This one has good tasting Vietnamese food! My friends love their pho soup, it has this deep flavor like they really spent a lot of time simmering the broth. I love their rice platters too (bbq pork and chicken). But my go-to is the cajun spicy shrimp! I had it with rice all the time but it also goes well with bread. I cant believe a Vietnamese restaurant can make really delicious cajun! The stew is spicy and tasty with generous serving of large shrimps, sausage and sweet corn!Of course, always order their spring roll and fried tofu for starters.

Nice spot for casual lunch or dinner. When you walk in they usually have you see yourself. The eggrolls were good and a bit different than eggrolls from different cultures. I really like the mint and lettuce to wrap them up…crunchy! I ordered the vegetable pho with chicken added. From what I understand, beef and chicken pho both have MSG added. Plus, I’d like to get my veggies in. The service was good. However, we did have to keep asking for things such as sauces and extra napkins which were not given up front. Granted, they do get busy after we arrive. We bring the crowds! 😂 The sauces are all currently in single used containers and none are just out on the table. We ordered two bowls of pho and had to ask for extra plate of the veggies. They only gave us one very little bean sprouts and we like a lot of veggies in pho!

Love the lime cured filet which is like ceviche but with fillet mignon and the spiciness flavor is excellent. The chicken is crispy and tender at the same time. First time trying the savory crepes and adding the different sauces dips makes it yummy. We were full by the time we reached the main meal and bo bo hue is nice to have if you want something hot and spicy. Cajun shrimp is recommended if you like Cajun of anything. Not to be missed.

I have tried their bun bo hue, pho, and egg rolls. My go to order is definitely the bun bo hue and the fresh lemonade. I do not know what sugar or recipe they use for their lemonade, but it is the most delicious thing I have ever drank. Their bun bo hue is HUGE and is one of the best that I have tried in San Diego. Their pho broth is delicious as well!The restaurant interior is simple and clean. The service is always friendly and fast. We usually go at least once a month and they remember us and our preferences!

Place has gone downhill over the last 2 years and prices have gone up. Wouldnt recommend anymore but heres my review from more than 1 year ago: I come here once or twice a week, not just because I work close by, but the food here is just outstanding and delicious. Im a Pho fanatic and the broth here is very tasty and flavorful. The combo fried rice is good as well so are the egg rolls and spring rolls. Highly recommend this place for Pho in Vista.

Very disappointing. Came to pick up lunch before I headed off to work. I paid over $12 for this small portion of meat. Other restaurants give more. And they couldnt even throw in a fork or a single napkin. Just get Hawaiian bbq a few stores down, they have bigger portions for the same price.

I order over the phone. My wife picked up the order. The Thai teas, weren’t full and she asked if they could fill them. They were tiny cups for $5, next door you can get better cup with more. I usually spend about $200 a week on food out and was looking for a good pho, place from my normal one to buy for everyone when they felt like pho.But the customer service and attitude my wife received showed you don’t care for your customers or your employees needs to have a talk about customer service. I’d fire my employees if they treated or talk to anyone of my customers that way. My wife wouldn’t treat anyone like that at her place of work. Rude is not ok

Who gives that many stars for this place? Large size of soup pho is smaller than a small size in the SF Bay area, 3 types of protein for choice included into the price. Soup taste like water with sugar and ajinomoto. Bean sprouts looked like waste, no cilantro, only small piece of basil

5 stars for service and quality of food. The inside is a little outdated but the quality of the food is seriously amazing and so flavorful! I love coming here when we’re out of groceries or if I don’t feel like cooking. I get the rare steak soup and add saracha to it :) also the spring rolls (bbq pork) with the peanut sauce . Delicious! I’ve been coming here for over 1.5 years now. Never had a bad plate.

Rice was under cooked. Grilled chicken did not look like grilled chicken, no grill marks and yellow. Stir fried dish looked unappetizing, rice noodled sticking together, vegetables brownish instead fresh looking green, shrimp were not fresh, they were mushy. Also egg rolls were not fresh.Everything was served in styrofoam packaging.Very disappointed customers.

We originally tried take out, and it does not do the soup justice. Coming here to eat in person is one of the perks. They are maintaining a good spacing for eating, and keeping their masks on. The food is delicious, and the service is fast. One of the best rated in the tri-city area for a reason.

I am Vietnamese, and honestly I think this restaurant is just mediocre. The food is just okay. My wife and I visited the restaurant for lunch on Saturday. She got bun bo hue, I got a chicken stir-fried. For the price (both $14.95 in 2022), we think it’s not worth it. I am 125lb, skinny, and don’t usually eat a lot of food. However, I left the restaurant and still felt hungry. Also, the way they ver it (in bowls) is not professional and makes it look cheap. Ha ha ha. The bun bo hue is edible, not too great. Fortunately this restaurant is not in a Vietnamese community and their main guests are non-Vietnamese. I don’t believe Vietnamese would go to this restaurant very often. There’re other restaurants in Vietnamese communities (like in Mira Mesa or OC Little Saigon) with wayyyy better quality, and a little cheaper. Finally, this is just my personal opinion.

The wife and I had the pho. She had chicken and I has seafood. Both were hot and delicious and packed with lots of good things. The broths were distinctly different. Some places we have been use one broth for all their meats, but not these guys. Nice little place, good service, very concerned about staying clean and covid-free.

This place is the best in SD for sure! They just opened up a new location, I do wish the vista location was bigger so you could fit more ppl at one time! Definitely a popular place, only time its not busy is when they are closed. Excellent food, broth is so amazing. Service is amazing everyone teats you great even though they are so busy they still take the time out to say hi and welcome back. This place is awesome! I come here all the time after work to have a refreshing bowl of pho or some fresh rice vermicelli with bbq pork and egg rolls. Yum, right? The most authentic vietnamese food in north county. The chicken curry is a must try. If youre feeling adventurous try the lime cured filet mignon served with home made shrimp rice crackers (so good and refreshing). This restaurant is close to my house and I have been coming here for over 7 years and it never disappoints! Do yourself a favor and try this place out...it will make a regular out of you!

Last night was my first visit, and I must say, I do look forward to trying their build-your-own Pho (never seen that before).The staff is so friendly, even to “those people” who show up at 8:30 😆 (yes, that was us last night, after two long days of moving).I had their Lemon Cured Beef, from the appetizers, and it was so deliciously flavourful. Also, it was huge! So, probably good to share between 4-6 people.I tried one of my companion’s beef broth soupS, and I am definitely impressed.The reason I knocked a star off is because of their hot tea. It was the perfect temperature for me to drink, which means it was a notch about lukewarm.

I didnt even care that much for Asian food but fiancée convinced me to try it once and I was I. Ediarely hooked on Pho Ever. this place is the bomb! Pho is delectable and owner is very nice and accommodating. Prices are reasonable and I have never had anything here I didnt like which is saying a lot for not being a fan of Asian food in general. This was probably the WORST service I have ever gotten at any restaurant I have ever been too.I went February 6th with a friend who I only see a few times a month. We were seated at the same time a party of 8 was seated. We ordered two drinks, an appetizer, soup, and noodles and received our appetizer and drinks quickly. This is where the service went downhill. We waited. And waited. And waited. An hour passed (I was keeping track of the time) and the party of 8, who were seated at the same time as us, were done with their dinner and leaving!! The party of 8 received all their courses while we were STILL waiting for the soup and entree. We got our waiters attention and asked for our check and told him how displeased we were with the wait. He assured us that our food would come soon but we were too grumpy and upset to wait any longer. He went to get the check and told us not to worry about paying.I was so disappointed with the service! I have always heard great things about this restaurant and the one and only time I go I received terrible service.I would advise you to go at your own risk!

We went here because it was rated 4.5, this definitely not a 4.5 star restaurant. Service was very slow, waiting 15 minutes to get served drinks ( It was a Weds night).The worst part of it was the food quality. The chicken in the sitr fry did not look like chicken and was clearly reheated an number of times. Was not edible. Very average tasting Pho (not vegetables). The ambiance was more like a diner and not a place for an evening meal.

I love these guys, they have my favorite eggrolls. The Pho is great as well as the vermicelli bowls and the spring rolls are great too. One of my favorite pho places in North county. I have a few favorites, but this joint is absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced. Whatever that means....its just damn good. The pho here has more delicate flavors than its competitors, the amount of toppings is fair, the noodles are perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of bite, its the place you want to go to if you want to focus on your meal.

The pho is quite good here, and I think the broth is excellent. Ive always found the service to be friendly and quick. I would avoid doing take-out, though. You dont quite get enough of the accoutrements (1 small packet of hoisin sauce is never enough, and you get far fewer noodles than you get when you order in house).Over-all, though, I would say this is an excellent spot if youre in need of pho.

We decided to stop in to Pho-Ever as we were in the mood for Vietnamese food. From the great reviews, it looked like a good place and it was also close by.We all felt it was the right choice as we started our dinner. We ordered the combination Pho #1, lettuce wraps, spring rolls, and Bun Rieu. Our spring roll appetizer came out first and they were delicious. The outter wrapper was soft and the ingredients inside tasted great. It came with 2 sides of peanut sauce. The rest of the food came out at once. I asked them to customize the Pho and they put the cilantro and onions on the side as requested. The soup was nice and hot so it cooked the bean sprouts as well as the rare beef quickly. The soup tasted well and my wife commented it didnt have a lot of oil floating around which was a good thing. Overall we thought the food tasted great and the service was very friendly. We also thought the price was really reasonable for the food.

I have eaten at MANY pho places and this was probably the WORST service I have ever gotten. They took so long to seat us (Just a party of 2 people) and took even longer to take our simple order. I ordered the seafood pho and once the food arrived I hardly could smell it. Thats a huge indication that it will probably be virtually tasteless, which is was... so I wouldnt recommend the seafood pho if you do decide to venture into this place. I had high hopes from a place with 33 reviews sitting at 4.4 stars that they would have better food and service. In fact, the quality of the food wasnt worth the cost by a long shot.

Delicious pho, plus so many other options. This place gets ranked in the top the pho joints in all of San Diego county every year, and for good reason. Theyre broth is the bomb. Have a large bowl of noodles and take the extra broth home for round two the next day! They also have a few good beers, sake, and wine to wet your thirst. Get service, very reasonable prices.
