So good. Food came fast. Friendly server. Everything tasted fresh. The pork cuts in my ramen bowl were delicious like no pork Ive ever had before. I had the coconut ramen with Level 1 spiciness and that was perfect for me. Also had a delicious ahi poke bowl. Absolutely nothing to complain about, I finished everything. I never write reviews but I felt compelled by this great meal.

This is the spot if ur looking for authentic Ramen, its a small little mom and pop shop with only 4 tables but cause its hidden away it’s popular to the locals in the area, the noodles are perfect and the Tonkatsu broth is amazing and rich in flavor. This is my go to spot, nothing can come close 😊

Decided to try this place based on a Google search and the reviews the day after Beachlife Festival and we were not disappointed! The chashu buns were on point and the ramen was probably the best ramen I’ve had in recent years! The service was outstanding; very attentive and they were on top of it. We were out of tea: refilled in a minute. Food came out fast too. I had the tonkotsu ramen, spicy level 3, adding a seasoned egg. It’s a tiny little place attached to the cleaners by a Smart and Final. I highly recommend: Find it!

This place was fantastic! Its a hole in the wall and we actually drove past it while looking for it. The place is authentic. Everyone is Japanese and very friendly. Its got a nice homey feel. The food isnt over flavored like the fake-o places. It was delicious. The broth is a little on the heavy side bHomosassa drank all of mine. My kids all insisted on the desserts which we also liked very much. This restaurant is a little hidden gem.

Pleasantly surprised by this hole in the wall noodle spot. Found it by sheer coincidence as my wife was craving noodles on our way home from the beach. The noodles are similar to Hakata ramen and the broth and pork flavor is just right, not over powering the spice. Loved it! Highly recommend it.

The all Japanese crew is reminiscent of my ramen shop experience in Japan, simple dining experience but their true focus is serving the best ramen product--I got the 14oz tsukemen. 🥰With only 4 tables inside and 2 tables outside, its really a cozy Japanese ramen shop--typical size of similar restaurants in Japan.I would definitely eat here again!!! Don’t come to this place. I have no idea why the rating for this restaurant is so high, since the actual experience was nothing like the reviews. The broth of the ramen was extremely salty; the meat as well. The noodles aren’t authentic ramen noodles and the chicken was stiff. And it’s not like it’s an aesthetic spot; the environment was terrible. The tables had sticky residue coated over them which literally stuck to your skin as you ate?? On top of that, the pricing was ridiculous. Each bowl of ramen costed close to twenty dollars. No one in our party finished their meal and we regret eating there.

This is by far, one of the Best ramen we ever had in town!A very rich and tasty broth, wich gives a wonderful flavor to the noodles and pork meat.We found this little place by coincidence and had a very pleasant surprise, all prices a very reasonable considering the quality of food you receive. They have Kids menu with 2 options, and have has few as 4 tables inside and one on the outside, but they do take outs too. There is pleny space for parking.Definitely Will come back.

Small Japanese Restaurant located next to a dry cleaner, near Smart and Final. Open for Lunch, then reopens for Dinner.The food is reasonably priced, and very good. The Ramen is delicious and the service was prompt.There is parking reserved specifically for the Ramen Shack. Indoor and Outdoor seating available. Since its a small restaurant they dont seem terribly busy, which made it a nice place to have ramen quietly.The menu is diverse. Offering Tonkotsu and Shoyu ramen, in salt, soy sauce, and spicy broths. The spicier Ramen has a small additional charge. They have appetizers, curry, salads, French fries, and more!Definitely recommend eating here if youre at Redondo Beach and want some Ramen.

This is some of the best ramen you can get in the South Bay in my opinion. I ordered the Tonkotsu Spicy with a seasoned egg, and was very happy. The staff was friendly and attentive. Service was fast.

Tiny place but serves good Ramen. Ramen Shack has three bases: chicken, pork, and vegan. I tried the chicken-base and the pork base. In my opinion, the chicken based ramen was better but the pork held its own. You could also select the level of spicy. Unless you like having your mouth on fire, I suggest no higher than level 3. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Will be back!

Got my food delivered. Sadly, they packaged the ramen and tuna bowl in the same bag so by the time it got delivered to me just a few blocks away the tuna bowl had gotten so warm the tuna was partly cooked, stringy and very chewy.The ramen was very delicious and flavorful. If you get delivery or order pickup I would skip the ahi tuna bowl and just get ramen.

AMAZING. so many options for a small place, reasonably priced considering the portion size, large parking area.cons: was a bit hard to find in the parking lot, got there almost at closing and they were out of chashu... total bummer, decor looks like youre going to have bbq but who cares?

Amazing Ramen in Redondo. So far Ive tried the Black, Garlic and Coconut Ramen bowls. All amazing. The pork is fatty, but its thin-sliced and oh so good as it melts in your mouth. Its practically a garnish if youre from Texas or Australia. 😀 The broth was amazing. Its perfectly balanced in flavor, very smooth. Filling, but not too heavy. You can get add-ons, like fried mochi, egg or even extra spicy. This time I got cabbage and it was steamed to perfection. How can it get better than this? This may be the best restaurant Ive eaten at in LA for its price, flavor, humbleness and location (near the beach). Wow. Amazing South Bay gem. Top notch equal with even the best street food Ive eaten in Asia. Thanks again.

I ordered Chicken broth based Ramen to go. I wanted the pork to be substituted by chicken. They gladly said they could with a couple of pieces of Karaage. I got the level 4 spicy. The packaging was good and the bowl is large enough to accommodate all the broth so I did not have to use another bowl for that. Noodles were light and the toppings were fresh and tasty. it was about $14 and I would highly recommend this.

Very local place with delicious ramen! I got the sansai vegetarian ramen and that one has a savory spring-oniony broth. Thinner than miso but way more flavorful. My husband got the miso ramen, which was good too, but pales in comparison to the sansai one. Sansai is root vegetables, which comes in the ramen.The location is random. We came about this place while mapping out a place to buy water.Japanese staff is friendly and unpretentious.Prices are a bit high. But I suppose relatively normal in the South Bay. After living in Japan, I find it a little ridiculous to pay $13 for noodles and broth. But I would pay it for good ramen! And this was pretty good.

Been here several times now. The bowls of Ramen arent super big, but they are super tasty and rather filling! Fresh and tasty each time Ive been, and fair price. Recommended for sure. Not all that big inside so maybe call ahead for more than 4 in a group to save disappointment. Try it, its awesome :)

We had a great lunch here, good ramen at fair prices. I ordered the JIro ramen (Tokyo style) which comes with a lot of bean sprouts and 10 pieces of char siu. My wife ordered the Tonkatsu spicy level 2, they have 5 levels of spiceiness. Level 2 is spicy for those who dont care for too much heat, they should choose a level 1. Level 3 and up are very spicy, so choose wisely. There are many options for the broth like black or white and miso or salt base, so check out the menu.There is also an option to upgrade to a combo with your ramen for a small charge. You can add a couple of sides to the order like gyozu or karage and a salad or char siu fried rice. The bowl of ramen itself is a good meal alone. If you have a big appetite, or crave an extra side dish these are great options as well.Give ramen shack a try, you will not be disappointed.

This is one of our favorite local spots. The food is good, fast, and the service is friendly. It is a bit on the small side, so getting a seat can be tough. However, the prices are competitive, and it is definitely worth checking out. The menu is simple; it is mostly ramen with your choice of broth and topping. There is an equally simple kids menu as well. Enjoy!

The chashu is melt-in-your mouth delicious, and the noodles the perfect texture. I had the spicy tonkatsu, but felt like something was missing in the flavor of the soup. Perhaps I will try another flavor next time. Service was friendly, but a little slow. The staff were fielding several takeout orders, which may have contributed.

The ramen here is super tasty. The spicy tonkatsu broth is absolutely delicious, and the char siu melts in your mouth. The chicken katsu is tasty and juicy on the inside, with a nice crunch on the outside. This place actually a new fave. There isnt much seating outside, 2 tables outside because of the current Covid restrictions, so takeout might be the better option.

My experience with the service was good, but the ramen was great. I ordered the Spicy Miso with extra pork. The broth was in between creamy & thin but was full of flavor. Also for level 2 spicy it wasnt spicy at all, next time Ill try level 4. The porks qaulity was amazing & very juicy. The noodles are a little thick but it wasnt a negative. The only issue I had was the excesses cabbage. But other than that I wish they had a chicken option instead of only pork.

Hands down best ramen Ive ever tried. Ive tried a few ramen places and didnt feel like I got ramen until I tried it here.We are living Las Vegas and every time we go there!The ramen broth was very creamy, but most importantly it was thoroughly emulsified and didnt taste oily even though it was very rich. The noodles had a good texture.The space was not big, but comfortable. The service was really good also.this place is highly recommend!

This little hole in the wall ramen place is so good!!! Its as close to authentic ramen as you can get. I love the Ramen Shack ramen, spicy level 2. Just spicy enough to tingle the nose, but you can taste all the flavors. Their gyozas are really yummy. Wish I had a bigger stomach to eat everything here at once since we dont live here and arent down very often. Love coming here and one of our go to places when were here. Just be warned that it is quite small with about 6 tables and popular by locals who work near by.

Hidden gem. Small hole in the wall kind of venue (concrete floor with only a handful of small tables), big portions, Huge flavors. (Located in rear of parking lot south of Smart&Final... for locals: where Nancys used to be.) I stopped by to pick up some lunch after the gym. Yuka (owner) greeted me with a friendly smile like we were old friends.As I hadnt eaten there before, I had a bunch of questions about items on the menu & ingredients. She did not put me off, but cheerfully answered each question, explained the portion sizes and suggested various items based on my queries.So, I ordered a bowl of Vegetarian Miso Ramen. Ill tell you up front, I was not disappointed. The broth was rich, warm & flavorful; the wheat flour noodles were plentiful & perfectly cooked; the bowl contained 3 healthy slabs of tofu along with fresh bean sprouts & a variety of appropriate vegetables.In the end, my only disappointment was that I couldnt eat another bite by the time I finished with my ramen bowl (> 1 quart)... I was stuffed & throughly happy. I will definitely be back... Great value for the dollar. $$

The soup and ingredients are delicious, and I come here whenever I miss Japanese ramen.You may get lost because the shop is in a slightly secluded place, but it seems that you wont get angry even if you park at the supermarket around the shop.After all, not many people spend an hour at a ramen shop. smile
