My family had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. We were greeted promptly and given a menu to look at. There are many choices to choose from and the prices are fair. We ordered the Korean BBQ plate, the Spicy Tuna over sushi rice, and the kids shared the Chicken Katsu plate. We also got some Thai Teas and pink lemonades from the fridge. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and bright. Our food was brought to our table quickly, and everything tasted great. We all enjoyed our food and experience here, we will be coming back.

Very disappointed or my expectations were too high. The Ramen eggs were not the typical Ajitsuke Tamago, they are just medium boiled eggs. I felt shorted on the meat portions. The pork meat slices were flavorful, but put together werent even the size of a credit card and even less after I removed all the fat. Not worth the $$ spent for 2 ramen bowls. Service was ok and fairly quick. Service could be more friendly.

Very delicious ramens and friendly staff! Quick service, honest price. We took 2 ramens, one with an extra spice broth and both of them were amazing. Added gyozas and breaded shrimps (they even added an extra one for us!) as a side and it made a perfect combo.

A hidden little gem. The food is fresh and authentic. Its a small fun spot with plenty of seating. Super casual. Cool spot to get lunch. There was no wait when we came in during lunch time and they take telephone orders for curb side pickup!

3/10/22 first time ordering food from here..I ordered the remix hot chicken plate. coleslaw was ok. rice was ok. but the chicken just entirely tastes burnt. this is not worth $16. 😐3/11/22 Edit: So after going and getting another plate of the same thing, i can confirm this tastes a whole lot better. portions were better. and the chicken was not burnt at all. I also opted for potatoe mac instead of the coleslaw and honestly prefer the potatoe mac. idk I hope it was just a one time thing. I appreciate them replacing my meal for free. its still a bit expensive in my opinion but it was pretty tasty the second time around. Im not going to delete anything from this review because transparency is important, but Ill add updated pictures of the food to compare before and afters.

I love pretty much everything about this restaurant. If you havent eaten here yet, youre missing out.Whether you go with loco moco or ramen or any other option, its going to be good and probably even amazing.They also offer specials to try out new dishes. The owner is always experimenting. At the end of the day, this place sells comfort food, and its hard to beat.

Wonderful place to eat at or kill time before doctors appointments. I had the Korean Asada Steak Bowl and mom had the Ramen Bowl. We both enjoyed the flavors in our meals and very much look forward to returning to try something new.

My first time trying them today and I have to give it a high ranking, not only did I absolutely clean my plate and loved the vibe of the place but the customer service has to be top tier as well I didnt feel unwanted in any way and the menu may be small but nothing on there leaves you feeling empty.

Korean BBQ tacos were okay, lemon pepper chicken was great but needs more sauce. Staff was friendly and they let you same items before choosing.Love the variety available here, however I think updated menus are needed. They have so many options but the items are scattered everywhere on the walls behind the counter its hard to really see what your options are. Plus you wouldnt know there was a coffee menu until you get to the register or if you intentionally came here for that.Overall, Im excited to be back to try some more.

Came in for a quick bite with friends and was very happy here. The cashier was very welcoming and definitely knew the menu (helping us to decide). Tried the Korean Saltados and Chicken Katsu. Both were great. The fries were not soggy at all, the rice was perfect and Chicken was amazing. No gross fatty or grisly pieces - it was a nice breast and just the right amount of breading.

I had the ramen and it was very good! I have had quite a few different ramens from different places and this is definitely in my top 5 favorites! Everything is reasonably priced and it did not seem too busy so the food came out pretty quick! Overall, I highly recommend this place to any ramen lover!

The food is good, but the customer service has always been awful. Initially they are friendly when you order, but if there are any issues they quickly become short and rude. I eat there quite a bit and they are very unaccommodating to the customer. I had an instance where I order food and a drink online. Upon receiving my order they presented my to-go drink in a red solo cup. They said sorry they ran out of lids. I asked if I can have one of the soft drink cups with lids that were on the counter and they told me no. I asked for a refund because I didn’t want the drink to spill in my car (which it did while I was driving). They denied my refund because they already poured the drink. I asked why they didn’t call me and confirmed if I still wanted the drink that typically comes with a lid and they said because we don’t do that. Another time I ordered a dish to-go that didn’t come with one of the main ingredients. I asked why they didn’t give a courtesy call to inform me that the dish I order 1-2 times a week suddenly changed. In a rude tone they just said I don’t know what to tell you and hung up the phone. I’ve had a few more instances similar to those. They don’t make any effort rectify a situation or make sure customers are happy. Just the rudeness and the lack of courtesy alone makes me not want to order from here and not recommend it. I worked at restaurants for years and we always had to give customers courtesy notices when the menu changes and confirm that they are ok with the changes.

My husband and I got a soup from here and my soup had eggshells in it. Disgusting! When I called to let them know. To see what can be done. The rep said its too bad and that theres nothing they can do with an attitude. Bad service.. How about a different soup? Or replacement? Never going there again. Not clean here or thorough. Plus, its pricey $20 per soup only because they put 3 shrimp tempura on the side. It was our first going here and will never go again!

Absolutely spectacular food. I almost never leave reviews but had to rave about this place. I got the Korean inspired Cubano and it was wonderful, my kids got the garlic noodles with chicken and it was perfect, and my wife got the breakfast hash that was crazy flavorful. All of it was perfectly cooked. I will be coming here whenever I can. It was priced more like a sit down restaurant than a cafe, but completely worth the price.

My husband and I love this place. We go there often and my husband is trying everything on their menu. So far his favorite item is the Po Boy Sandwich. Their shrimp tacos are delicious, any pork item is flavorful and tender and their ramen is SO GOOD. Give it a try! You wont be disappointed!

One of the hidden gems in Bakersfield...literally it can be hard to find. All of their food is outstanding and the hardest part is trying to figure out whether to experiment or go with what you had last time.For this visit (our carb load before the half marathon) we went with north shore shrimp plate and Korean saltado. Both were amazing and add to the list of order again. It has been a couple of years since we have been to north shore and had Giovannis but this is a great substitute. The saltado was a nice spin on the classic Peruvian dish and kept me wanting more, my only wish was that it had more sauce for the fries.If you are only eating at one place it town start your trip off here.

I think I paid $17 for katsu chicken and no drink, the location is surrounded by a bunch of rich doctors and professional suites and offices so the price is accurate. But I’m cheap by nature. I came here on the recommendation of a friend, who spoke highly of it. I came with high expectations, and was well satisfied. The food is not cheap, at between 10-15 dollars a plate, but it was well worth it. I had the Korean French dip, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. I am not a ramon fan but this place was really good. 👌 I read the hater talking about the prices...umm...if you cant afford to eat really good ramon maybe you should just stick with 25 cent top ramon? Its not even that expensive and you get 2 meals out of one order.... the man that worked there was very friendly... the gyoza/dumplings and potato macaroni salad were amazing.... My friends who have to drive to little Tokyo just for some good ramon said this place is definitely right up there with the place they like in little Tokyo... so they must be doing something right! =)

The location isnt easy to find, but definitely worth the effort. ReMix Asian Kitchen is a family-owned business that offers fusion style food unavailable elsewhere in Bakersfield. Everything here is excellent and Sung (owner/chef) often has new dishes that he will happily offer samples of. They also take the time to explain each dish, which sometimes make your decision more difficult. 😊 They offer catering, so you can share the goodness with family and friends.

In the middle of this business center lies ReMix. This modern asian kitchen with a wide variety of dishes. Prices go from moderate too high (depending on if you like Lobster) but the amount of food easily justifies the cost. Theres a cute bit of wall art representating various types of nerd culture. At the time I visited (around 4) it was empty enough to enjoy a conversation with a friend. The manager even came by to ask how the food was.Highly recommended.

Delicious! It was a spur of the moment thing since we were both busy (I, in school and he, in church), and since it’s Valentine’s Day, why not try something new. So glad I googled and found this resto. My hubby got the Indonesian Style beef curry plate, our son (the camera man) got the Japanese chicken ramen and I, to be on the safe side got the KBBQ plate. If you like a change from simple Asian food then this is the place. Located in the medical plaza across from CSUB. The coffee is amazing! Must try churro coffee. The staff is friendly and sweet. The meat loaf is perfectly seasoned with the best sauce I ever tasted. Must try. The area is perfect if your stopping by for a doctors appointment or want a quiet place to relax. The prim rib sandwich is super tender that it tears apart easily. I highly recommend going! five stars all the way!

I was the first customer of the day as was greeted by the owner and again at the counter by a cashier. I was drawn inside by their outside board showing breakfast items and different types of coffee, the one being a salted caramel mocha was what caught my attention. I also saw the note showing coffee being offered hot or cold. I walked in hoping the cold part meant I could get it blended. Well I ordered it and asked if they blend their mochas here and no they dont so I asked for it to be iced. Their POS (point of sale) machine wouldnt accept my card so I paid cash. While I waited I noticed the cleanliness of the place and saw everything stocked. When I got my coffee it was piping hot and I asked the gal if I could get ice and she looked at me crazy and said ice?! I said yes this is the only way to turn this very hot coffee into the cold one I ordered. She pointed to the soda machine and let me know thats where I can get my ice. After all was said and done the mocha actually was very plain and without a lot of flavor. In fact I added sugar!!

Here is what to expect at ReMix Asian Kitchen: very small serving sizes, extremely overpriced prices(including a 5.4% covid fee), and the aesthetic that would appeal to a 10yr old. Dining in will take you back to your elementary school days, as youll receive your tiny meal on a colorful tray surrounded by some iconic childhood characters on the wall. This is a restaurant I happened to stop by while on my way to a travel destination. All the food recommended by the owner was delicious. Furthermore, they provided information on travel destinations that only locals would know, so we changed our itinerary by making a sharp change to our travel destination. I was really impressed by the travel destination you recommended. Also, a homemade pie that I brought with me to try when I was hungry during my trip! It was so delicious and showed the care put into making it. Anyway, thank you so much for the delicious meal, high-quality travel information, and meticulous homemade pie. Thanks to this, our group decided to stay in Bakersfield the next time we visited LA. Thank you again.
