The best pho experience I’ve had in my life. I’ve been here twice so far and both instances were exceptional. The broth is meaty but refreshing, the meat is always fresh and deliciously cooked until tender, and their herb toppings are crisp and delicious. They also offer many nice condiments but it’s so delicious you don’t barely need them at all. The drinks are tasty as well and I love how they offer complimentary unsweetened iced tea when you ask for it. They’re very generous here as well and the staff seem like very sweet people and the service is very good. I’d give this 10 stars instead of 5 if I could. Amazing. I will return! 👍
I decided to try it because many people said this place was good. Im not sure why people are so hyped about it cause it tastes just like any other pho restaurant. The bowls make the portions look big, but they mostly contain broth. The service is more like a fast food place. They give you your food and disappear. At least this location is much bigger than the other one, so I didnt have to wait too long. It was nice of them to give out complimentary meat bowls, but the food was very salty and had too much msg.
My wife and I decided to drive down from Northern California to hang out in Southern California for the 4th of July holiday plus an extended vacation. We decided to meet up with my family for dinner the first night and after a long drive, I didnt have the energy to look up specific spots to try out thus I leaned on my brother (a local) to make recommendations- Phoholic 2- was one of the choices presented to me. After some consideration and follow up on reviews and business website, we decided to meet my family at Phoholic 2 specifically the Stanton location because of its ample parking.Whats different about the business set up at Phoholic 2 is the fact that you pay upfront; line up to order your meal/drinks, pay (with tip) where then the cashier will hand you a number that correlates with your order. Not sure about other folks, but I prefer to tip base on service so I would recommend others to NOT tip upfront and only tip after your meal is finished; if you share the same philosophy then I would recommend to bring some cash at hand for tipping purposes.There was decent amount of seating inside and outside of the facility. The waiters will bring out the usual sprouts, lime, jalapenos and basil based on the size of your party or order. The service was great and the decor was great as well- nothing special to write about.Now for the pho itself, there was a good portion of beef in the pho, but I didnt find the pho aroma to be inviting. The soup itself, which all of my family agreed with, was on the salty side. In fact, I had asked for more lime hoping the lime juice would cover the saltiness...maybe I should have asked for some hot water instead to calm down the salt. In my mind, their pho did not live up to their promise as posted on their website- ....our local restaurants offer a sanctuary for Pho lovers seeking pinnacle of taste and authenticity. We are committed to the quality of the food....providing a meal worth your while.Looking back, I am not sure if its worth the extra trip to Stanton for the salty soup. If I could, I may assign a 2.5 stars to this business. I would prefer my old go-to pho spots- Pho 79 or Pho 54 in the heart of Little Saigon as they offer a better balance of flavor.
Always a great sign when arriving at a pho restaurant and the scent of pho welcomes you!Order by the counter and take a seat. Pho arrived after some time as the place was packed.The oxtail was cooked to perfection and meat fell off the bone. The soup was on the sweeter side - I prefer soups less sweet.Only feedback perhaps make the soup more hot as mine was like warm as well cook noodles less time as they were a bit too soft and tasted a bit overcooked.
Follow up visit after a few months: Went back again but this time with the family. Our little one eats very well and loves it. But I was thoroughly disappointed with the green color and old tasting beef tongue.First time: Food came out very quickly so I was happily surprised and a bit curious. Broth flavor is on point, seasoned well, not too salty and just enough variety of very subtle flavors. Steak meat was good quality and oxtail pieces while maybe small for some had enough meat on them to go along with the overall dish’s balance of ingredients. Good noodles and fresh basil 🌿 makes everything taste good. At a reasonable price of $12 (after tax and tip $13-14), Makes for a healthy meal that beats all the other America’s junk burgers and fried chickens. Don’t burn your money with those so you’ll have a heart attack later. Have pho! It’s much better for you.
The wait here is absolutely ridiculous because it’s good. The parking is even worse as it shares a parking lot with the gym. Ultimately, service is quick. You pay b4 you eat and leave when you’re done. The ambiance is cool. Typical of a phot restaurant. Has nice indoor and outdoor space. Best of all, it’s connected to rodeo 39 and there are all sorts of goodies i there. First time ordering a tropical drink and it was great. Highly recommend, just be aware of long waits.

Probably my favorite pho place! Next to food hall Rodeo39, it can get pretty busy but the line moves fast. Since making pho is quite stream lined and everyone just devours their food quickly you wont wait too long. Theres not too much service but you also dont really need too much anyways so thats not an issue.Pho: Get (bc why else did you come here LOL)This pho stands out as one of the best broths to me. It is definitely a lot sweeter than the rest and still has a clean savory taste. You might not even need to add any hoisin or siracha. For $13 across the board, just get the one with the most meat LOL its totally worth if you like all the different kinds. My husband and I love this place a lot. The service is very fast. The food is always delicious and a very good amount, the price is fair. The hot and cold tea is always free. I definitely recommend it! ♥️🥣
Theres a long queue when they open at 10a on the weekends but they take your order while youre in line and get a number. Theyll bring your food to your table. Inside was packed and outside is just as nice and have more space and cooler. Phở is very tasty and plenty of meat. I really appreciated the fresh veggies and sauces including sliced onions and blanched bean sprouts.
There are 2 dining-in options, you can either sit outside (foot court or patio with umbrella) or inside. If you opt to sit outside to avoid the long line, they will give you a stand with a Number. You would order and be paid upfront, find a seat you like and just relax the staff will bring your food to your table. We opt to sit inside since we have a senior in our group, the wait is about 15mins starting from outside the green bush wall. While waiting they brought out some winter melon drinks which were very refreshing. As we get closer to the entrance door, we would need to place our order and provide a name. Once we enter the door, we would need to pay, then they would assign a seat/ table number. Upon being seated they brought out a beef appetizer, it was very tender and flavorful. They later brought out separate plates of thinly sliced onions, bean sprouts, a rectangular plate with jalapenos, basil, lime wedges and culantro leaves. Overall, it was a very good experience, and the food was delicious. The big bone was a lot of fun to cut and eat. Not recommended for a 1st date. You can also ask them to quickly boil or blanch the bean sprout if you prefer.
Pretty spot on Pho. Their bowl is large and could easily be split into 2 portions (take out). The amount of meat they put in is plentliful unlike some other places. Bonus points for plenty of parking spots and extra fresh herbs. This restaurant is pretty crowded and busy, so go early or do take out if you dont want to wait.
Long line but they give out a free glass of wintermelon juice for people waiting in line. Pho is good but some of the meat, specially the ones with bones are tough. The bone with cartilage and tendons are a bit tough to cut and chew. Could have been better if tender. The oxtail was also hard. Service was good and fast. Most of the staff were nice and helpful. Place is fairly clean.
The pho broth was good. Pretty busy Sunday morning brunch hour. Thai tea was watered down, coffee did not taste like Vietnamese coffee. Order, pay, receive a table number to get serviced. Seat yourself.
We love going here. The quality is very high for a vietnamese restaurant in America. The broth has a great depth of flavor and the ingredients always feel fresh. I personally love the milk tea as it is not too sweet or creamy but is still very flavorful. Highly recommend for people searching for an authentic pho, or for people who just want a tasty noodle soup. Price feels slightly on the high side, but thats probably just being in the LA area. Portion size is great (I almost never finish a bowl in one sitting) so that plus the quality definitely makes the price make sense and worth it. This place is also almost always busy but the wait is usually very short. Even with a long line I doubt I wait more than 10-15 min from getting in line to getting food.

Really great. My partner brought me here for a dinner date. The pho was delicious. I got the number 9. Be aware. If you get the side of eggs its just raw egg in a broth. Not the usual ones you get at ramen shops.
New location in a more upscale area. I came in on the weekend and its packed. It took around 20’ to get seated and of course this is normal for Phoholic. Their Pho still #1 in the US in my opinion. You must try if you are in town for this. Their price is very reasonable

Absolutely the best pho I have had in a very long time! The broth had the right amount of fat to it, was perfectly balanced and on the sweeter side. The noodles were tender. Meat was plentiful and soft, not tough. I like how the bean sprouts were served boiled and warm and marinated onions were served as well. Delicious! My only complaint is that parking is a pain and the line to order is extremely long. This place is busy and for good reason!
Arrived here about 30 minutes before closing. We thought we were going to be those people that show up right before closing. There were people still in line when we showed up and some people even showed up after us. When you get to the front of the line, they take your order and let you know where to sit. There are a couple drinks that are free, hot tea is one of them (which I got). You take a seat and they bring your drink and the veggies (basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, jalapeno slices, and lime). Then they bring out the pho you ordered. Soon after. The broth was rich and flavorful. No one in our group added hoisin sauce to their broth. There was plenty of meat in the bowl, which is always welcome. I ordered the small noodles, which ended up being easily breakable (which I dont like). It may be because we showed up so late and they left the noodles out for a while. Someone else in the group ordered the big noodles and those were fine. Nice and flexible as expected.

You could also choose between thick or thin noodles.We ordered a #11, #12, additional back rib and bone with meatThe steak was super tender, honeycomb was crunchy and the tendon had a super nice, soft textureThe broth was also great, sweet and flavorful yet not too oily or over seasoned! Very Solid Pho with a unnique style of service.You place an order and pay with the server before being seated. Then once seated you are served your food. From when I ordered to when I sat down, the food arrived within 2 minutes. Insane!
The broth is simply outstanding.I dont think no one work there speaks English. And they dont have Sriracha. Theres a station by the exit door that you go to grab chili sauce, napkins, bag abd to-go plastic cup and lid. Almost self serve, therefore a three star for service. Atmosphere, nothing special. A typical pho restaurant atmosphere.
We came here yesterday but the line was super long, We decided to come back today, and let me tell you great decision! The lines moves super quickly so even if its long, stay put! You pic what you want, grab a table and they bring your the food right out! This is some of the best pho Ive had, and Ive had plenty from different places. If you enjoy pho you have to try this place! Delicious! I got number 7, cant remember exactly what it was...ooopsy, its super reasonably priced too. ENJOY!
I dont know what they did recently (within the past 7 months or so) but their soup has a new nuanced flavor and I LOVE IT!!This place is fast and good quality and i love the vinegar onion and the chili oil.This is one of the best pho’s ive ever had.Even though their food is good, sometimes their service can be off. There was one time where i had walked out the restaurant to handle a call and they took away all my food and gave my table to another person! I told them about it and they promptly replaced everything for me but it was such a hassle to deal with.
Another amazing bowl of pho! This location, you pay first and then they bring your food out. I like how efficient it is. The wait is not too long and phoholic is pretty consistent. I came at 8am and there is no line.
Location is WAY better than their first branch. The broth is good.. Not way too rich but not water down either. Ive eaten a LOT of pho in my life and sometimes I do feel sick of it from eating a large bowl but not here. They dont over do it with their broth and yet you can taste the fundamental ingredients. There is a small hint of sweetness though. Their noodles are cooked al dente style...they way pho should be cooked. Not mushy and soft. I think l will come back to try their other combinations.
It’s pretty good, but not entirely sure what all the hype is about. It’s a cheaper than most places but not by much. I wouldn’t wait in line for this. Go during an off peak time.
Im from the Bay Area, but Ive heard so much about this Phoholic in Orange County, so when I visit OC a few weeks ago, I took my family to try it out and it was as great as people complemented. There are 2 locations and my friends recommended the new location in Stanton which was supposed to be less crowded but its still full of people waiting regardless of days or hours, its amazing. We were in OC a few days and we had to come here twice because of the Pho and the prices.This one is sitting in a food court quite huge, the parking lot has plenty of spaces to park. The place is quite clean and the service is amazingly fast. Everyone pays as they entered and ordered the menu, so theres no bill or waiting inline to pay on the way out. If you missed something, you have to wait a long time to get it like my daughter wanted the boba drink of some kind after we finished our lunch.Lets talk about why its so popular. The bowl of Pho is quite large, and I believe there are many sizes. The bowl full of meats and pho is only $9 and I didnt have to complain about the quantity or quality. I always like briskets and cooked meats, the meats were tender, full of fat, tasty and the fresh pho was perfect, the rare beef was quite tender. The soup was just right, enough flavors to be a great bowl of pho broth. Vegetable are fresh and plenty. Every order comes with Ice Tea if you preferred. The sitting can be outside or inside depends on the time of day and how crowded it is. We sat outside when the inside was full and sat inside when there were seats, either one has air conditioning which was quite comfortable on our hot days.This restaurant is a must for anyone who visit Orange County. We will definitely come back when we visit OC.
Came here for dinner on a Wednesday at 5:30PM, only a few people ahead of us in line. By 7:30PM, the line was really long. It was a decent size bowl, soup was flavorful. Service was quick, staff was nice. Our pho came out in under 10 mins.
This restaurant is set up for faster service. So the interaction with the staff is at minimum, similar to a fast food restaurant. Another downside to this setup is that customers are not waited on after the food is delivered. After one placed the order with the host, one is given a number. One is free then to choose any available table.The atmosphere here is better, in my opinion than the one at the older location. The outdoor seating is nice.While I think the phở at this location tastes the same as the one at the original restaurant, my spouse believes the meat here looses its texture because it’s overcooked. All the different styles of phở come in only one size bowl: enormous. The broth is savory, the noodle on point. The condiments let one customize one’s bowl of phở: the herbs are fresh, the pickled onion offers an added dimension of taste.I will suggest a return to this restaurant when we are in this neighborhood.

Food is very good and fresh. They also serve you fast. Restaurant smells clean. Tables can be dirty from previous customers that’s the only down fall. There is very little interaction with staff. You order at the counter and then someone brings you drinks and food. Sauces, napkins and chopsticks are at the table. This place is very popular at lunch and can have long lines. Choose times that don’t fall on lunch or dinner times. I do enjoy there food and will go back

Honestly one of the best pho spots that I’ve been to in the area. The broth was good and I got extra tendon which made it even better. I’ve driven past the area a few times and the line seems to always be long but it moved pretty quick when we went.
My family and I decided to see what the hope was and came on Saturday at 5:00pm. It was one of the poorest service I have ever experienced. To start off, they tried to seat another party at our table and we kept telling them the 2 chairs were used because my 2 kids were playing outside while waiting for food. But they kept insisting for the other party to sit. This went back and forth between the 2 parties and the front girl just kept staring and doing nothing to help clear the situation. . Then when our food arrived, they got it wrong and argued with us. The menu is small, just beef pho. No chicken and no kids menu. Definitely not kids friendly. The pho was not worth the poor service and the place was a mess. It was dirty, messy, and loud. Not thank you. There are definitely better pho restaurants in little Saigon.
First time I had pho here, I thought it was pretty good but some things I dont like about it.1. The pho broth is too greasy/oily. My lips become overly oily after eating it and my stomach feels a bit uncomfortable.2. Just my assumption but I think they use too much msg in the pho. After finishing my bowl, Im so thirsty. For me at least, whenever I eat something with msg, it makes me unusually thirsty.Ate here 3 other times with the same experience.Their prices are reasonable though and good portions.
Disappointing visit to this location. Lukewarm Pho lacked pride, and the servers cruel response, including dumping a bowl of Pho, was unprofessional. Wont return and cannot recommend. A regrettable dining experience that falls short of expectations. It was evident that the rare stake came out after sitting in the broth for a period of time and still did not cook. It was shown to the server that it was still raw and bloody.
Broth was very meaty but lacking a bit of the pho seasoning aromatics. Meat was plentiful and very flavorful. The line went pretty quick and my family of 13 all got our food within 5 minutes of sitting down. Overall would recommend for big groups.
This place spoiled me because I cant eat pho anywhere else now. Its that good. They only serve pho there. No rice dishes, no spring rolls, etc. It comes in one large size bowl. Pick a bowl of your choice and pay $12 at front register and someone will seat you and bring the bowl to you. Enjoy it, then just get up and leave. Dont bother paying $15+ bowls of flavorless pho somewhere else.If you want chili oil, ask for it at the register. Good luck trying to ask for it from the waiters. We got ignored three times by three separate rude little asian men.. smh.. still giving the place five stars just for the food. Its that good 👍

This place is always crowded and for good reason: the phó is delicious. Worth the wait for the tender meats, tendon and tripe. The broth is well flavored and full that youd drink it all after eating all the noodles. Reasonably priced and located in the Rodeo food court.
One of the best Pho broths I’ve tasted, really knocks it out of the park on this front.We got a #4 and #9 and they were both good, the meat on the #9 was a bit underwhelming, but overall still good.My wife ate hers with ‘none of the fixings’ because she said, “You can tell it’s good because I don’t even need any toppings”Would love to try some of the higher level dishes!
If you aren’t patient enough to wait outside in the heat for 30-40 minutes then I highly recommend not to come during their weekend rush hours between 12 to 1 pm. Pho broth was rich and flavorful but you can definitely enjoy pho from other authentic restaurants in the OC without the long wait if you’re looking for a quick pho-fix.
Lots of dining places inside and outside. Base price of $11.99 per pho bowl which includes about 15 variations. Broth isnt as good as other places but they give a lot of meat and noodles. A good local staple and tourist place.
Did some research and found this pho spot. Really glad I came here. The place was busy and it was only 10:30am on a weekday so you it’s good. The Pho was tasty and I love that they have the bone and rib options to get on the side. If in the area I would stop here for sure!
Nice place, liked the fact you pay first and can leave as soon as your done. Its a new location and gets busy during evenings hours. My was experience was with the exception of the big bone, I was surely looking forward to eat but was so hard I think they forgot to cook it..I asked for no onions because of my fiance but waiter forgot and kinda got upset when I mentioned. But liked the place location..you will have trouble looking for parking weekend evenings.

Cant get enough of this place and their pho. Even with the language barrier the servers were very attentive. Kudos to our guy server that gave my nieces their own little bowl of pho for free thank you 😁. Their pho is amazing. I usually get the steak and oxtail pho and it always hits the spot. Get there early tho cause this place gets packed, a good sign that this place has delicious pho. Highly recommend 👌

This is one of my favorite pho places in my life. Good price wkth wonderful food. They are always super busy, but pretty quick table running. Even if there is a long line, not much waiting rather than other places.
Its an all beef pho restaurant... meaning no appetitizers or seafood or other proteins just add-ons. Theyre always busy because their beef pho is good is worth the wait and worth dealing with servers that barely speaks English. Even their first location(hole in the wall) is busy.
This is one of my favorite Pho restaurants around. The broth and quality is very good. They just raised their prices again to $12 per bowl. Its worth it and I know that prices are increasing everywhere. They always have a long line but are fast and efficient.
Waited in line approximately for 30 mins before we were able to get a table and it was a Tuesday. Once at the door, staff took our orders and paid before we sat down to speed up process I guess. Got the Holic #11 from their menu and it was pretty tasty. The pho broth had nice flavor, maybe a tad on the saltier side for me but still was a better tasting pho broth compare to other pho I’ve had in Cali. The best part was the meats. The #11 had a nice variety including steak, flank, tendon, and tripe that were cooked well and generously portioned. The noodles on the other hand was a bit overcooked for me. I like my noodles a little more bouncy but it was too soft for my liking. As I was eating my pho I was curious about the metal bowl that was served in. What is up with that and who came up with that idea? Kinda of a weird choice in opinion. Anyways, the food came out quick so that was nice but all the staff seems depressed for some reason. I guess if you serve pho long enough you get depress too.

Very big beef bone with a lot of tendon on it and i t is only $5. The line for all 2 Phoholic restaurants is long from the morning till night but their service is very fast. Also very competive price comparing to other pho restaurant. The amount of meat is extreme.

The food was great! The service was really fast. My coffee couldve used more creamer, but was overall good. I had a combination meat pho and it was so good!
We got there around 7:30pm and waited for more than 1 hour to have bowls of COLD Pho.After an hour sitting down, I confronted the front desk about why we had to wait for that long and the mean service girl at the front door told me that there were more orders in front of ours. I looked around and everyone had food in front of them. I told her about it and she looked right at me and said Do you want to check? Well.. Very nice attitude toward an unhappy customer who was waiting for that long at that hour. RUDE!!! If we didnt HAVE TO pay for our food and TIP UPFRONT, we would just leave. Then, after another 30 min, we got served with cold bowl of Pho. So, the real problem was that our food were ready in the kitchen but no one has time to serve us until they got cold. WILL NOT COME BACK.
Voted best in OC and I can taste why. This is the second location located adjacent to Rodeo 39 right outside the big door way.You order and pay at the door then seat yourself (at least we did because we sat outside, maybe they seat you if you sit indoor).Everything on the menu is $10. Super cheap and authentic quality. Usually oxtail would be extra but all 16 items is $10 each. You get a choice of large or small noodles. Go with the small, it’s less starchy and filling.A plate of veggie herbs came out, plate bean sprouts and extra onions. Along with sriracha and hoisin each in a two ounce cup.The pho is served in a metal bowl. I took a sip of the broth and at first, it was salty but that’s before I mixed it or added limes. After I did, the bone broth was flavorful. Everything came together.Most importantly is MSG, we are very sensitive and stop eating at places that uses MSG. We didn’t taste any here or it’s very light which is a plus.

Everything you hear about the service is correct as they dont really care to tend to you after you pay first for food. We waited 40 minutes for the food after placing our orders in a party of 8, and turns out they forgot to bring out a total of 4 orders. Never did they care to check in with the table for anything, so we had to go up and mention it to what seemed to be the manager. He didnt even acknowledge us after we stated our food hasnt come out and instead walk talkid the kitchen staff to come deal with it (AND THEY STILL GOT AN ORDER WRONG).After waiting an hour for food to come out, we finished eating and wanted compensation for our time. This doesnt mean just a refund, but maybe even an apology. The manager tried to argue with us and said we ate all the food as if it was our fault the food did not come outOverall: The food was only okay and the service was very bad. Would not recommend others to go.
I think their Pho is pretty authentic. It reminds me of Vietnam a lot. If you’re going here, make sure you get egg in the soup too. It’s very tasty.
Restaurant is big and shiny, too white of the light that I feel I were in the hospital. The soup was meh, not much bone braised taste to it. Meat was ok. I would say quality is 80% of my last pho holic at the original restaurant.
This is one of the best places for pho in OC. Before you even get close to it you can smell the beefy soup goodness. Seriously good and quick service. Not often that you find great pho in a clean modern environment.

Amazing pho. The line was long, but it was definitely worth the wait. The service was fast despite the number of people there. Price was very reasonable, and the food is delicious. Fresh noodle was the authentic type, the broth was great, and all the meat types were tasty and well cooked. Overall, one of the best pho places in the area.
Food is just superb! The broth is amazing! If you want to introduce a friend to eat Pho, this is the right place.My only negative comment is on the drinks. We ordered Milk Coffee, but we received the cup filled with so much ice that we couldnt even put our straw through. I loved the little bit of drink, which I had to take the lid off to be able to drink it. My guests did not drink it, it seemed like we only had ice in the cup.

OMG this is the best place on earth. Food is so yummy, prices are so affordable and huge serving. Friendly customer service too. Pay first and sit down. You will have food served within 10 min max. I love it!
My 2 friends and I’ve have come here twice already, it’s a pretty busy place so understandable if it takes awhile to be given service for a cup of water. Our first visit we asked for water and reminded them once still never got it and ended up finishing our pho without anything to drink. But after tonight they took about +10 min for one of us to stop them in their tracks and ask for water, they never once before that stopped to check in on us and see how we were doing. Their broth is on the sweeter side also.
You know it’s good phở when there is a long line to order. There is seatings inside and outside. The bowl was huge. The broth was perfection. Parking was plenty for a Saturday night. We had phở tái and Việt ice coffee. Coffee was good too. Strong and not super sweet.

Flavor is there, pretty good quality broth but a bit on the sweet side. A bit less sugary sweetness would make it perfect.UPDATE (9/4/2021):Reduce rating from 4/5to 3/5They raised the price in Sep to $12. Just as context, the price in May was $9, in July was $10, in Sep is now $12. 33% hike within 4 months is hard to swallow, though somewhat understandable. For me, choosing Phoholic from a no-brainer to a may consider. It was from a great price for good taste, ok service to just a fair price which means they have no advantages over other Pho restaurants in term of taste, quality and services.

I was just here at this location. I received horrible service. We ordered our food and sat down and didnt realize we could order some iced tea. We asked the servers and they gave us a remark by saying next time we cant just ask for it and that we had to do everything when we ordered at the kiosk machine. Its simply just a glass of tea. The remark was very rude and not necessary. Horrible service at this location. Never coming back.
Part of the Rodeo 39 food hall in Stanton. The broth is out of this world and perfectly balanced. As of this writing, May 2023, they are no longer providing sriracha at the table due to the shortage. So bring your own in the travel sriracha bottle that you can affix to your purse or backpack from that famous sriracha maker. You have a choice of 2 noodles and an amazing choice of meats to accompany your noodles and a plethora of veggies (not just the usual 3). From what I remember beans sprouts, basil, chili slices, onion, green onion, sawtooth leaves and cilantro. Even though a drive to get here it will be a go to for pho. Comfort food extraordinaire! Also nice to walk around the food hall to see what else is available.
We visited Knotts Berry Farm yesterday from Las Vegas. After a full day of fun we got hungry. My son was craving Pho for meal before driving back to Vegas.Our Vietnamese close friend (Nathan Ly) suggested this joint. I inputted the name in google map and right away seen their high reviews and very closeby from Knotts.Without doubt we headed there. Its located in a kinda new complex with lots of shops and other foods.Without hestitation we stood inline to place the order.Pricing is great to the portion wise. Maybe its even cheaper than most Pho in Las Vegas.Service was quick and after ordering youd be given a number and table. You can seat inside or outside. Lots of tables.Broth flavor is probably the best ive ever had. Even my wife and kids instantly agree. We arent strangers when comes to Pho so we know whats good stuff.The only down side is they only have Pho.. not other Vietnamese dishes.But here is the BEST and ONLY place for Pho.

Not cheap, but high quality.Anything from a basic bowl of noodle soup to a loaded bowl of pho filled with all the meats. The meat is high quality and the bowls are all large. You have a choice between thin and thick noodles.I added oxtail to my bowl and then we got the bone to pick at.The broth is so flavorful with a little bit of a sweetness to it.Highly recommend.

Had to try this place out. Waited in line a bit, but pho not bad. It’s an LA thing. A little overrated to me. But the place was packed. Went to their #1 location, wait was almost an hour. Went to #2 location and waited about 20 mins. Good atmosphere. Pho was ok. Service was acceptable, considering how busy they were.

I love the original PhoHolic and was happy to hear that they expanded locations. The area is nice and the new location is definitely more spacious. However, my first time was not impressed. When we were called to get seated the table hadn’t been cleaned yet. They were cleaning it as we were just awkwardly standing watching them (group of 7). This happened 3 separate occasions to other customers as well. Then the pho broth was not as hot. I had pho tai and the broth usually cooks the meat. This time it was luke warm so my meat did not end up cooking in the broth. Taste is still good. Very disappointed in the service.
Im a YouTuber. Before I go eats at this new location PhoHolic 2 and I made a phone to the restaurant a young men Vietnamese Manager to approve me to eats there and help them promoting their business more clients business, the Manager said OK. I came next day to eats and pay for my bowl of Pho Noodles and I sat down my table and I ask the young man Manager to let me record video of the restaurant little bit, he approved me do some recording video around the restaurant. Then the old lady owner saw me standing at my table holding my phone camera aiming at the kitchen view which I stand outside the kitchen and she yelled at me. So I stopped immediately recording my video. My bowl Pho Noodles brought out to the table I still eats my Pho Noodles and Im still eats my bowl of Pho and I still trying to keep cool with a smile face and enjoy my Pho although I got yelled by the old lady owner. I ate the Pho and I still says the Pho Noodles was good delicious in my video YouTube and still trying to promote the Pho Noodles food was excellent. But in realities in my mind. I wasnt happy that I got yelled for helping them to promoting their business more bigger clients and I still trying to swallow the foods into my mouth and I cant swallow the Noodles into my mouth because I got yelled by the lady owner which approved by a young man Manager the day before I call him on the phone and when I arrive to PhoHolic 2 I asked him again before I recording around the restaurant and he approved me, he said go head and record whatever I need to do, he approved me. I sat there eating my bowl of Pho wasnt happy inside me my mind. Which I already payed for my order bowl of Pho Noodles at the cashier first. I finished my bowl of Pho Noodles and walked to my car parking lot sitting in my car and my stomach hurts from the bowl of Pho Noodles. Good for big group or with kids, plenty of space for them to run around. Atmosphere is dope, trendy. Pho was not as good as Bushard/Bolsa location and temperature is not super hot (i prefer my pho at tongues burning temperature). However, I like their service though, we came in with 2 small kids so we ordered 2 bowls and 2 empty bowls to split for them but they brough out 2 full bowls plus 2 small bowls with noodle and meatball already in (without extra charge). Big thumb up for that!!!
This is our family’s favorite pho place. Decent portions when you eat there. If you’re lucky, they sometimes give you an extra small bowl of beef & broth.To Go orders are skimpy on the fresh noodles otherwise, they’d get a 5. I thought it was a fluke at first, but each time, skimpy skimpy portions for the fresh noodles.Parking is crazy, so leave enough time to find parking if you’re meeting up with people.

Hands down the BEST phở we have eaten ever❣️❣️ you can taste the deep flavor of the beef bones simmering for a long time.... all the meat choices were delicious and cooked to perfection. The broth was still steaming hot by the time we finished 😋 Service was awesome❣️❣️ it was extremely busy. Line out to the street the whole hour we were there and yet they got their system down, managing the crowd with ease. Love this place ❣️❣️

The pho here was appaling, especially for a Vietnamese staffed restaurant. The noodles came uncooked and hard to the table. I understand the need to serve customers fast but to serve hard vermicelli is just sad. Especially when there was more beef than there was noodle and both the broth and noodles were just okay. Its apparent they dont really care for the restaurant. Difficult menu access and rush processed during the waiting line and ordering. Its best you go to a family restaurant rather this branch. I dont blame the workers for poor customer service but more of the companys drive for profit rather than good food.

Good pho at a great price. Place is always busy. If you plan on going on the weekend, be prepared to look for parking and standing in long lines. But on the plus side, its located inside Rodeo 39 which makes a great place to just hang out with family and friends after eating...... if you can find parking LOL

Fantastic pho. I appreciate the choice of broad noodles over the standard (thin) variety. Broth was a lil salty, but the cuts of beef were superb. Lots of fresh herbs served too, which is always nice 👍
Got a bad diarrhea right after eating. My husband got an upset stomach too. We have been to both PhoHolic 1 and 2. Never got problems with the Pho from the location 1 but we have had so many trips to the restroom right after eating at the location 2. First we thought because we had the milk tea. So today, we only had hot water. Guess what??? My husband had to rush home for me to use the restroom. Hic hic.

Dont be deceived by the line outside, it goes quick! Theyre really good about getting orders going in advance, so you wont be waiting long. The broth here is better than most Ive tried. I could honestly eat this pho all day long! The pickled onions are absolutely worth getting.

They only serve beef Pho, so be advised. The service is good, but sometimes you may need to ask for extras twice. The broth is not quite hot enough, and could be served more generously. The meat quality is solid. Weekdays seem to be a better experience, compared the rush on weekends. Overall, good pho for the area.

Wow, delicious flavorful pho!! 😋🍜Rodeo 39 gets busy amd always a line for PhoHolic, but for a reason. Broth is flavorful amd even the noodles seem to be infused in the broth flavor. Definitely worth the wait. Beware... you can order to eat there (find seating inside or in the ample outdoor seating), you can order to go but there are 2 options, 1. To go home and boil your noodles and protein... or 2. To-go but eat there (sit somewhere else within the Rodeo 39 area). Make sure you tell them so they know how to pack your food otherwise you may end up with frozen meat and stiff noodles!Also ordered their new tea in Peach, good flavored tea!
Some of the better Pho places in Little Saigon area. Their portion is quite generous. Taste is pretty good. They have a variety of bowls for you to choose from. It’s located adjacent to Rodeo 39 PM. You can order food from other vendors & enjoy your Pho bowl in the outdoor patio space. Overall I would recommend this spot to anyone.

It was raining hard, windy, and cold when we got to Phoholic, the perfect reason to have a hot bowl of phở.We came here quite often and tried different kinds of phở, but usually ordered our favorite: tái chín bò viên (rare, well-done beef, and beef meatballs).We like the way rare beef is prepared, very tender. The broth this time was good, early mornings were usually good, but very often late afternoon and evening were either bland or salty (all good cooks know why...lol).Halfway thru our meal, we had to stop a server to let him know that we didnt get any drinks yet. He acted surprised, and asked to see our receipt before saying were preparing them, theyll be out soon... Were sure theyre being prepared, but did he know for whom and what table?!..lolWe wont talk much about food this time, as we like the consistency of phở served here, and the price is reasonable. We would recommend that you try PhoHolic, and bring out-of-town friends and relatives here too.We were very disappointed with the service this time, by one particular server, hence the 2 stars. This server was the first one to bring out the basic condiments: lime, beansprout, and basil.There were 5 of us and we were seated at an extended table, meant to seat any party from 5 to 10 guests. We all sit on one side of the table, so there would be extra seats for other customers.The young server (mentioned above) stood on the empty side of the table, he practically tossed the condiments plates on the table. Then with one hand he flicked these plates so that they slide across the table to us. Well, theres a problem with this, because there wasnt one table, there were 4 small tables connected to make a long one, and of course, there were uneven gaps between them. The first gap made all these small plates stop in front of one of us, piled up like a train wreck. To no surprise, the server just walked away, we can only guess that he didnt want to be there working on a rainy day. We wish he could have called out, or better yet quit if he was so unhappy.(We hope the paragraph below puts a smile on your face)...Or perhaps the server didnt get proper training from the management team? Or could it be the management team there could care less about customer service? Do we humor ourselves by trying to figure out what was the root cause of this behavior? Oh yeah, there was no other reason except that the server was lazy, it required him to walk about 3 steps to the other side of the table where we were sitting...lolWe will be returning to Phoholic soon, and hope service will be better.Please forgive our manners if we say we dont expect much when it comes to service at these Vietnamese restaurants. But please dont throw food/plates/drinks at customers, either directly or indirectly. Thats just disrespectful to all customers! Lets hope the server learns his lesson before he got served in the same manner he had served us that day.

The vast difference in rating between the two locations seems to run true with the lack of service at their Stanton location. I’m familiar with the standard Asian service so I wasn’t going to let it deter me from coming here as I would be saving an extra 20 minutes of traffic. Good GOD, we came on a weekday at around 11am. Tables were still free and they had plenty of staff for each table, the problem for me was the hostess. We walked through, asked for a table of two, and from there it was the start of just blunt barks on what to do and where we can and cannot sit.Order with her, pay for your food, and if you’re wanting to sit down inside- don’t. The servers are clumsy and they don’t have a single care for the dirty trolley they thrash around the aisles. The already fragrant soup that you’ll be excitedly wanting to slurp up will be mixed with the smell of garbage. Grab your number and sit outside.All bowls were $10 and their limited drink menu had their drinks priced at $4 - dated Sept.23.2021I went with my usual which turned to be the #14. The REALLY good part of the meal is their broth. It’s REALLY good. I do like my flank to be a lot more tender though so that wasn’t very enjoyable for me. Thai tea was standard, nothing special but definitely curbed the craving.Overall, it was a good bowl of pho, the broth was delicious and they gave you a good heaping of noodles and the accompaniments were all fresh. Service is probably my only deterrent from the place though tbh. There are WAY too many places around the area to deal with an establishment that makes it that much more difficult to enjoy dining out.
I go here several times a month, and I’m a huge fan of the food. This rating is for the service.We paid at the entrance and got seated at a small table that would only barely fit two bowls of pho, despite ordering an extra xí quách and some other extras. When the order came, we politely asked our server to move us to a nearby available bigger table. He made a face and asked us why we didn’t request it in the first place, and we’ve inconvenienced him. Then he did move us to the bigger table, but not without complaining loudly to the hostess at the front.I’ve worked in F&B, and I do realize that servers are underpaid and under a lot of stress and I go out of my way to be nice to food service, sometimes not even asking for what I want because I don’t want to be pushy. Funny that the one time I did ask, I got a lot of attitude and a mild panic attack. I found that this server’s attitude was uncalled for and unprofessional, and I’d apologize if I had done something wrong to him but I don’t think I did.I feel bad writing a review like this, despite there being others echoing the bad service sentiment, because the pho here is great. Had the server said nothing and just moved us, my review for this restaurant would never be any fewer than five stars. However, I’m sad to consider no longer supporting the business only because of this one bad experience.
Went with my daughter on Thanksgiving Day. Pho broth is pretty good, nice flavor not overly salted nor was it too plain but it was good. They serve some sort of steak and brisket soup in a small black bowl before you get your actual pho, which I was confused of having never had that at any other pho shop I’ve been to. It’s an appetizer of some sort I guess. I had ordered the #2 bowl as pictured here, plenty of meat and a good amount of noodles for a large bowl. There’s no soy sauce or fish sauce here, only the oyster sauce or hoisin sauce I couldn’t tell and then sriracha sauce along with black pepper for the soup. Like I said this place seems a bit different from the traditional pho shop, here you even pay for your food before you are seated. Me coming from the Bay Area, this is something completely new for me too. Overall the pho here is good, it’s not a bad place to go to at all. Customer service here isn’t really great, the young lady helping us up front wasn’t really friendly but as with a lot of Asian restaurants, service is hardly ever really friendly. So check this place out if you’re looking for pho, I don’t think you can go wrong here unless customer service is a very big deal to you.

A different Pho place where you will order and pay for your food with a host and then get a table. Due to this set-up, their service staff will only bring your food to your table and won’t check-in with you during your dining experience. Their Pho bowls are delicious and loaded with meat portions and vegetable toppings.
The original Phoholic is my favorite pho restaurant but the parking situation there is horrendous and there is ALWAYS a long wait. I was super happy a second location opens, granted the parking here is also bad. Ive eaten here twice and honestly Im underwhelmed. The first time I ate here I thought is was slightly bland. On my second time I enjoyed it way more, still not wowed though. Service is very transactional. I dont think I was greeted by anyone I interacted with, even though I said hi and thank you. I do love the outdoor seating option. Great ambiance for a cool evening. Im at Rodeo occasionally, I may come back to Phoholic but with so many great food options here I most likely wont. Ill take my chances at the OG location.

The 5 stars is for this pho place for its $12 bowl with plenty of protein. The way it works is a bit more like a food court where you pay ahead (plus tip), get a number and theyll bring the food to you. This plaza itself will only get 3 stars from me because the overrated Raising Cane took up all the spaces and traffic.

What the heck you do to that sliced tai meat to be so deliciously tender? I normally request extra fat for my soup but this was already perfect. The soup was definitely more on the beefy side rather than when some places try to hide the lack of meat by masking it with star anise.Vietnamese coffee really creamy not crazy sweet; no creamer fillers.All would be perfect but the bowls drained all the heat so before hitting midway the soup and noodles were cold and unappetizing. Everyone Im our party of 7 had the same experience so it wasnt just me.Something nice was the Host at the register gave extra raw sliced meat with a side bowl of piping hot broth. =)

Be prepared to wait in line. Ordering process is pretty quick so this helps with wait times. The pho is delicious and recommend to add the back Rib bone to your pho order. Restaurant is super busy and packed.
The best pho in town. I always go here every time I visit my family in OC. I used to go every day to the first location after it rebranded from pho Kimmy under a new owner. Be careful driving because the drivers here are really bad.
One of the top pho places around!What stood out to me was that the pho was sweet, not too herby, beefy, no msg flavor, in that order. Whats cool is the herby-ness of the broth is dictated by the herbs you put in.As for condiments, theres this marinated onion(in a diluted vinegar and fish sauce I think), a thai chili, basil, home made chili oil, jalapeno, bean sprouts and this more herbal lettuce thing. IMO, this makes PhoHolicThe beef was tender given that there was a lot of it. I dont know where this came from, but we had two extra small containers of beef in what tasted like a sweet mirin soy sauce. Which was nice and unexpected.The pho was incredibly good, I polished off the soup as my way if say compliments to the chef!The bill ended up being around $60 for 4 bowls of pho and a Thai tea. So thats around $13 a bowl? I didnt notice a price on the menu.Got there Saturday 11:45am with a line with maybe 12 parties ahead of us. Got seated in 15 minutes? It moves fast cause you order and pay before going in.This is at Rodeo 39... Despite a huge lot, good luck finding parking when this place is packed. Lunch time is fine, dinner time is when it gets pretty bad.
We have a party of 10 and we were very disappointed with their extremely poor service. we sit down for ten minutes got our food but didn’t get our water and the server just kept walking passed us and did not check on us. we asked for water and they just rolled their eyes and give us wired looks. the food was good but due to their extremely poor customer service i will not give them my business. I should recommend this place? No. there are many pho places in california with better service so no next time.

It tastes OK for 3.5☆, round up for 4☆ because they gave extra meat and vegetables. The broth was not cooked from bones. Recommended because one of the best tastes for price in orange county
The cashier didnt let me sit outside after standing in line for 5 mintues. Walked out and sent my wife back. She got sitting outside without any problem. Phở bowl and veggie plate looked good. However, the Phở didnt taste good at all. I could descibe in words. My guess is way too much MSG. Wont come back
Shop is bright, clean. Servers were actually pay attention to customer and replied quickly. Broth was flavorful without a lot of msg, plenty of tender meat and precise as ordered, tendons were tender and not mushy... Overall, a very good bowl of Pho. We also ordered a bowl of ox bone with meat but there was absolutely no meat at all on the bone ?!?
Very good pho in the city “BUT” it is one of the “WORST” customer service I’ve ever experienced. We have a party of ten and they did not serve us water neither refill our water. The servers only brought us our food and totally ignore us after that. It’s obvious that we didn’t get our water but the server just kept walking pass us and rolled his eyes and didn’t not respond to our request. Management needs to train all their employees regarding customers needs and expectations. It doesn’t matter how good their food is but due to their extremely poor customer service they don’t deserve my business.

4 rather than 5 just because of the service. I disagree with other reviews and think the food was just as good as the original but service was not as good. They definitely make you feel like your waisting their time or interrupting their day. Parking is way better than the original though.
Not as good as the first location! The service waiters/waitress seems like they were train to avoid making contact with the customers. The bowls of Pho came out lukewarm, we were served with boiled bean sprouts and asking for some fresh bean sprouts which never did arrive, eventhough we requested / reminding them twice. I would not come back to this new location.
Reasonably priced and very good tasting soup. Restaurant is clean unlike the original Phoholic location. One complain I have is the tendon is slightly too tough. If they cook the tendon another 30 minutes it would be perfect.
Great outdoor dining experience in the evenings if its not too crowded. Beautiful lanterns outside and a nice vibe. Food is delicious and quality is great for the price.
Good pho... The oxtail was slightly too tuff but not bad. Broth was flavorful but not the best I have had.... But dont get me wrong, the rare steak pho is probably top 3 including Little Saigon!

Visited PhoHolic twice to confirm table service. On the second and final visit on 8/18/2021, it is clear that customer service falls below expectations. If you want your drinks to be served five minutes before end of meal, then come here. During serving the basils plate, if you would like to ask for chili oil right before the staff member simply turns walks away while you are still trying to communicate then come to this place. Select what you would like to have, pay prior to seating at the door. Then all the disconnects happen between that point and when you get what is served. Their systematic flow design is a failure. Food taste can satisfy but not the best. So two stars for this broken serving style and terrible customer service.
The food is delicious, the prices so cheap, good service, I give them a big tips. Love to come back again. Very hard to find some restaurants in Little Saigon have good customers service.
Quality of pho changed sometimes. But its good overall. Depend what time you get in during the day of the week, its super good. Theres a lot of complaints about servers, but as I see with my eyes, theres a very nice lady who serve us in a very professional way, her names Phuong. Shes very helpful and nice to every customer. Keep going lady! Everywhere was competition in the job.

She look at me and walk away…Ha… I called her back and requested to cancel my order because I have been waiting on the cold weather outside …for 20 minutes. She refused to accept my cancellation …Finally, 09:20pm they brought to me “Togo Phở “ in plastic bag without any apology or sorry .The Noodle Bow is salty and mediocre.This service is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Food here is pretty good with big serving. However, service is terrible, but it was expected from other reviews on Yelp.Reason for 2 stars:1. Wait staff speaks minimal English2. Waiters not responsive to requests (Asked for water 4 times, never got it. Also, the waitress that we asked water from passed by us multiple times.)3. Had to remind for order for drinks they forgotI should never have given tips when I ordered. (Tips are only 0%, 15%, 25%)

From before Soup was a little bit sweet for me, however, Todays Soup was pretty sweet to me, it was not to my taste. And also, just my guess is that they soak sliced onions in liquid that was put vinegar and sugar. Sliced onions changed Soup too sour and sweet. Ordered take out, only to find out all the veggies and fixings were missing when I got home. They are all important parts of pho, cant really enjoy pho without them. Check your order before leaving the restaurant people.
Best pho in Orange County, CA I experience so far. We sit outside, it was windy and cool. Line are long but it moved fast in my opinion.
Delicious traditional vietnamese style pho (i say this because of the smell that comes from the pho that you usually never get from other pho places) much more authentic. Portions are kinda way oversized but you get what you pay for. Also they give kids free bowls of pho. Awesome!

This is their second location which is brand new and very nice looking. They have more seats as well both inside and outside. Their pho tastes the same as usual. I highly recommend this place to whoever seeking for authentic taste of pho.
I work in Rodeo 39 and the worker at Phoholic is rude as hell. Just save ur trouble of finding parking and rude workers and go to their other location on Buschard lol.
Omg the broth is sooo good. Best to go during the week when its not as crowded. If you want to introduce people to pho, this is where to bring them. If you want to impress someone that loves pho, this is where you bring them.

We opted to sit outside and there was plenty of seating. Our food came out really quick too. Also, thought the Thai iced tea was perfect. Would like to try more dishes.

But really, the pho is excellent, and the thing I was most surprised about is just how much meat they give. It was a generous amount, especially given that this is one of the least expensive pho spots in Orange County.The line outside to order does get long during peak times, but if you go during off-hours, the wait is minimal to none, and the service is super efficient. Food came out within minutes every time I visited this location.There are options to dine inside or outside. I prefer to sit outside in the fresh air, and with either option, theres plenty of seating to accommodate groups of all sizes.Its no surprise that for a place that specializes in only 1 dish, this place is the best. The pho is even better than what I got in Ho Chi Minh City last summer!

The employees handed out a brown sugar drink for people waiting in the line outside.It was pretty loud indoors with the amount of people. Would recommend sitting outside for more privacy and better speaking volume.Parking is usually bad at this plaza so would recommend street parking and walking after 11am for weekends.

The food is amazingly consistent. The pho bowels are filled with fantastic meats and noodles. We have all died and went to pho heaven.

I shared a bowl of Pho with a friend of mine and we were both full after the meal.Staff members are so lovely and attentive. They always asked if I needed anything else. The only thing I wasnt a huge fan of was how loud the music was. Despite that, I would still come here again.

2023-06-25 02:27:28Service was pretty good. There was a line to get in but it moves fast and plenty of seating inside. Lots of limes, pickled onions, rare for a pho place. Also free ice tea and hot tea if you ask. Portions were large. Have the option for regular or wide noodle. Lots of meat in the pho. I finished every bit of my bowl which is rare given how big the portions were. Didn’t get the oxtail but the oxtail is the size of your head. Broth was good definitely from real bones. Communal seating and self serve options featured smaller bowls for kids and sauce cups and utensils.

Came around 5:00PM and there were plenty of tables.This place takes your order at the register first, where you pay for everything first before sitting down at a table.The food tastes the same as the original place, which is a good thing, but they messed up our order. One bowl has small, thin noodles, while two had the flat, thin noodles, but they switched it around, which isnt that big of a deal.Overall, not bad. Same taste and flavor, but also seems more expensive.

2023-12-03 09:38:02I enjoyed the Pho the first time! It is nice to be able to sit outside. I started to recommend and bring friends to the place. However, the next few times were pretty disappointing. The soup was not hot enough and we were given the wrong kind of noodle. We didnt ask for the flat noodle. Make sure you get the right kind of noodle. We have to drive about an hour to come to this place. I am not sure if it is worth it anymore.
