Great place, great food! The first time I went there it was to dine in and had an awesome experience. The second time was to go. Its the kind of place that anything you get will taste good, no matter what you order. Very flavorful. All nicely packaged. Will be back many more times.

SO DISAPPOINTEDContext:I drove an hour last night to treat myself to my favorite Ramen spot. I ordered one meal to dine in and a duplicate to go. Food was good and service (or so I thought) was good. And yes, I tipped 25% of the bills total.So ive just sat down for dinner and this was inside. Yes, I also understand that mistakes happen.....BUTThere was only ONE other table that was still dinning when I left??Wh?? So. Disgusted.

Delicious. Amazing ramen. They have great flavor. And the decor is just the cherry on top. It’s very clean and the staff are very welcoming. A lot of people tend to struggle with customer service but not her. These guys are legit and are constantly checking up on us. Prices are definitely fair and I’m just glad we’ve found a tasty spot so close to the house. Can’t wait to go back. Just writing this review made my mouth water lol 😂.

The spicy konkotsu with pork belly was sooooo flavorful. Noodles were on point along with the boiled egg. Might have to ask for extra extra spicy next time. Mark was an excellent waiter. Checked on us multiple times. Great atmosphere, great customer service and overall awesome ramen spot. Will be coming back.

Delicious ramen and fantastic service. Ive become obsessed with ramen as of late, but havent found a place that really has impressed me; until today. Ive been hearing about RamenKoKo since we moved to Highland about a year ago and finally followed up to the claims today. The place is a small, inviting restaurant with only a handful of tables and mostly American movie posters from Japan lining the walls. Its charming and the staff greeted us immediately. The menu is small and easy to figure out, which is great for me as im still new to japanese food, but is full of intriguing dishes and appetizers. We orders edamame and gyoza to start. The gyoza was perfectly cooked and didnt disappoint and the edamame came coated in a garlic chili paste that was so good I could eat it by itself with a spoon. My wife got a garlic pork rice bowl and I ordered the spicy tonkatsu ramen. I love pork and have been wanting to try real tonkatsu ramen since learning about it last year (thanks to Mike Chen on YouTube) I also ordered some miso broth as I have never had it and really wanted to try it. The rice bowl was good, slightly sweet and the pork was great. The miso broth impressed me and was super salty and delicious. The star of the show was my tonkatsu ramen. The broth is so rich and flavorful and is only improved when you add the chili paste to the broth. The pork belly on top was crazy good and once you dive into this dish you dont want to stop until your sniffling and full. The spice level was perfect and I truly cannot describe how tasty the broth is. I tried the thin noodles and they were good, but they have other options and Ill be trying those next time. I cant forget about the service and staff too. They were all so polite and attentive and helpful that it makes you appreciate the people who take their jobs seriously and provide that kind of service. Overall, great experience with fantastic food and service. I cannot wait to go back and eat through the rest of their menu!

My sis and I usually drive out to grand terrace for Ramen but this place was just as delicious as our other spot 🔥 placed a pick up order and it was ready in 10min!!!! Now thats customer service 💯. We ordered the miso ramen, gyozas, and fried calamari 🐙 and it was SOOOO DELICIOUS 😋🤤 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Tofu spicy ramen is pretty good. The tofus are fried, so they taste like stinky tofu in China without stinky smell. In the beginning they are crispy outside and soft inside. But since they are in the ramen soup, they become soft very soon. I should ask them to separate tofu from ramen. Fried chicken is good, but I don’t like their calamari.

Let me start off by saying that my order was a delivery order, and Im sure it wouldve been even better in person. That being said I ordered my favorite, a tonkotsu ramen with soft boiled egg. It was delicious to say the least, and the quality of the food was amazing. Ill definitely be coming back here again regularly, because I LOVE ramen!!

Best Ramen in the i.e and probably even the San Gabriel Valley. Without question. Superior, robust ramen soup base with rich flavors. High quality noodles, excellent meat quality, including some of the best Karaage I’ve ever had. Cozy, clean atmosphere that belies it’s location in San Bernardino/Highland area. And most importantly, the service is PHENOMENAL WITH A CAPITAL PH’. Never had bad service in this location even when they’re at their absolute busiest. Great staff superior quality ingredients that have me question EVERY SINGLE RAMEN spot I’ve been to from Riverside to Santa Monica. There is almost no ramen that checks all of these boxes. And the price? Doesn’t even make sense. This is a diamond in the crown of Ramen Noodle houses and being in San Bernardino is both a blessing a curse. I love this place!

A little place that is worth 5 stars! The service was wonderful, the menu had various options but very clear, and the ramen itself was right on.The broth was savory but not too salty (unlike other Ramen restaurants that make their broth way too strong). The half boiled egg was so delicious with the egg white being surprisingly marinated.I also like how they offered noodle and protein options (also vegetarian friendly) that you can have something like spinach noodle.

This is my favorite ramen place in socal. The Tokyo tonkotsu is amazing. A nice amount of spice and the pork is really tender and flavorful. I’ve had ramen in OC that is twice as expensive and doesn’t taste half as good. I always recommend this place to family and friends. Highly recommended!

Holy Wow! I drive from Moval To Highland hoping it wasnt just wasting gas. I had a special Their Tokyo Tankatsu Ramen. The broth was garlicky and spicy and meaty all at once. Their noodles are just the right thickness. Finally the egg. How a ramen place repairs their eggs shows you how much detail they put into their product. This egg had a perfectly gelatinous center through and through. Worth the drive, worth your time. Thanks to the staff for being friendly and the cooks for being legit.

Some of the best ramen I’ve had in the IE hands down . I had black truffle ramen which was really good and had a great flavor profile . The service was great and the staff was super attentive. The overall vibe of the restaurant was really inviting and warm . Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for good ramen in the IE which can be kind of hard to come by out here .

Delicious ramen. Found while i was in redlands ca for the day and decided to order for takeout. The spicy tonkotsu ramen was delicious. The broth was spicy but not on the mouth. I really felt the spice in my throat more than anything. Im not a fan of seaweed but it blended very nicely with the broth. The pork was tender and the egg gave it a nice flavor as well as the sprouts. Will come back again 🥰

At 72, I only discovered Ramen 3 years ago in Long Beach. I was very spoiled. I moved here and then Covid happened. I was delighted to find a Ramen place yesterday!!! Only 10 minutes away. Amazing ramen place! What stood out the most was a keen eye to customer service, kindness and initiative. Everyone there was very helpful and friendly and gave us time to review the menu and answer questions we had. Wide selection of toppings and choices of side dishes that were of excellent quality. We liked the Gyoza that we ordered with our Ramen. I especially liked their spinach noodles, which were green and slimmer and tasted like your regular noodles but with a different touch and I liked their Ramune Japanese sodas. Seating outside was limited, but they were very hospitable to add an extra table and chair with little asking. My friend arrived later to join us, but had to wait because of new broth being brewed. The fact that they had to change their broths every so often during the day tells me they value good and clean tasting broth. The restaurant inside was also tidy and authentic looking. We will be coming back!

IMO the best ramen in this part of the Inland Empire (ie San Bernardino/Riverside). You wont find anything comparable until you head far west enough to hit the Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga area. Good vegetarian option too. I recommend getting some of the spicy paste, its great. I believe this place is actually run by a Japanese family, adding to the authenticity of it. It isnt a very large place, so expect to wait for a table during peak hours. Not the best place for large groups.

Went here because the ramen place I planed on was marked as permanently closed. This place is a joke. The waitress wouldnt stop spraying excess chemicals on tables near us. The food is below par in ways I cannot even begin to explain. Frozen chicken. Corn from a can. 5 goyza for 6$ and fresh FRON THE FREEZER. this was horrible. I asked for mild and it was so spicy I had to swap broth with someone at my table. The bowls arent warmed and the veggie broth tastes just like top ramen veggie flavor. Save your money and spend 4$ on top ramen and sprouts.... 2.5$ for a mediocre green tea bag........... this is the first time in 10 years I havent left a tip.... garbage!

Me and my boyfriend went here yesterday for date it is quite small and busy so sometimes seating isn’t available we were lucky a table was open the waiters were all super friendly and patient they have great customer service or food came out quick the Calamari was a little dark but didn’t taste brunt at all the sauce that came with it Complimented it well we also had gyoza they were really good and had a lot of filling the broth was rich and flavorful the noddles had great texture weren’t saggy at all and they had lots of toppings available to choose from the egg that comes in the ramen was actually marinated the broth was not overly salty unlike alot of ramen places the miso broth is really good but both me and my boyfriend personally preferred the tonkotsu ramen the broth had this nice buttery taste to it we really enjoyed I can also rave about the pork belly nice tender and falls apart we both order extra meat I’m glad we did they gave good proportion and also had take out containers for the ramen if you have left overs!!!!

Best local spot. Thick flavorful broth, juicy chashu (pork), egg cooked to perfection. AND THEY OFFER STRAIGHT NOODLES. If I see a ramen spot that doesnt offer straight noodles, I completely avoid them. They have vegetarian options as well, which is amazingly flavorful as well. Sooo many inclusions to choose from for whatever bowl you choose. The people there are also very nice and polite.

⚠️I am a strong believer that a great restaurant is not only about serving excellent quality of food but to treat people who walk in to their business like a human being⚠️They have good ramen but I WILL NOT come back to this place after what happened todayI came in today to pick up a customer order and the employees acknowledged me and went to finish putting the food together. While waiting, i thought to myself “perfect, let me go use the restroom”One of the employees stopped me and told me that I can’t use the bathroom, is for customer only. I told him that I have to go really bad and I am picking up on behalf of a customer. This employee went and asked the owner of the restaurant who at the time was helping in the kitchen if I can use the restroom. He loudly said “no, for customer only”For those of you who knows how small this restaurant is, I was standing right outside the kitchen and the owner and I made eye contact and I still asked him to let me use it and he said “no for customer only “I should’ve ran in the restroom…that’s how bad I had to go🥴I get the whole “customer only” but I have never had anyone told me that I can’t use it after I begged them.I hope the owner reads this. A customer is not only a person who is getting service that day, a customer is anyone who walks in to the restaurant!! You need to have a little heart and compassion! By the way, for us working as driver who come to pick up a customer’s order, we are representing them, your customer!Kindness and compassion go a long way‼️

This is a very impressive ramen gem in the city of Highland.The wait staff is extremely kind, the decor is minimalistic, but very fun, and the seating arrangements and flatware are very well chosen to tie everything else together.Their menu is extremely simple, yet each item significantly different and truly wonderful.I had the truffle oil ramen with wavy noodles, and found that every layer, top middle and bottom, had different texture as well as flavor profiles. The top was very bright and sweet, the middle was savory and balanced. The bottom was earthy and filling.The egg was just *delicious. * When I return, which I definitely will, I will ask for 2 eggs to be added. The soft boiled egg alone was perfection.The noodles are simple, but carry the broth extremely well, and have just the tiniest bit of tooth (noodle firmness) to them.My wife, not the biggest fan of ramen in general, chose to get the rice/chicken/dumplings plate. She was very impressed and loved every bit of it. She wouldnt share!She had a dip of the last of my ramen and was so impressed, we got the Miso (her favorite soup) Ramen to go. This place is tiny, clean, and somewhat refreshing. The service was great (A1) and the place had a home type of feel. I ordered the gyoza, fried calamari, and the tonkonsu ramen (spicy). The fried calamari was okay, but nothing worth getting again. The gyoza was good and crispy on the bottom. As for the ramen the broth was good and the toppings were perfect. Yet on another note, I was expecting a thicker noodle and a more flavorful gyoza experience. Besides the few and minor downsides, it is a pretty decent ramen place. If you are ever near by and craving ramen, this place is an okay stop to fulfill those ramen needs.

The clamari is delicious with and without the sauce, the garlic edamame is yummy too! The gentleman and lady who served us today are kind, helpful, and just over all satisfactory. I reccomend this place if youre looking for great tasting ramen and a good time!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMPLETELY RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE. Worst costumer service I have ever received. Due to covid regulations there was no indoor seating, but there was one table available for outdoor service. I ordered inside and told them it would be for here and asked if I could eat at the table outside. The cashier said yes. Before I could sit down, the couple that ordered AFTER me sat at the table (they ordered to go). Being concerned that we had nowhere to sit, my boyfriend went inside to ask if we could move one a small table (which they had inside) out onto the sidewalk since someone sat at the table. The owner assumed we hadn’t ordered (keep in mind I already ordered and TIPPED 20%) and rudely told me we had to wait for them to leave. He not only had a terrible attitude, he also refused to accommodate and bring one of the small tables out for us or explain to the couple that the table was promised to us.The couple ended up getting their food before us and ate their takeout at the table reserved for outdoor dining. We never got our food, they never gave us a table, and the owner continued to have a terrible cocky attitude when we tried to address the situation. We ended up having to ask them to cancel the order (after waiting for 40 minutes and watching food continue to come out) and had to ask for the tip back as well.It’s common sense. We ordered first. Asked if we could take the table. They let the next customer take the table, served them first, never served us, and refused to accommodate for their mistake. The owners mother was a sweetheart and tried to help, but her son refused to correct their mix up and treated us with no respect or kindness, all arrogance and attitude. It was disgusting.

Woah this place is amazing! I ordered the miso ramen with wavy noodles and pork belly and it was super tasty! What I like is that you can add other toppings for a bit extra (I added crispy onions). I also ordered the vegetarian ramen, an order of fried calamari, and a basil quinoa salad. Everything was so yummy! The ramen has a really flavorful broth thats a delight and the fried calamari were crispy and tasty. Just choose your type of noodle when ordering and your protein for the ramen. Also, everyone was super friendly and nice!! At last Highland has a ramen place🙏
