, Beef, Chicken, Meatloaf, Pork Chop, Shrimp, and/or Egg, or a combination thereof, and with a light, fresh salad. Its the perfect combination of flavor and ingredients, which leaves a memorable, delightful taste on the palette. Exotic specialty dishes are also offered, like the Bún Bò Hué (Spicy Beef Noodle Soup) and the Quàng Noodle Bowl. Several sauces are available at each table and/or upon request to increase flavor or complement the taste are offered. My favorite is the fish sauce.Service has dramatically improved. In the past they made some small, innocent mistakes during their busy hours. One time the servers forgot to put in my mothers order. Another time they spilled water on our table as they were refilling our water glasses. But the servers made up the mistakes with their kindness and generosity: on both occasions they picked up the tab! Thats what I call great service.The place itself is not a Fine Dine joint. Its great for a quickie. Not the best to impress a date or your boss. But its perfect for a later date or if you want to casually hangout with friends and family. Its a laid-back, super casual eatery, with seating inside. No outdoor seating. Waiters take your order at the table and bring you your food. Restaurant offers take-out. Food is brought out pretty quickly (within 5 min during non-busy hours and 10 minutes during busy hours). Inside is pretty loud. Catch sports games on their 2 big flat screen TVs inside.Overall, great bang for buck. Food is good. Service is good. Pho-Ever has Noelitos seal of approval.

This review is for my recent meal purchased (crispy chow mein) for take out on 7/15/2022, the noodles were moldy. I didnt see it until the food was brought home - moldy noodles should be tossed out, not attempt to cook. What if it makes your customers sick? Im skeptical about coming back again.

Food 2.5/5 it’s the only pho place around the north country without going far east. Similar to the pho spot in Del Mar, it’s underwhelming but it’s also the only option out here. keep your expectations realistic. I could tell what I was getting myself into the minute I smelled the meat/broth.The pho and ingredients don’t taste like they do in Mira Mesa/convoy. If you can drive to MM/C, do it. Otherwise this place is… ok.Service 5/5 very kind staff and attentiveAtmosphere N/A a bit cold and it’s not a place you go for the ambiance.

Ordered via Doordash/Caviar and it was excellent. Best to go packaging for Asian food I have seen. The noodles for the pho were packaged separately but in the samevessel. It wasnt the hottest but that was easily fixed with a quick zap in the microwave. The wings were phenomenal! Lemon, garlic and shallots and cooked crispy. Shrimp in the fried rice were a nice size and crunchy. Highly recommend Pho-ever if you are in their delivery zone. Yummy

Was the best Pho Ive ever had. It was so flavorful. A good portion, you might be able to finish in one sitting, but they have nice plastic soup to-go containers for the more likely leftovers which is nice because its usually hard to finish all in one sitting. We took 4 year old and almost 1 year old and I really liked that the waitress said they could essentially make any dish as a kids item, and our son wanted shrimp so they made him really good fried rice with shrimp which both kids ate (my 4 year old actually like the shrimp soup more than his mom ordered and shared it with her). Waitress and staff were very friendly, inside was clean with a couple big screens for sports. Seating is comfortable with plenty of room between tables for social distancing or if you have a baby stroller with you.

Everyone in a Pho Cafe with workers that look like overworked Asia guys, well thus Cafe is normal with a pleasant receptionist/ waitress. It has bar seating, outdoor tables and inside. Nice black bowls & plates. They leaf peaked with the usual #1 LG bowl. $9.

Five stars for most ill-bred ignorant, classless wait staff. The waitress brought the credit card machine cued up to tip choices shortly after I began eating and says Im just going to leave this here but no rush. They were not closing soon or crowded. I told her to remove it. Yuck

One of the vegetarian egg rolls tasted strange, so I stopped eating it. The fried tofu in my vegetarian pho was incredibly dry and spongy, I think it was significantly gone-off. Actually, I know it was, because less than an hour later on my way home I had to quickly make a stop to find a bathroom lest I ruin the driver’s seat of my brand new car.Do NOT get the fried tofu.Also there were about 8 gnats on the sriracha bottle on our table.

Havent been in a few months, so I was excited to go to my favorite local Pho spot. Since I was last there, the prices have skyrocketed. $17 for a bowl of Pho!!! That may be the going rate, but wow! And the broth was bland. They no longer make any attempt at making the inside look nice. For the money, you would think they would move the 5 stacks of chairs out of the main dining room. Service was good, but this is it for us for now.

This is our familys favorite restaurant in Encinitas. The food is consistently excellent and most important, totally authentic. Obviously the pho is featured, but were always pleasantly surprised when we explore the menu. The chicken wings, shaking beef, and spicy beef noodle soup are all must haves! But perhaps the best part is that this is a family owned business and the owners are warm and friendly. Really good people.

Great food! I go for their shrimp fried rice and every time I have it seems to get better and better! Food quality is great, portions are amazing! If you get a chance to try their happy hour, do yourself a favor. They have great selections on local tap. Including my personal favorite Ballast Point Sculpin. Good local spot! Definitely a must for any Pho lover!

The best Vietnamese restaurant for 12 miles, then you get to their other location. We eat here almost every Sunday night we are in town. the food is fresh and the service is excellent. Foo, Cody and Don are the Sunday crew)I love the S12, spicy shrimp. (Ask for it Andys way, with extra cilantro and green onion and french bread) My wife loves the S11. I have not had a bad meal here. My wife loves the Pho, but its not my cup of soup. All the appetizers are exquisite and the portions are large.

Just ate here for the first time and it was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious and the owner was so incredibly friendly and helpful when it came to selecting something wonderful off of their menu. The Canh Ga (lemon pepper wings) Mi Xao Gion (crispy chow mein) and Bo Luc Lac (shaking beef) were incredibly good! I want to try something new next time, but don’t know which one I would give up to do it! :) My daughter had the pho and she loved it. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!!

This was the first Pho place I have frequented. I had a good recommendation, which was okay. I think it’s more about knowing what to order. Next time I really want to try the coconut curry item off the menu. It looked and smelled divine.I personally love Japanese ramen the most, but I’d be willing to give this place another try. The service was amazing; very friendly!The vegetables were extremely fresh and crisp. Everyone who accompanied me enjoyed their meals immensely and even ordered extra broth to take home and enjoy the second serving later. Just have to try around the menu until I find my favorite.

This is excellent food from a family who cares about their business. I enjoy the chicken curry. I prefer to eat it at Pho Ever over any other place. Their chicken wings are unbeatable. The bun or pho is will made... Is it winter or summer? I like the fried tofu and BBQ pork on top of the bun. Dont miss trying unique dishes too. Theres a soup with shrimp sausage corn on the cob that will warm you up for sure. Plus their rice plates and crepe. Theres variety to love.

This restaurant used to have the best food on earth. I do not know what happened but the menu has been reduced by 75% and the food is disgusting. I ordered curry chicken one day and the meat part made me cring with disgust, I figured only one bad dish in years. The next time I ordered the beef stew . It was boiled meat with thin sauce and I coul see boiled arteries or something protruding out of the meat . The pho had gone up in price by about three dollars.I am shocked that this place was so good and almost over night is so bad. It used to be my families favorite restaurant and now it’s the last place we will go.

Man I want to like his place but I cant give it more than 3 stars.Staff are a young crowd thats not organized. They will walk by a dirty table or dirty floor and not attend to it.Food is made with excellent ingredients and authentic too but every time (4 visits) the pho is not steaming hot. Its almost lukewarm. Insider cooking secret- *pre-warm the bowls and serve that broth boiling hot.I ordered a meal to go twice and the first time I saw my meal sit for several minutes before they called my name. The second time I saw my meal sit for several minutes and I had to go to the staff and ask if my meal was ready. They looked confused and said oh, maybe. whats your name? I was the only one there with a Togo order. Get it together guys.

The food is still great and the flavors are good but the service has gotten even worse the menu has changed and the prices increased. (with exception to one girl server). I was even told by my guy server that a smoothie couldnt be made because they were so busy.. I look around and dont see ANY hustle. I even see employees socializing.. I was so confused. I tell the manager and he was apologetic, said that it would be on the house, got my check and of course they forgot to take it off the check. But I was over it 🙄 I just paid the whole check and wanted to get the hell out of there! Even worse- I took my niece there for her 14th birthday. FAIL.

This was a take out, The soup is not hot enough to cook the meat. The meat is raw by the time I put in all the ingredients the soup went cold. The pho noodles is overpriced. Average pho noodles are $8 but this one is $16. I order a large but the take out is small. Not worth my money to dine in.

Pho was bland today. My son odered a beef soup, and the beef was raw, because the broth was not hot enough to cook it. It was really difficult to get the server’s attention in order to reheat the soup or even to get a glass of water.We were all so dissapointed. We have had great experiences in the past.If this had been our only experience, we would have never returned.

Disgusting. There was a fly in my soup. I was pregnant at the time so of course I complained and they decided to take care of the bill and told me the manager would be calling me the next day. Of course, he never did. On top of that, the server had serious attitude with us and gave us dirty looks the rest of the time we were there. Not my fault you cant keep the bugs out of your food. Oh and theres no AC so have fun sweating the whole time your there. Will never go back here.

Eye watering spicy (7 out of 10 spicy) clear your sinuses curry definitely added a kick with the Asian salad bowl with chicken entree!The combination was fantastic to my palate.Usually, Pho-ever has long wait. My love for Pho Ever’s 1st location in Vista gave me high hopes for this spot as it filled a void of good Vietnamese Pho south of Oceanside down to Shallots in Sorrent (Le Bamou doesn’t count as it’s way too pricey and fusion with no real pho). Lots of people are opposed to coming North or even South to more authentic pho.Tam did a bang up job working diligently to keep service, food and customer experiences uber consistent. There is good reason why it’s never empty and rarely a wait ever. I waited a long time for this to open and came here a half dozen times before I decided to write this.If you want something done right, sometimes you have to do it yourself. I’m sorry to say this but the staff, work ethic is a disservice to the great name and great food they put out. Service is inconsistent ranging from meh to bad with a good/excellent sprinkled in. Décor is good, kind of predictable, clean, a little too stark, but ultimately not modern, just new. Prices are comparable and downright cheap compared to Le Bambou.Com Bo Nuong is a good value, perfect rice, moist meat well marinated, not too much char. I ask for extra fish sauce for dipping to keep it traditional. Bo luc loc has filet mignon and is soft, beefy, but to me not worth the up charge. Fried rice is great seeing that beef is the same price as chicken and shrimp varieties. I like the Shrimp, but perhaps the rice is too light to be filling. Egg rolls are crisp, dense, flavorful. Spring rolls are tight, light and fresh, again ask for fish sauce to add to your peanut dipping sauce as you can barely taste it. Vermicelli is fresh, light and goes better with the bolder pork dishes versus fish, beef and chicken. Beef stew is hearty, but needs extra bread. Cari Ga is great over vermicelli noodles, the rice version is too predictable, but the noodles provide an unexpected surprise. Mi Hoanh Thanh is the gem of the meu, filling, fresh, not too bold, a bit of a secret if you ask me. Bun Bo Hue is a tad heavy on the shrimp paste, but I love the blood cubes and tendon, the broth is probably better for hangovers than people think pho is.Their pho broth is still one of the best, rich, not thick or oily. The noodles are never bricked. No thumb in bowl syndrome, the steak is still filet mignon. The meatballs could be more herbally bright. They do kids sized for $5 which is actually nice for smaller eaters. Large is very filling, Medium is probably good for most people.

If you call in an order or go to pickup takeout make sure they know your name and if you see any packaged food just keep asking them about your specific order since they often will have your food waiting and not bother to announce names for takeout/pickup orders.

I ordered for pick up and they gave me lukewarm broth! I had raw slices of beef and I didn’t realize that the broth was not hot enough until after I poured it in... I had to microwave my pho (sorry mom and dad) because the broth wasn’t hot enough to cook the raw beef. I didn’t order to go to cook the rest of it myself. They also didn’t provide utensils, hoisin, or sriracha. The broth was also really bland...pho never coming back.
