The restaurant is under new ownership. The food is great. However, theres one server that could be more customer friendly. Tall young man wears glasses. Is a little on the harsh side. Other than that, you have to try their egg rolls. And the main dishes are tasty! Dont forget the Green Thai tea to wash it all down😋

I asked for combination fried rice. Got two small shrimps and no beef and strands of chicken. Rice had no flavor. I think I’ve had way better fried rice from a hike I. The wall than this place. Not to mention for $15 they serve very little.

This is my first time at PHO-OLOGY, my wife and I were greeted as we stepped in. And we were seated right away they were kind to explain the menu for us. I ended up getting the Pho house special with pork buns an some spring rolls, my wife got the Pho shrimp and everything was delicious 😋. I enjoyed the pork buns very much.

Its a humble place very family friendly service, very laid back with tons of smiles, and unfortunately I dont have another PHO place to judge it by, but the times I have tried soup places, it always tasted like TOP RAMEN to me, delicious, but nothing I cant by at store and make a big bowl with 3 top ramen cups, so with that, I wouldnt know know how to make these home tasting soups, delicious- simple ingredients- well cooked and refreshing, the pad Thai is the sweetest one Ive ever tasted - almost reminded of orange chicken - in a good way,

Very consistent in terms of quality and service. So glad to have a great Vietnamese restaurant in the Whittier area! You can tell when theres attention to detail both in cleanliness and menu items. Their pho is super amazing, but you should also try their rice vermicelli salads, rolls, rice plates and chicken curry. Highly recommend! Give them a try and youll see why. The beef bone short rib ($13) was fall-off-the-bone tender juicy good!!! This bowl is all you need. Its not a usual pho ingredient (recipe) and a must try for new and seasoned pho lovers.This place is a definite return visit. The staff are very courteous and at a quick peak at the kitchen, the chef meticulously prepares each meal with passion and pride.The meal is awesome with a price point that will not hurt the bank.

Such a cute little family place. Very casual and authentic. The food is amazing! I had the lemongrass pork spring rolls and shrimp pho. They were perfect.Great broth for the soup. Came with lots of basil and lime. Loved all the noodles. Big, plump shrimp!The pork spring rolls were fresh. Good salad. Loved the homemade peanut sauce. Dipped with a bit of Sriracha and Hoisin...perfection!

Only order pho special. This was the best choice and egg rolls make sure to ask for extra garnish! Plenty of seating tables and the waiters were nice and friendly. You can order to go and they will package everything nicely for you. For us, we wanted to sit outside with our dog so they brought everything in disposable bowls and plates for us to enjoy, WORTH IT.

Even 1-star is too good for them. Dont go there. They discriminate and provide terrible service. A restroom is available only when you buy food, and not allowing delivery guys to use it. The servers and managers were too rude. So disappointed by going this place

This pho spot has tasty pho but what can one say .. once you had one pho the rest taste the same. however this restaurant has very attendant waitresses and servers theyre so nice which makes the dining experience so much better. Ive not eaten anything else off thier menu.. only the pho. Ill definitely try another item and update the review. The food was pretty good. There are 4-5 tables outside and they give hoisin sauce and sriracha. Only 4 stars because I wish my rare steak came out uncooked in the broth like other places Ive been to. Wrong prices on menu.End up paying 10% more because they are waiting on new menus. For being a B rated restaurant it isnt bad. The food was well cooked and lots of seating available. They dont have a wide selection of chili to add to the food that I ordered. The water was tap water and not filtered. But all in all not a bad experience. There arent a lot a servers but one does get served quickly.

Now I usually love eating the pho from here! This is or should I say was my go to place. My recent trip sent me to the ER with food poisoning, plus my mother notice a cockroach crawling in the restaurant. This places cleanliness really has gone downhill because I notice the cups and silverware were not cleaned well at all either. Im never coming here again and not recommending it to anyone.

This is a hidden gem a very affordable and well prepared option when feeling like you need to be warned up and freshened up as well they got you. My favorite thing to get is the varmacelli and a sampler of string roles. But the garlic noodles are to die for and of course the pho will broth life back into you.. Friendly staff

Earlier today, my niece invited me to this establishment Pho-Ology. Needless to say I was not impressed... To start, three people at start should mean three menus, I had to get a menu for myself... Next, plates were served along with utensils... no problem until we see a stray hair on one of the plates... Food did arrive in a prompt manner I will admit. However, we did not have napkins on the table... once again, I had to walk about and retrieve my own from another table. Food flavor overall was adequate but nothing I would return for any time soon. It is at this time I look about and watch one staff member sitting in the corner on his cell phone and the other sitting at his own table enjoying his meal... Lastly, comes the time for refills... I pass after the hair thing... my family member asks for another Arnold Palmer (ice tea and lemonade) only to be told there is a full charge on item... No Thanks.. I ask for the check and was told head to counter... It should be noted that these minor problems do add up to larger ones. I myself will not give my money to a business that doesnt seem interested in overall care for the customers.

This place is delicious! I really like it here. Ive only been here twice but its already made an impression. They have s pretty good lunch special.... $9 for small pho with a side of either salad, spring rolls or egg rolls.The flavors are clean and yummy. Got the garlic noodles. Went here with coworkers because one of our bosses gave a glowing review on Yelp. What a disappointment. It took much longer than expected, and we noticed that our coworkers at a different table received their pho way before us, even though we ordered first and had less people at our table. And they didnt give nearly enough vegetables. Did I mention the beaded string door curtain leading to the restrooms? You have to touch it before entering the dining room to eat, so you might want to have some wipes or sanitizer handy even if you just washed your hands.

Paid with credid card but put tip in tip jar in cash the joung guy that charged me came after me to tell me tip was not included in bill and i said i know i put cash in the jar and he said really . I honestly felt like going back and taking the money i had put there back. You guys here is another tip Tips are optional not obligated and and you guys have to pay more attention and make sure you guys dont ask for double tip. The food must be good, but why in the world would anyone come back here. The service staff is so rude. Worst attitude ever. The guy that took our order had to be repeated at least 3-4 times what exactly we wanted. Theres one server, and hes strolling around so casual,with no hurry in the world. This has been my all time favorite Pho place for a very long time. My friend and I would come here whenever we found time. We started to notice bad service but we are servers ourselves so we had an understanding of what a bad day felt like. Then it got worse. EVERYTIME we would come in, service was bad and they were always so rude. we asked for chili paste and our server actually rolled his eyes at us. They would approach and just stare at their iPad with no greeting or what would you like? if they said something it was ready? never making eye contact with us. My friend ordered the chocolate lava cake ( a warm chocolate cake served with ice cream ) and after waiting about 20-25 minutes of waiting very patiently we asked the server who looked like he forgot which AGAIN is okay no problem it happens. He then brought her a cold dessert with no ice cream. we called him over and after we explained it was cold his response was so? I mean at least offer a new one or take it off the bill, but nope. We continued to put up with the attitude because we absolutely love the pho here. The last straw was an order I called in. First off, the server did not care to even place my order and was very rude. My friends and I love chili paste so if it comes down to it, we do not mind paying at all. I asked him over the phone for extra and his response was Im only giving you 3 ummmmmm okay ? like I said if we have to pay no big deal but he didnt even say it will be extra just a straight no Im not doing that for you kind of response. I said okay and he literally just hung up the phone. Didnt ask if I was done or anything. So my friend goes inside to pick our order up and she asked the server about the chili paste and he then decided that it would be extra, and stumbled making up a number when she responded and said it was fine. The business owner must not care about the business I guess. I also wrote on yelp because honestly as a server I am very disappointed at how rude and unprofessional they are. As a server, I have a great understanding for what it takes, people are picky and customers can be rude! I get it, but i am not going to put up with this kind of service. We have never been rude to a server and always tipped well EVEN when the service was bad

2nd visit just as good as the first. Started out with the spring roll sampler think my favorite is the tofu has a bit of spicy which was great and unexpected from a spring roll. First time coming here. I didnt know what to expect or even how to order. I brought the family in to try this place. The food was good. The only thing I was not impressed with was the pho. For Example, we arrived maybe 10 to 15 min before closing, unknowingly we ordered and they gave us no BS about how they are about to close or it can only be to-go. We only realized because we were the only people left and the whole time till we left we felt no negativity at all from them even tho we prob deserved it. But as soon as we found out that they were already closed we got out of there aqap. BTW, They normally dont take $100 bills due to dumba**es trying to ripoff honest businesses.
