If it were possible I give them a 4.5. They are very fast and the food is always consistent. The broth is good but they are the only Pho restaurant around that has big pieces of beef without a bunch of fat. We order from there weekly!
Staff is friendly and food comes out quick, but the quality of food is not great. There are much better, authentic tasting Vietnamese restaurants in the area to go to. Its very sanitized. Rice was dry and hard. Prices are also a $1 or 2 more, portions are smaller in size. The Chicken Wings appetizer was skimpy for the price. The large size beef stew rice noodle soup was missing the tomato flavor, the chunks of beef were dry and tough (overcooked, not tender). And the lemongrass beef over rice was heavy in lemongrass chunks The lemongrass was really overpowering in taste.
Me and my husband ordered delivery from this place, and omg I can say I was impressed with how they bagged everything, individually separated and how good it was, it comes with a bowl just Incase if you guys eat somewhere you cant find a bowl. My new favorite pho place. Also the customer service over the phone was very impressive an shocking, which you don’t get when you call a lot of pho restaurants.
Good local pho place. The broth is flavorful. We also ordered the salt and pepper calamari which is usually delicious, but tonight the batter was slightly doughy still. Overall, usually the food is good. Chalking up tonight as just an off night.
The pho is awesome. I can only speak to that and their vegetarian spring rolls (they are good, but Ive had better). When it comes to pho, the broth is the most important factor to me and the broth here is good.Food and prices (and service) are great, but the atmosphere does leave a bit to be desired, so if thats important to you, youll want to look to other places. Finally, this place is also great for groups. A large group doesnt impact your service or food quality. Enjoy!
Been eating here for a few years now. Takeout is excellent, broth is hot, noodles are warm, and things are packaged properly. Interior was renovated and looks great now. Food is a solid 10/10
This place is consistently great. I love to go here on a cold night for some hot soup. I always get the rare beef pho, and my husband gets a rice plate. Both are always good. The food comes out fast as well.
It used to be good but they just keep taking away dishes that were great and replacing them with other things. There are no longer as many delicious veggie options
Never been the same since 2018. they botch all of my orders. i ordered a banh mi and they just filled the bread with a pile of lettuce and one piece of meat. i’ve been a costumer for years now, and that was the last straw for me. will not be returning or ordering ever again.
Food came fast, and the broth of the chicken Pho was so good. I was well taken care of and the prices are great. The coconut shrimp was tasty also.

Cant speak for anything else other than pho. Their regular bowl should be called a small with almost no meat, just noodle and soup with a sprinkle of onions, it just looks sad. Wanted to give 2 stars but they were very nice and tentative.Fyi, hot tea is $2.50
I love this place, even my 10 year old daughter. Every time we order online the food is ready in time. Our favorites are the Vegetarian Pho and chicken vermicelli.
Good service with outdoor and indoor dining. Prices are average and the food is quite flavorful. Only giving it 4 stars because they were out of boba.
Okay place for San Ramon. All I can say is it will do. They have popcorn chicken so that made me happy. If you order the wonton Pho, note the wonton meat is a little dry. Staffs are friendly and considerate.

Placed an order for pickup on Doordash and arrived at Pho Monsoon 45 min later after Doordash notified me that my order was ready. I asked the staff about my order and was told that Doordash didn’t work for them and I should request a refund on my order and leave, even though the app had told me my order was ready.
Cant place a order for over 30mins even there is only 3 tables. Not gonna go again.
I love this place. Always found the staff to be super friendly and so far havent had a bad dish yet. My favorites are the Vegetable Noodle Soup (Pho) and the Spicy Satay Soup.
Quick and delicious. This is my go to Vietnamese shop in the San Ramon area and Ive yet to be disappointed. Try the grilled pork soaked in sweet fish sauce, and have an iced coffee for dessert.

I wouldnt recommend this for Pho. The noodles are dry/old (?) and the broth was okay. The charbroiled beef dish was ready and the ginger rice was nice.

Banh Xeo could have been crispier but really can’t compare to the South Bay ones that specialize in it. Pork sandwich was good and choice with/without a can of side $10/$9. We love the ones from Saigon sandwich on Larkin in SF for under $6 but for being in the East Bay, my kid ate it up quickly and liked it.Pictured are: Pho #18 large was good but would’ve liked it larger. Bun Rieu isn’t offered at nearby restaurants so it was good crab meatballs and husband enjoyed the broth. I got the combo plate with choice of meat and 2 choices between a chicken wing, imperial roll or fried egg - asked if I could swap the grilled beef with lemongrass beef and told it was ok which was nice. Quiet service and they brought out the bowl of chicken broth that they originally forgot to give with the combo rice plate.

Kind of disappointing. Sandwich was about $8. Very light and had almost no weight at all. Will not repeat business.My local vietnamese restaurant sells a 12 bahn mi (sandwich) for $6.50. Picture #3 for example.

Its like a chore to actually take an order and worse if he has to bring food to you that you are paying for.The rice plates are okay. Way too salty and the meat is gristle with fat.If you must eat, the food wont kill you but it wont be anything special. The lack of care by the owner/staff makes this place a hard pass. Go elsewhere if you can. Eat dirt if you must.

We came hungry, and ordered many plates to pass around and share. All were delicious. Caveat: it was 105 degrees outside that day, so we did not have pho. Too hot! Still, this was the best Vietnamese weve had in ages. The only thing thing I might find the tiniest critique with, is that the portion sizes could be a little bit bigger. Still, Id rather sacrifice quality for quantity. Highly recommend Pho Monsoon.
