This is not my first time here. I alway Oder bun Bo Hue every time I come here. But today I want to try something different so I order the shrimp grill with the rice noodles. When the food come the shrimp was too small and it’s over cooked and look like it left over. No taste at all and rubbery. Look at the picture I put all shrimp at the small sauce bowl look how small it’s. And then I tell the server to change it to the grilled pork instead and she act like she doesn’t understand so I ask for the grilled pork on the side. She took it out and the meat was smelly and doesn’t seems like fresh at all. And then she brings me the bills while I’m still eating. I don’t even finish my dishes because it’s so disgusting! I’m so disappointed and not even say sorry. I will not comeback here and not recommending anyone to come here. This is my first time putting reviews on google I never want anyone bad business but this one is insane

Everything about this restaurant is amazing. The food is amazing. They should plan on expanding their store because they will be very popular soon. Best Vietnamese food out in hayward. Service is fast cant complain. Prices are also great. Keep it up..

Everything was ok from food to service, just that the rare beef slice a bit small, usually theyre like 2inch wide pieces, but this one here are like strips, otherwise no complaints. Soup was very tasty, portion for large was reasonable.

Ive been looking for a new Pho place and Ive finally found one. The place is beautiful and looks like a high class restaurant. A lot of these places are noisy, but this place is quiet and the staff is very friendly and their service is great. I highly recommend coming here.

Yes. You are seeing a large empty bowl. Because most pho places you eat the noodles and the meat, and youre done. This quaint little spot in Hayward, from the noodles to the last sip - O-M-G!!! Their noodles are probably THE BEST in the Bay Area, hands down. And one last bit of info, the clerk told me be ready in 5 min... Yeah? She wasnt joking. WOW!

I used to always go here, especially for the spring rolls but they suddenly stopped putting peanut sauce on the side and added a vinegar on the side instead. I called to double check what happened to the peanut sauce and the worker who answered the phone tried to gaslight me and tell they always put the vinegar (keep in mind I would get them like every other week), I knew he was lying and just hung up and took my business for the best Veggie Spring Rolls(theres veggie ham in them) in the east bay at Mais Kitchen in Union City. If you do order spring rolls be sure to ask for peanut sauce if thats what you want.

Not good! Ordered steak and mearball pho to go. It was all separated and cold. The noodles was all stuck together in a giant blob. Raw steak, that didnt cook because the soup was too cold. Not a good flavor either, couldnt eat it. I will not be returning here, wasted my $17.

Very good Pho. I ordered the rare steak soup and a side of chicken egg rolls. The beef was very tender and broth was absolutely delicious.Egg rolls were tasty and crispy.Some reviews mention they were served small portions; I ordered a regular size bowl and couldnt finish it. Service was friendly and fast. Parking lot is way too busy so we parked across the street (Safeway parking lot).

The girl who took my order was lovely but I’m rating this as 2 because the man with neck and knuckle tattoo was rude and dismissive. I was asking for extra sprout and he had an order to take to a table stopped and interrupted to tell me it will cost extra. I didn’t mind to pay but the way he had said it was rude and before I had asked him I didn’t tell the girl that took my order that it was to go and he was dismissive didn’t even give eye contact. Had he not interrupted it would’ve been a better experience. I wanted to return the order.

I always prefer Pho in every vietnamiese restaurant and the one from Pho Tai just feels right. The portion, the flavor and the hot broth, makes this dish a favorite.Employees are very kind, they always try their best. The place is clean and have space for dine in.

My buddy and I had dinner here thus evening and the food was so so but the guy who served us, full of tattoos, was rude and did not get my order correct. I mentioned to him that I wanted a large soup but he heard regular. Fortunately, I was charged for a regular bowl. Also, we had very little napkins and this guy didnt even come back to us to inquire if we needed anything else. On top of his getting my order wrong, he was rude and unapologetic. I didnt leave a tip for this yahoo and wont be back here.

It’s okay. Pretty pricey for the portion they give. If you want your money’s worth and good pho, go to House Of Pho on the intersection of Hesperian and West A St! Pho Tai’s Large bowls are the size of House of Pho’s small bowl! Cheaper & way better! Thank me later.

Their pho with rare steak and vermicelli with BBQ beef were both excellent and very delicious. Over the years I have been to many Vietnamese restaurants in the bay area but this small place serves some of the most authentic and outstanding Vietnamese cuisine in the area. A true gem!

I found this place on my way home and it wasnt a bad idea. I ordered brisket phó and within couple minutes it was brought to my table. Service was good and fast. Their avocado smoothie with Boba was excellent.

We tried this pho for the first time. I had the vegetable pho with vegetable broth and my bf had the meatball pho.Veggie pho- DELICIOUS! It had fresh vegetables and a great taste. It was a pretty big bowl hence the $13-14. I LOVED IT!Meatball pho- delicious in flavor BUT had a huge miss with the texture of the meatballs. These meatballs are made from frozen. They were chewy and SQUEAKY! The entire dish could be elevated if made with fresh meatballs. My bf would not likely recommend or reorder this particular pho (nor would I). Again the flavor was very good, but the squeaky meatballs were off putting. Not worth the $14-15ish dollars.We will be dining at this location in the future to try their other dishes. When we picked up the food it was STEAMING HOT! made it all they way home that way too :).The ambience was good and clean and they take a priority in their customers health. As theyve posted on their door, all of their staff is vaccinated.(PSSST! restaurant if you are reading this please improve/change your meatballs! Well only if youd like. it could improve your dish, this is the opinion of two customers ;) ).

The restaurant is clean. The decor inside is really nice. The staff isnt the friendliest. They kind if ignore you.I ordered two dishes: wings for appetizer was okay at best. It was over cooked and greasy. They need to let it drain more before serving.Now their name sake: the pho was really good. I ordered a number one and it was really good. Their broth is really tasty and with a bit of lemon it was excellent. Might be one of the best pho Ive had.Thats why Im giving them 5 stars regardless of their short falls because Ill be back.

The best Pho place I have tried in Hayward so far. Coming from San Jose was disappointed with the Pho places in Hayward until I tried Pho Tai, all the broths are good even the Veggie. Will be back again to try additional dishes.

Good food, portions and price are a little lacking. Shredded carrots Daikon and cucumber looked fresh and on point. The Nouc Cham (sik) was good. I Wish they offered some cheap fast Bahn Mi, as they would put the place next door out of business. I Also wish you could order say curry fried rice as a dish Togo like in a Chinese restaurant but most of there stuff are rice plates or Pho or items that dont work family style. If you have ever been to Tu Lan in SF the mecca of great vietnamese food then this is a very respectable 42% as good.

Came in on a friday around 2pm was sat down quickly, was a bit full so it looked like a great place to try. I ordered the chicken chow mein it was a good size portion on a large plate but it had a peculiar taste to it. Also had a chicken pho which was not so great either, lacking in flavor. I had seen this new restaurant numerous times on my way home and only got the chance to visit it today. This will probably be my one and only visit. Service was a bit slow and it was at 4pm when there were no crowds. Alert: they charge you for tea and its just a Liptons tea bag. How could you not serve Jasmine tea in a Vietnamese restaurant I asked? I ordered the rice plate with fried chicken wings and pork chop which was excellent. The nuoc mum (dipping sauce) was a bit bland. The rice turned out to be the deal breaker for my next visit. As it turned out it was spoiled and had a funny smell. After I brought it up to the attention of a worker (possibly owner), all he said was let me talk to the kitchen and didnt do anything. Prices are much higher in this place. I had better go back to Hayward Pho.

Wish they had fish sauce on the table.Have dinner at least twice a week on my way home. I like the noodle cook longer/softer due to my loose crown. My last visit was kind of awakening. As usual I ask to please cook my noodle longer and when the bowl arrived they had less meat in my large bowl. Looks like you cant request for special order or theyll minus the usual portions of meat.Hope the server read this and they ll know who I am. I do not pay $12.00 and have to plea for a softer noodle to be replace by lease portion of meat.A server did suggest fresh noodle and I tried it twice but had to complete my dinner with PBJ at home cause they only put very little of the fresh noodle that left me still hungry.

Pork was flavorless and chewey and frankly kind of gray tasting like it just defrosted with none of the BBQ char, fish sauce was watery and flavorless and the rice smelled a bit like it went bad but Id take it with a grain of salt it may have been a one off bad dish. Portions are also pretty small for the price and the amount of pickles was sad. But theres only been a few times Ive ever been this disappointed in a rice plate.

My first time eating in this place and it seems to me that in terms of cleanliness everything is very good, we took the broth that they sell there and it is delicious 😊😊 I eat fried rice with meat, chicken, and seafood ufff a delight I recommend it with eyes closed .. I could say one of my favorite places without a doubt. But theres a problem with the bathroom 😷😷😷😷 its okay to go in, theres only one thing to go in and its for men and women and the water OMG doesnt work, the one in the toilet doesnt run out of water and when the men come in they leave a disgusting foam of urine.. .😡😡😡😡 Imagine my girl wanted to pee. I was so disgusted
