I just discovered Pieology, and I like it so much that I’ve eaten there three times in a week. I don’t tolerate milk products well, so I was happy to find out that they offer vegan cheese as an alternative. I was able to enjoy pizza for the first time in years, and it was mighty tasty.

Absolutely terrible experience. The order was wrong twice, the wings finally came out burnt after the 3rd try after we had already finished our meal, the pizza was burnt on the edges, and the staffs attitude was completely $#!T. I dont normally write negative reviews but this place is on my list to never visit again unfortunately.

The pizza here is great. You can get as much toppings as you want with the build-your-own-pizza. The pizza does not come out with loads of grease like you would get at other pizza chains. And the pizza is great value for your money. The employees at this location are friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Worst pizza I ever had in my life. They just put some bell peppers, jalapeños and onions. There was barely any cheese. Taste was not even worth a penny. I don’t recommend this place to order a pizza.

I have 2 locations that I patronize. I have food allergies so I order the custom crust and use the ingredients that I can use. At both locations the crust are always well done to burnt and the staff say it’s because it’s a special crust it cooks faster but if they don’t leave in oven the pizza won’t be done or center gooey? You’ve also changed ingredients in the tomatoes sauce were it is now lacking flavor! I have comeback due to not many pizza places provide the crust option or dairy free cheese, but if food quality doesn’t improve I may have to drive to further location to indulge!

Had a pizza delivered from them and it was decent. I do like that they offer dairy free cheese alternatives for pizza, its pretty rare to see that in most fast food chain restaurants! Made a custom personal pizza with dairy free cheese, spinach, mushrooms, pesto, chicken.. and I dont remember what else but it was fine. Crust was a bit hard after a while but not something that will make me go ick.

Decided to give Pieology a try after seeing mostly good reviews. Nothing too special, to be honest. We got the meat Specialty pizza and the alfredo bacon chicken (ABC) pizza, out of which the meat pizza was better. We got both pizzas in the original thin crust aka practically no crust, and not much flavor.The ABC pizza which we had high hopes for was the most disappointing- it was dry and we barely tasted any alfredo in it.Overall, dinner was satisfactory but dont think this place is going to get a second try from us.

Sunday July 30th at 12:20 we walked in and there was one person at the front. She said it would be a few minutes so we waited. We continued to wait while she proceeded making pizzas and then another person came up to help at the counter which began helping the gal instead of helping us. We have been in several times and know the flow and instead of the gal moving the pizza through the process they were both putting veggies on the pizzas while we continued waiting. After 10 minutes we decided to leave. Horrible service today!

Nothing to write home about.ConsI was excited about the wings and tater tots at this location, but they were out of tots and the wings were kind of like I cooked a bag of frozen Costco nuggets at home.I thought they had build your own salad like they do at competitors like MOD pizza, but instead it was just a few pre packaged salads that looked and tasted a few days old.ProsIt was a clean store and the staff were very friendly. The bread stick pizza thing was really good.

I was greatly disappointed with my experience here. The crust was super thin and dry and didnt feel freshly rolled out. I came at 630 pm but they ran out of spinach, mushrooms, and basil. The person making my pizza was really rude and condescending when I asked for some oil on top. It was uncomfortable having to interact with her the whole time to just get my pizza. I asked for here but they gave our pizzas in a box...and the trash doesnt even have a place to throw away the box at the end so it was annoying.

Didnt have the best first time experience.I tried to order online for pick-up and my order didnt go through. Walked in to order, friendly staff making the pizzas, fresh ingredients, but my pizza needed more time in the oven. The cheese was barely melted, the crust was soggy, but the fresh spinach was dried out.I was hoping to get a salad, but they were all pre-made. I asked about one without avocado & olives, but there wasnt any alternatives offered or suggested.

Not a very clean restaurant. Soda machine had ice overflowing in the bin & soda syrup splattered all over the dispenser area. The floor and dining area, especially the tables (customers should not have to wipe the table off before using )was in bad need of attention. GROSS! The dining area is used as the storage closet.

This was my first time at Pieology. I ordered a Chicken Alfredo pizza and while she was making it she put onions. I asked her to fix it and she had an attitude like it was my fault, picking them off. I then had to remind her to put on the mushrooms. Once cooked I still found several onions. The other two employees were kind, courteous, and efficient.

Went to the Pieology on Elk Grove Blvd 2 days ago and they sucked! The young guy that made my pizzas hardly put anything on them. Skimpy everything. Asked for regular crust, got thin. $35+ for 3 shtty personal pizzas. Wont ever go back to that store. I will go to the one at Delta Shores. They were very good the last time I was there. This place never again.

My first time here. I wanted the fiery buffalo chicken and told them but they just kept asking me what I wanted on my pizza that I ended up just building my own pizza. Fast and clean. Everyone wore a mask. The pizza was perfectly cooked. I liked that they had to go boxes ready for customers to grab without having to ask an employee for them.

I didn’t have the best experience at this location. I saw one of the employees touching the meat, then he went over and started touching the vegetables without changing gloves. I was being helped by another employee so I didn’t get to say anything but I wish I would have pointed out he was cross contaminating especially since this is suppose to be a vegan friendly restaurant. Then after I already paid, they said they needed recharge me since they forgot to charge me for a pizza?

Pieology is a great place to get a pizza with reasonable prices. They offer a wide variety of toppings which seemed daunting at first but a worker named Eduardo made it easier to understand what combinations work and dont work. He gave me recommendations that were different from any other pizza Ive had while being quite tasty. The normal crust is pretty thin for my liking but theres no denying the quality in the taste. Definitely a great place to get a pizza when you want to really go all out on flavor and customaztion.

You know how the saying goes.....good help is hard to find. Not here though! I experienced ridiculously amazing customer service provided by Ramses today. I appreciated his ability to be conversational and personable. I admired how mindful he was about cooking times. He put one pizza in ahead of time before he finished creating the second pizza. He offered water while I waited and asked me If I needed anything else.The bathrooms are very clean and every one here is consistently friendly and hard working.

Im sorry but this is the dirtiest Pieology I have ever been to. I dont think I can recommend eating here unless things get cleaned up. There was trash under the cabinets- paper, napkins, receipts, dust, oil, etc. It was disgusting where they were making our food... the counters looked like they werent being cleaned often either. The register counters looked like a mess as if they just placed random steel containers of napkins and utensils.Im adding two stars just because the workers were friendly and were working hard... other than that, I would have just given it 0 stars.It lacked management.

It looks like they specialize in personal pizzas. They put your pizza together in front of you, in a similar way to how popular sandwich shops put sandwiches together in front of you, along an assembly line. The experience was more interesting than a typical pizzaria. The pizza is tasty. Even though the pizzas are personalized, I think they are big enough for two people to share one. There are also a few surprises on the menu, compared to other pizzerias.

Disappointing tonight as we attempted to get a pizza with fresh red sauce, due to the fact the current container had tons of loose cheese in it, and my wife is allergic to cheese. We’ve done this several times before and had no issues. Tonight we were met with news that they didn’t have any other red sauce available and we could “get a salad?” That’s definitely not the same thing. You only have one container of red sauce in the entire building? That’s going to make for a tough week fulfilling orders. Needless to say we left.

On a Friday evening, I expect a pizza place to be busy. So I dont get upset for waiting. I get upset when I check in with the to-go person, was told my order was in the oven, then had to wait for 30 minutes. After 30, I told the same person the name on my order, and she got the pizza out of the warmer where it had been for 15 minutes. As a delivery driver, time is money. That employee literally took money out of my pocket because she couldnt keep the orders straight. Ridiculous.

I had a bad experience at this pieology location on Halloween day. There was an email sent to my inbox for a Halloween promotion deal. I went to a pieology to get in on the deal. At the checkout, I show the email from pieology for the promotion. The store manager did not honored the promotion and that was that. I was so disappointed and not happy. First time ever that this happened as every place that has a promotion, they have always honored it. I will not come back to this location or even pieology again. MOD pizza is the same but at least they have always honored their promotion deals.

Worst experience ever. From July 18, 2021, evening manager does not have any manners to talk. They gave us food and after 10 mins an employee who called himself manager came us and told us the restaurant is closed. We told him ok, we will finish the food and leave as soon as possible. But he started giving us attitude and told us to leave. I don’t know what he was trying to show by lowering his pants down and showing off his underwear. He was trying to be a gangster or some. When we told him to leave and let us finish the dinner. He went in and came back with his pants off, just in his shorts. With all due respect I think Pieology should fire these types of employees. If they can’t let customers finish the food, store can simply say that dining room is closed, food is to go only….

Experineced HORRIBLE customer service here. I was Not greeted walking inside or leaving. The 2 young ladies working, ignored me for a good 3 mins while they continued what they were doing behind the counter (one pressing dough, the other filling toppings) not busy with orders or anything. I was the only customer in line. After standing and waiting, I realized my order was in the warmer so I asked if I can grab it myself since they were too busy. Finally the girl comes over, she did not say anything to me! She grabbed the pizza and I told her I wanted to buy a drink, she proceeded and still did not talk to me. Not an apology for the wait, not a thank you, nothing! The other girl continued what she was doing as if I never walked passed her. And to make things worse, my pizza was made incorrectly and was not cooked right! In all the years of eating at PIEOLOGY I have never felt so unwelcome with a jacked up pizza. I will drive to downtown Sacramento 16th street before I ever go to this location again, and I live in Elk Grove.

Be careful if you have a service animal and you don’t have your gear. They won’t allow you to stay indoors. The manager helped us outdoors. But if you can’t sit outside I’d avoid it. It was a very uncomfortable experience especially when the manager started to raise their voice saying hair will get on the ingredients. They need more training on ADA law as my dog is my medical alert animal. My disability is not visible.

This place is trash. Manager is either inexperienced or doesnt know their products. Employees are poorly trained if even trained at all. Service is super slow, even when the store is empty, and come on guys, the laminated chest cards are for the employee, not the customers. And with covid, youre handing them out and not sanitizing them between customers, and youre touching the cards with the same gloves youre making the food with. Speaking of gloves, you really should be changing them between pizzas. What if someone has an allergy to something you put on the previous pizza? The store is relatively new but right now, Ill drive the extra miles to go to the one in Delta Shores.
