Miyoda Restaurant
1220 Beryl St, Redondo Beach, CA 90277, United States
This is a no nonsense, no fusion Japanese eatery. Not a fan of their beef dishes - they dont char it like other Japanese restaurants where you get that tender, charred beef. But I do like their sushi and bento boxes.

Gardena Japanese Restaurant
Japonica Redondo Beach

Cool little Japanese restaurant! The craft soy sauce is delightful, tons of choice for sake, and great sushi. The truffle salmon sushi is particularly good. Really friendly staff as well!
Ramen Shack Takumiya
1550 S Pacific Coast Hwy #A, Redondo Beach, CA 90277, United States
Small Japanese Restaurant located next to a dry cleaner, near Smart and Final. Open for Lunch, then reopens for Dinner. The food is reasonably priced, and very good. The Ramen is delicious and the service was prompt. There is parking reserved specifically for the Ramen Shack. Indoor and Outdoor seating available. Since its a small restaurant they dont seem terribly busy, which made it a nice place to have ramen quietly. The menu is diverse. Offering Tonkotsu and Shoyu ramen, in salt, soy sauce, and spicy broths. The spicier Ramen has a small additional charge. They have appetizers, curry, salads, French fries, and more!Definitely recommend eating here if youre at Redondo Beach and want some Ramen.
Spoon House Bakery and Restaurant
1601 W Redondo Beach Blvd, Gardena, CA 90247, United States
When you think of a Japanese restaurant, you would automatically think ramen. Not this restaurant! Spoon House Bakery & Restaurant is a small family owned restaurant that serves Japanese inspired pasta.Their pastas are very affordable and have a great selection to choose from. They provide you complimentary bread from their bakery with your meal. If you want a salad to go along with your meal, you can order the side salad for $1.The only problem with this restaurant is that it is very small so it takes time to get seated if there are people waiting for a table especially on the weekends.
Taishi Hainan Chicken
1000 Torrance Blvd ste b, Redondo Beach, CA 90277, United States
So glad I finally found a great hainese chicken place near my area! The best part is that it is also a thai chinese hainese chicken place, and it honestly makes me so happy since I grew up eating chicken over rice thai style most of my life. Their menu is limited but honestly it helps when youre not the best at narrowing down your options. I decided to get the fried chicken plate along with the free herbal chicken soup for checking in #protip. I have to say I enjoyed every bite from the soothing soup to the garlicky rice to the moist tender chicken to the flavorful sauces! They have amazing variety in their sauces but my favorite was definitely the classic thai hainese sauce. There wasnt anything that I didnt enjoy about the dish. It was definitely one of the best hainese chicken dishes I have had and is on par with my moms own hainese chicken.! Service !The service was super fast and prompt, and we were quickly greeted immediately as soon as we walked through the door. The person who took our order was especially nice, since he accomadated my order of extra garlic in my rice and additional sauces.!Price Point!Initially I thought the price was a bit on the expensive side for $13, but was I wrong! The portions were big enough for at least 2 people with heaps of chicken. The only downside was the rice to chicken ratio since there was sooo much chicken.!Ambiance!A great place to grab a quick sit down bite. Its set up where you order and pick up your food, similar to that of a food court.!TLDR!Definitely an amazing place to come grab delicious thai style hainese chicken. The service was great, the food was amazing, what more can you ask for.
Flyin Fin Sushi and Seafood
1727 S Catalina Ave, Redondo Beach, CA 90277, United States
Ordered delivery through DoorDash. Estimated time was about 1 hour but it came 15 minutes early! Everything was packaged nicely & securely. One pleasant surprise was that upon opening the containers, all sushi rolls had their sauces in individual containers. Our order- You could tell all ingredients were fresh & high quality. Munchy Crunch & King Cobra rolls were exactly as expected & tasty. California roll would have been on par but the added sesame seeds gave it an unnecessary nuttiness. Geisha Gone Wild roll was way spicier than anticipated. Im pretty sure it was due to the sauce. It was actually ordered with the thought that the mangos sweetness would balance the jalapenos spicy but instead the spicy overwhelmed & the mango was no where to be found. 100 Degree roll was tasty. Its description came off as super spicy but it was surprisingly less spicy than the Geisha Gone Wild; unless you smothered it in its accompanying sauce. Seaweed Salad was more vinegary than sweet. Octopus sashimi was perfectly tender & super fresh with just the right chewiness. The only issue was the attending lemon slice. The couple of octopus slices that laid on top completely soaked up the lemon flavor. This is probably due to shifting during delivery & would not be an issue during dining in.
Crazy RockN Sushi - Gardena
1546 W Redondo Beach Blvd, Gardena, CA 90247, United States
A casual and friendly Japanese restaurant. Enjoy the regular sushi rolls of your choice or have a tasty bento box with grilled salmon, sea weed salad and a cold Corona beer. During happy hour they are surprisingly affordable.
King Plus Shabu Shabu
903 N Catalina Ave #100, Redondo Beach, CA 90277, United States
Kings shabu shabu is a Japanese hotpot place that serves high quality meats cooked in a delicious broth. I have tried the tonkotsu and spicy miso broth, the tonkotsu is light on umami and has a milk like creaminess, a tonkotsu broth that you could completely gulp down. The spicy miso was savory, packed with flavor and intermediately spicy. It did not allow you to stop cooking your meat and ingredients in it. My friend says the beef was really good!, and the glass noodles were a nice addition as well. With every hotpot youre given a bowl of with a variety of veggies, a choice of glass or udon noodle, and white rice or brown rice. I also enjoyed the service as it was attentive and respectful. Overall I enjoyed my experience at Kings Shabu Shabu, and if I am looking for a more premium hotpot place, I would visit again.
369 Ramen & Poke & Sushi
United States, California, Redondo Beach, Inglewood Ave, 邮政编码: 90278
Came here a few times and each time was disappointed. This time, my girlfriend and I both wanted Bento boxes. We were greeted with a rude cashier who gave a condescending know-it-all attitude to all of my girlfriends questions. It was her first time there. This time We both ordered bento boxes, mine extra beef and sushi and hers was chicken. The beef bento box was VERY thick barley chewable, like a jaw workout (not my type) but the Cali sushi rolls were great. They forgot my extra beef. My girlfriends order was wrong as they threw spicy sauce on top of the chicken after she asked not to because she is allergic. The wait was super long even though we were the only ones there and the food we paid was very over priced for the texture/taste. Not sure why the rating is so high.TLDR: They get orders wrong and the food is mid. Overpriced with long wait even though no one was in line. You get what you pay for I guess. Rude customer service. Sushi is great though.
